Aug 30, 2016Shocking piece of crap this game is. I'm one of the thousands of people who got a refund through Steam after playing it for over 10 hours. Nothing but lies, damn lies from the devs. The $60 price tag was a complete joke. It was only worth $2.99 at the most!

Aug 26, 2016It's a completely single player game. It's a totally single player game. It's a definitely single player game. It's a boring single player game. It's a harsh single player game.
-
Aug 22, 2016Company who made this game should be sued for false advertising. If someone is thinking about buying this game, please just don't. It should be called No Man's Lie, because like 80% of features which were presented and advertised before release are not in the game.
-
Aug 17, 2016No support for GoG purchasers. 3 patches released for Steam users, 1 empty patch for GoG and nothing since. Currently the game is utterly broken. Won't even start and with a developer that is ignoring a retail channel, I have to rate this game a big 0. GoG are waiting for the patch from Hello Games so they can make it available.. truly despicable behaviour from HG.

Aug 18, 2016This is a scam. The game shown in the trailers simply doesn't exists. 2/3 of the features shown in the trailers were cut. Hello Games must be thankful for Steam and Gog having strong refund policies that allows users to ask for a refund for any reason, otherwise they would have lawsuits pilling up at their mailbox.

Sep 18, 2016I learned my lesson. Never buy a game until a month or two after launch. Never believe the hype, just go off user reviews. An expensive lesson indeed. Someone should launch a class action against these developers.

Aug 31, 2016Clear case of developers lying to our faces again.
E3 and demos overstate quality and amount of content when it ends up only showing you 30 different plants and animals, all changed in minor ways. -
Aug 12, 2016Another overpriced overhyped piece of crap. This game is technically poor at everything it tries to do, yet this doesn't prevent the developer to oversell on every point, and blatantly lie on some aspects. Research heavily before buying, or buy blindly at your own peril.
-
Aug 16, 2016What do you get for 60$? A boring, repetitive, and overhyped game. This is what you get for overhyping a game, and now you get No Man's Poop. Also this game is currently broken on pc.

Aug 15, 2016I respect autistic people, but only they can get some find some new creative experience from this EMPTY, repeating and boring "game". Hype of this game show everything that is wrong with gaming industry.
-
Aug 15, 2016The interface stinks "console" all over the place, seldom seen such a lazy pc port, this interface is just plain ugly and crafting/upgrading stuff is more exhausting then it has any right to be on PC.
-
Aug 30, 2016This game is total poop. I didn't even buy this crap, I torrented it. It was a waste of bandwidth. This game offers u nothing, there's nothing to, the random monsters are all turd-like, and the devs lied about the whole game.

Oct 18, 2016Sean Murray is a **** liar. The game does not even have half of what was promised. The only thing to do in this game is an endless grind. None of the planets even feel unique. Stay far away from this game.

Aug 15, 2016No multiplayer.
No mountains.
No deep caves.
No deep sea exploration.
No forests.
No customizable FOV.
No challenge.
No interesting NPC.
No story.
No ending. -
Aug 12, 2016Another non-game for ridiculous price and with ridiculous spec requirements.
Thankfully it flopped. I hope this trend will keep up and the awful post 2006 next gen rules of conduct will end. -
Aug 12, 2016The game is absolutely broken right now. There is nothing that can be done about it, no matter how low you put your settings, how many programs you close. You will still find yourself with a game so unstable you might as well not play it.
-
Aug 12, 2016Must say I'm amazed at this.... it actually runs worse than Arkham Knight on release on this computer.
Concerning the game content, doesn't matter if there's a lot of sand in a desert when each piece looks the same -

Aug 22, 2016Not even worth to pirate.
The worst performance game I have ever played.
None of the developers have even played it.
The game play... doesn't exist.
Get a decent QA team. Releasing software with this amount of bugs and crashes is criminal.

Pelit (Finland)Oct 11, 2016No Man's Sky breaks the record in falling short of the hype – which is an incredible achievement in the category of super ambitious space games. The huge universe is a repetitive, lifeless and meaningless place, no amount of random generated creatures can change that. The most unforgivable fail is making the spaceship such a pain to fly, which makes exploring the vast universe simply a chore. However, at its best the game is epic and many of the issues should be easy to fix, so this might not be the end of the journey after all. [Sept 2016]

PC PowerPlayOct 2, 2016It's partially broken, shallow, repetitive and aimless, but hang me, I still kind of love it. [Issue#255, p.56]

Edge MagazineSep 27, 2016While some poorly designed systems and mechanics chip away at your patience, the feeling of flying seamlessly from space down to a peninsula you spotted from orbit never fails to enthrall. [Nov 2016, p.106]
