    Yet another cash grab from rockstar or should i say "Take Two". They're greedy af, only care about things if it's related to money, not listening to people, and changed. Imagine selling a remaster for 60 dollars and it aint a remake, when i saw the trailer of course im hyped and happy but my first thought in mind are questions which is are the bugs fix?, can claude or tommy swim?, can cjYet another cash grab from rockstar or should i say "Take Two". They're greedy af, only care about things if it's related to money, not listening to people, and changed. Imagine selling a remaster for 60 dollars and it aint a remake, when i saw the trailer of course im hyped and happy but my first thought in mind are questions which is are the bugs fix?, can claude or tommy swim?, can cj climb a ladder?, is gta 3 still difficult?, are the shooting mechanics changed?, and so on. Disappointingly the answer is no because the developer behind this which is "Grove street games" are of course did a terrible job remastering the trilogy and lazy af, they only care about the money and it's just not worth it buying this game at full price, i rather put mods in the original trilogy even though putting up mods are a pain in the ass so yeah f this game and i hope it teaches rockstar and take two a lesson, listen to the community, don't be greedy, and of course respect others even the smallest ones out there.… Expand

    GTA Trilogy was always the favorite of GTA fans, but with GTA Trilogy The Definitive Edition, it seems like Rockstar Games just haven't paid enough attention to bugs and glitches, also many characters have not been taken good care of. Although Rockstar's other games may be good, this remaster will leave a black spot on Rockstar's reputation forever.

    On PS5 the performance is worse than on the PS2 version.
    There are more bugs than the original.

    spillet er mye bedre mye kontrast og sånt den mikro hakker avogtil og er bedre når alle kjernene er på og trådene med programm som cpucores prosesslasso. siktet sensen er bedre enn originalen den beveger seg fremdeles anderledes opp og ned når du kjører bil og til fots er den , normalt. den varierer i biler opp og ned enn til høyre venstre opp og ned er anderledes til tidermå dr5a mer opp og ned enn til høyre og venstre og andre tider er den normal mens høyre venstre er normal. og du må trykke inn skyteknappen for se, rundt bilen ellers setter den seg. tilbake til senter som saint row. . helt nostalgiske modeler ganske retro ser omtrent lik orginalen men mye bedre på en måte. veldig mørke rulletrapper inne i kjøpesenteret. ser ut som en slags bloom i alt men går kontrasten helt ned kan du se alt men det e kult med litt kontrast ga over 600 kroner og syns at musen burde være lik opp og ned og i orginalen var det kun dpi som kunne justeres.

    men orginalen var ubrekelig i widescreen og måtte ha skalere og vise 4:3 som 16:9 og sikte var anderledes i widesscreen og ubrukelig posisjon på hud. 3gta haddet vertfall grei mus etter justering. i orginalen i menyen. som vice city haddet problemer prøvd directx wrappere fra 8 til 9 for navigere i menyene og mods ditt og datt for kontrollere brukt tastatur og definitivbe versionen har bedre kontroll å fly som oppdrag i vice city og sånt. og syns revc var vanskelig for de skjøt meg ned med en gang og haddet ingen sjangs både i vc og 3. så vist du er lei gamle bugs og venter bedre version uten å fikse ditt og datt er nok definitive versionen bedre    … Expand

    Do not buy this game, I repeat: Do NOT buy this game. It is a shame to see that greed for money in its purest form led to such a shameful product, staining the formerly good reputation of Rockstar. One of the most hideous and absurd aspects about all this is that this product is called "The Definitive Edition". It should be taken off all stores immediately.

    Chyba nigdy nie grałem w gorszy produkt w branży gier. Naprawdę nie mogę znaleźć jakiegokolwiek powodu dla jakiego można by było kupić to coś, bo gra nie mogę tego nazwać. Cena jest zupełnie nieadekwatna do tego co otrzymujemy, sory rockstar ale 260zł za produkt który wygląda jak niedokończony mod to zwyczajna kradzież.

    Why do the characters look like plasticine dolls? And the rain is just a shame. If you drive a car during a downpour, you can go blind because you won't be able to see anything.     Es un insulto hacia la trilogía original, ya no es tan solo el diseño de arte "cartoon", sino un juego que llegó al mercado a medio cocer y que tardaron más de 4 meses en corregir sus problemas y que aún, a dia de hoy, después de todos los parches está muy lejos de ser una versión definitiva.

