    For a game so critically acclaimed, I was hoping for something a little more groundbreaking than what GTA5 offered. It is by no means a poor game, but its gameplay mechanics were unremarkable to me. The guns for example lack impact and force, and the little mini-games spread across the map felt nothing more than a gimmick worth no more than 5 minutes of entertainment. I suppose the game does offer some interesting characterization, and I do love its brilliant satire and sass, but ultimately GTA5 is so very average.

    Oh yeah, and the aliasing in this game is pretty bad as well.

    Did you know I played the first GTA, simple times, damn I miss those Hare Krishna’s… A good solid output, with just a few minor quibbles. Things that seem a little cheeky, like the advert about the new first person shooter, how all the levels are all the same?     A good solid output, with just a few minor quibbles. Things that seem a little cheeky, like the advert about the new first person shooter, how all the levels are all the same?
    Wondering how many times I do a mission, take a constantly yapping passenger, to a location shoot someone and drive back before I realise “how all the missions are all the same”.
    In fact all in all it’s the same GTA just a different Roman numeral. But hands up, for whatever reason it’s still fun!
    What’s the point of manually swapping out characters, isn't far easier and better for the story continuum to do that for me?
    The story is OK, not great but certainly doesn't bore you to death. Some moments are absolutely hilarious, but only a few brief moments.
    I was impressed by blood splatters that stick with the car and with the scenic locations. The graphics are far better than previous versions, imagine Hare Krishna’s in glorious polygons?
    Of course, Great Graphics means high end machine, but that has always been a PC problem.
    Free Driving like a reckless lunatic and wondering if the police will ever show up? And then wondering if there is a parallel in the real world?
    Wondering why the inclusion of strip joins is a must, is it for the kids that shouldn't purchasing this game in the first place?
    Wondering is a video character painted black, allowed the same leniency as an actual black person using the N word?
    Why do they have to swear so much?

    So you know you are old when you actually like and recognise the songs on the radio.
    And dear younger gamers out there … one day it will happen to you.

    GTA5 had it's moments but the multiplayer experience was abysmal, crashes, loading times from hell and just painful to play with friends.

    This game is awesome by all means: attention to details, funny story, jokes, graphics, environment.
    BUT there had to be but... I have no idea how could they test it and miss so many bugs... like:
    1) stuttering on 970GTX so you have to manually set some values through nvidia inspector 2) 4 missions in game are freezeing in one specific place, when you switch characters 3) Game often    This game is awesome by all means: attention to details, funny story, jokes, graphics, environment.
    BUT there had to be but... I have no idea how could they test it and miss so many bugs... like:

    The game is really good although it bugs me that it requires a mandatory day one 5gb patch. With so many delays, surely the game should be shipped in a highly finished state? Installing 7 dvds, then all the rockstar social club stuff, then hours downloading a giant patch. It seems Rockstar does not put user experience first.

    Минусы:

    -идиотский сюжет, мотивация героев совсем непонятна, многие моменты притянуты за уши

    -вездесущая сатира, при этом игра подается на серьезных щах, в итоге выходит ни рыба, ни мясо

    -геймплей. половину игры проводишь за рулем: доберись из точки А в точку Б, послушай диалог,
    убей вон того парня, едь в точку С.... Лишь большие ограбления спасают.

    -ИИ врагов (стреляют метко, тактических действий ноль)

    -поведение копов (зацепил мирный NPC полицейскую машину - все, расстрел на месте; вызовешь копов через экстренную службу (911) - приедут, потупят, даже не вылезут из тачки)

    -большой живой открытый мир, в котором нечего делать вне сюжетных миссий. Теннис, гольф, кино... вы серьезно?

    -маловато элементов кастомизации персонажей. да, их характеры и предпочтения прописаны сюжетом, но тогда зачем вообще вводить кастомизацию? тем более такую кастрированую. Где банданы для Франклина?! Он же gangsta, дайте мне банданы.

    -исчезающие автомобили

    -мелкие недоработки

    Что имеем в итоге? Прекрасный живой мир на фоне блеклого геймплея и идиотского сюжета. Что же, реклама делает свое дело, вот и имеет такой хайп вокруг игры.

    Finally they released it, god it was so long time to wait. It is a good game, everyone knows it, we all wathed youtube or played console version. But it cost 60$ OMG! and it has bugs! all this time they spend to port it to pc... 60$ and bugs... but i like it anyway

    Я из тех людей, которые до релиза на ПК ни разу не видели жта нигде кроме официальных трейлеров.
    По всего интернет-сообщества я её купил, с тех же слов меня ожидал геймплей "на кончиках пальцев", возможности, нереализованные нигде и т.п.
    Что мы имеем по факту: - Это ГТА 4 с модом на сюжет, абсолютная копия, полностью на движке 4ки (без улучшений)
    - Возможности/занятия в этой игре отстают от ГТА Сан-Андреас
    - Невероятный сюжет совсем не нов, но отдать дань нужно, раздел "Чудаки и прочие незнакомцы" удался куда лучше, чем основной сюжет
    - Однотипность миссий
    - Мало ограблений
    - Отсутствие адекватной возможности заработать деньги, особенно запомнились 3 часа поиска денег на то, чтобы улучшить минимально машины для финального ограбления, ибо я всё тратил на оружие, а поверьте.. лучше оставлять 50к перед последней миссией
    - Управление авиацией стало куда хуже, чем в предыдущих частях. Я понимаю для чего это сделано, не хочу писать об этом, но это как минимум некрасиво со стороны разработчиков. С такими полётами нет удовольствия
    - Неслабая часть карты мертва, там ничего нет, и вы там не окажетесь даже при желании достичь 100% прохождения
    - Мыльно, очень, но если не всматриваться - нормально
    - Оказалось, что от 1 лица кататься тут почти невозможно: руль в салоне повёрнут вправо, а вы уже поворачиваете влево

