   This is the best moba i've played, simply. I started playing Heroes of Newerth then Dota 2 but this games didn't make me have fun like Smite!This is the best moba i've played, simply. I started playing Heroes of Newerth then Dota 2 but this games didn't make me have fun like Smite!
   It's good balanced, it's in 3D,it's skill shot based so also if you are underleveled you can win a fight versus a more farmed enemy, everyone in the game has it's utility and doesn't fall off so hard late game (like supports in others moba, that late game could just quit the game cause they were useless anyway) listen me, download it and you'll be Surprised, league of legends it's a **** compared to this :)… Expand

As the first MOBA game I have played SMITE made the transition from shooter games (Both first and thrid) to MOBAs an easy thing. SMITE will really help you as a catalyst to learning the MOBA style without starting where skillcaps are very high and new players are very poorly treated. SMITE offers great cost effectiveness with its pack for all gods (heroes/champs) for only 30$… Expand

   I've never played a MOBA before, never was my style of game, I'm also not huge on player vs. player content in games.

   but I like this game, it's a lot of fun, the character designs are great, and the gameplay is fast paced once it really gets going.
   
   Only down sides, are some balance issues (Loki is made of glue and razors), and there's quite a few douche-bag's who expect everyone to play perfect every time, regardless of whether or not they are new, or have even played with the god before. Then refuse to take responsibility for their own actions.… Expand

   This a nice game for a MOBA and I have not been able to really get into those types of games. I just sort of lost interest after awhileThis a nice game for a MOBA and I have not been able to really get into those types of games. I just sort of lost interest after awhile because the teaching mechanic doesn't really work well. If a PUG is really green they get stomped without knowing why and other issues that games have that are in this genre. I think Smite does a good job to try and curb these as much as possible.    Over 4k hours on SMITE
   +amazing charater design, together with their stories and their abilities in game refering to the mythology

   +great gameplay with friends
   +compared to other mobas 3rd person view
   +very good combat system
   
   -very very bad optimalization, every single patch i spent hourse solving problem game crashing, lags (even tho my pc was way stronger than the requirements) so even after 8 seasons they were not able to solve this
   -bad servers, occasionally, the ping and maintence was really annoying, without any annoucement, they just shut down servers for several hours
   -bad ranked, even tho in S8 its getting better
   
   The cons are more of a technical issues than the actuall gameplay, if i was gonna rate it separately, i would give 8/9 for a gameplay, for optimalization 5.… Expand

   Long waits for a game and its very rare to have a close game you either win really easily or get smashed.

   If the game had a better matchmacking system and more of a player base the game would be less frustrating. Games are over too quick or you spend ages getting beaten badly and no one wants to surrender. Normally the guys that have overfed the opposition.
   Theres better MOBAs out there I'd strongly recommend going for lol or dota. Give this one a miss… Expand
