    Another good GTA game. Best GTA openworld we have seen yet, it might even be the greatest openworld of all time. Graphics are stunning. Gameplay doesn't get repetetive easily. Mission design are good. There are some thing that this game does wrong. This game is the easiest GTA ever made. Even for GTA standards this game is very easy. Optimization is awful as usual.     Teknik olarak çok iyi oyun, açık dünyasında dolaşmak keyifli. Ancak her göreve giderken dakikalarca araba sürmek bir yerden sonra sıkıyor. Araba sürme simülatörüne dönüşüyor. Bunun yanında shooter kısmı ve hikayesi ve bunu sunuş şekli başarılı.

    Story mode is nice there are some challenges and whatnot , open world is incredible i mean , there are things that you can't do in real world but GTA V gives an opportunity try that things. But there are some bugs drives me crazy and GTA online mode have so many cheaters and servers are not good.

    The singleplayer part is good in all aspects and it's definitely a masterpiece, but the multiplayer mode is just a grindy mess with no fun, if you want to enjoy this game,singleplayer mode is my cup of tea.

According to the plot itself, here we have the main tasks are to prepare bank robberies and the very implementation of the robbery. There will be missions with theft, murder, kidnapping, property damage (all in the style of Rockstar) The game is full of extras.activities. We'll talk about this later.     игра хороша, открытый мир, транспорт, оружие, выглядит гармонично, онлайн фанерный , играю только из за того что можно крутые тачки тюнинговать и кататься, сюжет лучше, НО, хочу сказать, что лучшая часть сюжета это ни конец и даже не середина и не ограбления, лучшее это самое начало, все миссии хороши , до того момента , пока тревор не решается приехать к майклу, миссии уже ни одна кигра хороша, открытый мир, транспорт, оружие, выглядит гармонично, онлайн фанерный , играю только из за того что можно крутые тачки тюнинговать и кататься, сюжет лучше, НО, хочу сказать, что лучшая часть сюжета это ни конец и даже не середина и не ограбления, лучшее это самое начало, все миссии хороши , до того момента , пока тревор не решается приехать к майклу, миссии уже ни одна к одной , хороши да красивы, НЕТ, надо выбирать и иногда уговаривать проходить миссию, а не пропускать, безусловно есть и крутые, но вот это начало, про банды и район у майкла, бизнес и захолустье у тревора, реально расслабляющая часть игры. Н скажу что после сюжета делать нечего! просто нажмите кнопку "delete" либо как я проходите заново ради удовольствия от первых миссий, игра хороша по физике, графике, звуку, харизме некоторых персонажей, но не после сюжета, скажу только что после титров эмоции бурлят, кстати о прологе, все сначала странно и непонятно, но потом выясняешь правду про майкла и бреда, про агента и подставное задание, как майкл подставил всех, а задание "зарыть топор войны" , я считаю шедевром, когда едешь на машине и слушаешь флэшбэки то это так погружает в сюжет.
    Короче резюмирую, первое прохождение- эмоции, радость , восхищение. Дальше уже играешь ради отчивок, для того что бы распробовать. Если вы хотите бандитские разборки но при этом много разных заданий с фбр , подстав, резких поворотов сюжета, то игра для вас! Играйте на здоровье!    … Expand

At the begging in 2014/15 it was awesome and i had so much fun. The basic story revolves around three characters Franklin, Trevor, and Michael who can go miles to gain respect and money in the underworld. As with all the GTA franchise, this is also an open-world game and with a huge map and tons of interacting things to do.

    From GTA IV its a huge leap jump in case of interaction of character to other stuff in the world, although there are things which GTA IV did better than V is attention to details and physics, not saying it has gone bad, but the change of physics engine was probably not the exact right move by Rockstar.
    The storyline is very interesting and there are tons of side missions to do in the game but the main highlight of the game is "GTA Online" a place with a strong community where Rockstar shines, also with regular updates of tweaks and twerks GTA V never gets boring and can easily compete new AAA titles. Then, the question comes if to recommend this game in 2021, well the answer is, Why not! The community is still strong and Rockstar is still working on it actively. Hoping for a banger with GTA VI and the expectations are off the roof , well just hope it does not end up like Cyberpunk 2077.    … Expand

    Grand theft auto is fun to play. The open world is fun to play around in and it really does feel alive. My one gripe with the game is it's story and characters. i just did not connect with the characters and story at all. Some of the story missions are fun but that's it.

