    A great game that is likely to give many 100’s of hours and years of game time. The game starts slowly but opens up after the early tutorial missions and blossoms into a really great RPG with interesting writing and storytelling. Gun play is satisfying without being frustratingly difficult. Progression is smooth and keeps you interested in carrying out different activities.     Hey kid, you like Bethesda Games Studios games? Skyrim, Fallout 4, Oblivion, y'know? Yeah? Then this one's for you. 60 hours in and I feel like I haven't seen more than 5% of what the game has to offer. It's food. this game is awesome.

    I agree with the critic reviews. This game is fantastic! What I like best is that Bethesda lets you play however you’d like. You want to be a space pirate? Go for it. You want to be an explorer? Explore to your heart’s content. You feel like being a chef? You can do that too. This game has endless possibilities and I love that. Overall 10/10 and my personal GOTY.

    Great Game love the customization and the GIANT universe you get to explore the game has that Bethesda charm and I haven't seen any game breaking bugs, it's finally good to have a Fantastic Xbox Xclusive (suck it PlayStation)

    60 hrs so far and this game is nothing but amazing, artwork is just a masterpiece.
    I like the gameplay and about to get a NG+ for the second time, I honestly don’t get people saying this game look awful, I’m playing in my 3080 and the game looks amazing for me. There are bugs but not as many as some people wanna make it look and I haven’t experienced any crash or bug that make the game not    60 hrs so far and this game is nothing but amazing, artwork is just a masterpiece.

I have to say from what I played it has delivered pretty well as to my expectations. The beginning of the game starts off well and builds the story pretty quickly. The combat in space is pretty decent. There could be improvements, however the game is massive. I overall see myself playing this as much as I played fallout 4 in the past. The modding scene for this game will more than likely be massive.… Expand

    Well, finally another masterpiece from Bethesda, this game is a refreshing change after FO76 and it brings back the exploration, good sidequests and the bugs too.     The beauty of this game for me, its the sidequests which are pretty extensive and sometimes i think they are better than the main constellation storyline, the UC vanguard for example.

    Frankly, i dont know why so many people are review bombing this game, maybe its because of 30 fps on consoles, maybe its playstation, or they just didn't like the flow of the game. What i know is that this game is another masterpiece from bethesda and i cant wait for modders start playing around with it.    … Expand

    If you love Bethesda games this is their best game yet by far. A captivating story with real gut-wrenching consequences. People complain about the borders on the planets map, but from what I have experienced the map on each planet seems much bigger than fallout 4.

    Don't expect a vast amount of living planets and some unrealistic No Man's Sky gameplay - no Bethesda went mature.    Reading the reviews made me dislike the game, but after that, every time I booted up the game, I found myself having a blast in a through-and-through Bethesda game. Ridiculous expectations from people who don't know Bethesda games are the only reason for mixed reviews.

    Don't expect a vast amount of living planets and some unrealistic No Man's Sky gameplay - no Bethesda went mature. Think of Mars, barren, some outposts, filled or abandoned, and the occasional cave. It is almost a believable universe. You build an outpost yourself to mine resources to make money, exactly what will happen in real life when we lower the cost of space travel. Exciting for the scientists, explorers, and businessmen, but not for the common folk except for the dreamy earth-like planets that are (meant to be) scarce.

    The only thing I miss is not-so-necessary on-planet mounts. I would have enjoyed riding around for the sake of peace on the righteously barren and boring worlds, as also confirmed by one of the in-game characters to be a true experience for the explorers, although he mentioned he enjoyed walking the barren planets, just like the game offers.

    The game is extremely familiar to Skyrim where I enjoyed exploring the stories and cities the game had to offer while visiting some interesting cities and doing combat with or against the factions presented to you. And just like with Skyrim, If you enter cities or fast travel, there is a loading screen. I laughed when I met a settler on a civilian outpost who started with "I used to be an explorer just like you, but then.. ah that's a too long story." A great reference to the "I used to be an adventurer like you, but then I took an arrow to the knee".

