    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. este es un caso interesante pues tiene cosas realmente buenas pero otras muy molestas, empezando por las malas su campaña principal es repetitiva haciéndote hacer casi las mismas cosas una y otra vez en las 3 regiones del juego y creo que este es el punto mas débil de todo el juego ya que al contrario a como debería ser la campaña llega a sentirse incluso pesada pues cada cierto tiempo al avanzar en cada región del mapa te obligara siempre de la misma manera a que hagas una misión de la historia lo cual puede ser molesto si tu solo quieres explorar libremente.
    Ya lo segundo de las cosas malas es que trae muy poca innovación en cuanto a los far cry anteriores no se siente una gran evolución entre la tercera o cuarta entrega de la franquicia.

    Ya dejando de lado lo malo el juego tiene una jugabilidad realmente buena que hace que sea muy entretenido siendo esto de lejos lo mejor del juego y acompañado de mucho contenido por lo que puedes perderte explorando su mundo y encontrando cosas que hacer con la única molestia de que al avanzar mucho una zona el juego mismo obliga a continuar la historia de una manera muy poco sutil.
    con todo eso es un juego recomendable si eres fan de la franquicia de far cry pues es mas de lo mismo mejorando un poco algunas cosas y si no eres un fan pues no haría daño esperar para comprarlo en una rebaja.    … Expand

    es pésimo , no se mata animales por piel , se termina enseguida , el personaje principal es un nps sin vida, los coches programados a andar en terreno sinuoso aunque anden en pista ,y si el auto cae al agua y giras la dirección este gira en ese sentido q se giro , malisimo la verdad , no existe el carisma en este intento de juego

    Right off the bat, Far Cry 5 feels much more natural and immersive than its predecessors. The graphics have been improved even further (especially with the HD resolution pack) and the game remains optimized since it uses the same engine as Far Cry 4.

    In contrast to the previous games, FC5 takes a hands-off approach. Ubisoft decided that gamers should be allowed to figure out their own way of approaching the game rather than having them complete missions one after the other. In this game, you need to gain control of three regions, and the missions you choose to do are entirely up to you. The order in which you take over the regions affects the cutscenes you get, so your journey is unique to you.

    One issue I had was that the northern region was a little boring. There weren't that many missions to do there and they were mostly errand runs. Another minor issue I experienced was that I couldn't figure out how to fish in the game no matter how much I tried.

    Overall, I think the game is still a solid 8. There wasn't really any new content added to the game and the story isn't the greatest because it revolves around violent extremism, but it's a bit more cohesive than FC4's. FC5 simply merged the previous two games together and polished them. Compared to the previous games, FC5 feels a bit more comfortable to play.

    HOURS OF DARKNESS DLC
    This was a fun DLC based on the Vietnam War. It only lasted an hour, but I enjoyed every minute of it. I really liked the effort put into creating the map and the overall feel of it. It's truly a well-made DLC. I don't have any complaints. Score: 9/10

    LOST ON MARS DLC
    My main gripe with this DLC (although it's been a gripe throughout the entire series for me as a whole), is that the entire story is narrated by Hurk, whom I hate with a passion because of his annoying personality. The story is really random and silly. You experience all the map has to offer after a few locations. The lack of transportation is a turnoff since you move around very slowly. I don't recommend playing this DLC. Score: 5/10    … Expand

    I loved it. Thought it was great fun. So much to do and explore in the open world. The graphics are great and the gameplay (especially shooting) is smooth and works well. This was one of those games where I genuinely felt sad to have finished it.

    Good graphics without any concern to play, a dumb story with forced cutscenes and forced dumb quests to "involve" you to the story. That ruins your gameplay and make game annoying. It's maybe the worst game i ever played, the relatively good graphics engine and the big open world doesn't help. I try to love this game but i cant. And the big bunch of bugs remained after one and half year.

    This game is amazing. The story is so well crafted, the graphics are awesome and there gameplay is so satisfying. So much effort has been put into all the details. Co op is so fun

    The online multiplayer isn't that good.

    Lack of enemy variety makes the game very repetitive even at early game. Lack of weapon variety. A large number of missions can be reduced to "Go to this location and kill everything". Could only kill 1 boss and got bored as F***

    Нет мини карты,микро транзакции,убран крафт зачем тогда в игре вообще животные ,

    Open world: 8/10. Not as great as in GTA, no random events, but still great land shafts, lots of raiders and animals and it's fun to kill them cause it has its sense.
    Effects: 10/10, every time the sun stroke into the player's eyes I felt it, when the character was in gas I felt it, when smb jumped in water I felt it, no comments.
    Conclusion: Didn't beat the third part, but still better than the fourth, especially with DLC's    … Expand

    Game has really good graphics,sound effects and realistic blood effects.Most of the characters are very fun.But most of the missions are really very boring, the game looks like a poor version of far cry 3 and far cry 4.And the game has lots of stupid glitches.