    Онлайн: может там и что-то раскрывается, но, если вам не с кем играть, а с левыми типами не хочется, то этот режим умрёт для вас минут за 30

    Я считаю, что эта игра эмоционально отбила для меня рублей 400
    Моё худшее вложение 2к, лучше бы обратился в МММ, был бы больший профит

    Без учёта онлайна не рекомендую к покупке, тем более её уже взломали    … Expand

    Well it's GTA, you get right into the action and shoot some ... well kinda everybody. There's alot of violence, "bad" language, humor and tons of vehicles.
    The story mode is sometimes weird to follow, but all the missions make up for it. Especially the heists are a great idea. If you are going for single player, go on and buy this game, it's great.

    it was very unstable and messy at release, and I was unable to even start the game until april 16th. 2 days after the release. even this made me dismantle my chair, I quickly realized how great and beautiful the game is after playing. not the best story ever, but decent storylines, and awsome online mode where you can just play around with your friends.

    At first everything completely worked, and the immersion factor lived up to this legendary hype. Somewhere in the middle though, apathy began to set in. By the end, missions felt shallow, dialog grating, and the narrative flimsy. Rockstar proved themselves utter masters of transcendent city building at the expense of everything else.

    Nie moje klimaty - rozgrywka taka sobie, questy średnie, ogólnie nie dla mnie. Ale pewnie znajdą się pasjon aci - grałem u kumpla w sumie jakieś 20-30h na ps4.
    Ale ładnie wygląda przynajmniej.
    Moja ocena za całokształt 7/10.

    I'd love to give this game a solid 10, but at launch there was just a handful amount of really bad bugs and memory leaking. Its been delayed too much to still have in game bugs at launch and it still has its issues till this day. If it were not for GTA V' s modding community I would give it a 6.

    Single player is ok, but GTA Online with its lobby system is a joke. Shame that we must wait for community multiplayer clients to play this game like we could in previous GTA titles.

The multiplayer saves this game, in all truth. Most are not willing to admit this, but the campaign is sorely lacking. Story is typical of rockstar with it's regular bleak and ethnocentric outlook. Not for thoseMultiplayer is sure to get you some good laughs with your friends, but be wary of some of the online players as they can get too caught up in the game and behave overly hostile.     Rockstar always improving and gta V was fun as always

    Multiplayer much better than old games and graphics are better but there is too much things can be better.

    i like the story and online a lot its a lot better i like to see what 5 did so you can play as 3 characters still some stuff it rockstar need to fix but i give it 10 but san andreas still the best gta to me but over all a good game

    i kinda expected this to be better than GTA:SA, but i was disappointed. everybody keeps praising it, but i feel fairly limited. the framerate doesn't go above 60 and pop-in is still dangerous at high speeds. also, the online is just terrible. hacker constantly ruining the game. so much lag, even worse pop-in. some parts just seem broken

    I gave a 8 to GTA IV and I'm gonna give GTA V a 7. Yes, in my opinion GTA IV is better. Not only that we had to wait about two years before V came to PC, the texture quality didn't really change from current gen consoles. I loved IV's story and characters and V was a disappointment in that aspect... V's gameplay is the main reason people like it. I agree on that. V's atmosphere is mehI gave a 8 to GTA IV and I'm gonna give GTA V a 7. Yes, in my opinion GTA IV is better. Not only that we had to wait about two years before V came to PC, the texture quality didn't really change from current gen consoles. V's atmosphere is meh comparing to IV's dark and cold Liberty City. Soundtrack... Again, I prefer IV's radio stations and soundtrack more than V's ones. I had way more fun in GTA IV's Online than in V's. I think that Grand Theft Auto V is an over-hyped game. Yes, over-hyped. It isn't really special. Don't get me wrong, it was a solid game from Rockstar, but IV was fit with so many tiny details I loved and V doesn't have more than half of them. 7/10.… Expand

    In one word: overrated. People even qualifying this as the best game in 2015 is just simply sad. The game is not bad, let's face it, you can be a gangster for one day, graphically it's extremely beautiful, it's cool that there's an open world with random side-stories happening and stuff but other than that, the missions are boring, the control is pretty bad, there's not even a decent storyIn one word: overrated.     I made a mistake by buying this game because of its marketing. The gameplay is frustrating, the missions aren't interesting and the only funny thing about this game is a little cartoon you can find there.
    other than that you'll get to explore and open world full of nothing. there are buildings that you cannot enter. people who you can't interact with and activities you don't want to do.     But publisher policy is very strong for buyers.
    If you want to buy this game , buy it for story mode , never for GTA ONLINE.