    I have only played the single-player part of the game and I loved it. I loved roaming freely in my car with good music that you could choose from on the radio. The missions were really enjoyable. I liked that there were multiple endings. Very good optimization.

But even with these criticisms, this game has a fun, great story mode and has the potential to be very fun with a group of friends.… Expand

    After the long wait, PC-gamers get what they have been hoping for. We cannot deny it; the PC is the best way to experience GTA V. Rockstar optimised the game perfectly, and we are happy to start our third and forth play-throughs.

You can run this with great settings on high end hardware or you can turn everything right down and run this on hardware from years ago. The online multiplayer is terrible and on the PC version you should check out FiveM. Its a 3rd party multiplayer client (You must own GTA V for it to work).     But single player GTA has all sorts of fun stuff to check out and loads of side missions as well. You have days of entertainment with this game. Its sad that rockstar hasn't bought out any DLC campaigns like GTA IV had the episodes. If rockstar bought out DLC campaigns and charged £20 or something for them then this would be amazing.    … Expand

    One of the most anticipated games ever. I counted down every day before the release (which was pushed back several times) and in the end I was happy with the final product. Unfortunately, success of GTA Online killed any chance for single player DLC and in 2021 there's still no sign of GTA 6.

Even in 2022 many developers are unable to develop mechanics so polished as Rockstar did back then. On the other hand, I felt disappointed with the plot. Maybe it was engaging during the first playthrough in 2013 when I was a small teenager, but now it feels...GTA V is surely an exhilarating game. On the other hand, I felt disappointed with the plot. Maybe it was engaging during the first playthrough in 2013 when I was a small teenager, but now it feels... childish, I guess? Of course, the campaign has its good moments, but in majority of time it simply is mediocre. However, we shouldn't expect a decent plot from GTA series. Or should we? Rockstar managed to deliver mature, enthralling plot in GTA IV and its successor simply falls behind. What is more, the Online mode is not my cup of tea. I understand why so many people may like it, but it does not hook me. It has numerous problems and I believe that it is a bad direction for Rockstar, as they are world-class in terms of single-player games and it would be sad to destroy this reputation with focusing on online modes. That being said, when treating GTA V solely as a sandbox, it deserves a clear 10, but other mentioned aspects of the game were disappointing after all those years. Despite those flaws I would definitely recommend to play this game - the marvellous reviews were not taken out of thin air and even though I have some complaints regarding this entry, it is still a top tier game.… Expand

    Great game if you like a long and interesting story. On the other side there is a multiplayer where you spend hundreds of hour or spend money on "shark cards. No recommendation for the multiplayer. Overall the game design felt like a step backwards from GTA IV

    It's definitely a very good game. There's no point in discussing it now. I just like the GTA 4 more for some personal reasons. Story side of the GTA 5 was not so good but the gameplay side is much better. Even if a new game doesn't come, GTA 5 is a good enough game to sell and play for many more years.

    Cons:

    - Partly extremely strange mandatory missions, an example would be the mission where Michael smokes weed and then has to kill a whole bunch of aliens. I really don't understand why this is mandatory because it has 0 to do with the story xD
    - Partly side mission compulsion. Often had the problem that no main mission came and I therefore had to do side missions so that the main missions continue. Makes the flow of the game somewhat broken.

    Pros:

    - The story was relatively interesting. Somehow the story kept me playing the game as fast as possible.
    - The graphics are still very good, considering the age of the game.
    - Large selection of vehicles
    - Very busy world, also with animals in forests/wild areas etc.
    - Fun, varied and also challenging missions.
    - More variety with the 3 different main characters Trevor, Michael and Franklin. This did not exist in other GTA parts before.

    All in all, GTA 5 is a really nice game that I can recommend to everyone.    … Expand

    Its exactly what you'd expect from a Grand Theft Auto Game.