    Without a doubt the best game in the far cry series, and a great expansion of the far cry formula. While still sticking close to what made far cry great, far cry 5 dives deeper into uncharted territory with new RPG elements, an engaging and fascinating world and possibly the best antagonists of in Ubisofts history.

That zone took a lot from the game making it much worse than what it could have been. The story kept me interested till the end though. And that is exactly what the story does to this game. I feel like they were trying to make a deep though provoking ending like The Forest ... but Far Cry 5 does not do this. I    The Good: fun game mechanics

Yes, if you only play the main story and skip every thing else then yes it comes down to 3 underboses which capture you and you have to overcome their torture. But if you're like me and you like to be immersed into a story then you won't call these 3 events from the 3 villains repetitive, you welcome those events with open arms! The cruelty your character has to overcome in these events and cut-scenes are pure gold. And the side-quest are fun and never felt like a grind. Actually the side quest felt really rewarding. Another pro is the world design, the map is big but not too big, I never felt he need to fast travel, not once! It fun to travel on foot or by a vehicle.

    - Weapon sounds while suppressed
    - Bugs
    - Microtransaction in a singleplayer/co-op game...

    The weapon soundeffects unsuppressed are realistic, however if you put a suppressor on it then it suddenly sounds like a paintball gun. bugs and glitches like randomly exploding cars will happen from time to time.    … Expand

    5. The weapon progression lock system sucks.
    6. The signature weapons are gone and replaced by flashy reskinned versions of the base weapons (that have no performance enhancements)
    7. Cash for in game credit to buy flashy things for your character....
    8. Mission progression is a bit iffy as in tries to be open world but then forces certain events onto you.
    9. Inventory management is poor (or at least i have never found an equipped screen or an inventory screen)
    10. In world store can lag like crazy as though it is on line.

    I think the Far cry franchise have gone downhill. Every game is the same both with gameplay and story. The only noticeable changes are that you can now throw shovels, sticks and pipes. That you are playing in america and that the bugs are worse than ever before.

    The only enjoyment i got from this game was by playing with some friends.

    So don't play this alone if you can.

There's no minimap so that is a bit of an issue at times, and weapons feel a bit jankie when firing, but if it's on sale there'sIt's exactly what you would expect from a far cry game counting the last two titles.     I know that this is just a conveyor game, but i was damned hooked, i don't know why. Country music is especially good, i fell in love with these tracks.
    Although it has a lot of bugs, i enjoyed the environment.

    Horrible Far Cry, even worse than FC 4, gameplay is a somewhat good, but everything else is awful.
    What I hate most is we are forced to face the bosses after cleaning up some mess, and you'll be at the end of the story in a blink of eye!

    I thought this wouldn't be my cup of tea, but I can't stop playing the game now. The soundtrack is fantastic, it fits into this environment and a selection of songs in a car? Perfection. Graphics is well optimized, I run on hight with my 1050 ti and a really old i5. Only thing that bothers me a lot is that my character doesn't speak. It seems like a commonplace nowadays, but this game damnI thought this wouldn't be my cup of tea, but I can't stop playing the game now.     The best ending in this game can be achieved by not playing the game, the game doesn't reward you with a good ending for doing things, you have no input into the story even though your MC is mute, the game punishes you for playing it. and then pretends like its smart for making you go down a linear path you can't change.

The narrative was as linear as it gets and the choices that the player made didn't seem to hold any value whatsover. Far Cry 3 and 4 both had amazing villains that kept sending chills down the player's spine everytime they had a convresation with the protagonist but now we got a pseudohipster with a man bun that was rather laughable than imposing or menacing. Only the ending came out to be a little unexpected but nothing shocking enough to alter my opinion on the whole of the story. Also, I really enjoyed Far Cry's classic system of activating radio towers and liberating outposts to unlock new areas. I see why the devs decided to try a more open and free approach but it made the story look incoherent. Overall, I had a time fooling aroudn and blowing up stuff and liberating outposts, but I kept rolling my eyes to the very back of my head everytime I listened to a dialogue concerning the main story.… Expand

    Hard to pinpoint why but this game is a big step back from #3, #4 and Primal.