    Grand Theft Auto is a real world action-adventure video game. It was developed by Rockstar games and published in September 17 2013. The designers are Leslie Benzies & Imran Sarwar. The game is available on Playstation 3, Playstation 4 , Xbox 360, and Xbox one. It is a little on the expensive side at $60.The game is multiplayer and you can play from an first or third person point of view.

    In the game you have missions you have to complete. You might have to rob a bank or steal a plane. All while running from the cops. The missions get harder as you go on. Outside of the missions you can roam the area freely. The game takes place in San Andreas open countryside and the fictional city of Los Santos. You can explore a vast area and while stealing cars,running over people and robbing banks.

    I was playing on an Xbox one. I am not an very experienced video game player so learning how to play was difficult. It took my awhile to learn how to drive a car. Once I got the basics the game was very fun. Riding in the helicopter was tricky but cool. My favorite part was that I was able to customize my player.

    Overall it is an interesting game. I would not recommend it for younger children. It might influence them in a bad way. It had foul language and not very good actions. Older children might like this a lot. It is on the expensive side but it is worth it.    … Expand

    It is a good game but I don't see anything so special.

    I didn't like it so much the story, the gameplay is the same as any GTA but with better graphics. The only innovation in this game is that now we have 3 protagonists, each with his unique "superpower"

    The online mode pushes Shark Cards too much, and that is a fact, most of the items need abusive amounts of grinding, and that is sad, the online mode´s gameplay is really good, especially with the free DLC, but sadly, the DLC content is hidden behind a secret paywall, vehicles cost an absurd amount of money, requiring you to buy some shark cards if you want to get the content at the launch, a small detail that bothers me are the litteral spam calls from the DLC characters, it is annoying as hell, it pushes the content so hard into you it makes you want to buy the DLC content just to stop those calls.    … Expand

    Но вот есть кое-что - Грабить банки в открытом мире нельзя, а по сюжету их всего 6 - и какой смысл вообще качать этих бандюганов? РОКСТАР - Вы блин офигели!    GTAV - игра классная - лучшая в серии - но вот - есть один минус! Говорили что игра похвастается ограблениями - где можно нанимать всяких бандюганов и прокачивать их....

    Amazing presentation of LA, truly an accomplishment. The attention to details is astonishing. It's amazing to drive around in the city. I especially loved the radio, with all the witty reports and advertisements. The game looks great with a very realistic look and top notch animations and voice acting. The way the story is told through the three characters Michael, Trevor and Franklin is interesting and unique. The plot falls a bit short sometimes.

    A huge chunk of the gameplay is driving and cover-shooting. The shooting part is very simplistic and offer none to little challenge. This is probably one of the simplest cover-shooting system I've played, because of the auto-aiming. Because of this, the missions with combat becomes boring very quickly. The driving is the most rewarding part of the gameplay, with good variety throughout the different vehicles. The game also offers a lot of mini games which provides small breaks from the main activities. I know the game tries to be realistic, but the controlss suffers from this and feel very clunky and slow at times. A problem with the 3 main character system was that I didn't get invested in one of them. In previous games, I've bought clothes and customized my character but this felt pointless since I switched between them frequently.

Patlamayan arabalarla gezen adamlar mı dersin, kendisine para basmakla kalmayıp etrafa da para saçan adamlar mı dersin,Rockstar kendi başyapıtlarını Online'na getirdikleri saçma güncellemeler ile rezil ediyor. Dışardan bakıldığında Online'si çok iyi gözüküyor fakat hiç öyle değil. Hile oyunda çok büyük bir sorun ve yıllardır Rockstar bunun önünü almak için bir güncelleme getirmiyor. Patlamayan arabalarla gezen adamlar mı dersin, kendisine para basmakla kalmayıp etrafa da para saçan adamlar mı dersin, sınırsız mermisi olan veya ölümsüz adamlar mı dersin. Ayrıca Heist çeşitliliği çok çok az ve sıkıcı. Heist'e katıl, giriş sahnesini izle, olay yerine git, kötü adamların gelmesini bekle, adamları vur, bitti. Bunun yanında kötü ve troll takım arkadaşları da cabası tabii. Girdiğiniz 5 Heist görevinden ancak 1-2 tanesini düzgün tamamlayabiliyorsunuz. Bu oyuna bir "Nezaket Puanı" veya benzeri sistem eklenmesi gerekiyor. Troll oyuncular trollerle düzgün oyuncular düzgün oyuncularla eşleşmeli. Arada troll oyuncular için af çıkmalı ki nezaket puanları sıfırlansın.

    Runs decent and quite some singleplayer content.
    Multiplayer has lots of content, but can be dependent on other people internet which means some coop is extremely laggy and unplayable.

    The game has gotten no singleplayer content after release, which is sad. Instead it's focused on microtransactions for multiplayer.

