    There's a reason that a decade later people are still playing GTA 5. The world, characters, driving, mods, heist story, online mode. There is so much to do and all of it is good.

    One of the best and most varied games of this century. Great gameplay, a great story, great characters. Who has not played the game missed something. 11/10 !

    Although the game did not quite live up to its hype, it did provide me with a great deal of entertainment. Excellent writing, superb voice acting, and wonderful game mechanics are marred only by the mundane things that the game sets before the player. Who wants to drive through traffic in a car once you have driven about in a tank? Nevertheless, it is an A- game is still well worth playing.

    I've been waiting for what seems like forever to play this game. I don't play consoles, so it finally feels good to experience the game via PC. Love the gorgeous graphics/lighting,great voice acting,Franklin/Michael/Trevor dynamic,nasty language,sweet rides/customizations,hilarious comments,radio stations/music,heists,video editor & the many things-to-do. No crashes and fps are good for my GPU.

    Seems to be causing severe technical problems for some (crashes), and others are happy. I'm one of the happy, optimization is very slick work, which can't be said about many AAA titles that are not even ports. This game runs silky smooth, considering how complex Los Santos is.     Hard freezes, bsods, and garbage crossfire support. The same kind of issues that gta 4 had bring down a great game to a mediocre port. Voice acting is great but the characters leave a lot to be desired. Side activities are numerous but not much fun.

    Revised review. The game is broken and shows its shallow surface the more you play. It requires more realism, more interesting characters and a more interesting story.

    I'm happy I started to pre-load early (mine was done by Saturday before release) so apart from an hours install and patch I was off and running. I've    Game of the century for the PC in my opinion. I bought a PS3 just to play it when it came out, and the PC version is a big step up in graphics quality, loading times, and the extra next gen features are the candles on the cake for me.

    I'm happy I started to pre-load early (mine was done by Saturday before release) so apart from an hours install and patch I was off and running. I've taken most of this week off of work and done nothing but play it.

    Also enjoying GTA Online with friends, again the PC version just seems so much more better.

    I am running this on my i7 system with a GTX970 at very high settings and the game is smooth as it can get. I haven't had one single crash. One of the games where it's evident they really wanted to make a good version for PC and not just a halfa$$ port.
    I don't have too much to complain about this game, in fact I once stated this is probably the most impressive and possibly "the best" game of all times. And this should mean something. The only issue I have is that the scope of the game is just massive (aka: too much too see and to do.. :) and that getting through the story does not feel as "connected" as in previous GTA titles and you're sometimes stumbling not knowing what to do next...unless you then check the map to see where you can go to continue with the story. I had the impression that with former titles, getting through the story felt more "guided", while the scope/size of this game is just so big you can lose track on occasion. But maybe that's just me.
    Ultimately, I'd say that this game ALONE would be worth it someone buying or building a high-end PC. Most negative reviews I am seeing don't make any sense.    … Expand

    The best tweaking options ever. My 2-year old PC (about PS4-level) ran GTA4 at 15-25 FPS, but GTA5 runs at 30-45 FPS despite higher resolution and intenser graphical settings. I would've liked an explanation of each buzzword (instead of just VRAM cost, which doesn't perfectly translate to FPS). My recommendation: turn off MSAA, turn down Post-Processing, but leave Shadows on "very high" (so moving headlights will cast shadows) and Grass on "high" (for foliage immersion).

    PRESENTATION: 10
    (Story - 9): Dialogue and characterization is so excellent it encourages progression even during simple taxi missions. Mike and Trevor are equally psychotic, but Mike feels guilty and Trevor hates that hypocrisy, an interaction paralleled by the Franklin-Lamar relationship. Franklin will compromise his morals for money. Trevor's in it for fun (nothing the player can do as him is "out of character"), and might snap and kill Mike at any time. It's great. My only quibble is how the GTA4:TLAD characters are treated.
    (Graphics - 10): Numbers changes used to designate engine changes, but GTA5 is GTA4 with tweaks. The level of detail is amazing, with thousands of little touches: roof lights when you enter cars, gorgeous sunsets, how distant lights halo out at night, smoke/dust effects, etc. Shifting reflections on your car hood and moving shadows do more to create a sense of speed when driving than any motion blur could.
    (Physics - 9): The Euphoria engine that procedurally blends animations with ragdoll physics (for humans and animals) makes for glorious car crashes and shootouts. I love how enemies can ragdoll and still get back up, so you have to confirm kills.
    (Audio - 7): Good music, probably not at GTA:VC or GTA:SA level.
    (Force Feedback - 7): You feel things like the rough of a freeway, but less in 3rd- than 1st-person view, and I prefer more frequent rumbling.

