    Welcome to world of Rockstar, where production has finished in 2013 and since then we release renewed version of the same game, so we don’t do any work but still continuously make money. It’s an absolute joke that company with such name as Rockstar is reheating a 20years old burger and thinking that they can get away with it. It probably didn’t take longer than 2 weeks, to achieve thisWelcome to world of Rockstar, where production has finished in 2013 and since then we release renewed version of the same game, so we don’t do any work but still continuously make money. It’s an absolute joke that company with such name as Rockstar is reheating a 20years old burger and thinking that they can get away with it. It probably didn’t take longer than 2 weeks, to achieve this trilogy, while modders community got a massive hit in the back for doing better job, already years in the back. Games are literally reskinned and added shaders to it. No old bugs were fixed, they were straight out into “new games” which only shows how much effort has been actually put into the development of this title. Thanks to Game Pass I didn’t have to waste my money on something that should not even be allowed to exist in today’s world. Pure scam, laziness and disrespect towards fans.

    Hope this will cost their reputation and the next release will hit the ground, Rockstar included.    … Expand

    The worst thing I've seen so far, bad character designs, the rain is awful and many others glitches and bugs. Of course, the worst of the worst is the price, it's not worth it.

    This game is way scarier than Manhunt. Characters' models, bugs, missed collision shapes, draw distances, rain, buildings etc. Oh yeah, Rockstar, what about Manhunt? You gonna bow Sjw? Postal 3 was the worst game on Source Engine, Yandere simulator on Unity, and this one on Unreal Engine.

    Absolutely horrible game. I've seen better games that are free at itch.io. It's a laggy, buggy, resource demanding, bad looking, weird, horrible mess. It wouldn't surprise me if this is the end for TakeTwo and Rockstar. Such a shame.

    Judging by the quality of this, I doubt GTA 6 will be any better.

    Textures from neural network, are you serious?
    And developers has forced to remove a really good graphic mods, that was made for free, to make they own for overprice.

    Really bad improvements for the price you gotta pay, pc mods are much better. I understand now why they released San Andreas on Game pass at day one. I give a one because of paying attention to these games again.

    Fest of The pop-up. Only good in this game is soundtrack... Controll is terrible, from drive to shoot (on controller). Animations are terrible. Characters models are ugly :/ 1 points for sentiment. I dont recommend this game for anyone

    I purchased this game on the Xbox Series X. I was able to get a digital purchase refund from Microsoft within 5 minutes of making the refund request. There is no excuse for the trilogy being released in this state besides meeting some quarterly sales goal for investors. Take2 and Rockstar should have learned some lessons from the disastrous releases of Anthem, Cyberpunk and Warcraft in theI purchased this game on the Xbox Series X.     The amount of bugs this game displays on PC is funny at first but you struggle to finish the game. Falling through the floor, driving through walls because of no collision, not driving through a floating texture because it has collision, just destroys the immersion. The devs should rework eveerything before releasing this game again. A delayed game can become good but a rushed game stays bad. So delay Rockstar.     The only thing "OKAY" about this game are the graphics, pretty much what you would expect after porting the game into Unreal Engine 4, looks ok but not worth selling your soul for.
    95% of all new character models look like animated cartoon characters you would find on Minimax, the rest of 5% are okay, but soulless looking, Claude's stare taught me about my own horoscope for a year.
    Imagine two bodies with different masses, like a grain of sand and compare it to the Earth size-wise, that is a perfect comparison of pros and cons this game has, and the pros aren't eligible to be the Earth I can tell ya' that.
    There's soo much to speak about this game but the 0.5 User Score with over 5.000 reviews already gives you a good leak on what to expect.
    In conclusion, do not spend your college money on this pile of burnt pizza crust, go spend that money on christmas decorations or something, save yourself please.    … Expand

    Nostalgia is a great thing, especially when you have access to the game on the console you played it on as a kid (GTA 3, VC, SA on PS2).

    I never found the games to be bad, even 15/20 years after they released on PS2. But HOLY HELL, are these remasters BAD. Playing GTA SA on the PS2 in 2021 is a great experience still, compared to this absolute buggy, unoptimized, glitchy pile of    Nostalgia is a great thing, especially when you have access to the game on the console you played it on as a kid (GTA 3, VC, SA on PS2).