    This game doesn't try to be something it is not, it is a beautiful Bethesda game and that is what I expected.

    If you don't like the space context, and if you do but rather play a planet explorer which is quite unrealistic but entertaining in its own way with vibrant planets, don't hate on Starfield - just play No Man's Sky.

    I wanted the best Bethesda game yet, and a place where I could enjoy the dynamics of our own real complex but sometimes simple universe, and these were wonderfully crafted into my favorite game of all time, STARFIELD.    … Expand

Bethesda really knows how to put you in the boots of your character and give you loads of options in a game world consisting of interesting characters, exciting events, intriguing lore, fun combat, and an RPG experience that is wide open for you to play any way you choose.     Pros: Questing is a blast very good writing top notch acting as well, they managed to make the main story interesting. Side quests....Wow better then the main questing and soooo many of them.     Base building I personally am not a fan of it I did not even like it in NoManSky but it is good not on the level of Fallout 4 but it's interesting when I want to tackle that aspect of the game.

    The game is very well optimized out of the gate and thank you for this, I am running a 5900x, 32gb 3733mhz, Sapphire Nitro + 7900 xtx. It runs 132fps and loving it on Ultra.

    Cons:

    Some of the bugs Like when you visit a certain town and have to do a mile run but the main character that announces you bugs out and does nothing. That sucks lol    … Expand

    Acontece que quando algumas pessoas dão notas pensando somente em seus gostos pessoais, as reviews deixam de ter sentido.
    As reviews sérias podem até ter as opiniões e gostos dos revisores, porém a nota final deve sempre considerar os pontos artísticos da obra como um todo. Em outras    Starfield é um game grandioso demais e claro que devido a isso, pode agradar muitos e outros nem tanto.
    Acontece que quando algumas pessoas dão notas pensando somente em seus gostos pessoais, as reviews deixam de ter sentido.
    As reviews sérias podem até ter as opiniões e gostos dos revisores, porém a nota final deve sempre considerar os pontos artísticos da obra como um todo.
    Em outras palavras, todos os jogos devem ser analisados com a mesma ótica.
    Pensando nisso, Starfield acerta em quase todos os pontos artísticos de um jogo de videogame e por isso creio que ele merece 10.
    Jogabilidade fluída; músicas envolventes e muito bem colocadas nas milhares de possibilidades; muito divertido explorar em terra e no espaço; gerenciamento de personagens, estruturas, naves, entre outros. O conteúdo gigantesco deste game é incrível. Por isso fazer revisões somente jogando 10 horas de gameplay, nem deveriam ser aceitas aqui.
    E sobre bug... claro q tem. Mas pela tamanho deste game, a quantidade é ínfima.
    Ah, e não vale abaixar a nota porque não saiu pla PS5.
    Starfield conseguiu criar sua identidade sem perder a essência dos RPGs Bethesda.

    Un excelente juego, es un puro Bethesda y al menos a mí no me decepciona ya que esta apegado a la realidad lo único negativo que le veo es que no puedes seleccionar en la nave donde aterrizar y le falta estar más pulido, le pongo 10 por son injustas las calificaciones de 0 de gente enojada porque no llego para su consola preferida que hacen eco de la estúpida guerra de consolas y que noUn excelente juego, es un puro Bethesda y al menos a mí no me decepciona ya que esta apegado a la realidad lo único negativo que le veo es que no puedes seleccionar en la nave donde aterrizar y le falta estar más pulido, le pongo 10 por son injustas las calificaciones de 0 de gente enojada porque no llego para su consola preferida que hacen eco de la estúpida guerra de consolas y que no saben que con una cuenta de game pass lo pueden disfrutar, pero su fanatismo no les permite ver eso… Expand