    Good graphics, fun game play, not the greatest story in the world. It doesn't rise to the heights of San Andreas but it also doesn't disappoint. It has a solid case of consolitis, but manages to be acceptable on PC if an afterthought.

    GTA V is a good game. It has got a good story. The multiplayer is probably the reason why it still has such high numbers of players. The amount of missions and heists makes it even better. Unfortunately, in many online rounds there are hackers who just annoy other players.

    I owned the GTA V first day of launch and sadly finished story mode in almost 7 years. Never played online mode.

    World and population in game is the best in open world genre. But story isn't as good as the interaction level and overall quality of game.

    I must say characters and design is superior.

    With GTA V, Rockstar seem to have proven as de-facto that they do not have much competence at PC game-making, as the UI in GTA V is pretty hodgepodge thrown together, the minigame controls that come up in GTA V missions are very erratic / inconsistent, and accessibility for things in GTA V can be really non-intuitive, and not in line with expected functionality. Rockstar seems to clearly be a console developer who has made an effort for the PC version, but have little familiarity with the PC gaming experience. A lot of their design choices in GTA V are abysmal, and beneath average usability. They need to get their heads out of their own asses, and open their eyes and figure their sh*t out better. Maybe they're expecting a free pass without doing the proper work owed.

    The city of San Andreas is very nice, but it feels like GTA V doesn't make enough use of it. There is a lot less of a feeling of exploiting every opportunity in GTA V than there is in GTA San Andreas. GTA V is just a lot more normal than GTA San Andreas, and maybe that's why they made the Trevor character - to compensate for lacking an innate creative zaniness in the writing, mission design, overall main story. But as the player, I've wanted to kill Trevor off all along, and don't enjoy playing as him, or his contribution to the story.

    I think that the character Trevor doesn't work.The character Trevor is crazy, but RS don't seem to have known what they were trying to accomplish by it, and it feels a bit as though it was done just to see what it was like, or just to grab people's attention with vapid shock value. Having better design in the game would instead be a satisfying player draw, and Trevor seems gimmicky.

    The story in GTA V feels a bit mundane, and it makes the individual mission shine less, and have less sense of important purpose within them. Kind of feels like like just dealing with things while nothing more interesting is going on.

    The GTA V mission design is all criss-crossed across the map, so it's not like GTA San Andreas, where you'll have a bunch of mission development in an area - instead, GTA V has the player driving not especially interesting distances between each mission, and it's reducing of engagement. Maybe RS had fewer missions and tried to stretch out the playtime with this design. Whatever their reason, relying on such a tactic doesn't help the game, but makes it clear that a lack of design quality is present.

    GTA V is OK, the graphics are good - but RS hasn't employed as masterful a touch in this product as they did in GTA San Andreas, and some things in GTA V feel like RS were trying to hide recognition of that by using noisy distractions.

    I hope RS start earning their reputation again, rather than riding on it.    … Expand

    I really appreciate the time they took to make the PC version of this game robust. If not for that, I'd have hit this game with a lower rating. They did a great job making it run well. That said:

    The multiplayer is plagued with problems, a confused system of punishments for playing the game the way it's meant to be played, and not punishing users that harass each other, a gross lack of anti-cheat measures as bad as the DayZ mod, and a horrific grind to unlock anything in an effort to encourage you to spend even more money on in-game cash.

    However, cruising around the city, blowing up AI pedestrians with rocket launchers and causing general mayhem is as polished as ever. A good game to just fool around in.    … Expand

The game tone: until now, few days after finishing the game, I can not find the essence: was it serious, was it joke, was it drama or comedy? I do not care for multiplayer, I only started it once, only to find that city is dead, and some punk chasing and shooting me from heli with automatic weapon. There is maybe more than that but I did not care. The meter that is never wrong to me is: I like the game then I can not stop playing it. I do not like the game, I need to force myself to play it. Giving the game a 0 score because you live in an area with bad internet and the game is 60gb is unacceptable and quite frankly stupid.