    GTA 5 or GTA Online is a very good game. I can't think of it as of something ordinary and casual, every time you play it - you know Rockstar Games is the best. Tremendous amounts of work on graphics, animating story, giant world, that is impressive. Their game engine, RAGE or whatever, is simply the best game engine to this moment, it is obvious, especially its scripting capabilities,GTA 5 or GTA Online is a very good game. I can't think of it as of something ordinary and casual, every time you play it - you know Rockstar Games is the best. Tremendous amounts of work on graphics, animating story, giant world, that is impressive. Their game engine, RAGE or whatever, is simply the best game engine to this moment, it is obvious, especially its scripting capabilities, platform support, networking part.

    Although.. they've ruined something in this specific game - the plot, story, characters, they become absolutely insensible, cartoonish, they actually ruined the story mode with this to the zero. I don't like it. My first portion of critics of this game is that they drifted from IV's sarcastic accents in characters, story and world building, to the more cartoon and "nonsense" style.

    The second part of my dislike is that GTA ONLINE is a weak multiplayer implementation. It lacks "huge" player counts (you will not have 10x10 or 20x20 deathmatches, you will not play in sessions with >=25 players, that's truth), although technically it is possible. Their SOCIAL tools are rotten with "rate limits" sometimes annoying and .. they jail players with palyers of closest countries. For example, i (being in Ukraine) can only play - with Russian, Chinese, Polish and German players, but i want to play with players from North American (less griefing, less non-english speak, less weird). Loading screens, too long, too many. And finally, the fact that half of times i want play GTA Online it is just offline. Can't sign-in, offline mode, yeah. They sent their servers to maintenance or update or etc, without even admitting this. I don't think the contents of multiplayer mode (weak missions, ugly cheat protection, SAMP-influenced game modes) deserve even a review.

    They've added first-person camera but this is very weak. They did not invest enough into it to be a strawberry. Smoothness in general is an issue in GTA V. And music: it is bad, the Soundtrack (not Radio stations) is just worst in GTA history: weak basses, compressed pads... sound unrelated; yep you can play them in your looong loading screens but they are crap in any sense on other sides. As you may see, this does not change my general score of a game but these are nervous points.

    Yes, the review delayed for years, but my accents did not change and they were there initially since i played it myself after PC release.

    Yes, i realize that LC and LS inherit their specific atmospheres and Los Santos is certainly the base for cartoon characters running all over with RPGs, that's the style, but they drifted too far away from what is soo cool conceptually and will certainly win in future if they will return to that.    … Expand

    Certes, le multi est bien. Vu son succès, c'est indéniable. Toutefois, le succès appelle aussi les mauvais côtés, comme un nombre incroyable de tricheurs (euh pardon, la communauté appelle ça "des moddeurs", lol) et d'abrutis dégénérés qui tirent sur tout ce qui passe. Et on sent que le jeu n'est pas vraiment fait pour ça, les premières heures sur le multi ressemblent à un genre de torture sans fin. Heureusement, via une parade de config routeur, il est possible de timeout la session et jouer seul, en multijoueurs (ce qui est totalement paradoxal), seule méthode pour éviter tous les boulets.
    Bon après j'ai quand même +400H sur le multi, j'y ai trouvé du plaisir (mais uniquement avec des amis dans des sessions "solo en ligne").

    Mais surtout, son plus gros défaut restera l'absence de doublages français, ça je ne le digèrerais jamais. J'entends d'ici les pro-VO qui vont me dire "ouais mais la VO elle est super, t'as pas besoin d'une VF" : bah les gars, c'est pas parce que la VF est dispo qu'on vous impose d'y jouer en VF hein, chacun fait comme il veut ! Par contre là, c'est forcé en VO de par l'absence de choix. ... Et tous ceux qui diront "oui mais le jeu il se passe aux states blablabla ils parlent américain c'est normal" je peux t'assurer que si tu fais un gros AAA (voire AAAA dans le cas présent) qui se passe genre en Italie, et qu'il n'y a pas de voix US, ça ne se vendra jamais outre-atlantique = argument rejeté.
    Je sais que c'est une pratique courante chez R*, toutefois c'est pas pour autant qu'il ne faut rien dire !    … Expand

A failure in the eyes of his wife and kids, Michael sets out on a journey to make millions on the account his anger got the best of him while finding out his wife was sleeping around and decided to pull a multi million dollar home off a mountain top. A man who is tired of sitting on his bleep rotting away meets Franklin and together rob and steal their way to stardom.

    3. Trevor: The new mascot of the series, Trevor is your every day Psychopath who is a drug dealer turned bank robber, He finds out his best friend Michael faked his death 10 years prior whle robbing a bank and seeks out the truth and in turn becomes wrapped up with making a fortune all while living in a trailer with cockroaches while he is also sitting on 200 grand lol.

    GTA V is a title you do not want to miss, gta v is best played on the PC platform as you get 60fps, Graphical upgrades, better resolution draw distances so on and so fourth.

    Somewhat weak story: Everyone will have their opinion but i feel GTA V lacked in it's story, it's your every day run and gun and that's about it. The story does have it's high points and also low points. It's high points are the heists while it's low points are finding deeper connections between the characters,

    Franklin: In my opinion Franklin was the most worthless character in v, all he did was complain and complain some more, always complaining about money even though he is living in a free house with a pool and sitting on top of money. All franklin cared about was money didn't care for michael or trevor only himself.