For example Liberty City does not look dark any more as it used to, as well as in gta 4. The worst are however character models which look terrible in all three games. Отвратительно кислотная цветовая гамма, уродливые пластилиновые 3d модели, вызвавшие бы даже у андройда чувство зловещей долины, обилие ненужных отражений и о Боже! Они добавили пальцы, но забыли, что они должны двигаться. Вся трилогия воспринимается, как эротический бред психически больной дамы, уже как 20 лет утратившей хоть какой-то намёк на свежесть, однако знатно задававшей жару в молодости. А что говорить об оптимизации. Игра фризит и тормозит даже на rtx 30-ой серии с включённым на баланс DLSS. Видимо тонны косметики мешают нашей даме правильно двигаться и ориентироваться в пространстве. Однако, если вы, как и я за естественную красоту, спешу вас огорчить - оригинальная трилогия больше не доступна для покупки. Правильно, зачем тупому быдлу, кем собственно и считает свою аудиторию Дарт Зельник, давать выбор. И на кого, по их мнению, вообще, рассчитана данная трилогия? На сферического в вакууме неискушенного школьника, зависающего в Fortnite 10-14 лет? Но зачем школьнику из Fortnite GTA? На людей, играющих в GTA Online? Но они уже приучены качественной, хоть и обветшалой по современным меркам графикой сетевого автоугонщика. Кому они собираются впаривать эту зловонную отрыжку капитализма? Создается впечатление, что издатель понимая, что и за какие смешные деньги он создал, в большей степени рассчитывал привлечь внимание к игре как к шоу уродов на которое скучающая публика придет поглядеть на досуге, чтобы испытать экзистенциальный ужас осознания жесточайшего надругательства над великой классикой. А вы бы хотели посмотреть на то, как крестного отца удаляют из каталогов онлайн-кинотеатров подменяя легкого содержания ситкомом? Можно много чего ещё написать, вспомнить другие проекты Rockstar со специфической стилистикой, вроде Chinatown wars, а больше ничего в голову не приходит. И это сравнение не выдержит никакой критики. Ничего не изменится покуда люди будут покупать подобные продукты и поощрять донатные замашки крупных издателей, либо просто попадая в ловушку донатной зависимости. The long black loading screens, leaving you confused if youve crashed or the game is just taking a break to slow down as my system is far superior to the system I had from the first launch. Driving along enjoying the city life was good until my car decided for no reason at all to fly off into another dimension leaving me wondering if I was playing a Space X sim instead. All in all, San Andreas right now seems borked to the point its ruining my original nostalgic memories.… Expand

    Graphics are good but maaan this game has so many character model glitches and season and weather effects are non existent except that rain effect it's just terrible and makes the game unplayable and actually makes me feel dizzy... Please stay away at least until they fix this game.. I've never felt this disappointed

    This release is just proof positive that Rockstar doesn't care about their fan-base. They just made sure to spend as little money as they possibly could in order to charge gamers another $60. Taking the old versions off the store is a second slap to the face, since they must have known the older versions are far superior to this release. Rockstar should feel ashamed.

    Worst game and worst graphics in 2021. Playing on a RTX 3080Ti to run with this kind of worst graphics. Not a "Remake" game like Final Fantasy 7. They just simply edit the graphics from the original game then sell them out as "remastered" only. The game is not much different by comparing to the original game.     This "definitive edition" is such a dumpster fire you are better off playing the original ports, BUT WAIT! Rockstar delisted the original ports (on top of suing modders that were fixing them) to capitalize on this cash grab, so if you didn't already own them you are out of legal options to play the pc versions of these games in any respectable manner. THANKS ROCKSTAR!!!

    So I tried just San Andreas on the Xbox box series S since the game is on the pass and I must say that it looks awful. Appaarently Vice city nd GTA III looks dreadful as well so....How can you charge people 60 € for this, Rockstar?

    Rockstar dropped the ball on this remaster. The cars and other moving models look like plastic toys and the cities look like polished excrement. The contrast between the environment and the models is horrible and the list of bugs is long and obnoxious. Quality of life changes are the only redeeming part of this remaster that does no favours for fans or newcomers. Skip it until they either fix it or let the moders do their job.

    I cannot currently recommend Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy - The Definitive Edition on the PC, and a lot has to happen until I do. The truth is that I've had a decent amount of fun with this remaster; part of it is based on nostalgia, and part of it is based on some ridiculous, unavoidable bugs that weren't as frequent as I'd feared. Given all of these issues and the abysmal performance of the three games on the PC, I'd stay away from the trilogy until several major updates have been released. Even then, this remaster may not be for everyone.

    Overall, Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition was set up to be one of the best things for GTA fans and it failed to hit that mark. It will now be remembered as a failure to launch title but I am sure Rockstar will step in and continue to fix some items within their game world.
