    I've got super disappointed with this game, after all, FC4 is one of my favorite games of all time.

    But FC5 screwed the franchise up. FC4 was an evolution of FC3, some people didn't like the story but at least everything that was in FC3 was in FC4, they just add new things (like vehicles, new takedowns animations, weapons, etc) FC5 on the other hand simply removed many cool things    I've got super disappointed with this game, after all, FC4 is one of my favorite games of all time.

    FC5 on the other hand simply removed many cool things from FC4, especially the healing animations that were cool as **** and many options of takedown. I've loved those things and I've got super disappointed, without those things, FC5 becomes just a generic third-person shooter game. The only special thing in FC5 is the possibility of bringing allies in your fights. I didn't like this mechanic because they are OP and they removed the challenge of the game. It was so fun and challenging in the previous FCs just trying to kill everyone at stealth with the many takedowns as possible. Now your "guns for hire" just do everything for you.

    The story is also bad. The beginning is cool but after that is just a downfall since you don't care at all about the protagonist (he is literally a nobody without a story) and your allies are just comic relief so you can't take them seriously, you can't even take the story seriously.    … Expand

    Far Cry has a terrible crutch with their villains, and they really made a hipster a cult leader who has no real motivations, ideals, or anything.

    The gameplay is fine, it's not incredible but its just slightly improved far cry 4, or slightly inferior new dawn, at least mechanically. If you buy this game, you are buying it for the story, because if you want the gameplay you can just play    Far Cry has a terrible crutch with their villains, and they really made a hipster a cult leader who has no real motivations, ideals, or anything.

    I'm not going to talk about the story itself or anything, I kinda liked the intro, but only reached the point where you met with the guy after you escape (No spoilers, it's almost the same in all Far Cry, they don't know any other way on how to start a game) and I had to hit ALT+F4 because I only got 40 FPS on Low 1080p when my computer it's capable of running it on High 60 FPS 1080p. The Division, doesn't matter which one is the same **** Watch Dogs, both of them ofc, the same **** learn how to optimize games Ubisoft. I'm 20, been playing games since 2 (not kidding lol) and never saw such a garbage company except from EA, Apple and the rest of this ****ty magnitude. Don't buy their trash games, at least until they make something which can be playable by a PC which meet both recommended and minimum requierements and it still runs like ****… Expand

    그래픽 좀 개선시키고 등장인물 이름바꾸고 스토리 조금 바꾸는거 말고는 할 줄 모르는 유비. EA처럼 섣부른 변화로 프랜차이즈가 망하는것보다야 낫다지만 새로운 시도를 전혀 하지 않고 매번 산소호흡기만 달아주는 유비가 밉다.

    Its a good RPG with a compelling story. Maybe the best Far Cry came to date. Huge world to explore and tons of game play for your money which is more than you can say for a lot of other AAA titles. Yea they have micro transactions but they really do not effect the single player mode. People complain to much these days. Not every game is gonna be a Fallout New Vegas or Final Fantasy Vii butIts a good RPG with a compelling story. Maybe the best Far Cry came to date.     Anyone who has played Far Cry 3 knows. The game has no old taste. Cinematic transitions, gameplay and gunfire, nonsense events... I deleted it halfway through the game.Play the game straight, there is no flow order. They just did the graphics. The story is not as good as you think. Those who played the series will agree with me. Just 4 point for graphics.

    Jedyne plusy dla tej gry to dobra grafika i dobry tryb co-op

    The campaign could have been good but the endings are pretty bad personally. Next, with that being said I really liked playing the rest of the campaign. One final thing that I do not really enjoy about the game is there are a lot of bugs like people hanging out of airplanes when flying and some weird hitboxes on some objects. Finally, I would say that the graphics and sound were wonderful.