    CONTROL - 9
    It's seamless, loading only on starting. 1st-person view on foot is recommended, 3rd when driving, and it remembers each preference separately. The interface is clean and functional, and time slows when you switch weapons or change radio stations. The game auto-detects when a controller is connected and accepts either input.
    GTA is built on open-world driving and shooting. The new element is shifting between the three characters at will. In one mission, one was flying a helicopter, another shooting out the back of it, and the third sniping from a nearby roof, all working in concert to avoid and take out chasing copters. Each character has a special ability, like slowing time or invincibility. Friendly AI is amazing; it can competently shoot AND drive (eat your heart out, Halo), to the point where, on one stealth mission with sniper cover, I kept switching and yelling "no, let ME do the fun stuff" at whichever AI I wasn't controlling.
    (Shooting - 7): Shooting is good, especially in first-person. I miss visible gas tank covers on cars from GTA:SA (you can still aim near the left rear wheel, but you have to guess). The worst part is that, unlike GTA4, NPC's now drive off when you aim at them. In GTA4 you could threaten a driver out of a car, which was better gameplay than just pressing a carjack button; now, even if you shoot them, they slump on the gas pedal and drive off.
    (Driving - 10): Vehicle physics have improved massively from GTA4. GTA4 cars felt slow, ruining what had been the best vehicular "feel" in all of videogames. Driving is now at the GTA 3/VC/SA/MidnightClubStreetRacing perfection level. You can do donuts again. Flight controls are similarly great, the equal of GTA:SA's, but now with wind buffeting your copters/planes. Parachuting works great and I liked the bullseye-landings side missions.
    Due to the constant rolling 3D waves, the water physics are now the best in any videogame (including Wave Race and AC4:Black Flag). Whereas Ubisoft claims it couldn't put online sailing multiplayer in any of the three Assassins Creed sailing games (3, 4 and Rogue) because it was "too hard" to standardize their water physics, Rockstar's GTA5 supports 8-player jetski races with the full 3D rolling waves and seaspray.
    (Melee - 3): Fistfighting is not improved, disappointing given how common it is. You can only attack or dodge-then-counterattack, and sadly the physics engine doesn't differentiate one fistfight from another.

    DESIGN - 8
    You can replay missions (including most side missions) from a menu, and time of day autoshifts forward where appropriate on triggering a mission, but for some reason neither statement applies to street races. Sadly, every mission design has been repeated from past GTA's.
    GTA:Online Races and Deathmatches work fine, but Heists never will because they aggravatingly fail whenever any player dies. But singleplayer is huge (40+ hours) and well worth it alone.    … Expand

While the game world may not be as diverse as San Andreas', it's still a lot more interesting than GTA IV's Liberty City. Exploration is almost impossible to resist and you'll find yourself just driving around the world doing random activities between missions,The ultimate open-world game is back. Exploration is almost impossible to resist and you'll find yourself just driving around the world doing random activities between missions, or just seeing what distractions this version of San Andreas has to offer. The missions are fun, the different playable characters keep things interesting, and the graphics, while not mind blowing, are a big step up from GTA IV. Performance-wise, if you have even a half-decent graphics card and a CPU that can run modern games then you'll be playing at 60 FPS easily. I'd even go as far to say that this is the best PC port this generation. Just a word of warning, you're going to at least need 1 gigs of VRAM to just play the game. Anything less will simply not be enough, and at the time of writing there is a memory leak issue, so make sure you have at least 6 gigs of RAM and have your page file enabled (if you don't you're going to run into constant crashes).     GTA V can satisfy me after a long wait after GTA IV.

    3 characters with different personalities, choice of vehicle is increasingly diverse, the better gameplay and a good story. But I think the story mode should be made even longer.

    For multiplayer mode is very fun to play repeatedly. Never get bored, especially for mission heist. This game deserves to be bought.

    I almost gave this a ten because it is an almost perfect game with so much to do. The story is great, graphics are incredible, and just about everything else you can think of is carefully crafted. However, Rockstar seems to not be interested in expanding the base single-player experience and instead have focused on trying to push their horrible, grinding multi-player (probably so you spendI almost gave this a ten because it is an almost perfect game with so much to do.     I am inspired by the work into optimization Rockstar has put into this

    I mean.... in EVERY situation it runs at 60 FPS with my 7970 CF setup

    The game itself is amazing as always

    Really worth the 60 dollars

    Awesome single player. Lots of fun, immersive quests that will keep you coming back for more. Not really a fan of playing 3 different characters and going back and forth, but not a big deal. 9/10.

