    I really wanted to like it, but I had to return it. not only is it full of bugs, but it's totally short and repetitive. and in terms of terror it didn't scare me at all. bad jumpscares and worse graphics. definitely not worth it for 22 dollars

    Brilliant horror game, great tension and jump scares. Graphics not great but not terrible and can be largely excused due to the single developer. This isn't a tripple a game and shouldn't be judged as one. It has multiple endings and each play through is usually different allghough some things can repeat.

    I am really surprised to see that it has so many positive reviews on steam, considering that it is completely unplayable due to the number of bugs. I think they have bought reviews, because literally, even after the update patch, I grabbed the yellow note and the game was bugged and I couldn't continue

    The Mortuary Assistant was so scary I had to close my eyes while playing it. The game has a deliberate repetitive nature where you must embalm 3 bodies in a night while being scared **** While doing this you must figure out what the demon is based on some symbols it leaves. The game sounds extremely simple and it is, but your first time playing you will be too scared for it to seem simple.The Mortuary Assistant was so scary I had to close my eyes while playing it. I tried to brave man the game at first just running through the apparitions, but as the game continued there were more and more surprising scares. Sure most of the games enjoyment comes from jump scares but is it really that bad. The game is incredibly short which is good but it might be a bit expensive for the length. I've never been so scared playing a game in such a short period of time and if you are looking for a scare, I recommend this game.… Expand

    I feel like i was inside a chapter of the twilight zone with this game, where everyone sees a reality and I am the only one aware of what is really happening. the game is full of bugs. the graphics makes it look like a game from 2006. the story is a big cliche. cheap jumpscares, and the worst part, the game is way overpriced. the gameplay is too repetitive. If you have already played the free demo on steam, play it 4 more times and there you have exactly the full game. definitely not worth 25 bucks something that is exactly the same as the demo x5… Expand

    I waited a long time and the truth is that I am super disappointed. It's the same as the demo, even the duration is not much more than what we already saw. for 22 dollars it is not worth it

    the length is pathetic. supposedly they say that the duration is about 5 hours, but what they do is that it has 5 endings and you have to beat the game 5 times, with the same repetitive tasks over and over again. very boring and repetitive. a single gameplay lasts 1 hour. it shows that they did not know how to make a long gameplay and only repeat the demo over and over and over

    the game is beyond broken. and the story is practically non-existent. the gameplay is too repetitive, and they even pretend that people play it 5 times. definitely not worth the 25 dollars they ask for

    A very short game for the time that the game was released, it would be possible and I will make it longer. Not a terrible game, but still a lot of bugs.

    The Mortuary Assistant manages to capture the power of true horror with unpredictable jump scares at every turn. Constantly changing item locations and demon characteristics force you to pay attention and not get complacent. With well-timed audio and unexpected surprises, the fear factor never leaves and you have to adapt to the horrors. While controls aren’t perfect and visual graphics aren’t at their best, it’s still a horror experience worth diving into.

    Creepy mortician horror with believable corpse preservation and procedural demon terror. However, both quickly become monotonous.