    Sadly this game is not properly working. First of all, Draw distance. Enemies, trees, rocks literally anything in the game just pops out somewhere. While you driving or walking, doesnt matter really. While you doing some things on the road, the ranch which you passed like 15 seconds ago, began crawling with enemies. Just like magic! Lets say you hunted a deer from far distance. When youSadly this game is not properly working. First of all, Draw distance. Enemies, trees, rocks literally anything in the game just pops out somewhere. While you driving or walking, doesnt matter really. While you doing some things on the road, the ranch which you passed like 15 seconds ago, began crawling with enemies. Just like magic! Lets say you hunted a deer from far distance. When you arrive the area of dead deer, you find literally nothing! Because deer ran a little bit out of your draw distance and poof, it gone forever. I was fully ready to doing same things in this game. Cause i know its Ubi. But gameplay of Far Cry often fun and entertaining. Unfortunately Far Cry 5 dont let player play the game with fun. The things written on top just a tip of the iceberg. Tons of glitches, bugs and one-star missions etc. already exist in game. I just wanted some far cry-like fun but this game doesnt even let me fun.     Но сюжет очень хорош, особенно после FC4, пройдя которую я было очень разочарован в сюжете.

    Even though this game is filled with bugs, ads, microtransactions, and DLCs I don't care about, I still had a ton of fun outside of that. If those were absent from this game my rating would have been a LOT higher.

    Far cry 5 is an acceptable Ubisoft open-world game with an offensively mediocre story. I was convinced to make a Metacritic account just to warn others of how bad this is. Also don't forget the game will pull you out of the gameplay to force you into cutscenes by kidnapping you somehow while you're in a plane or at the bottom of a lake or in an allied bunker. This happens 9 times.

    One of the best games i've ever played. I love story and Seed family is interesting. Faith is my favorite villain in this game. Graphics is the best. So much better than in overrated GTA V! I love modern ubisoft open world games. It's the best. Far Cry 5 for this day september 2021 is the best in frachise.

    Far Cry 5 is fun but not too memorable. The guns and mechanics in this game are great and satisfying, however the story is ok at best.

    At first view, we have a typical Far Cry from Ubisoft. But amazing Hammock's soundtrack and beauty of forests and mountains of Montana state make this are best game in series for me.

    I enjoyed this game. The story was great, the antagonists were great, the atmosphere was great. It was fun to play and the county is beautiful. Of course, it has flaws, but for me it was minor.

And are you killing the good guys through the entire game?) based on Joseph Seed's alarmism (for what???), this is the second best FPS has ever been made (the first is Dying Light).

    The game mechanics is awesome, the map is incredible, both good and bad characters are awesome, the fighting, the movement are entirely first class (try to play Outer Worlds after this. You just can't.), whaddaya want more?    … Expand

    Literally one of the most fun games I've ever played. Best co-op game ever created. If you have a friend to play with, then buy this game. I have played it multiple times with the same friend. It is a very funny game with awesome themes of America and liberty.

Нет, всё тоже что и раньше. Не могу назвать хотя бы одного пункта, по которому эта игра лучше предыдущих частей. Довольно скучный сюжет, те же аванпосты , практически такая же графика. Жду выхода шестой части! судя по трейлеру должно быть и веселее и качественнее !… Expand

    First of all I must say I am a Far Cry fan, since the first game, and Far Cry 5 is terrible. I played almost 5 hours and there is 0 second of peace, game constantly spawning new enemies, every second someone shooting at you or some wild animal trying to kill you:
    cultists on pickup,
    cultist on pickup with gun, cultist on truck, cultist on van, cultist on board, cultist on ATV,    First of all I must say I am a Far Cry fan, since the first game, and Far Cry 5 is terrible. I played almost 5 hours and there is 0 second of peace, game constantly spawning new enemies, every second someone shooting at you or some wild animal trying to kill you:
    cultists on pickup,
    cultist on pickup with gun,
    cultist on truck,
    cultist on van,
    cultist on board,
    cultist on ATV,
    cultist on plane,
    angel cultist.
    And there no way to stop this, except to complete 150 quests, you cant just clear outpost like in previous games, because there 0 outposts showing on map. As a result I have statistic 582 kills in 4.52 hours and 28% story progress. Storyline weak, and has very annoying feature forced cut-scenes and forced dumb quests to "involve" you to the story. That ruins your game-play. And of course game has single player microtransaction. Cool graphics and sound doesn't help much. Shooting feels like it has 0 changes but that`s nice, it was good enough.    … Expand

    This is by far my favorite far cry game. it's open-world story-heavy without getting in the way of what you want to do. And it's multiplayer. Its Soundtrack, both musical and orchestral is just phenomenal and perfectly sets the mood and tone for the game. I love the atmosphere of the game I love the story and everything about it. there's nothing bad I have to say about this game besidesThis is by far my favorite far cry game. it's open-world story-heavy without getting in the way of what you want to do.     My previous experience with the Far Cry franchise is Far Cry and Far Cry 2.