    All in all get this game it's a great game that i'm sure you will love, while the story can be a hit and miss there are some good missions and some good stories here and there with side missions that are sometimes better than the actual story itself.    … Expand

    Сюжетка слабая, игра живёт только благодаря онлайну. Да и онлайн в последнее время слабеет из-за сломанной экономики. Но всё же эта игра может затянуть и в ней можно оторваться, поэтому я её люблю.

    GTA V is a blast to mess around in, and I mean a BLAST! The game is endlessly fun if you just do whatever dumb **** comes to your mind. The story is quite boring, though, and online is even worse. The game is so fun, however, it cancels these two out in my mind.

    Rockstar is doing great, good graphics, great storyline in the spirit of GTA. But online, why make everything so expensive, for the sake of buying 1 car, you have to play for a week. And it's not at all fun to collect boxes to take to the warehouse, but all kinds of tasks like races, etc. They bring in very little, almost nothing.

    It's entertaining and well produced, there are many different distince characters and settings, the world is very well designed and big.
    The mission design is rockstar like a bit "on rails" and you don't really have that much freedom.
    The story was good for a video game I think.
    They wasted a lot of potential on the online mode, but I still played it a lot.

It's still GTA and it's fun but it's by no means perfect. I have three major criticisms. 1. Story breaking bugs. I hit two of them and had to skip the mission. 2. Boring missions.     Não é o melhor jogo do mundo mas representa bem a franquia GTA, o jogo é muito bom, é divertido e a historia é boa, a franquia em si sempre foi muito marcante e os personagens desse também são, na minha opinião é o segundo melhor GTA depois do San Andreas, espero que inovem mais nos próximos games sem perder a essência, não sei por quanto tempo isso vai agradar

These games were always about single campaign. Unlike Red Dead Redemption franchise, Grand Theft Auto VThis game is avowed standard for all open-world games. And it certainly deserves this title. These games were always about single campaign. Unlike Red Dead Redemption franchise, Grand Theft Auto V is not much different from its predecessor. However sizes of map increased drastically . It was the case when quantity does not mean quality. The game corresponds to the level of the previous ones, but brings very little new stuff.
    Graphics is flawless though

    I love the atmosphere, living city, heists, some sa features coming back, customization, countryside(some of it atleast)

    City feels breathing and living. The ads, programs, brands. It feels like it actually exist. Not like other game worlds.

    Customizing your car, character and weapons are needed features.

    Weapon wheel is great addition. In previous games we need to scroll to find the weapon we want.

    I admire attention to detail.

    So much variety unlike 4.

    Strip club is nice.

    Atmosphere is effective. Game world being strong contribute this.

    It is not the best gta, not by a long shot and at some parts it is worse than 4.

    First of all that social club crap is getting on my nerves. Seven disc is already too much but when you get pass that you still need to get an account, install social club and download all the updates. By the time I finally opened this I lost all my excitement.

    Why do I need to open an account? I am planning to play single player not online. And I shouldn't have to open an account for single player. You also need to download updates even if you are not planning to play online. From 65 gb to 88, 5 gb and I uninstalled the game. It takes your excitement, storage and soul.

    Gta 5 storyline is the weakest gta story ever. Three characters mean three seperate stories and it hurts story. Characters and their interaction with each other is good but story feels like it is not complete. Game claims it is about heists but there are like four or five heist in the whole game.

    Franklin's story feels like CJ's and it feels like playing the same story again.

    Trevor's story based upon Michael.

    And Michael's story is about his family.

    Side characters are empty and they are not memorable.

    Now for the gameplay:

    That police system makes you crazy. You shoot someone with a silencer in middle of nowhere and suddenly one star. Police spawn system is trash. When you are wanted they find and come where you are very quickly. It feels like 3D universe's **** police system. There are also no spawning cops outside wanted levels and police stations. They only use some police cars.

    There is nightstick and taser but police never use them.

    Police choppers are too much and when you blow it up one second later another one appears out of nowhere. Since they keep appearing you can't lose the cops after 3 starts without going into tunnels.

    You get a star even if you exist.

    Police and other enemies have perfect accuracy. They can hit you from other side of the map with crappy pistol.

    Health drains too quickly.

    Restaurants are removed. There are almost zero accessible buildings and the ones that are accessible are mostly copy of each other. Some accessible buildings get locked after missions. Being able to access interiors make the game more alive and it adds something to the game.

    Npc's are too angry. Whatever you do they either swear you, start a fight, shoot you or call the cops. Some removed side missions, like classic vigilante. Heists should've been both main mission and side mission. Most weapons(especially melee weapons)feel the same. They don't feel strong enough and there is very little recoil. Melee fighting is mediocre. You just punch, kick dodge and punch or kick again. That is it. It is so basic. Especially after 4's great fighting mechanics. Cars explode too quickly and easily. If you touch ground with rolled over car it explodes. You can't watch car breaking apart like in 4. Physics are dumbed down. Disarming removed. When you buy a property you suffer with repetitive side missions. They keep calling and harassing you. Some side missions and not feeling rewarded when you finished. You can't buy house. There is websites but it is just for cosmetic I guess. You can't change personal vehicles. Why am I stuck to these slow ass cars? Hunting is not good. You can't even do anything with the skin. Now for the map... Desert and forest is not designed properly. They don't feel isolated and deep enough. Too much mountains. They waste space. Generally you don't want to leave los santos because other parts of the map is boring and not interesting enough. It is just long and empty areas. So many wasted spaces and not enough side missions that involves crime. Underwater controls are tiring. You don't even want to explore underwater anyway, it is boring. Dates are removed. Crosshair is too small and sometimes hard to notice. Gta 5 do some things right and so many things wrong. 4 steps forward 3 steps backward.    … Expand

    The game also removed a lot in the way of little details and physics, even gta4 was way better in this regard. I hope gta6 brings back details and interactivity with the world. Like rdr2.

