    Groove Street Game once again ruined an amazing experience everyone could have, are they working with CD Project Red? Randomly exploding cars, dummy npcs, phantom cars, invisible obstacles, clipping floor, mistypes of words in textures, awful rain... and many, many more. Please Rockstar Games, do not hire this studio anymore!

    I buy GTA 4 so many times on different devices and never had this problem. This is too buggy and almost none playable(I buy this on Switch). Even my iPad version runs better than this. Refund immediately.

    Am very dissapointed. Just play vice city (buy for this game) and there is a lot of bugs and I cant finish a mission with cubans. I waant money back. This game is trash

    мыльная графика, разработчики схалтурили с ремастером, так ещё и цену завысили. Надеюсь для рокстар это будет уроком, что не надо доверять создание продукта левым компаниям без опыта. Цена просто непозволительна.

    What a disgrace, it's really done with the feet, rock star disappointed me deeply, I don't recommend it to anyone. I honestly didn't see the need to remaster these old games. The mods were just fine. They ruined themselves. We are absolutely not there.

    when take2 started removing mods (graphics, fan made mods, etc...) i was like: oh so they are gonna make something special and 10 times better than all the mods out there, but they proved how incapable and lazy they are, and now that gta 4 mods are being removed im just scared for a gta4 Definitive Edition that will destroy my personal fav gta game

    this sh*tfest does not deserve 60$ and since the removed the originals from sale, normaly i dont support piracy but in this case R* did not give me a choice

    Driving down a street at a moderate speed I had a bus suddenly appear 5 feet in front of me. That is the moment I shut the game down for good and requested a REFUND. So frustrated playing these games and ruining good childhood memories. Rockstar's reputation is now further tarnished, hopefully they notice the mountain they're tumbling down before it's too late.

    This isnt even a playable game, feels like the CyberPunk 2077 scandal all over again. This was badly rushed. And even the audacity of R* to charge 60 bucks for this dumpster fire is crazy. I hope they devote atleast a month to improve the gameplay.

    I respect the intebtion of trying to improve the game. But its got so many issues, an entire corner of gta 3 map has no collissions. Constant frame drops on a game that could easily run on the ps3. This should of been a remake . Get rid of this bad studio and stop working with bad studios.

    Rockstar needs to step up and make great games again. This remaster is a half-finished. GTA is one of the best video-game franchises that I’ve played. But now, we get no games from Rockstar except RR2 and no GTA game in years or like almost a decade, they decided not to finish the remaster of the classic GTA trilogy and give us a half-finished mess. It needs a lot of improvement. The gameRockstar needs to step up and make great games again. This remaster is a half-finished. GTA is one of the best video-game franchises that I’ve played. But now, we get no games from Rockstar except RR2 and no GTA game in years or like almost a decade, they decided not to finish the remaster of the classic GTA trilogy and give us a half-finished mess. For GTA San Andreas, the Draw distance/fog needs to be lowered/added so that the locations and cities look farther away from each other and the map looks much bigger. For all of the games, the old songs should be re-added into the game as well, new songs should be put in there too. They need to add much more detail to the games. By the way, Take Two shouldn’t be taking down mods, that just sounds greedy. They should also add the OG games. They should make the newer versions look like the OG games. They should give each location its own weather and environment. Rockstar should consider listening to Costumers and its fanbase. Hopefully they listen.… Expand

Like porting the entire trilogy to unreal engine. Make new 3D models of the characters that are important in the story and reuse gta v pedestrians, for example.. along all the geometry from gta v for the recreation of the worlds.
    They didn't made that because it was cheaper to contract War Drum Studios (grove street games since august of 2020) a third party studio that makes mobile games and has a past porting the gta series to mobile devices... with not great results either. This people don't have experience with RAGE nor will because it's a third party studio, and not formerly a rockstar afiliate, and that's why the gta trilogy remastered has been ported to the unreal engine 4 and not remade it in the already perfect fit for an engine, RAGE, in a proper series remake.
    I mean in 2020 we had Mafia definitive trilogy wich was a full blown remake that looks way beyond expectations, at least for the first game in the series that came out in 2002, but they also made actual remasters of mafia II and III that just adds visual fidelity features, but needs no more that that. come on. Keep posting your 10's and 9's and calling "children" or "haters" to the people who actually pay for the broken mess that is GTA: The Trilogy - The Definitive Edition.    … Expand

    By far the worst game release after Cyberpunk. With this trilogy, I wanted to finally replay the games in one piece. The game is fun, but the bugs are hell and the game always crashes. No wonder if the game was implemented by a mobile games company.