    Far Cry (the original game by Crytek) was a pretty original game, nice open world and interesting story, with some flaws. At the time, it was a fresh take on the shooter genre that was way more linear, giving it a touch of that Bethesda open-world RPG (minus the RPG part, naturally). Far Cry 2 (by Ubisoft    My previous experience with the Far Cry franchise is Far Cry and Far Cry 2.

    Far Cry (the original game by Crytek) was a pretty original game, nice open world and interesting story, with some flaws. At the time, it was a fresh take on the shooter genre that was way more linear, giving it a touch of that Bethesda open-world RPG (minus the RPG part, naturally).

    Far Cry 2 (by Ubisoft Montreal) had many cool features going for it, like spreading fire and an interesting location... but honestly, it felt like a far cry ( haha.. pun inteded) from what Crytek had came up with. It didn't take me long to realize Ubisoft had simply capitalized on the success of the first game by Crytek and launched its own cookie-cutter version. It seems to be around the time Ubisoft went down the drain with the copy/paste formula of generic games.

    I had such a dislike for the formula Far Cry 2 offered; being rinse & repeat gameplay, that I haven't played ANY Far Cry game since that one. I FINALLY decided to give Far Cry 5 a try, eventhough I know how generic Ubisoft games are.

    I want to give it to Ubisoft for creating a very good looking world, great shooting mechanics and what appears at first to be a very interesting story/setting.

    Unfortunately, that's pretty much where the positives stop for me.

    Ubisoft really are the masters of generic gameplay. While I don't like comapring different styles of games or different companies, I feel like pointing out some comparison with Bethesda. Bethesda also have found some sort of formula... but unlike Ubisoft, they seem to always work on the next game and bring some kind of fresh take, whether it's game mechanics, story or setting.

    Far Cry 5 has some of the most annoying character dialogue I've ever heard, and cutscenes that I skip because nothing feels sincere.. everything feels out of place, fake and bloated clichés. The gameplay hasn't changed at all since Far Cry 2.. and from what I've seen on Youtube from previous entries, Far Cry 5 is simply another copy/paste job with boosted graphics.

    this is where I feel like games like GTA, Elder Scrolls, Red Dead Redemption, Fallout, etc... really shine because they come up with a linear story that takes you for a ride, but they still offer you some open-ended features.

    Unfortunately, for me Far Cry 5 feels like I'm playing any of the other Ubisoft games. I dislike generic games where you do the same thing over and over and over.. Capture this spot, defend this spot, attack this spot.. over and over and over. Even the Main Missions are just as cookie-cutter with very little intrigue or suspense.

    I think I'll be taking another extended break from Ubisoft games for the next 10 years. Too generic for my taste.    … Expand

