    A totally different game while keeping the nostalgia of before, nice reworked graphics, beautiful lighting effects. Only downside, the faces are .. different.

    I like it but it has some bugs, I guess they fixed with updates, the graphics are good, the characters is like a cartoon but is cool, otherwise i loved it :)

    game much criticized, because users expected more a remake than a remastered. of course the developers could actually work harder although it is a remastered but the game is still well done and they don't deserve this **** storm.

    I liked going through this remaster, as it helped me to plunge into nostalgia and feel the mechanics of the very games that came out 20, 19 and 17 years ago. Initially, when the game was announced on UE4, I thought that another **** would come out that it would be impossible to play normally, but it turned out quite the opposite.     This is not a bad remaster. Yes, some characters look bad and have weird animations (especially in San Andreas), rain looks terrible at night, fps keeps dropping and there are some bugs. But I like it, maybe because I loved the original games. They still have the same vibe! New graphics are amazing, much better than some mods and I love new features like auto-save and improved controls inThis is not a bad remaster.     An all time classic remastered and it looks and plays great. Proper nostalgia given a BIG uplift. What a game!
    I think the only reason the "User Score" is so low is because of 1 of 3 things:
    1) Players haven't actually played it but are jumping on the bandwagon of haters as the haters don't understand that this game is 17 Years Old and therefore will not play like a 2021 game.     This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. I don't know why GTAV & GTAVI Kiddos who did not try it crying about it. Its Insane Good, The Story of each game has something Special about it because you got: The Dark New York, Scarface and Miami Vice, American Gang Wars and Exploring The Casinos and Secrets at the Scary jungle and dreams! The enhance of these remasters from graphical thing is so good.Vice City Looks Dope! The Sunshine of Los Santos and the nights of Gta3 is insane i cannot talk more! What i did not like is that the driving mechanics are little the same but at least the vehicles are more heavy and gives the feel of GTAIV. Whatever i like it and this is what does the game deserves aeay from gtavi thing… Expand

    I literally don't understand the fuss. reworked sound, serious work on light(new engine) and everybody just "no-no"? mb it's the part of gta they choose, but gta 3 only looks good and nice. no soundtracks deleted too.

    I understand the frustration but for me this is good for a remaster, and also it's not rockstar who made it it's some **** company that makes mobile ports and a ghostbuster game bruh, and rockstar probably isn't the one who made the decision to remaster it probably is take 2

    Exactly what I expected, I don't understand the negative reviews, it was clearly said that it's not a remake and just a remaster. Yeah, optimization is horrible, but it's the problem of Unreal Englne mostly, all the games based on this Engine are like that, furthermore I'm sure It's going to be optimized in the future.     game performance issues in ps5, mediocre draw distance. however overall the game is fulfilling my expectation as i didn't brainwash by some youtuber or blogger which claims this definitive edition is going to be extraordinary and mind blown, it is just a old trilogy enhancement, not a complete remake, if any of you still haven't buy this game, can hold off for a while and wait patchesgame performance issues in ps5, mediocre draw distance. however overall the game is fulfilling my expectation as i didn't brainwash by some youtuber or blogger which claims this definitive edition is going to be extraordinary and mind blown, it is just a old trilogy enhancement, not a complete remake, if any of you still haven't buy this game, can hold off for a while and wait patches first, after that, then the game is worth 8 out of 10 score… Expand

    he game's targeting system has also been adjusted. Using triggers and both analog sticks (a la "Manhunt"), players take more complete control of C.J., and can have him run and strafe, change targets, and shoot in almost any direction, even while moving in another.

    It's baffling how or why this package came out in the state that it's in.     The game's being review bombed for a ton of reasons - mostly ignorant nonsense - but it definitely has its issues. The modern aiming mechanics are bad, some of the weather effects are overemphasized, the soundtracks have obviously been altered due to licensing issues, and the game runs a bit jankily considering there's no reason for 20 year old games to run anything but flawlessly, even on a new engine.