    O jogo esta bonito porém vice city e 3 com o som do San Andreas, nada foi alterado nos menu. GTA San Andreas contendo bugs em cima de bugs. Mapas tudo da cor do San Andreas ícones e sons. removeram a maioria das câmeras do game. sinceramente o de Playstation 2 continua sendo melhor

To say it was badly ported would mean they actually tried to do something there but what I saw was just a three amazing games that should have not been touched at all by some small, inexperienced studio that produced three **** remastered games and an infinite number of memes. GTA III, Vice City and San Andreas deserve a remake not a remaster.

    Firstly, the game looks like a mobile game. They have somehow taken any form of "realism" out of the GTA universe and cartoonised it entirely. It no longer feels like I am CJ, a Grove Street gangster running the streets of San Andreas, but instead, a plasticine imitation of what I should have been.

    The game runs appallingly bad. Even on my RTX 3080 and i9 CPU, I will get 4-5 fps any time I unpause from the menu. The only redeeming factor of this game is that the lighting does look pretty.

    The weapon wheel is a nice addition, but aiming is so clunky using controller. It is impossible to switch between enemies at all. Frequently I will die because I cannot aim at the next target. I have had to resort putting the controller down and using keyboard and mouse for any missions that I need to aim for.

    Certain aspects just look downright dreadful. What is with the rain effect?? It is IMPOSSIBLE to play the game whilst it is raining. Also, why have they removed the fog entirely?? I was always under the illusion that San Andreas was a MASSIVE map, but as soon as they removed the fog it looks the same size as the airport in GTA 5.

    Speaking of which, where has some of the nice effects gone? The heat waves in the desert have just disappeared, the tyre smoke when doing a burnout is jet black, there is no water mist when hovering a helicopter over any water. This stuff has just been omitted entirely?

    Some characters have just taken a step back entirely in terms of design. Almost every NPC is a whacky Sim-like character with butter smooth skin, drawn on eyebrows, and lifeless faces. No longer does OG Loc look like a wannabe gangster, or Ryder look like Eazy-E.

    Apart from a weapon wheel and radio wheel, there have been no QOL improvements at all. You can't get in cover (whilst enemies can), shoot around corners, what's even the point in buying guns or modifying cars? Just so that when I die they can all disappear?

    I spent thousands on upgrading my car, I die it disappears. I walk away a bit too far, it disappears. I lose a mission, it disappears. I go in to somewhere, it disappears. Couldn't they have added a garage or inventory system??

    The same applies for guns too. It's tedious having to go back to ammunation and having to buy all my guns AGAIN every time. Why can't I just keep the guns and minimal ammo, and just have to buy ammo again?

    Character models are all out of whack. What is even with this?

    Not only that, but I paid £55 for this game, and it requires me to be connected to the internet to play....?? They removed the original GTA's off Steam so you cannot purchase them anymore. And then they have the audacity to take the Rockstar Launcher offline so I can't access the game. And then when they bring it online again they REMOVE THE GAME FROM MY LIBRARY so I cannot play it??!? It's honestly a joke, and borderline scam.

    I glady refunded the game and got my money back. I will never buy a Rockstar game on release again. I will rather wait for the reviews just to see how badly they messed up next time.

    How can anyone at Rockstar, Grove Street Games, or even Take2 be proud of this mess? It's an embarrassment and has royally tarnished Rockstar's reputation.    … Expand

    En resumen Rockstar Games lo hizo por las puras el remake de GTA . Vamos hace 8 años hizo GTA 5 creí que así en ese tiempo hasta el 2021 hiciera GTA 6 o algún juego o remake. Vamos los GTA de la PS2 tenían sus bugs pero no afectaban mucho la experiencia al jugar, pero en este juego arruina toda la experiencia. ¿Qué es esto? Cyberpunk 1992.

    Lo peor es que quitaron los mods.

    Rockstar dropped the ball on this remaster. The cars and other moving models look like plastic toys and the cities look like polished excrement. The contrast between the environment and the models is horrible and the list of bugs is long and obnoxious. Quality of life changes are the only redeeming part of this remaster that does no favours for fans or newcomers. Skip it until they either fix it or let the moders do their job.

    I cannot currently recommend Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy - The Definitive Edition on the PC, and a lot has to happen until I do. The truth is that I've had a decent amount of fun with this remaster; part of it is based on nostalgia, and part of it is based on some ridiculous, unavoidable bugs that weren't as frequent as I'd feared. Given all of these issues and the abysmal performance of the three games on the PC, I'd stay away from the trilogy until several major updates have been released. Even then, this remaster may not be for everyone.

    Overall, Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition was set up to be one of the best things for GTA fans and it failed to hit that mark. It will now be remembered as a failure to launch title but I am sure Rockstar will step in and continue to fix some items within their game world.