I liked Far Cry 4 and I was looking for a good co-op game to play with my cousin, unlike Far Cry 4 you can play all the missions after the tutorial with a buddy. I did really like the game at first, but then IEven though I heard that a lot of people talk about how they didn't like the game or how it was mediocre, I still wanted to give it a fair chance and was kind of excited to play it. I liked Far Cry 4 and I was looking for a good co-op game to play with my cousin, unlike Far Cry 4 you can play all the missions after the tutorial with a buddy. I did really like the game at first, but then I started to see a lot of the game's problems as we continued. A lot of problems weren't as clear because I was playing it co-op and co-op can make even a bad game fun. Co-op may of been my favorite part about the game, but at the same time it has so many problems. A big aspect of the co-op that will not take long to notice that you can only get so far from other the player before it teleports you back and in certain missions it can end in failure. First of all, the I don't believe that players should be forced to be that close to one another. I get having a limit on how far they can get from one another, but it is ridiculous at how limited it is. I don't think I would have as many issues with the distance if it wasn't for the fact that it caused me to fail missions multiple times. I would say the biggest example of this is actually in the last mission of the game. Without spoiling anything, the last mission is a driving sequence where both players seperate into two different vehicles. The issue with this segment is that the host player's vehicle is faster than their buddy's. If the host player gets too far ahead of the other player the mission fails. This is supposed to be a pretty crazy part of the game and it's ruined by forcing the host player to wait up for the other player so they don't fail. That is just one example of the limited distance being an issue. There are other issues with the co-op as well. Another issue is the inconveniences it causes for the player who joins the host's world. When I played with my cousin I was in his world so a lot more things were limited to me than him. One of the annoyances was me not being able to start any of the mission and being forced to wait for my cousin to get over there and do it. This is more of problem I just have with the game and I get why they wouldn't want the player that joined the world to have that ability. I still think they should give the host player the ability to choose if they want the other player to be able to do so. Compared to the next issue I had with the game that problem doesn't matter to me that much . Throughout the game, me and my cousin would complete a lot of missions and beat a lot of regions. By doing that my cousin was able to upgrade his health some more and even a get an 3 weapon slot while I couldn't get any of that. All that effort I made with my cousin and I got nothing too big out of it. There were so many things that I wanted, but couldn't get any of it because I didn't do that stuff on my world. So I decided to play it on my world as well all the way through. This was miserable especially sense during that time sense I started Far Cry 5, I started playing Far Cry 3 and beat it. Far Cry 3 is a much better game and after playing it, Far Cry 5 really started to fall apart. One those aspects was the villains. Even before I Far Cry 3 I didn't care for Joseph Seed or any of the other Far Cry 5 villians. But when I noticed how much better Far Cry 3's Vaas was, I was just bored anytime I saw any of the Far Cry 5 villians were onscreen. It wasn't helped by how the missions were done leading to encountering the villians. The game tries to give you freedom on what missions you wanna tackle. You can pick which region you wanna take over and then within the region you get to choose which missions within it. Each main mission, side mission, outpost you beat, and whatever other things you do in a region adds up points to completing the region. An interesting aspect is that you don't have to do all the main missions to complete a region. For me, I personally don't like that mechanic. It makes a lot of missions feel like they really don't matter because another playthrough I may never play that mission and still beat the game. What makes it worse is that the main missions already on their own feel like bland side missions. Speaking of side missions, they are almost indistquishable from the main missions. There is no cutscene, just some stiff person talking to you. The mission is just as simple as kill these people, protect this place, or get this thing. Not all the main missions are like this, there are good ones, but not many stick out. Then there are the main missions with the villains. What I hate about these is that I am trying to do my own thing and complete other missions, but then suddenly I am dragged into these main missions even if I don't want to. It makes the main missions feel like inconveniences and I think I would of enjoyed them more if I wasn't forced into them. Overall the game just felt frustrating and boring.… Expand

    I have never been a fan of this series. But I played some parts. The fifth part, I think, is the most successful.
    Although not without the old minuses: a dumb antagonist, a dumb plot, monotonous missions (cleaning up bunkers). But the open world has become much more interesting and pleased with the ending.

I would give a 10/10 if the missions was nice. But its totally sh*t. And one more thing, THE TEAM MATES ARE RETARD. And arcade is so boring too.

    The graphics, music and gameplay are incredible! I haven't played this game in months, and I'm still listening to the OST. There's a lot of content in this game, justifying the price tag. Overall, it's a great game that I highly recommend.

    In the end, it was a really great experience. Twisted story and lots of connections between characters made this playable. Bugs were annoying at some points but it is forgivable. It needs lots of updates and patching.

It is classic far cry scenario. Storytelling is great but I didn't really care about any of the characters. Endings are questionable.

    You still can't skip the damn cutscenes.

    Finally that "hold e to interact" is gone. You can do most of the actions by just pressing e! Looting animation is also removed, which is a nice change. I was tired of seeing the same animation for every body I loot.

    AI is terrible.

    Not enough weapons and most are copy of each other.

    It is just baseball bat and shovel now. Shovel is fun but still there should've been knives. Takedowns doesn't feel brutal enough.

    Vehicle takedown, for some reason is removed.

    Crafting is removed. You can only sell animal skin. Hunting and crafting is one of the classic far cry things. It is dumbed down here.