    I wouldn't really recommend this. It's not the catastrophe the review bombing indicates, but it's definitely sub-par.    … Expand

Местами имеются баги, но некоторая часть из них осталась из оригинальных игр (лол), разработчикам явно необходимо было обратить внимание на графические баги и внешний вид некоторых персонажей. Не понимаю на самом деле откуда столько хейта в сторону этого ремастера.По сути это вполне нормальный ремастер оригинальных GTA.     Game is totally fine, there are some bugs and issues but i haven't experienced any game breaking bugs, and i have completed the game 3 times already 1 for trophies, 1 completion with cheats, and 1 for fun. Rockstar and the developers will fix all of the problems no doubt about that. Real fans keep faith.

    Game is really awesame, i dont get thoose people who are telling the game sucks, have bugs etc, in my case i had a few bugs, but that was only little bugs and doesnt ruin my game, and my self i dont care about 40 or 60 FPS its look same to me. Its sad, because a lot of youtubers saying the game have bugs, and most people believing them, what they said because they are youtubers.     I found this game to be very good and it revived old memories in me, i didn't even remember the storyline so it was like a first time to me, i consider this to be must play if you played the original ones 10+ years ago (obv get it pirated for now because it is very expensive).     Basically, I liked it, but the release process is so bad. When will I be able to play? Game have a bugs, but it not critical. However, i can't to load a saved game, why? Graphic is cool, i like it. Game have troubles with render distance, but it basically better than classic releases. I hope game come back soon.

    I expected more than one remaster of my favorite game, animations, mechanics, but it is the same "food" that I have been consuming for years, and now it only has "extra dip" and the rest has been neglected, I only give 5 beacuse I hope that modders do something with this game more than rockstar, no longer dedicate to remastering please

    Amazing game. I love how everyone is complaining about this so much, do you really have nothing better to do than to ruin other people's fun? Not even grateful at all when R* has done such a great work on this. The graphics are much better and so is the game. And its not even Thursday so being so out of touch is not fashionable right now.

    3 old games fully ported to new engine with increased limits, a lot of improvements unlike ENB and other bugged graphic mods. Bugs exist, but these problems will be fixed. Maybe it's a chance to return VC and SA multiplayers, I spent all my childhood in GTA and SAMP with other players. Thanks for remaster!

    Well the O.G. games were far from perfect. But that's no excuse. But as of now I can actually play them. Even with the "upgraded visuals", it looks just like the old console versions. HAHAHHA The terrible draw distance even with a 3090 takes me back to 2002 when VIce City launched on PS2. Just with 1000 fps (165 on my LG GP2783B) average and 60 fps 1% lows....... Атмосфера игр передана отлична, за исключением третей части, где прямо чувствуется нехватка тумана и пасмурности. У Definitive edition только три действительно важных проблемы. Сложность, баги и лаунчер. Миссии упростили, но поскольку в игру будет играть молодая аудитория незастывшая наХороший ремастер старых частей с небольшими современными фишками (которые можно отключить кстати). Атмосфера игр передана отлична, за исключением третей части, где прямо чувствуется нехватка тумана и пасмурности. У Definitive edition только три действительно важных проблемы.     I feel like this remaster is half-finished, and that it was supposed to release in early 2022 (Along with GTA V Expanded and Enhanced, even for free) but Take-Two wanted to make money or something.. The part I think was worse was taking the game from us with no notice just hours after launch. If this doesn’t show what rockstar thinks of us than nothing will.     I'll start out by saying that shelling out £55 for a game for me isn't a big deal so the actual cost doesn't bother me a whole lot. However, the value does. There are parts of this remaster that are genuinely impressive and gorgeous. But it's the lack of transparency from Rockstar is what bothers me the most. Make no mistake    Understandably, there are a lot of very upset people.

    However, the value does.

    There are parts of this remaster that are genuinely impressive and gorgeous. But it's the lack of transparency from Rockstar is what bothers me the most.

    Make no mistake about it - these are PS2 games with new textures and lighting. If you're expecting anything else then you will be disappointed.

    We were given a short trailer, showing side by side comparisons of the new engine, the lighting etc.

    We were promised quality of life changes and some of them have been effective, such as the weapon wheel and the radio wheel.

    And let's not forget that T2 has been suing modders and the original games are no longer for purchase.