    General lack of direction. You often are completely lost for what to do next. No hunting for upgrades. No towers to turn over. It has become too chaotic... and has a really really dissapointing ending.

    Not the best Far Cry game I played, but I can't rate it too poorly since it is a Far Cry game and the theme always sets it for me. I wish they would have done a different setting though. It has really good optimization, game play and story, but the AI is useless.

This is a repetitive title where you do the same thing over and over again until you build up enough skills and weapons to take on the "boss" characters.

    This game would have actually benefited from being shorter and having a more linear story. I know a lot of people **** about this but unlike a lot of sword and sandal titles this one simply does not have the variety to take this approach and make it work.

    That said this could have been forgiven were it not for this games biggest shortcomings, it controls. Controls in Far Cry 5 once you stop beyond the basics of movement and weapons is truly truly awful. Some of the worst I have ever seen. It has a clumsy interface that attempts to remove the need for key binding but the interface you access in its place is so complex and hard to use it severely limits game play and is nothing short of an exercise in utter frustration. Its like they looked at Windows 8 and took its very worst interface elements and integrated them into this game.

    In summary this is a repetitive, trudging bore fest, made worse by piss poor horribly counter intuitive interface design and extended controls that no amount of eye candy can fix.

    FUN FACT: up until now, I have played about 20 hours with sufferi g just ONE system-failure (crash).
    compare this to the day I tried running the original uplay version, I got BLUESCREENS left and right - even though I could not get the game to actually go beyond the menue!

    That was that, the really embarrassing part about the game, the one reason, why you should NOT BUY THIS GAME!
    "Technical issues" of that magnitude and the lack of a proper fix by Ubisoft - making paying customers(!) have to download a pirated version - just to being able to play the game°
    This is really sick and most definitely NOT how it is supposed to be.... and some people still don't understand why others oirate. :(

    Customers are treated like **** served unfinished products - in no other industry would this be possible, imagine getting half-cooked spaghetti, or a j´halfass-sewen jacket you cannot close - that is what UBISUCKS is doing here!
    They sell us a game in an unfinished, unpolished, buggy state, so bad, it is even UNPLAYABLE ojn many systems. This is not okay and definitely the last Far Cry title I'm going to buy in the next few years....BUT, AT LEAST THERE WERE ONLY AN ABSOLUTE MINIMUM AMOUNT FOR "towers you HAVE TO climb (like a dick or an ape)". ;)

    Good game, but far from perfect, if you hate repetitiveness in games, you won't like it. By far, one of the best things about the far cry series is its bad guys, and that still applies to far cry 5, the main antagonist are all more developped than the silent main character and all the people that the game considers good guys.

The endless kidnappings, cliches and making the player do stupid stuff basically feels like a big f*ck you to the players from the writers. Running around Montana is fun but then suddenly you get magically kidnapped so you can sit tied to a chair and listen to a baddie ramble on for 10 minutes. And that happens around 10 times in the game. I would alt+f4 when a kidnapping sequence was starting because I couldn't handle it. I've been a fan of the series for a long time but this was probably the last Far Cry I will buy.… Expand

    Best game in this genre for 2018 so far. Superb game play, no bad bugs and tons of things to do. Bonus for all the good player made maps in Arcade Mode.

    Cons: cut scenes can sometimes be excruciatingly long and not skipable. Especially those including the Seeds :) Also, the step up from Far Cry 4 is really not that big. So you gotta like the genre a lot.

The story is interesting, however not the best, the gameplay is aimed to more casual players, and this is concerning because this is already a very casual franchise that has never been characterized for its difficulty, with this installment they went full retard in terms of how easy the game is, even in hard is super easy to beat because the AI is so dumb. Outposts are way less challenging than previous entries and the skill tree was merged and now your progression is based on achievements instead of gaining experience like any other RPG, the choices you have on your skill tree are simple and boring, they remove so many interesting options and merged certain skills into one, like chained take down, drop down take down and such. There is no reason to save money to buy vehicles, because the helicopters and cars are just skins of the ones you get for free. At one point the only reason you save money is to save for ammo and health packs. The fauna is boring, you have lots of different animals but there is no point to hunt them other than to sell their skins for more money, and like I said, money is only used for ammo or health later on. The game is so pathetic you can just save and buy the best sniper from the first area, and you are good to go, a silence sniper is super OP considering how stupid the enemies are. Everything you loved from Far Cry 3 and 4 is gone in here or has been dumb down. The graphics are beautiful and the place they picked is amazing however the gameplay killed this, they missed a big opportunity with this location, is amazing that a game set in United States has little to no weapon variety, absolutely ridiculous from Ubisoft, and the DLCs are just terrible, simply terrible. If you want this game, just wait for a sale because is not worth $60 dollars, it might be a mediocre FPS open world game, but a terrible Far Cry.… Expand

    Might be fun in multiplayer, but i dont really care. Far Cry was allways single player thing for me, and when i want multiplayer, i still prefer mmos over anything else. Not this. And it should not destroy singleplayer experience.
    Playing this, just feels completely pointless. And not only because of dumbest ending in whole gaming history.

