   This is a fun little FPS game. It was released back in 2005, and this is the first time I've played it and thought it was pretty fun. Don'tThis is a fun little FPS game. Don't expect a masterpiece or hours upon hours of gameplay, but if you like a short single-player focused sci-fi shooter with a cool setting, then give it a try.
   
   The setting is a near future and really reminded me of Deus Ex (from what I've heard, it was initially planned to be a sequel to Deus Ex, but later turned into a standalone title). You play as military commander who gets injured in battle and implanted with combat augmentations, which become available for use over time.
   
   This is what I really enjoyed about the gameplay. It's not just your bog standard corridor shooter relying on twitch reflexes. It has a bit of a strategic edge, as you acquire a number of interesting augmentations throughout the game, such as the ability to slow time, ballistic shielding (temporary protection from bullets), cloak, enhanced vision, and so on. In addition to augmentations, you also find some cool gadgets to use in battle too, such as spider bots to act as your little pets and aid you in combat, deployable force field to act as cover, a large variety of grenades (most of the ones from Deus Ex), and even a nanoboost, which is like your emergency revive that you can choose to use if you die in battle.
   
   The game seems to have only one difficulty mode (I didn't see how to change it), but overall it's paced really well. I didn't come across any difficulty spikes and the game never throws anything unfair towards you. In some levels it's just you infiltrating some facility, in others the combat takes on a large scale assault and you have many of your squadmates with you and witness battles between large groups of soldiers. It's all really well done, even if graphically the game aged a fair bit.
   
   I only have one big gripe. The game crashes from time to time for no reason. It only happened about 5-6 times for me during my playthrough, but because you aren't able to save anytime you like, at times you could lose chunks of progress. Saving can only be done in special save rooms and also at the end of each level.
   
   Overall it was a fun game. Aside from the crashes, I thought it was well done and would certainly recommend it if you like FPS games with a story and a bit of a tactical edge.… Expand

   Positives: cool cutscenes, online, and huge arsenal of weapons negatives: bugs, not a lot of people are ever online, expected more from this FPS.

   What's good of a PC game that doesn't let you turn off auto-aim? It also has sound glitches in the pause menu. Hard pass.

   story: the plot is cheesy and i just didn't like it , its basically 2 armies are fighting your on the good side go fight, and your character gets blown up then put back together inspector gadget style but now you can use bio powers even if they said they didn't install certain ones only for you to later find out you can activate those powers ?. you are a super soldier with a soldiers ideals and do your best to beat the bag guys its boring and not a marvel in story telling or characterization but it is functional

   World building was a little better but mostly being visual , i liked the enemies armours reminded me a lot of killzones and or starwars clones , always good to have cool armour on an empires soldiers , the fact that enhanced beings call being emp'ed snowblind was creative and cause for the games name , although a little misleading of the games setting ( i expected more actual snow) the augments are cool and would have been cooler if we got to explore the technolgy of them but i digress, not the best world building but definitely some great ideas through out.
   World building : 5/10
   
   Graphics: i actually thought these graphics looked really janky and animations were stiff , even in the cut scenes ( but less so in cut scenes) and i feel like if the game didnt feel compressed to corridor draw distance must have been short at least the actual design of things was good , felt very scifi and i liked that

   Gameplay: the game play actualy surprised me there is so many ways to get through the level OR there would be if stealth worked properly so you usually end up running and gunning and running out of ammo real quick. but the massive amount of items was a surprise to me , even if i used about half of them my favorite being the lock pick tool , this game wanted to be an rpg so bad yet it ended up being a very spread thing first person shooter and thats kinda sad.

   sound design: muisc so samey i coculdnt tell witch song was witch , the voice acting is so cheesy and bad and the gun sounds and sound effects are just meh to me.

   project snowblind was a game with some innovative ideas but lack of polish and execution to make them worth while its a pretty lack luster experience , and i know im speakingf from the perspective of 2019 i just was not impressed and there are pleanty of better games from the ps2 era… Expand

The whole game somehow seemed half-done and uninspired. I'm glad they decided not to brand this a "Deus Ex" game, it would have done the series more harm than good.… Expand