One of the most fun aspects of the previous games to me was having multiple safehouses I could not only duck into and lay low, but also to store cars at. You only get 1 to 2 safehouse per character and they can only be used by those characters, and they are default given to you based on the story. Lame lame lame

    -Clothing options suck. There are only really 3 different clothing stores, and you can't even buy the same clothes for all the characters. You also can only pair certain shoes with certain pants, which makes it way harder than it needs to be to form a cool outfit, especially for characters like Franklin who when they go into the "nice" clothing store, can only buy Chinos as pants, which aren't able to pair with the "nice" shoes. in fact there are no "nice" pants you can buy for him, rather you have to buy a full suit, but if you want to get any of the cool sports coats or jackets, you can't wear any good pairs of shoes with them because since it is not a full suit you are forced to wear chinos or other pants (none of which are allowed to pair with nice shoes)

    -The missions become lame after a while. They go from making me feel like an action start, to just fighting against the controls of the game to to tedious tasks. Flying missions are all horrible and unfun, as are many of the sidequest.

    -It is unclear the difference between "pocket money" and "bank money". You keep getting these emails that show you are collecting revenue, but it is a pain to try and figure out where this money actually is. After googling for several days and posing questions on forums I finally figured out where it is.

    -The swimming controls are horrid, and make zero sense. Why is the jump key by default the same as the dive key? And why should I have to google how to swim up every time I'm caught underwater losing breath because it's insanely overcomplicated to figure out how to swim back to the surface? So many unfun incredibly anger inducing deaths have come from drowning.

    -Michael and Trevor's powers are too similar. They are essentially the same thing, "Be good at combat". Why not diversify and make one of them good at parkour or something? Have Franklin be the driver, Trevor be the crazy gun guy, and Michael be the physical specimen that can jump over huge distance, run fast, climb walls, basically specialize in getting away via foot, and also be really good at hand combat with special moves and such.

    -In general there's nothing good to spend your money on. You can spend money on property, which you can't even enter or customize, it just makes you more money or gives you unfun non descript missions to undertake. All the guns are cheap and ammo is cheaper. The clothing is limited and not done well. There are no safehouses to buy cool mansions or lots of various ones to just have around the city. Spending money on cars is useless because the characters just have their default vehicles and there are only like 2 or 3 garages per character, and most missions will erase your car randomly so... yeah

    -Lack of heists. Come on, you know we want to do the heists mainly. You get to do one at the beginning of the game, and it leads you to believe there will be many with this whole explanation of choice of characters and gaining experience. In the end it really just doesn't matter at all, and you go through suuuuch a long drought in the game where you never even get the opportunity to pull a heist after the first one (you even get teased with a heist where you can't choose any of the characters, and get no actual reward from it)

    -No way to choose a set of outfits your characters can be found in. They always make the characters look like idiots, why can't I lock in the set of outfits that they can randomly be found in? Such a simple thing that can add so much more fun to the game.    … Expand

    My next biggest complaint is how stripped down the world seems outside of missions compared to previous games in the franchise. I know that is because they are trying to funnel people to the online heist mode. I know this is their big focus because the most recent 0.5 gig patch made the base game run slightly worse and looking at the patch notes, it was all new stuff for the online mode.    … Expand

    Initially I loved the game. After first ~15 hrs it felt like 10/10. Graphics were great, optimization amazing, fun gameplay and I loved implementation of 1st person perspective.

    The more I played the more flaws I saw. I liked the characters at first but as the story continues I realized how little personality they have. Franklin earns some money, moves to a fancy house and then his story pretty much ends. Michael has several problems with his family which leads to a bunch of different missions. The problem is - his family is quite horrible, I hated his wife and stupid kids. I get it - he loves them and wants to help them, but I couldn't care less about these characters, which made all those missions extra boring.
    Trevor felt like the most interesting character out of those 3. But then we witness him doing something awfully stupid. One good thing - his missions are most fun, lots of versatility, creativity.

    Overall there are too many missions that simply aren't very interesting. All the set-up missions for heists are terrible. I'd like to see more missions that include flying as well.

    Side activities.
    There are plenty and that's it. Shooting range was fun, I enjoyed hunting and... that's it. You don't get any decent rewards for them and they are not fun enough to just keep doing them.

    You can buy some busineses. They cost plenty, award you with some crapy mini-missions and give you lousy income. Basically, they're a waste of time.