    That being said, multiplayer is bad. It has microtransactions that give people who pay quite an advantage over those who don't. Need I say more? 0/10.

    Runs amazing on my machine. Single player is great, didn't have any issues.

    On GTA V I've ran into a few bugs like camera getting locked while doing a Last Man Standing or the game freezing up when I'm driving into my garage. Besides that it's a great game. Rockstar did a great job at porting this game over to PC.

    i am sure by now most people have played the story at least once so there is no need to dwell on that again, however if you haven't you should give it a play through but if your course of action is to have a fun playground to do what ever you want in then you have still come to the right place,

    GTA on line works first time, logged in booted up. and there i was my xbox one caricature standing in my apparent with all the cars i had already purchased from previous time spent with gta. my blue and white trim zentorno ready to take the streets by storm,

    you can scale this game all the way down to 360 quality and all the way up to beyond what the average machine can handle on a single card at least, still i am still running the GTX titan with everything on ultra at 30fps
    just knocking a very small selection of settings down i gained 15 frames one more tweak and i was running at a locked 60 with no stutters issues or anything

    Well done R* you manage to make an great game better each time you re release it,,

    no go and port RDR to pc now please    … Expand

The game is truly great, but the modding community is now being attacked by rockstar? I can't even use my trainer mod in single player now, and my FOV mod doesn't work, nor does my police mod (LSPDFR). All these mods don't even work in multiplayer, butI mainly bought GTA V on the PC so that I could play with my friends, since they all have PCs and not Xboxs, and also for the mods. The game is truly great, but the modding community is now being attacked by rockstar? I can't even use my trainer mod in single player now, and my FOV mod doesn't work, nor does my police mod (LSPDFR).     Game seems well optimized and looks stunning running at 2550x1440. On a GTX 970 I'm getting between 45-60+ fps with most settings except AA maxed. The amount of options that they've thrown into the menus makes it obvious that a lot of work went into porting this game. I purchased through Steam so I had none of the issues with Rockstar's downloader.

    The graphics is really amazing, there is so much detail, an amazing amount of optimization went into this game. There is just so much to do. [For the install issues on the retail version the launcher did not work for me, I ran the PlayGTAV.exe manually and it was smooth sailing    Really excellent so far. Running this games on 60fps and 1080p has its benefits. The water, the sun, buildings and all the AI surrounding player crafts a beautiful game.     I don't want to imagine just how much work this took Rockstar, but it shows wherever you look. It is rich down to the last detail, and truly gorgeous

If you cant drive, in a game where theres 3 ways of moving, walking, driving, flying.and where in order to fly, you needed to drive to the airport, then you would have a problem in your hands, BUT WAIT, you can plug in a controller, problem solved. :)

    Aiming is also improved, since its easier with a mouse.
    Also: NO PRE-GAME LOADING SCREENS! I mean yeah, you have to load when changing from the Story mode to GTA Online, but when you load up the game, there is no loading screen!
    Only one complaint remains: Running is Caps Lock- if Im not mistaken, and Shift makes my GTA Online character stop and do some weird hand gestures, witch I cannot stop doing until the animation has stopped, it can incapacitate me from combat very easily.

    Overall: Everything is divided. On the keyboard aiming is amazing but driving is bad, but on the controller, aiming is a little worse, but the driving is okay.    … Expand

My gawd this game is like 60gigs and they didn't have room?     Come on guys let's not give 0 scores for issues downloading the game that will get resolved. They really have made gta v on pc the definitive version. Game looks amazing and more importantly plays amazing, a million times better than the console counterparts. Only problem is how long it took them to release it on pc, but it doesn't look like that time was wasted.     And then the reviews came in. So, i have it a go.

    1. Most players that have a beefy enough system to play this game well, have good internet as well. I do, so no complaints on large patches from me.

    2. I torrented the pre-load. That caused all my issues. Deleting it, and verifying the actual steam files fixed all my issues.

    3. My system:

    Amd FX-8320e 3.2ghz octacore
    12gb ram
    Nvidia msi 750 2gb edition

    I have all settings set to high, all density settings on max.

It is easy to tell that they have spent the time optimized the game extremely well and you can feel that it is not a console-port but developed for PC. Even if you have older hardware you should be able to run this well.     I've been away from GTA since Vice City (which was very good). GTA V finally gave me that good nostalgia feeling of being playing an old school GTA game. The city is so lively and huge, you feel like you have infinite amount of stuff to do. And the characters are great. Franklin is clearly meant to remind people of CJ, while Michael reminds me of Tommy Vercetti (only richer). The two bestI've been away from GTA since Vice City (which was very good).     Very good PC version of a very good game. Worth an 8.5/10. Story is good, gameplay is fun, and it runs smoothly. Graphics and animations are extremely good, except for the human characters which are too stiff/plastic. The online version is a great addition for those who have completed the single player.