    Online - I tried it once, dropped it and never looked back. Nearly everyone is a jerk and the p2w is unfavourable to newbies. I guess with Cayo Perico things have improved, but it is still just too superficial for me.

    This game is good, but not at all. Story is one of the worse from GTA series. Driving is not bad, but I don't like it. Optimization is good, graphics are good. Weapon system, you can carry a 10 pistols, 5 carbines rifles, rpg, mini gun, 5 shotguns. Overall games is good for playing casually and for playing for fun.

The missions are super Fischer-Price trash but everything surrounding it is a blast.

    When they added griefing pay to win vehicles and they're forgot to add a decent anti cheat the game died on official servers for people who aren't cheating of throwing a ton of money for shark cards.
    Also they they can't afford servers with the billions of dollars they made so the game is peer to peer and your IP gets leaked to randoms... Let's not    A great game ruined by a greedy company.

    I really like the story, 3 mobs gunning down masses of people. this was very memorable to me.

    BUT if you go to GTA online that is another story.
    Problems:
    1 P2W - more money = more op weapons.
    2 Grind - the grind is too tough compared to how much time you have to pump in.

    Starting from the fact that:
    - it's true, I've never seen a game world so full of different activities to do.
    - Trevor (crazy and out of all logic) for me is the best "characterized" character of the last 10 years in any existing game.

    However, I must point out that:
    - it's all a go from point A to point B, taking up to 10 minutes each time, even in the missions (ok, they put taxis, but everything is slow and cumbersome, do it first in the car);
    - The missions are very guided, you can't go beyond the system that makes you fail;
    - The characters giving the quests are always the same. I remember that in 4 and in San Andreas you met many characters who gave you the quests to start and finish their storyline. I was so sorry not to see at least one woman in charge of something, giving missions (a bit like Elizabeta Torres in GTA IV or Catalina in San Andreas)
    - Like any Open World I play, I first took a 30 minute walk to see how the world reacted. I noticed that the police in the game world do not exist, but they appear in droves as soon as you drop someone or do something wrong with another; (in GTA 4 you met the police on the street, and if you did a nearby crime they were the first to intervene)
    - the northern part of the map (from where Trevor lives upwards), is practically unused, they could have created a more compact map, since there are still activities to be done in industrial quantities.    … Expand

    For me, GTA 5 was a passing game. Yes, it was fun to go through the story, but I didn’t want to stay in this game for a long time. Perhaps because of my age, perhaps just mentally this game did not hook me. After RDR, there is probably not enough plot depth.

    A smooth ride from start to finish. The game shines with the design of the 3 protagonists, especially when they come together and play of each other. Heists were executed perfectly, but some other missions felt like a filler to an otherwise cool story.

    I didn't like it so much the story, the gameplay is the same as any GTA but with better graphics. The only innovation in this game is that now we have 3 protagonists, each with his unique "superpower"

They can do things like: spawn infinite money, auto-kill everyone, spawn 1 million kosatka submarines, fly etc etc. There are also a lot of griefers online who primarily use jets and oppressor mk2's to blow you up. These mindless morons will not stop until they either get bored or you leave the server. There is also an issue where the online mode is HEAVILY inflated causing even the most MEDIOCRE cars to cost 500 000-2 000 000. And i am not even mentioning the more expensive stuff that can cost upmost of 10 000 000 dollars. To have to grind this much money is absolutely insane and it feels like this is all so that people have to buy more "shark cards" (The games way of buying money) The story is pretty good though, altough it is a little old it still holds up rather well today. In general it is an AMAZING game being held back by tons of issues that can really weigh it down in terms of Score. In general i think the game is STILL a 7/10. even if there are so many issues it is still a great game that i would definetely recommend buying.… Expand

    the game at the time of release was a masterpiece. the plot was not very good, the controls are one of the best, the first-person mode is trash, shooting is high, cars are cool. now it is also a top game for me, it is the online version, the pve mode remained as old as it was on the way out.

    Like every GTA game, I had fun initially, but got bored after a while. It has the same issues the series has always had, imperfections in the controls that get annoying after a while, subpar gunplay, etc. The story, like always, was filled with the same character stereotypes that I just don't want to see anymore. They sure built an amazing world though.