    Earning money is difficult outside of main missions, but on the other hand there's nothing to spend it on. Forget about buying houses (not worth it) or cars (you will be stuck with personal vehicles anyway), so after you buy some guns and upgrades for personal vehicles, you're done.

    Walking around and exploring works for a while then it gets old. There's only a few "random" encounters, you won't find any cool hidden items. Best thing I found was a bunch of topless ladies near some pool, behind a fancy house.

    There's plenty of things to do in GTA 5, but only very few of them I found entertaining and actually worth doing. The main story and characters are in my opinion significantly worse than in previous GTA games.
    Overrated game but still can be enjoyable for a while. Get it when it goes on a sale.

    For Online, I suggest you download FiveM or GTA Network so that you can play on other servers, than on the main Rockstar servers (for the time-being). You can you FiveM/GTA Network or you can create a private lobby from the 'Online' tab and just do heist/races in that lobby with your friends. Other than that, the base Online game is filled with hackers sadly. For a 3+ year old game, you would think they would invest money into making a anti-cheat instead of making pointless updates.

    Warning; as of March 2017, you can't transfer your Online character from console to PC or PC to console. So, with that being said. You will need to start all over if you planned on merging your PS4/Xbox One character to PC. It's not possible anymore. It's funny how Rockstar can still put GTA V at the $60 price point (not worth it, get it on sale (maybe $30)), but yet they can't support a small but great feature.    … Expand

In this regard, the best of the series is San Andreas. You could go to the gym to work out so that your character looked more muscular. You could eat junk food to get fat.     So this game amazing id give it a 9/10 for when it was released for the 1st time. now i'm giving it a 7/10 because the charge you $59.99 USD AGAIN for THE SAME GAME. the only difference is First person and better graphics. is the game really worth $60 again for just 1st person no. is it worth $60 if you don't have the game hell yeah (if you get it for next gen)

    The missions are a lot more cinematic, graphics are fantastic and the city seems so much more alive, though this is the hardest I think I've heard my GTX760 work since I bought it. Heh.

    Now... as I said, I caught myself looking for the money cheat pretty early. First because I was tired of Michael and Homey and second because after running the city outside of the story I realized that, despite all of the improvements, the graphics, the new functionality, the new cars and whatnot...despite all of it... IT WAS THE SAME GAME!!! All you can really do when not following the story is happy slap civilians, steal their cars and take their money.

    It's GTA: Return to San Andreas.

    Also, I'm from L.A. and the work they did on the city is excellent. It really feels like Los Angeles but the way they manage it is modelling parts of the city almost exactly, putting all the models in a box, shaking it, dumping it on the table and connecting them all as they fall. It's grating. You can't tell which direction you're going but you recognize all the landmarks. It really does get tiresome. If you're not from L.A. it's not a problem.

    Any score lower than 4 and higher than 7 is bs coming from anyone who's played the previous GTA installments (3 - San Andreas). Someone new to GTA should be thrilled but there shouldn't be anywhere near as many user-rated 10s.    … Expand

    So, San Andreas was awesome, GTA IV was same (to me).     - Never got cuffed by the police (not sure if you can actually I think they just shoot you down)
    - 3 characters looked extremely fun at the beginning, but then, if you think about it, you dont immerge in the game at all.
    - Kind of small map, especially if compared to San Andreas, you only got the city and the highlands, ant that's it.
    - Except for the ending, you cant really decide anything in this game.
    - I waited almost 48 hrs for it to download... kept having problems with a continuous download of 60 FREAKING GB of game slowing down your pc.

    Im not totally disappointed, I mean, the game is still fun as all GTA are. But I really can't say this game will remain in my personal game story.    … Expand

    As mentioned previously, The story lacks criminality. A few heists, a few short missions, and not much else is what you get for criminality. In the previous games you were a Hitman, you worked for the mob, or you were a gangster. None of the 3 main characters fit in these spots. Honestly, I don't like any of the 3 main characters. They lack any personality and are boring cliche's. The story in this game ends rather abruptly, And the end game content is absolutely dreadful. If you love hundreds of boring fetch quests with no reward ( They literally give you $1 for completing one of them ) Enjoy! You have to do this for %100 game completion.
    GTA 5 I find is a direct slap in the face from Rockstar to its previous fans. CJ's house is no longer on Grove st, The Balla's own Grove st now, and this is never explained in the story. This is a direct slap in the face to ANYONE who played San Andreas. The story in this game is absolutely terrible, and wins the worst story of the franchise.

