    Definitely not worth the full price that is being asked for it, full of bugs that weren't in the original versions of the games, ugly character models and very poorly optimized. In addition to Rockstar having removed the originals from the store, as if these were the "definitive" way to play these classics. I don't recommend this game to anyone.

    Estou decepcionado com a Rockstar. Eu nao esperava isso vindo de uma empresa tao respeitada e amada pelos fãs, um jogo feito na pura ganancia cheio de bugs e sem capricho nenhum que custa 320 reais no pc Isso deveria ser considerado um crime.

    Three remasters and three unfinished and unpolished piles of product for 60$. The thing i like for the most is the map and fake interiors almost everywhere in the buildings, but that's a part of the graphics, you can't use them to mod the original SA. Other things as:
    Weird reflections on the characters, this unnecessary cloth shader, old sounds, awful rain, awful water, wrong weapon    Three remasters and three unfinished and unpolished piles of product for 60$. The thing i like for the most is the map and fake interiors almost everywhere in the buildings, but that's a part of the graphics, you can't use them to mod the original SA. Other things as:
    Weird reflections on the characters, this unnecessary cloth shader, old sounds, awful rain, awful water, wrong weapon positioning in the character hands, strange and even creepy skins, smooth, but the textures have no details. They even have some difference in a level of no detalization. Also characters tend to stay in some creepy poses. No ragdoll, alot of textures look like they've been just upscaled by AI, some are messed up. No collision in some places, there's a mix of Xbox/PS/mobile version cars(some cars have 3d engines,some don't) /icons/another stuff, suspensions and textures on some cars don't look good, decision on the wheels are weird, some songs are deleted, almost no new features (gps is fine, but it's not really needed because the maps are pretty small) Why? That's even not all flaws/bugs, whatever. Аnd optimisation SUCKS. That's not even a full UE4 port - RenderWare works as the main part of the game, and i think, if you would try fix all flaws and bugs to make it into a decent game, renderware will be dead from both mods and UE4. And it's already dying, fps drops drastically in some places. And all this cost 60$ after T2 banned all mods, rly? That's bold, T2    … Expand

    So to start with San Andreas the gym is the mobile port it's basically a Minigame to press at the right time to lift the hydra control's like **** you can only sprint with bicycle etc. GTA 3 is ok I guess haven't played VC yet

    Firstly, the rockstar games launcher is a joke and I just wish they would release their game on steam or if not at least let me purchase the game in the first place. Before the game was removed from the store, I had tried to pre order it however it just wouldn't work for me.     I created an account on this website just to place this review, which says a lot. Rockstar from 10 years ago would make fun of what Rockstar is today. Greed has taken over and it shows in this instance.

    I was able to play the game for about 2 hours before the game was removed from the Rockstar Launcher.     They did not upgrade the game at all the only reason it is playable is that the original 20 year old game was good. Look at the awful looking characters and no facial expressions you see in other reviews. San Andreas has crashed 3 times and cut scenes have half the pixels missing . Seriously this is only a cash grab. DO NOT BUY!

    They somehow managed to take the mobile version of the game (not even the console or pc version) and make it even worse. Then they thought it would be a good idea to release it on non-mobile hardware and make it non-functional on PC temporarily, while simultaneously removing the original and much better versions of the games from sale. Avoid this at all costs.

    You can see Chilliad from Ganton.
    Awful white outline now appears when aiming.
    Inconvenient PC camera.
    Aircraft cannot be controlled.
    Model errors, lighting errors, etc.

    I've never rated a game here. Honestly I just read reviews. I have never felt so compelled to review a game until now. Made an account to just say: don't. Just don't. Don't buy it. Don't mod fixes, just let it sink. Ask for refunds if you can. They have somehow downgraded games from the late 2000's. If this was a restaurant, McDonalds would be 5 stars and have a dozen Michelin stars.

    I bought the game on November 11th, I couldn't play the game until the 15th. All of that because Rockstar couldn't handle the launch properly. Even if I could finally try the game, I am hugely disappointed by Rockstar that I had to wait 4 days to play this game.