GTA4 was also better in these regards, but perhaps not as good as GTA: Vice City.
    Having played it already and having discovered I don't like it as much as the other games, I still consider it worth buying and playing... I guess. If nothing else, it's fun to mess around in just like previous versions of the game... and the graphics are a bit nicer in this version.
    I also thought the story was less serious and more... wacky or zany, and less serious, which I didn't like. GTA4, the two GTA4 expansions, and GTA Vice City were all better in that regard as well.    … Expand

    SP is one of the best experiences I've had. But when it comes to MP, got damn it this game is worthless. The only thing there is is loading screens and more loading screens.

    A good singleplayer game with a decent story and characters. Unfortunately the missions and side jobs really aren't that interesting. The setting is a generic southwest U.S. city that doesn't feel original at all. The missions were repetitive with the exception of the heists which were really well done.     However, GTA online is a totally different story. It's a wannabe MMO that fails in every single regard. The grind is ridiculous, the load times are near endless, and the connection problems are continuous. When i've tried to join GTA online more times than not i've been thrown into a German or Russian server even though i'm in the middle of the U.S. There are hackers in probably 50% of the servers as well. But worst of all is that the large majority of the missions are just flat out boring. You'll finish most of the stuff within 10 hours and only be at about level 15. The rest of the game will be a grind of playing the same stuff over and over again. The only decent part of online is the heists, which you better have 3 other friends to play with because finding a game with 3 randoms is a nightmare nobody should experience. Talk about trying to form for 20 minutes only to get in game and have someone die, then try a couple more times with people dying for one reason or another, then somebody decides to just leave the game and you're thrown back to forming up again. You've wasted over an hour of your time and haven't even done anything. And to top it off when you actually finish a heist finale you'll be rewarded with around 2,000 RP (experience). You can get 1,000 RP in 4 minutes by finishing the quickest race by yourself. It's not balanced at all and you get better rewards for doing the same thing over and over again rather than tackling the hardest missions in the game.     But the thing that brings this game so low for me is how insanely broken it is, in the past Ive had issues joining heists with friends because some player just couldn't be in the lobbies with other players which at least seemed to be fixed after months of dealing with it.

    The worst though is from the executives update. I played a few hours prior to it's release with no issues at all running it on max settings, but post release it is literally unplayable over half the time I'm in game its frozen, freezing and unfreezing every few seconds. Ive done all the troubleshooting possible but Rockstarr support has only given me the usual BS of try this and this and some other stuff that Ive already stated in me trouble ticket Ive done. They broke the game for me on their end because nothing changed on my end between updates so it is from their end and they refuse to help so I have a $60 game that is literally unplayable and it's digital so its not even useful as a paperweight.

    If it is fixed I would obviously raise the score but as of now 1 is a generous rating considering it's only "benefit" to me is that it takes up space on my hard drive.    … Expand

    No option to disable pvp if you don`t want to be killed during a a resupply or in general , for people who want it keep the bonus but not make it compulsory for all players.

When you quit the game, you have to hit escape, go into a separate tab, select exit, confirm you want to exit, and then confirm you want to exit again. The menu interface feels a lot like playing Skyrim without SkyUI, where you can tell there are problems in the port quality.

    Nevertheless, it is a fun and enjoyable game. It is worth the buy, even if it is *far* from the greatest game ever made.    … Expand

I only went to Paleto Bay 2 times for mission purpose), lame music (can't blame Rockstar though), lame content (although better than IV, you still get bored very fast), lame atmosphere (I feel disconnected to the game - it is like watching a movie instead of playing as the characters in the game world). Not to mention the game was so bug ridden upon release I had to wait until update 5 to be able to play the game without problems. The only good thing about this game is graphics, that's all. Don't say anything about Online. Even Online has no content. It has only heists and races.
    When is Rockstar going back to make era games? That's what made GTA VC and SA so good. You feel like you are in another world. In GTA IV and V they are both set in modern times, so they have lame stories (not about epic war between mafia and gangs but always about boring FIB and IAA) and lame atmosphere (game set in the world we are living in is just not ideal, it's like watching an animation movie).
    I am looking forward to another GTA set in the classic Hollywood era like 50s San Francisco depicted in Vertigo (1958).    … Expand

May not sound too bad, but if you bought an expensive car, you loose severeal days of playing time in an instant, which is rather frustrating.
    The support took looong to reply to my crashes, but was helpful and polite, once they did.
    Minor things that are annoying are the typical port issues. You cant change the keybinding for the controller. And you cant put healing items and body armor on hotkeys. You have to scroll through 3 menus to do that, which is a pain in the ass in the middle of a firefight. It also doesnt seem to memorize my weapon layout. Have to reset it every time I start the game...
    If it weren't for those issues, I'd easily rate this an 8. I had some hilarious moments in online mode. I had a blast stealing a jet from the military base and bringing it downtown to wreak havoc.
    The coop missions become repetitive after a while, but the heists are insanely good. I wish they had less missions, but done with the passion that they put into those heists. If you enjoyed previous GTA titles and always wanted an online mode thats actually playing its cards right, then this game might be exactly what you waited for. It's a gamble though, if it runs for you. No matter if you have a high end pc or not.    … Expand

И это получается у игры. Ты начинаешь верить, что тебя ждёт что-то действительно масштабное, захватывающее. Игра ведь предлагает столько возможностей... Но потом ты раскрываешь эту конфетку, освобождаешь её от обертки, от прекрасного фантика и... обнаруживаешь абсолютную пустоту.

