Bought this game so i could feel accomplished and proud but some guy bought all the pride for 2100$ and force choked me and everyone on the server as soon as I logged on. This game is completely unbalanced. Don't buy it.

No normal story of the company! And in multiplayer, the system works P2V system. Pay 60$, which would then have to pay 120.
Moreover, EA said that only temporarily disables lootbox, and after the adjustments will turn it back on. Do not buy Battelfront 2! If we lose now in the near future the game will be overrun lootbox!

Have heard about the microtransaction in SWBF2, WTF EA?????

Gameplay = Great, Graphics = Great, Audio = Great.
EA trying to suck us dry and bring freemium tactics into our AAA games. Ridiculous.

Keep your Freemium mobile game loot crate models where they belong. On my cell phone.
Loot crates that are anything BUT strictly cosmetic have no place in games we are paying top dollar for already. Thanks for playing EA.

Slimy, greedy tactics. I've already paid for a AAA title, I expect the whole game. You'll get no more business from me EA.

Do you really want to grind game after game for a chance at opening up a crate that may contain a card relevant to you? If you are at all a fan of Star Wars you will not buy this game. Mediocre story, and terrible progression in the multiplayer system. If i put hours into a specific class I want unlocks for that specific class not a box that randomly generates a reward for me. Yay an emote for a class I don't use at all. No way that EA did this on purpose to drive the sale of more lootboxes(Sarcasm). Utter trash.

The game has breathtaking visuals despite a few occasional hiccups and glitches. The developer's response has been equally insulting and overall Battlefront II comes across as a "Slap in the face" to it's loyal fan base. The brief of the game is this. Buy it to be able to spend around 200$ to be able to have the chance to have some fun. maybe. It is a 0/10 from me as it is literally unplayable without a rich daddy giving you an allowance of over 2,4K in allowance... 3. Anti-humanity flight control system from DICE since Battlefield 1942, and they never improve it. DICE should learn how to make a semi-flight-sim from Warthunder. Infinite Warfare did a much better job last year than DICE and I don't know why people gave them so much negative reviews just because it happened in space? I bet those Star Wars themed space flight simulators made in the 1990s are much better than DICE's games.
    4. Toy-like spaceship models. It seems like EA makes DICE to look after those stupid low performance Xbox scopion and Playstation consoles and "why not make those spacecrafts low-poly so the consoles can run at 4k 60fps".
    5. First-person and third-person switching is so badly made, DICE should learn how to make a first person kong-fu-martial game from Shadow Warrior 2.

That's all I hate about Battlefront 2. And I indeed think Battlefront 2015 is a much better game except it has less characters in game.

The same people are also the reason why we now have all sorts of micro-transactions in $60 games in the first place. They are also responsible for encouraging the publishers to push for day one DLCs, content cut from the game to be released as DLCs, and other such disgusting practices in the past that others like us have to suffer for.

The game has great visuals. That is the only thing 'great' about it. Gamble box (loot box) progression system is seriously flawed, having characters locked in a $60 AAA game is just dumb; it feels like a free to play game that they're also charging $60 for. Whatever you do, don't buy it.

Like a Freemium mobile game, except you pay $70 up front.

People who think this game should be judged separately from its monetisation methods is ignoring the fact that the game was LITERALLY designed with how to extract every single cent from players in mind. That's the CORE gameplay design. How to empty their customers' wallets.

    DO NOT BUY

I've spent about a week in this game now and I can safety say it's pretty bad. I'm not going to go into detail with the micro-transaction progression system because you've heard it elsewhere. But it's important to understand just how terribly unbalanced that progression system makes game-play. Virtually every single match comes down to who paid for more loot crates. Every match just leaves you feeling bad. If you lose, you realize there was virtually nothing you could have done to help prevent it. And if you win, you're not sure if it's because of your own ability or if your team just had more bonuses.

The entire game feels like it was built around the progression system. Games have just enough players to feel immersive, but few enough that you encounter the same people again and again and getting familiar with their power ups, which the game kindly shows you upon your death.

Communication is literally non-existent. There is no chat or command function. You have absolutely zero way of coordinating an attack or defense.

There are a lot of bugs. I've had sound drop out, run into invisible objects, gadgets not work properly, and occasionally get stuck in the environment.

Sad truth is, even if EA and DICE decide to remove loot crates altogether, the game is fundamentally broken. It lacks the depth that even the most basic FPS has. The game was designed around a monetization scheme, and it shows.

They aren't happy with a large, or even hugely successful sellout, they want ongoing revenue. So pay to win is introduced. When this invariably causes a huge backlash, due to introduced time-sink grind mechanics, forced waiting periods, and loot crates that aren't just cosmetic, they have a chance to address and fix the issues. They don't. They remove pay to win... temporarily, no real backtrack, these same mechanics will be back. The grind to unlock heroes is unreasonable. The pay to win aspects are unfair. It's a full priced game that should be free to play, but wants the worst of both worlds (high price + micro-transactions). I returned my pre-order, and counselled everyone I know to do the same until EA learns from this debacle.

It's so frustrating. This game is simultaneously a GoTY and worst GoTY at the same time... but the things that make it worst ruin the things that make it the best.

Even the tinsel of the Star Wars world cannot hide the silly story and the boring singleplayer gameplay, or the necessity to accumulate the credits in the crate hunting in multiplayer.