    The Police in this game are broken, and still are broken, and will remain broken. The Police helicopters magnetically follow you around, they crash into objects, they see you through tunnels and underground, a new one spawns the instant you blow it up, and the police on board rarely miss their shots. The police will attack you for the smallest of things, and you can get a wanted level even from sniping someone in the middle of nowhere with a silencer. The police cruisers will even go as far as driving up a mountain to attack you. While the police needed to be more difficult, They went way over board with the cops.

    This is the largest game in the franchise, and they've crammed detail into every corner of the map. Although the mountains have terrible spawnpoints in multiplayer, your bound to find something interesting every so often.

    If you're looking for "Best in the Franchise" aspects to this game, Look to the general mechanics. The shooting is drastically improved for the better and many more guns have been added into the game. The cars and driving are far better then any of the previous games, and car modification is absolutely perfect. The graphics are also vastly improved. These are the award worthy aspects of the game.

    GTA Online, Rubbish since Day one. I've already reviewed GTA Online individually, So I will just give you a shorter version of this.
    GTA Online is cancerous. The community is toxic, the PvP is broken by DLC vehicles, and the game will take ingame money from you wherever possible. GTA Online is packed to the brim with cheaters, and the best Rockstar can do is ban them for 2 weeks, along with the people who mod singleplayer, only to have them come back with their cheats 2 weeks later. R* support is like talking to a wall, Don't bother. They don't care. Don't step into this turd.

    Let it be known that this is NOT the best game in the franchise. Play San Andreas, Play Vice City, Play GTA 3, and take the R* beer goggles off. If you enjoy going on random rampages and exploring, go for it. This game is for you. But in general, this game was over hyped, and doesn't live up to the title of "Best Grand Theft Auto" or even "Best Game".    … Expand

I play it for the story and this time Rockstar did not deliver, the story and characters are just shallow and is all over the place. It really doesn't know whatOverrated. Simply put, in my opinion this game does not deserve the praise it gets. I'll begin by saying this is a fantastic open world game and is truly a delight to roam around, but this is personally what I don't play GTA for. I play it for the story and this time Rockstar did not deliver, the story and characters are just shallow and is all over the place. It really doesn't know what it is, is it a serious story or is it simply satire (bad satire)? I personally enjoyed GTA IV's much more and even GTA Vice City's (which was reasonably simple). I also feel the game itself is pretty soulless, even more soulless than other GTA games, another huge flaw in my opinion.

    The PC Port is ok, however there was a problem that made this game a little less enjoyable than it should be and that's the constant FPS drops whilst driving/flying, it's far too jarring to not be a complaint. Every couple of seconds I'll get drops from 90fps to 40fps (keep in mind, none of the settings change this, I even played on low and the problem still persisted). My graphics card is a GTX 970 and I have an Intel i5 3450 and 16GB RAM, more than capable to play this game at High+ settings. Some lucky souls have got this game working fine, however the majority have experienced these FPS drops.

    The multiplayer is also total **** with modders all over the place and FPS drops being even more persistent. Rockstar have also developed the multiplayer in such a way that to save up for certain vehicles/houses, you have to buy micro-transactions or you grind away for a couple of days (which is extremely tedious).

    Overall it's a very fun game with a jaw-dropping open world, but it has a very weak story which is very odd for a GTA game. Simply not my cup of tea, I much prefer GTA IV.    … Expand

Character wise, the agenda is palpable; The white southerner is a depraved murderous maniac, The italian-american is a mobster, and the black kid is a walking vegetable. Overall, the game promotes amorality, pornography, violence by the truckloads. In fact, I'd be curious to research on the ethnic/religious background of the writers and producers. As it is the case with agenda products, the game is very well produced, and the audio-visual realization is great; The world feels alive.     I expected a great RPG in GTA 5 but got the okayish RPG. The side missions aren't anything to write home about nor is there any story DLC post game launch. It released one and half year later on PC and rockstar still slapped 60$ price tag on it. There could have been a bit more heists and side missions could have been a lot more better.     Kudos for a detailed Game world and main story, rest everything needs improvement including the graphics. Some of the titles released in 2014-2015 had very beautiful graphics like Shadow of Mordor, Assassin's creed black flag, Assasin's creed Unity(the game was a mess but the graphics was undoubtedly great) etc.... GTA 5 graphics in comparison to that looks pretty dated.    … Expand