    No game is perfect, thus rating any game 10 is idiotic, but if any game is deserving of my highest praise, GTA V would be that game. I highly recommend this game to anyone who is a fan of sandbox games or a fan of previous Rockstar Games.    … Expand

    this game is absolutely amazing... literally... it really only has very minor issues
    like some of the menus being designed for console and minor graphical glitches... but you can expect it as this game is gigantic.... imagine every game you played, in one. the online sometimes has syncing issues but shouldn't be a big problem.

    Great game overall. Definitely better than any of the other Grand Theft Autos. The only big thing i would complain about is the driving. It has gottan ridiculously unrealistic. Too arcadeish for me.

    I rated this 9 out 10 because the game is the most complete game in all the series, as well in the common gaming scene. Freedom is only superated by Just Cause but that game isn't well finished as Rockstar did with GTA.

    Also, I don't know why but radio stations are lame in this GTA. Kinda preffer GTA IV radio stations.

But if to be objective, if Trevor wasn't in the exellent performance of Steven Ogg, the game would have lost 95% of its coolness and fun. Trevor that is Grand Theft Auto V.

Множество занятий -- я долгое время игрался в дартс и боуленг, серфил интернет(будь он еще весь переведен!), смотрел ТВ(аналогично с интернетом) -- это на высшем уровне, упорно не понимаю криков о том, что после сюжетки там делать нечего.

    Минусы: повальное однообразие кучи заданий -- на одно интересное придется 2-3 скучных перестрелки, отсутствие сохранений(казалось бы, пс2 ушла и можно сделать нормальные сейвы -- но нет) и порою странное поведение ИИ. Они могут ВНЕЗАПНО выехать на встречку когда ты несешься со скоростью света... До кучи: до сих пор нет ограничений по ПДД, теперь даже копов можно задевать(правда несильно), ох уж эти упрощения.. А жаль, в соседней Мафии все всегда было с этим хорошо.

    Но все это мелочи, главная пробелма этой игры -- GFLW и Рокстаровская соцсеть. Эти убогие придатки портят все, из-за них для нормальной игры мне перед запуском надо вырубать интернет -- чтобы лайв дал войти в автономный режим. Про Рокстаровскую соцсеть я вообще молчу, ничего кроме анальной боли от "ваш пароль неверный" он не дает.

    Однозначно рекомендую, благо сегодня она уже должна без проблем пойти у многих.    … Expand

    My only criticism comes from the Social Club software. Now, the idea is quite brilliant: rather than go down the route of a whole seperate store, like Origin, it acts as an intermediary bundled with the game itself (and, presumably, every new game released). Regardless of being sold on Steam or anywhere else. I actually have nothing wrong with this. I can understand a publisher wanting control of its software and to create a kind of "walled garden" to its extra features. I was even sympathetic to Origin, as I would probably go down the route of creating my own store if I had a bunch of IPs and wanted to distribute the games myself. However, bundling it with every copy, Steam or not, means users can access what is quite a unique social experience... They can be given the chance to be sold on the idea without affecting how they access the game, rather than Origin which seemed to receive universal hate.

    My frustration comes from a seemingly constant failure to download the game through Social Club, making me punch myself for not just buying it for twice the price on Steam. Ultimately, it turned out, it WAS downloading... I just almost needed to constantly remind it to download by hitting "retry" (why not just make it automatic?).    … Expand

    Very fun single player campaign. A lot to do and being able to play as multiple characters with different super powers makes this game a new experience. I thought this game would be similar to the previous iterations but with better graphics but I was wrong. The core game play still involves the same fun shooting and car jacking mechanics.     It's one of the most addictive games I've ever played. I couldn't stop playing. It's a great game with one of the best stories in single player. Online is great too but there need to be some fixes. Modders and griefers are common and it's too much of a grind. Loading screens are very annoying too. With that said, I still enjoy the online gamemode and will continue playing.

    Probably the best GTA game i have ever play, it is more easy to take in comparison to previous titles in the series, a better story that is not trying hard to be serious, and compelling characters that you really care about.

    However, the opinion in + free Dlls policy in some games is commendable and that in Dlls there is something to play, not a skin for weapons.

