May 18, 2016The makers of this game keep claiming "we wanted the multiplayer aspect of the original." Understandable, but they must've never played the original. The original had MP aspect through Campaigns, which made it amazing. This is just pure "lol CoD-Star Wars". Totally lame.

Oct 6, 2016A piece of junk. Hackers are abundant. Same netcode issues as Battlefield 4. Same silly bugs as Battlefield 4 that never seem to be fixed. Real content is subsituted with starcards and pickups, most of which are useless.

Nov 23, 2017A good graphics but gameplay is very very boring and lamer. Good Star Wars design but not adaptable with a good gameplay. It looks like this game is dedicated to children.

Mar 26, 2017pros: Star Wars setting, graphics, sound
cons: lack of content, very bad game design, broken core game mechanics (worst team balancing ever), casual gameplay, pc platform full of hackers -
Dec 2, 2018its really boring after 20 hours there is no story mode. it's only multiplayer but you know what? there is not that much map and game mode in a "multiplayer only" game. congrats ea.

Jun 19, 2020This game does not even have a bloody single-player campaign! F**K EA! F**K DISNEY!

Sep 24, 2021This game is easily the worst designed game I have ever played. I can't believe this was ever sold for $60. EA, please commit liquidation.

CD-ActionFeb 4, 2016A perfect game for short sessions. It’s not deep enough to convince online shooters veterans, but it will definitely win over Star Wars fans. [01/2016, p.34]

Pelit (Finland)Jan 4, 2016Star Wars Battlefront looks and sounds great, and with Battlefield-class gameplay could have ruled the multiplayer galaxy. Unfortunately, at best OK-level, Battlefront-class gameplay is much too shallow to last long. And this is THE one license, which really needs a single player campaign. [Dec 2015]

Edge MagazineJan 3, 2016Any semblance of subtlety is abandoned entirely when it comes to the playable Hero and Villain characters. [Jan 2016, p.110]