    Sadly, the majority of what's been delivered is a buggy mess. There are glitches everywhere, some are simply aesthetic (and kinda funny) but some can break missions completely halting progress.

    There is an overall lack of care that's been given to this remaster. Simple things such as the hidden packages font in GTA III is still the same blurry original yet is updated in later titles.

    The rain makes the game unplayable and caused me to feel genuinely nauseous. Lance in GTA Vice City has his old model when using the cop uniform, but otherwise a new model. The list goes on and on.

    The sheer number of things that were overlooked are evident every single time you play the game. It leads me to believe that this cannot have been extensively tested, or even if it was, none of these issues were deemed worthy enough to be fixed on release.

    There are lots of game companies that seem to treat the general public as their own personal play testers, pointing out issues, glitches and bugs that they then fix with patches after release. To me, this is plain wrong. If I pay £55 for a game I expect it to be released in a state that is appropriate for that price tag.

    It's not all bad though - the games are still as fun as ever. The nostalgia is real and it's so nice to to return to these games after so many years. These are games that are forever linked with my childhood and some of my fondest memories. GTA III was the game that got me HOOKED in gaming and 20 years later it's a huge part of my life.

    Therefore it's very difficult to detach my personal bias from the situation and look at the games objectively.

    For all of the lies, the secrecy, the warts and the issues, I still LOVE these games and living in their beautiful updated environments has been heart warming and genuinely fun.

    The radio is still as funny and satirical as ever, the characters are over the top and the stories are absurd but thoroughly enjoyable.

    Be warned though, aspects of these games have not aged well. Many of the GTA III missions will require MULTIPLE attempts due to silly things that happen during missions that cause you to fail.

    This is less so in Vice City where they have done away with gang members shooting you on sight and silly timers in almost every mission.

    In closing, I guess I'm having enough fun to overlook all of the issues and not ask for a refund.

    This release was always going to be divisive - from art style, to remake vs remaster, to modernising; not everyone was going to be happy.

    If you're on the fence, buy it when it drops in price and patches (and mods) fix these glaring issues. But most importantly, take it for what it is. Know what you're getting into and enjoy it as much as you can.

    Or, don't buy it and continue to shout **** you Rockstar' and no-one will blame you one bit.    … Expand

    Except for the remaster GTA: SA that's quite good. Support for wide format, high resolution textures. Yes - the graphics are cartoonish, but it's still better than playing the original in 2021, which was problematic to launch on modern OS (win10/11) ... It is true that the price is too high, I will wait for the sale.

    Gta: the trilogy -the definitive edition An interesting project, rockstar patches have fixed half of the bugs and shortcomings. I, like all players, expected more from Rockstar, but I didn’t get what everyone wanted. In general, the game is not bad and my rating is 8/10

    This is simply insulting. They managed to surpass even the worse of gaming industry combined. Far worse than anything released by EA, Activision, etc.

    graphics and lightning are good, but goddamn... I've lost so many missions due the bugs, cj sometimes can't walk, the game crashes, there are planes falling down all the time, there are texture bugs everywhere, DO NOT BUY, If you want to play it just download it for free by cracking it

    I have so far only played the San Andreas DE. So my experiences are based on that and ultimately, I'm reflecting my experience there onto the whole package.

    I am seriously disappointed in this, as someone who pestered his parents for about 5 months to get San Andreas and spent thousands and thousands of hours on it well into my adult years hearing of a remaster was something I was eager    I have so far only played the San Andreas DE. So my experiences are based on that and ultimately, I'm reflecting my experience there onto the whole package.

    I am seriously disappointed in this, as someone who pestered his parents for about 5 months to get San Andreas and spent thousands and thousands of hours on it well into my adult years hearing of a remaster was something I was eager to see. Like many my mind raced of our beloved game re-done in the GTA V engine with the graphical upgrades and gameplay elements that game brought us. Instead..