    The Story is good and it's inspired from our trash reality and how we are controlled by the government and do not do anything we want other than being slaves to just work and sleep while the government and other evil bastards benefit from our painful lives. The game itself is crazy FUN and I am a big FC fan and this FC5 is the one I put most hours in. There is lots to do from main to side missions. The world is beautiful and good graphics. Flying is really fun. Its progression a bit different from FC3 and FC4 which is good, it made FC5 its own game and I liked how everything worked. And the Idea that you can have a companion you command is fantastic and fun.

    This could have been the best FarCry game to date but it falls short on some levels and as many already said the biggest problem is the AI.
    -The AI is pretty stupid and the enemy respawn is even more stupid its all over the place, its like FC2 all over again what were they thinking.
    -The next negative thing is that there is no Third-Person camera for the vehicles. There are a lot of cool cars to drive and planes to pilot but you only have the ability to see the window?FOR REAAAAL? what was the meaning by putting bunch of awesome vehicles when you cant see crap when you driving?
    -Some physics problems that they forgot to give attention to.....
    Most of these things can be fixed by a patch but I doubt Ubisoft will care.    … Expand

    - The story is dry, you spend so little time with the characters associated with the region you are currently in that when something happens to them you don't find yourself caring too much.
    - The combat gets repetitive after the first 5 hours because the game tosses you into fights that are extremely similar to past engagements and the buggy AI doesn't make for a tough challenge (Most enemies will run into your bullets or will take cover with their head poking out for you to shoot).
    - The railroad interactions with the antagonists are aggravating since you can't fight back (Jacob's region kidnaps you by hitting you with a sleeping dart that you can't see coming).
    - There is no crafting (which some people may like, but it is a dislike for me because it added to the game), very few guns to buy (only 2 viable AR's, the other AR's are not extremely effective, they are mostly there for "fun").
    - There are so many side quests and side activities thrown at you at once that you are overwhelmed with the amount of fights in front of you that you may feel like you don't know which direction to go.
    - Finally the ending makes you feel like you wasted all your time saving the people of Hope County no matter which decision you make at the end.
    Overall a pretty bad game considering what is on the market right now.    … Expand

    Game play is fine, some content is ok. Lots of Nose Bleed scenes that happen regardless of skill or game play. The drug induced cult Wins in every option, so why even play the game? Played all endings, every one left me sick. I knew what was going to happen half way though the game even took out specific targets not in quests, in hopes to get a fav option, but alas much like gettingGame play is fine, some content is ok. You just can't move without being attacked by a group of ennemies in a car (which are way too many, like 1 car per minute attacking you) and the gameplay is just flat. This is still a good Far Cry to play after the third one, but it's too flat, way tooThis game... is still better than the 4 that was just horrible. It's a nice game for the 2-3 first hours but then it's just tyring to play.     Great game with really stunning graphics. The plot was quiet interesting. The shooting and combat was excellent. Optimization was well.

    But that's not what I'm mad at, it's the god damn enemy AI that has stupid IQ that doesn't make sense .... AT ALL.
    Yea, it's easy to defeat them bla bla, but when it comes to fully take outpost stealthily it's nearly impossible in this game:
    - Enemy AI seems to be aware if someone was killed by a thowing knife
    - Enemy AI has one ridicilous Eyesight when it comes to detecting you sneaking around.
    They spot you by looking half way to you, they seem to spot you from mere pixels. and some
    suppressors are not good enough from the Enemies high advance hearing skills.
    - They'll know if their buddy's being killed by a suppressored shotgun.
    - One enemy type (VIP CULT GUY) , seems to have for some reason the armor of heavy type,
    even thou he doesn't seem to wear anything remotaly to an ACTUAL ARMOR. he just takes a
    bullet to the head like Nothing
    - I know that I playing on Hard , but sometimes you get spotted after being glared for half a
    second. Why do Far Cry 4 and 3 have better AI than this ****
    That's just the start but I'll stop by saying that your Buddy AI , ironically , seems to be more dump than anyone, it takes them a LOOOONNGGG time to kill a simple target that is standing right next to them