It's 2023 and things have changed , welp so has the Bethesda franchise lineup because Starfield is here . It's 2023 and things have changed , welp so has the Bethesda franchise lineup because Starfield is here . It's not just 1 map with many caves , or 1 map with small maps within , we have country sized planets , Island sized moons etc Combat is really fluid compared to previous titles , with no V.A.T.S , with no Magic or Bows you have many types of advanced weaponry this time around . Jetpack, Boosting & sprinting are a good change up to the standard " Sprint " ( Sliding also here ) Setting is anything and everything depending on where you are so their is no 1 or 2 themes . ( Snow / Fall ) or ( Mountains / Forest ) Starfield has systems full of different climates and sunrises & Planet rises are a thing , even a binary solar system with multiple sun's make for great skyboxes . Lastly the Lore & Writing is quite the egg to Crack into , you won't get or understand half in even a handful of hours but believe me Starfield has more than a typical Bethesda chest full of lore , the writing seems very polarized , Some missions and quests take you on a novel ride , some a film escapade and others some basic Elementary fun . I think they really went at it and let the creators work here .     I really dont get all the hate, i have read the negative user reviews. They do not get one major point: this game is massive and it delivers. Of course nothing is perfect, but everything is working great.

    An absolute masterpiece. I wasn't a huge fan of Skyrim but I enjoyed both Fallout 3 and 4. This is definitely a Bethesda game. If you know, you know. People complaining that it's not a space simulation game are silly. This is a space adventure game with base and ship building added on. It's terrific.

    Unlike previous Bethesda titles, it steps away from a world map and now divides it into instances. These instances cannot be traveled by foot and require you to move your ship (which you are anchored to). Much of the game is empty worlds with procedurally    This has become easily my favorite Bethesda game thus far. Though it has fixed many issues, it retains new issues for the series.

Much of the game is empty worlds with procedurally generated locations, though also houses plenty of hand-crafted content for the player to enjoy (more than Skyrim or Fallout 4).

    Despite the flaws, the game is a step up from previous titles. Few bugs, improved combat, an interesting story, amazing side quests, and an overall freedom Bethesda is known for. Ship combat feels good, if not a bit clunky. The base building seems complex at first glance, as well as shipbuilding. But getting past the small learning curve, you can make wonderful things.

    The game is also already getting mod support. Plenty of cool mods are being made, ones that can help run the game better, as well as mods to simply improve the quality of the game. This isn't to 'fix' the game, but to enhance it. An aspect people don't seem to understand. I can enjoy the game vanilla, but I'd rather adjust the game to my perfect liking. I'd do this for every game if I could.

    I've enjoyed the small things, the large moments, and the emotion I've felt playing this game. I think it's a perfect title despite its flaws, which I don't think should reduce the score as every game has flaws. It's only when those flaws ruin the game I would lower it. This game might not be for everyone, as it's basically a Bethesda title in space. There isn't a whole lot that is new, so if you're looking for innovation, look elsewhere. But if you simply want a Bethesda title in space, to have that classic feeling but enhanced, then this ist he game for.    … Expand

    A lot of people are review bombing this game for illegitimate reasons, mostly angry Sony fans and overly sensitive people who are easily offended by a pronoun option. It's a good game, not a great game, but a good game. If you enjoy elder scrolls or Fallout, you will enjoy this.

    It’s the stereotypical Bethesda rpg, but newer and better. And isn’t cut and pasted too much from fallout or Skyrim, so it feels new and has different features. Pretty seamless release compared to most new releases. Not buggy like others may suggest. Runs great on both Xboxes (series s and x). Well done. Can’t wait to see what this new world has in store for the future.

    I fell in love with Starfield. It's my cup of sci-fi and I can't wait to spend the next thirty, fifty, maybe seventy hours here. I enjoy the exploration, the shootouts, the art style, the ship building, and the diverse worlds. I gratefully acknowledge the good optimization and the absence of major bugs. But I can't overlook the flaws. There are bad animations, ugly faces and repetitive moments.[Issue#329]

    In a year dominated by sequels to franchise favorites, there was a hope that Starfield would carve its own path to success. While the team at Bethesda should be commended for taking such a big swing, there’s no denying that the game doesn’t feel like a cohesive work. Maybe continued support and future sequels will make something more meaningful out of a work that is clearly deeply enamored with both science fiction and space exploration. Unforunately, this first launch has had far more mixed results than desired.