    We got a goddamn port from the cellphone. What an absolute joke. This is simply unacceptable for a PC/Console game to be ported from a phone, especially from a rich company such as R*. While this game tickles my nostalgia bone I can't say I can immerse myself into the experience due to the constant, amateur-level graphical issues which plague this game, to list some:

    CJs tattoos being cut off by clothes
    CJs tattoos literally "floating" above his skin
    CJs tattoos being an odd shade of black which looks fake as all hell.
    Body parts having visible lines between head/neck, clothes, arms (etc)
    The world/buildings flashing in blue/red randomly, kind of as if police lights are going off but no cop car is around
    Weather will cause weird graphical errors
    Roads (especially east highway of Los Santos) having.. weird bumps in the road which are like ghostly/shadowy.
    Old graphical effects gone (Noting the "Speed blur" which I enjoyed personally)
    All the models looking like weird plastic toys, shiny as hell and badly done
    Any character talking (outside of main characters) is basically stretching their bottom lip.. Which looks weird.
    Pictures on walls are wrong from the originals, as well as being badly up-scaled.
    Textures in general are...horrid.. It comes to something when the community can just stick it through an AI up-scaler and do a better job.. Within a few days.
    The "graphical upgrades" are a meme, literally "Lets add fancy lighting effects and bloom".

    This is just from me playing 5 missions and getting all 100 tags. So let's say 3 to 4 hours of gameplay.

    I can only really think of 2, maybe 3 things I like from this remaster but those are so insignificant that it really doesn't make up for the shortcomings this is filled with. You'd really think that Rockstar might have pulled some of the ridiculous millions and billions they milked from us with GTAV/GTA:O to really put some effort into what was their crowning achievements, but they couldn't of given less of a damn if they tried. I would 100% recommend people do not buy this game and if you desperately wish to play go grab the original games and mod them, you'll get a much better experience.

    I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but I fully believe Rockstar will just consider this abandonware within a year. They'd have to start again from the ground up for any real fan to be able to accept this.    … Expand

    Over 130 hours on all of three games. People are insane, keep listening others opinion which is just a hype now. Game is fine, Not perfect, but fine. I will never return to originals.

    The game is fine. It just is a buggy and unpolished version of three great games on my favorite console. The game's peds (especially GTA San Andreas) are ugly. They should just allow people to switch the models between the PS2 ones and the new ones (they did muh boy OG loc dirty). They should fix it to be playable

    The games are good. Now they are getting new updates so it's good that Rockstar is listening to us. I played the games and there were bad at the start, now there are very good. They fixed some bugs and it's playable. Also, they delayed the physical version of the game to PS5. Which means they are doing something. Give it some time, then we will se what they did.

Нормально выглядит, не то что эти моды, которые ужасно выглядят, но почему же я не поставил низкую оценку, потому-что её обновляли, пофиксили многие вещи, но не знаю, фиксят ли сейчас, я бы поставил получше оценку, если бы персонажи так смешно не выглядели!

    I never olayed those games and playin them at 1440p at over 60 fps is really an enjoyment. Dont get distracted by the hate. Man gamebreaking bugs have been patched out. Enjoy! (I'd pay only 30€ for this)

    Don't you even dare buying this game. Bugs, glitches, horrible gameplay. Better play the original, it's way better. Rockstar and grove street games did a horrible and poor job with this trilogy. Don't give them your money, save it for better things.

    Rockstar dropped the ball on this remaster. The cars and other moving models look like plastic toys and the cities look like polished excrement. The contrast between the environment and the models is horrible and the list of bugs is long and obnoxious. Quality of life changes are the only redeeming part of this remaster that does no favours for fans or newcomers. Skip it until they either fix it or let the moders do their job.

    I cannot currently recommend Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy - The Definitive Edition on the PC, and a lot has to happen until I do. The truth is that I've had a decent amount of fun with this remaster; part of it is based on nostalgia, and part of it is based on some ridiculous, unavoidable bugs that weren't as frequent as I'd feared. Given all of these issues and the abysmal performance of the three games on the PC, I'd stay away from the trilogy until several major updates have been released. Even then, this remaster may not be for everyone.

    Overall, Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition was set up to be one of the best things for GTA fans and it failed to hit that mark. It will now be remembered as a failure to launch title but I am sure Rockstar will step in and continue to fix some items within their game world.