    To earn xp you need to kill enemies with certain weapons. I didn't like switching to weapon I don't want to use just to earn xp.

    There is always something happening on the map. You are just roaming and BOOM explosion. Can't relax for 2 minutes.

    Kidnapping gets tiring over time.

    Side missions are empty and not fun to do.

    Stealth mechanics don't work properly.

    Npc's that give you headache until you do their mission still exist.

    Not enough enemy variants.

    These prepper stash missions are really interesting and enjoyable. Hope this carries to fc6.

    Climb radio tower to unlock map is finally removed and I am happy for it. Now you unlock the map just by exploring.

    You can customize cars.

    Actual helicopters and planes are finally here.

    Some animations are faster and gameplay is refined.

    Gunplay is still great.

    If you can ignore the chaos happening behind you it can be relaxing and immersive. Especially when you are fishing.    … Expand

    Pros (a few of the many others): The game's story is pretty curious the graphics are beautiful, there are so many cool guns, and the biggest pro: you can pet all the dogs in the game. Cons: even tho the story is great and the graphics are beautiful, the game gets boring very quickly, the enemy's AI is more stupid than me (and I'm very stupid). Summary: The game is great but it can get boring fast.

Negative okay. The fact that Far Cry does not come up with anything new and has been throwing us the same recipe in the form of a negative for years, and I don't blame ourselves for the best time in the game several times. In my opinion, it belongs to the series and I personally think that it works. But what didn't work out quite well, at least on my part, is the mission system that the developers have switched to here. On the one hand, I commend the authors for the attempt at change, but unfortunately I think for the worse. In previous episodes (except perhaps only two), we had a pretty cinematic game with a strong story, and the game rewarded us with a cut-scene for completed missions. There are also films here, but simply not to the same extent as before. To explain, you come to a place in the game where you talk to a character, and if it was a three or four, the cut-scene would start immediately. But that doesn't happen here, and you can still walk, jump, and shoot while you're talking to a character who gives you the task of walking. Just like you didn't talk to her. In fact, you don't even talk because your character doesn't talk, which makes it almost completely impossible for you to form a relationship with her. I may be too critical here, but personally it bothered me quite a bit when the previous parts were able to draw us into the story so well, and it's just not here. So, from my point of view, this is the biggest minus of the game and now it's just the good thing. So I can reassure you that if you are a fan of the FPS genre as such (which I am) and you are not very interested in the story (which I am interested in at Far Cry), then I think you will be satisfied. There are a lot of weapons in the game and you can create your arsenal with which you will kill your enemies. In addition to sprinkling enemas, an animal partner can also help you. Ubisoft has already tried this technique in Primal and it worked well for me, so it is quite clear that we have the opportunity here as well. But if that's still not enough for you, you can even finish the whole campaign with a friend. This is probably the best thing about the game. You can enjoy the whole parade with a friend and I believe that it will be an oven in two, but I personally played the game myself. Having criticized the game for its lack of cinematicity, I have to praise the passages where you freak out and fall into bliss. The scenes here are often cinematic and it is a pity that this is not the case with the whole play. The whole thing is underlined by the beautiful song "Help Me Faith", which I rank among the best songs from the games ever. In conclusion, I would mention that this is a good game, I just think that if it weren't for the cut-scenes where someone is talking to you without changing the camera angle, or at least your character said something, the game could still be much better. I would recommend the game mainly to Far Cry fans, but also to FPS enthusiasts. Only if you expect a stronger story, you may be disappointed with the game in the final. But if you are not interested in the story and you just want to shoot yourself, then I think you will be satisfied.… Expand

I've played through the story of this game about 4 times, on multiple different systems, and I never get tired of playing this.     The developers didn't include the in depth hunting system from the previous Far Cry games and instead changed it so that skill points give you those upgrades you would usually earn from hunting, which does make the game lack for one it's greater features.