    Far Cry Arcade - ........ this is the worst FPS PvP online multiplayer ever created in gaming
    Why ?! well lets state the obvious issues:

    - No default maps / only custom maps created by players.
    This is a critical flaw. Your game has so many mechanics it can mixed and modded by your
    amazing Devs , but you would rather be lazy and let the users do the work for you ?
    Well sadly , if you're looking a BALANCED match in this game, then sadly you'll barely find any.
    The hardest part for me is that I can see the potential from this mode, buts it's wasted and used by a mix of global creators that can create **** matches and decent ones.
    COME ON UBISOFT !! You know you can create some good maps for any1 to have fun ! and by
    that I mean fun in a balanced match.
    - TTK and headshots just don't mix well - You can fire around 20-30 bullets and kill , but luckily shoot once in the head and BANG DROP DEAD ! This is a bad mix of Halo with CS:GO.
    I can't tell you the last time I wasn't killed by a headshot. add up the stupid Aim Down Sights
    feature and you got yourself an abomination of Halo + CS:GO + Cod. don't forget you can
    "stealth kill" if you 360 the enemy faster than he turning around.

    The only good thing about this game is the Coop/Solo feature to play Custom Levels.
    Play custom Outposts to take over , or anything else it's fun as hell.

    I give this game a 6/10
    They're A-LOT of issues I didn't mention , but I believe I pointed out the most critical ones to why this games just falls hard in the ground

    Shame that Far Cry 3 , is still the best.

    The AI ruined the game for me. For a 2018 game it is just awful. It ruined the whole experience. I cannot recommend this game. Also, the Hours of darkness dlc has even worst AI than the base game (do not know how) and it is very boring and 3 hours long.

    pros: great gameplay, fun multiplayer and a fun dumb story that you do not need to take seriously.
    cons: dumb AI, helicopters and planes are overpowered, and the character customization completely pointless if you play alone.
    but the overall game is fun and i got what i wanted from a far cry game. no more, no less

    There were some great stories in each area, but the game moved so fast I didn't feel like I had a chance to enjoy them. You can still finish the quests after the finale, but trust me, you won't want to. I don't, the impetus isn't there without the threat of the boss and his minions hanging over me. Another testament to the "nothing matters" mantra of the game; you don't even want to play it again...

    Oh, and props to Ubisoft for making a antagonist that I so thoroughly despised that every time I saw his face I wanted him dead.    … Expand

    Ubisoft thinks that they've hit the secret formula with Far Cry 3 and now both Far Cry and AC series feel the same. Not only that they cling to medicore formula they've even downgraded stuff like sound of guns is worse than in FC3, very boring and souless game that is simple as if they're assuming that average gamer has 70IQ form Ubisoft, this is one is not exception.

The FC 4 and FC 5 heath-ledger-joker-wanna-be villains just make you roll your eyes, groan, and mash the Esc key to skip every cut-scene with them in it. Somehow the story is WORSE and MORE STUPID in FC 5 than it was in FC 3 and FC 4. It's just so, so...stupid. And god, that ending. One of the worst video game endings I've ever seen, no matter what "choice" you pick. Did...did Ubisoft go out of their way to hire a really really STUPID WRITER? I don't know what happened here but my score is so low in no small part due to the INSULTINGLY STUPID PLOT of FC 5. It's not difficult to write a simple backdrop for an FPS game, but somehow they managed to f*** it up, despite a multi-million dollar budget. Did they spend 20 bucks on the writer or something? The story literally almost sapped all the fun out of shooting the virtual bad guys.

    6/10. Okay game.

    UBI needs to mix up the FC formula DRASTICALLY cause it's pretty stale now, and somehow the plots are getting more and more braindead, which is no good.    … Expand

    Far Cry 5 is a nice and funny FPS that you’ll enjoy most in co-op. The well-proven concept would deserve a rejuvenation and adding a story that is adequate to the rest of the game. [Issue#285]

    Far Cry 5 doesn’t propel the series forward — it just refines all of its elements and relegates the infamous towers to the dustbin of history. So if you‘re allergic to open worlds from Ubisoft, don’t say I didn’t warn you. But if you’re eager to meet new wacky characters, complete dozens of missions and enjoy the sights, welcome to Hope County, sinners!
