Jan 12, 2021All in all, this is a great game! It is jam-packed with story and lore, features classic 2D pixel art and 8-bit music too. It has brought classic genres to a new light in fun and interesting mashups that vary in difficulty especially with the 'glitches'. My only complaint about this game is the mislabeled controls on the PC version.

Dec 17, 2019Unfortunately, SuperMash is a game where the concept is better than the execution. While the spritework and chiptunes are nice, the gameplay holds the whole thing back; a big problem when the gameplay is supposed to be the main feature. Ironically, the mashed-up games usually end up being less than the sum of their parts.

Dec 30, 2019SuperMash is a unique concept – what do you get when you smush together two different genres of games? In this case, a mixed bag. SuperMash, a game where two of six classic console genres are combined for something new and different, comes across as a brilliant idea with mediocre implementation – with some revisions to and improvements of existing content, the experience could be much more enjoyable.

Dec 20, 2019It’ll be rare for you to want to save any of the creations Supermash lets you construct, which is indicative of how shallow and unsatisfying they all are at their core. In a bid to try and do so many things right, Supermash forgets the fundamentals of all the genres it tries to encompass, while also overreaching by trying to make them all work in some way together. None of Supermash’s creations feel close to replicating the joy of their inspirations, and instead serve as reminders that there are far more focused and polished attempts at each individual one that will reward your time better. There’s no doubting the imaginative idea at Supermash’s core, but it ends up choking on its ambition.

Dec 30, 2019The big problem with SuperMash is that even when the game's random elements behave, it just isn't a very fun game.

Dec 15, 2019Good concept, terrible realization. There are so many bugs in this game. Game would be better without glitch thingy.

Dec 15, 2019this game is very nostalgic, with all the mash up of the game, make it very interesting to play the game, love it so much, but its 0/10 for me tho