    Simply sad what this game is after months and is far from a definitive version game. I don't recommend this game, play the old version that has less bugs. Rockstar Games, take two interactive, and Grove Street Games should be ashamed of themselves. they announced these classic games way too early delisting the original ones and releasing it too early even know the game is not at it state. when it was released there was major problems that turned out to be a disaster I mean honestly Sega almost did right with sonic origins when that came out yes I know it was too overpriced, lack of content but hey at least they didn't left any major glitches that'll kill the classic sonic games. when i say this game has to be the worst remaster of all time trust me it is. there's so many bugs, glitches, bad character models, pc version was taken off the store because rockstar has to remove some files that angers fans and they wanted a responses and refunds but they didn't comment anything and when they apologized they half baked apologize to us because I thought that they were gonna get our refunds and restoring the classic gta on ps4 but not they got away with it and they did not fix this game, when they sales going up because of the title they started abandon this game meaning that they're not gonna fix it. it's rockstars fault they are responsible for this and it costs them money. this whole trilogy should have not launched in that state. it should've taken time to release it when it's ready… Expand

    The gameplay is rubbish, improved controls? Please make it worse, the character and cars move worse than the classic, bugs to burst, and some air vehicles are harder to fly, Grove Street games did not serve to make this game that was technically a copy past of the classic versions, if that could not do, I can not imagine a more demanding game made by it.

The textures look like plastic, the shadows are weird and barely visible and they move in a strange way... and OMG the bugs. There are so many bugs with character models and they also removed fog from GTA San Andreas so now the map looks small. They added some stupid clouds but they do almost nothing. This is a 2/10I'm pretty disappointed. Even after all those patches it looks very bad.     I don't understand how a company which has made some of the best games ever produced took the classics which put them on the map and objectively made them worse. The graphics looks great(at least for Vice City, which is the only one I have played thus far), but that is all. Everything else has become worse:

    - this game is not meant to be played on PC, the controls are just bad. Helicopters can't turn left or right around their own axis. Its just garbage
    - There are issues with spawning of pedestrians. During Taxi fare mission and rampages, they just don't spawn, making completing the task impossible
    - none of the weird vehicle spawns from the original has been fixed, where car in front spawns backwards and changes direction to normal. In fact, there are more glitches with vehicle spawns than in the original
    - songs have been removed from radio stations(including Billie Jean), during missions when NPCs talk in car, the radio volume change glitches. There are times when radio stations just stop working
    - collectables appear too late, I would have imagined that nowadays draw distance is not that problematic
    - many cutscenes are too dark due to lack of light source
    - car doors opens and closes badly
    - driving feels worse than in the original, the car slides too much

    To be fair, there are some good things here as well;
    - personally I like the new graphics, although they are inconsistent in quality
    - the radio/weapon wheels are good addition
    - the .357 pistols bullet trajectory has been fixed
    - weather effects are gorgeous

    As much as I want to like this game, I just can't. This game is objectively worse than the originals, if they just updated the graphics and left everything else as it was, the product would have been much better. The game does not let itself to be liked - once I finally understand its limitations and bad spots and play in a way to avoid them, it just gives glitch after glitch after glitch. Pity.

    I give this game 0/10 because it is an insult to the original trilogy. How can you make a Definitive Edition worse version of the 20 year old originals? And then they charge full AAA price for this pile or errors? Everyone involved in this project should be fired and permanently banned from working in gaming industry.     Rockstar cuould just stop making gta online updates to make this game instead of a mobile game devoloper (Grove street games), Now this game gets a lot of updates that dont fix anything

    It isn't worth your money nor your time, Just crack it or play the original games, it's buggy, has no good old radio songs, and Rain looks awful, CJ and Tommy look like crap.

    Rockstar dropped the ball on this remaster. The cars and other moving models look like plastic toys and the cities look like polished excrement. The contrast between the environment and the models is horrible and the list of bugs is long and obnoxious. Quality of life changes are the only redeeming part of this remaster that does no favours for fans or newcomers. Skip it until they either fix it or let the moders do their job.

    I cannot currently recommend Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy - The Definitive Edition on the PC, and a lot has to happen until I do. The truth is that I've had a decent amount of fun with this remaster; part of it is based on nostalgia, and part of it is based on some ridiculous, unavoidable bugs that weren't as frequent as I'd feared. Given all of these issues and the abysmal performance of the three games on the PC, I'd stay away from the trilogy until several major updates have been released. Even then, this remaster may not be for everyone.

    Overall, Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition was set up to be one of the best things for GTA fans and it failed to hit that mark. It will now be remembered as a failure to launch title but I am sure Rockstar will step in and continue to fix some items within their game world.