    Поначалу игрок может быть введён в заблуждение большим "открытым" миром, в котором он волен делать, что хочешь. И пока ты считаешь, что самое интересное в плане сюжета впереди, эти занятия даже привлекают. Ты бегаешь по карте, изучаешь окрестности, любуешься пейзажами, сменой погоды; стреляешь, охотишься, дерёшься, карабкаешься на горы, спасаешь туристов, ловишь грабителей, угоняешь машины и занимаешься их тюнингом и т.п. В процессе всего этого, ты задумываешься, надеешься, если сейчас так классно, то дальше должно быть еще лучше. Потом обнаруживается, что всё, что ты делаешь лежит на поверхности. Ты не можешь углубиться дальше. Все ситуации однообразны. Быстро надоедают. Да они без сюжета, без выбора и не интересны. Они бесцельны. В игре ты действуешь строго на поверхности. Войти можешь только в стрип-клуб. Про гаражи, магазины одежды и оружия не говорю. Там ты только покупаешь что-то. Никаких событий. В остальные места, в которые ты можешь войти, ты входишь только во время выполнения сюжетных заданий. И строго ограничен в своих действиях, движениях даже. На улице ты не можешь войти в любой дом, квартиру, там сделать что-нибудь. Не можешь прятаться в доме от полиции и т.д. Не можешь даже зайти в здания, принадлежащие твоему бизнесу. С прохожими на улице взаимодействие ограничено двумя действиями - с большинством ты можешь подраться, ограбить и т.п., а некоторым помочь. Всё. Никаких сторонних заданий, интересных событий. Нет ощущения "жизни". Более того, ты видишь именно всю искусственность данного мира. А это обстоятельство не позволяет, не даёт тебе вжиться в героя, переживать вместе с ним.
    В принципе, когда есть хороший, интересный, захватывающий сюжет, это, вышеобозначенное, обстоятельство играет роль, но уже не такую большую. А сюжета в этой игре, как такового интересного, захватывающего нет. Есть основная, вполне предсказуемая, линия сюжета. Есть притянутые "за уши" события. И всё. Игроку не даётся никакого выбора; никаких моральных, сложных выборов. Всё строго линейно. Там же, где этот выбор игроку предлагается, последний за собой не имеет ни каких более менее серьёзных сюжетных последствий. Кто-то может поспорить и возразить, мол ты волен делать, что хочешь, но, повторю, во-первых, это всё однообразно, быстро надоедает и поверхностно. Во-вторых, как только ты приступаешь к выполнению сюжетных заданий, тебя вгоняют в рамки и навязчиво, безапелляционно предлагают разные события, в которых ты абсолютно не волен что-то выбирать.
    Еще игра пытается за счёт затрагивания переживаний героев сделать сюжет более глубоким. Но это делается настолько уж очень поверхностно, наиграно, не правдоподобно, а в отдельных моментах откровенно грубо, что глубины сюжету не добавляет. Попытки героев философствовать на извечные темы добра и зла скорее добавляют комичности. Хотя и звучат из уст героев некоторые интересные мысли.
    Там где нет хорошего сюжета, выручает интересный игровой процесс. Он в игре есть. Но не во всех её аспектах. Те моменты, в которых он выступает интересным, к сожалению, не многочисленны. И потом повторяемостью уже просто надоедают. Перестрелки не такие захватывающие, как в Far Cry, на мой взгляд, хотя весьма интересны. Но их не много, к сожалению.
    Погони, задания на авто: как и во всех играх от Рокстар, убегающие или твои спутники весьма реактивны. Их ТС развивают максимальную скорость просто со старта.
    Сюжетная линия довольно быстро заканчивается. А после её окончания, делать в игре нечего. Все занятия еще до её завершения успевают надоедать. А без какой-то более высокой, важной, глобальной цели эти занятия становятся заурядными и бессмысленными.
    Вот и получается, по сути игра не предлагает ничего нового. Она не способна увлечь на долгие дни. И быстро приедается. Все предложенное ей весьма поверхностно, а копнуть в глубину, обнаруживаешь там пустоту.    … Expand

    A PS3/360 era port with retrofitted PC features. Obviously looks better on PC than it can on any console version, but it isn't as well optimized as it could be (57% CPU and 52% GPU usage but would still dive in some areas), but the game itself is largely a cutscene disguised with some throwaway gameplay (you spend a lot of time driving around listening to characters chat). Story is hit and miss, I always hold these mob storylines up to "The Sopranos" now and it falls pretty short of that bar. Gameplay is heavy on the hand-holding, flying a plane with a keyboard is pretty stiff, use a controller for that if you have the option. Don't know what the point of letting the player customize the characters clothing or vehicles is, as during the story they're always wearing and driving whatever it is Rockstar wanted them to be at that time.     If you hadn’t had a chance to play it yet at all though, and your computer can handle it, the PC version does definitely feel like the definitive version.

    We could not expect a better PC port PC for Grand Theft Auto V. Rockstar North, offers right from day one a huge game in optimized, widely scalable, and high impact graphics and the video editor, although not so easy to use, is an enjoyable addition.