    I dont want to put a 0, but i give a shot to this game and literally is the same that 2004 with a little improve to the graphics but not so high than grand theft auto IV also more laggy than grand theft auto V, i expected more but rockstar wants $59.99 for this, And there are even free fan-made graphics mods that what rockstar did, I just got disappointed

    You ban custom remastered, but hire people who make mobile horror. You tie the modders' hands, but accept the improvement for games from units. Either something is wrong with you, or finally understand and start hiring people who make global, popular and high-quality mods, rather than producing such slag, selling for a lot of money and just falling into the eyes of fans.

Это уже понятно, что GTA 6 будет очень плохой игрой, никто из адекватных людей ее не ждет. Единственное что геймеры могут сделать - показать свою добродетель.     I don't get it. They somehow keep all the old bugs in the original game versions and yet somehow make the graphical improvements seem so out of place with the art style.

    This genuinely feels like a mobile game and it's clear it is designed as one.

    nothing is good in the definitive edition. The game world looks like a plastic mockup. Why also Take 2 hired grove street games? I have no idea. The most upsetting thing is that there was nothing rockstar games could do about it.. In childhood, this trilogy game was beautiful, and now? no words :(

    Nostalgia will only get you so far with re masters, and it's hard to look past the catalogue of bugs and issues all three remastered games have. Astonishingly, these ~20 year old games set themselves a benchmark of 30fps on previous and current gen consoles, which they inexplicably consistently cannot reach. To have these versions replace the originals (which are no longer available to buy) is not a move to try and curate genre defining games of the last 20 years, but a clear and present message that unfortunately the gaming industry now does not respect its own legacy, but does very much respect it's ability to make money.

    Well, a remastered is here to bring a game to modern technology standards.
    Rockstar Games got something wrong if they think this piece of amateur game development and unoptimized piece of **** is somewhere near any existing development standards.
    Plays like an Indian port of GTA, developed by kids in a slum.

    Jogo custa quase 1/3 do salário mínimo brasileiro, sendo que é só um 'mod' oficial de um jogo de 2004, que custava 20 reais na steam (sem promoções), além do mais o jogo está cheio de bugs, não merece ser comprado por ninguém

    Well done Groove Street Games & Rockstar, you just killed 3 legendary games. The PC version is full of bugs, the IA is worst than the 1st versions, the graphics are awful and the characters are coming straight from the Sims 4.
    And I don't understand why you can't use simultaneously the controller and the mouse.

    Congratulation for the best prank of 2021.

    First of all, the game I pre-purchased got taken off the RGames Launcher and I did not get to play it for 3 days. When I played it, the experience was extremely underwelming. No love poured in these games whatsoever. I even uninstall these abominations. Shame on you Rockstar. I now have lost my faith in you.

We can highlight the trash shadows we had in the game; the rain more seens to be toxic waste; the NPCs more looks like comic's books characters, and the bugs don't stop, theres more : we had no distance fog,Its an offense to call n game like this a remaster, or even an game. Rockstar, again, made us a fool, and delivered this bizarre pack instead creating a new and fresh content... We can highlight the trash shadows we had in the game; the rain more seens to be toxic waste; the NPCs more looks like comic's books characters, and the bugs don't stop, theres more : we had no distance fog, meaning we can see the entire map, that is actually small in comparasion with actual games, such as R* Red Dead Redemption. All the menus had animations and sounds in the Gta SA style. In the golden years rockstar should release a maximum details masterpeace (such as the 3 gtas here). But for now, as a huge fan o all the games, i feeling shame for seeing the fall of rockstar quality and seeing these jewels being treated like junk.

    Rockstar dropped the ball on this remaster. The cars and other moving models look like plastic toys and the cities look like polished excrement. The contrast between the environment and the models is horrible and the list of bugs is long and obnoxious. Quality of life changes are the only redeeming part of this remaster that does no favours for fans or newcomers. Skip it until they either fix it or let the moders do their job.

    I cannot currently recommend Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy - The Definitive Edition on the PC, and a lot has to happen until I do. The truth is that I've had a decent amount of fun with this remaster; part of it is based on nostalgia, and part of it is based on some ridiculous, unavoidable bugs that weren't as frequent as I'd feared. Given all of these issues and the abysmal performance of the three games on the PC, I'd stay away from the trilogy until several major updates have been released. Even then, this remaster may not be for everyone.

    Overall, Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition was set up to be one of the best things for GTA fans and it failed to hit that mark. It will now be remembered as a failure to launch title but I am sure Rockstar will step in and continue to fix some items within their game world.