    About a day configuring the game (different ports + addition to the exception firewall and much more) and the computer to minimize the downloads of 10 + minutes, really put the book next to it and read until loaded.
    In the solo here is nothing to do you pharmacy to pharmacy elsewhere, an endless cycle, in any game if you have a company it flourishes, but in GTA Online it's just an absolute rule, alone it's a job, and in the company of friends or buddies you just have fun and discover new ways of fun.
    It's a pity I'm not 16 and I don't have any friends to play Sumo or Astalavista anymore.    … Expand

Ambos tópicos são sensacionais e eu não consegui identificar quando joguei pela primeira vez.

    Os gráficos são excelentes, principalmente a noite, e eu posso dizer que esse é o primeiro jogo onde a qualidade Very High realmente é muito superior a High. Na maioria das vezes, Very High/Ultra Quality são puramente testes de estresse pra vender GPUs, mas nesse caso, o jogo vira outro. Pena que é MUITO pesado, puxando 90% pra cima da minha RTX 2060 apenas pra entregar 60fps. O jogo estava um pouco mal otimizado para o ryzen 5 1600, mas deu pra jogar tranquilamente.

    A gameplay tenta emergir sobre o realismo e o artificial. Quanto o realismo, trata-se mais da movimentação e física do personagem, e sobre o artificial... todo o resto. E o fato de muitas vezes se jogar com 3 personagens na mesma missão deixa tudo muito mais divertido. Fora as habilidades que realmente quebram um galho.    … Expand

    story mode is excellent and entertaining classic gta except the ♥♥♥♥♥♥ parts, takes roughly 50 hours to finish it but It is quite full of things to do .
    And It has heists both in online and story modes loud/stealth which payday 2 used to be about but not really successful, Gta V perfected it except the fact that when 1 noob dies or    One must play pretty much every game made by rockstar.

    Psycho trevor and Max payne Aka Micheal is making this game a lot more interesting and fun fps where you murder ♥♥♥♥ ton of cops and gangsters.
    Last part of the story mode is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ though I wanted to kill useless negro franklin but apparently franklin is the one who chooses which one dies Edit: Gta online gets boring after 100 hours there is nothing to do other than grinding cash and buying new stuff and developers constantly adding overly expensive stuff so players will have a reason to play this game and buy those cars/houses/yachts etc some adversary modes they add once in a month can also be fun.
    not to mention there are really huge amount of cheaters since rockstar games left no choice to them either player 10 hours a day and get the new 'content' or ♥♥♥♥ off and they are still trying to destroy modded servers yet they don't have their own official servers rockstar making huge loads of cash with as minimum effort as possible

    Contact jobs pay little to nothing and are not fun mostly only 2 of them gives decent cash and RP ıf you grind them mindlessly still recommend to new players along with featured adversary modes
    Heists are a cancer to finish pay is not worth it unless you are the host= 55%. and there are very little amount of heists like 4 or 5 gets boring or annoying after some time.
    Featured adversary modes were fun a while ago but the things they make now is garbage even though they supposed to be double cash and rp It still pays ♥♥♥♥
    yet they still publish ''free'' dlcs with a million dollar + bunker,garage,mobile center,Ceo or whatever the ♥♥♥♥ and vehicles that start of 3.5million+ meaning that they want people to be unable to buy them and invest in shark cards$$$$

It used to be entertaining to do heists and stuff with friends, but recently the patches have turned GTA online way too futuristic and messy with stealth tanks, flying motorcycles, orbital cannons etc. Also, all new additions must be unlocked by ridiculous amounts of money, real or ingame. Thus, all the nice content that is being added, requires easily 40 hours of playing the best paying activities to unlock even partly. Additionally, GTA Online on PC is full of hackers that Rockstar just cannot get rid of. Thus the Online is best when played with friends in a private session. A problem with Online is also that it's really bloated. Even if you don't play it, it takes about 110 gigabytes of your hard disk space.

    I strongly recommend the single player if you never played it. If you're interested in GTA Online, that train has already left the station. I can't even imagine how frustrating it would be now to start from level 1 with all the other players flying around in their O' Mark II's.    … Expand

    This game is hella fun. After picking the PC version up after selling the PS4 version, the game felt very fresh. The PC version is way superior to the PS4 version as it does not require a subscription to play GTA online. Also, the graphics are much better with better framerates. And this was free on EPIC games so it was super worth. I was able to sell my PS4 disc and buy other games withThis game is hella fun.     GTA 5 - very exciting and interesting game, a wonderful plot, tasks, turns, all this causes emotions, after going through the storyline you can get confused over 100% passing the game, YOU HAVE TO PLAY IT.

    We could not expect a better PC port PC for Grand Theft Auto V. Rockstar North, offers right from day one a huge game in optimized, widely scalable, and high impact graphics and the video editor, although not so easy to use, is an enjoyable addition.