    Not sure what the hype was all about. Its a good game, played around 81 hours with 94% completed. Its predecessor GTA 4 is among my top games ever. It might be true that GTA 4 didn't deserve the 10 it had at its time, but GTA 5 in certain aspects doesn't even come close to GTA 4, especially in story-line, immersion(having a big world with lots of vehicles and lots of things to do doesn'tNot sure what the hype was all about.     All I can say is simply meh. It's not the best game I've ever played, not the worst. It's graphics look horrible on Ultra, it plays more or less fine, but it's just not an amazing game. The only reason I can see really reccomendin it is because it's *supposedly* 40 hours long and the soundtrack is good.

    If you know me; you know im all about my GTA and my Fallout.

    I was really worried that playing three mains, in this title, would break immersion for me and i was thankfully wrong. The story is grand and picks on pop culture like its his little brother, character are filled out and great. I have no real complaints about the story mode.. So i guess you wonder why the 7??     I have no real complaints about the story mode.. So i guess you wonder why the 7?? Well.. online; The one game i thought would crossover into online greatly did just the opposing.

    -Load times make me feel like im wasting my time.
    -Players at time can ruin the entire experience.

    The single player game is more of the same with somewhat arbitrary mission failed bs. If you like this type of thing, great. Personally, I found Saints Row 3/4 much more forgiving, flexible, and fun in regard to mission structure. Obviously, ymmv.     As someone that didn't play the console version of gta 5 at all, for me its a solid 7/10.

The visuals are dated compared to a game like watch dogs and honestly they require way too much horsepower to run for the framerate to get as low as it does. Watch    As someone that didn't play the console version of gta 5 at all, for me its a solid 7/10.

    My personal gripes with the game for why I gave it that score:

    1. The loading times in multiplayer are a constant annoyance.
    2. The visuals are dated compared to a game like watch dogs and honestly they require way too much horsepower to run for the framerate to get as low as it does. Watch dogs maxed out gets 80-100 fps maxed out, This game? I've seen it go as low as 25 on a gtx 980 in some areas.
    3. Heist missions online are very fun however replaying them isn't, as 90% of my time is worrying about other people doing their jobs correctly rather than actually enjoying the mission itself.
    4. First person mode was definitely overrated and I find myself constantly switching back to the 3rd person mode instead. It just doesn't feel fluid and even with the FoV setting maxed out it feels wonky and limiting, the weapon position itself feels off as well.
    5. The pc helicopter controls are as bad as gta 4. The design wasn't improved at all.
    6. Still way too many buildings that have no interiors. It really kills immersion for me in this world when 98% of the buildings and houses you see around you cannot be accessed. I was really hoping to be able to break into houses or something this time around to do robbery jobs or something like that but sadly that isn't an option at all. Would have been a great side-activity for online as well. The games world itself just feels too limited to the street which was the same problem GTA 4 had. You see all these great looking buildings and houses and can't access any of it.

    Maybe someone can do a mod that opens up some of these houses/buildings. I realize that its a lot of work doing interiors, especially interiors with multiple levels, but still it shouldn't have been THIS restricted like gta 4 was and they could have enhanced it further over gta 4 by adding some side-activity to go along with it like robbery jobs.    … Expand

    Well, I really like GTA games. I also liked this one. But everyone says that it's a great game. I don't really see anything so great about this. There are many Open world games. Whatever, This is not even a bad game. It has a great amount of fun and good graphics. But it's story is a stupid. 7/10 for it.

    We could not expect a better PC port PC for Grand Theft Auto V. Rockstar North, offers right from day one a huge game in optimized, widely scalable, and high impact graphics and the video editor, although not so easy to use, is an enjoyable addition.