    Overall I rate this game a 9/10 as the game has many perfect qualities but due to the watered down hunting system I cannot give it a full 10.    … Expand

The story is not the most joyful in the world but the Seed family all seem to have motives and backstory that contribute to their actions and almost make the player feel a level of empathy for them, Other than Jacob of course, he's just some military fella (That's all the backstory he's given in effect). Each region poses unique mechanics and threats however Faith's region has the most diverse gameplay in my opinion. In this region we learn more about the hallucinogenic simply referred to as "Bliss" and how it is developed and the reasons it is used. Now many people do complain about the ending but I found it hard to regard in the grand scheme of things, the ending wasn't important to me as I enjoyed the game as a Co-Op experience because the main feature that made me buy this game, A full Co-Op campaign and it was ridiculously enjoyable; Liberating outposts, Engaging in dogfights, taking out enemies with shovels and hell, even the fishing was fun. Far Cry 5 may not have the best story or ending ever but it is one of the best experiences I've had with games for a long time,… Expand

Animal were also far and few in between. You'd rarely see random animal attacks, and the variety of animals was very narrow. I didn't like these changes at all.

    Scaling radio towers to view an area on the map is taken out, it's now done automatically when you've passed by that area. I personally really like climbing the radio towers in the older Far Crys. It was a bit thrilling, since I'm scared of heights in real life and would never climb that high.

    The perk system works relatively the same way, but I would say it's a bit harder to gain perk points compared to before. There aren't any over powered perks like "run forever", which is reasonable, as those perks in the old titles gave the player too much power. The boss fights were mostly silly. Especially the final boss. Very underwhelming and repetitive compared to past titles.

    - Narrative -
    This has got to be the part I disliked the most, but this is more of a personal taste. The antagonists of Far Cry 5 are a radical religious cult. I've seen a fair share of cult documentaries, and they are interesting to learn about. The craziness shown in the villains were also really well done. You could clearly see they were mentally on a different channel. Though at the same time, the villains all felt too similar in personality. There are 4 of them, and they have A LOT of monologues. Going through each area began to feel like a chore after I defeated first villain. By the end of it, I just got burnt out by that empty blank look they had, along with their cold monologues. Why did they do this? Far Cry 3 and 4 had villains of varied personalities and agendas. Far Cry 5 felt like it had 1 villain but times four.

    I also didn't like the fact that the protagonist was you. I liked AJ Ghale. I liked Jason Brody. One had a goal you wanted to fight for. The latter had an interesting personality change along his journey. There's a lot of customisation you can make to your avatar, but you never actually see him...so WHAT's THE POINT?

    - Visuals & Sounds -
    The game looks beautiful, and the facial expressions are REALLY well done. When the cult leader leans into your face and talks to you, he truly looks insane. The devs did a very, very good job with portraying a radical cult leader. The environment looks beautiful too. It's unfortunate the setting doesn't have as much mountains as the locations in previous Far Crys.

    - Replay value -
    There are a lot of things to collect, and side missions to complete after you finish the game. But it all feels very repetitive. The things you do in side missions and main missions just feel too similar. Plus, given the way the game ended, there's little reason to complete any of it, as it'll be all for naught.    … Expand

    It was my first Far Cry, so I was new to the series, but I like the idea of the cult so I bought it. The gameplay is enjoyable and fun, the scenario was stunning, the story great but not what I expected. Maybe if it wasn't so, I mean, explosive and more focusing on character aspect maybe I could enjoy even more. By the way I like it, 8/10.

    How this game gets a lower score then cyberpunk2077 is just mond blowing. just shows how the game review industry is corrupted. This game is very well made, the graphics are outstanding and run on my old gtx970 rig at high with high frame rates. the optimization is really good. compare to cyberpunk and you will see what im talking about.     Awesome country and graphics, average story. But shooting is awesome its just 11/10 and gameplay too, its so fun play this game you have helicopters, planes so many guns, cars, everything. If you are funboy of far cry like me and dont care about story this is game for you because everything is perfect only story is average mostly bad

    A very interesting story with charismatic characters. Although, some quests were monotonous. DLCs were also very inresting.

    Far Cry 5 is an open-world FPS (first person shooter). If you are tired of linear FPS with low replayability, Far Cry 5 is a beauty. This is pure fun, with more realistic approach that you might think. Raids need some thinking. Shooting is fun, intense, driving is welcome and easy. You go through a nice mass land representing Montana with nice outposts, houses, roadblocks, … all of that atFar Cry 5 is an open-world FPS (first person shooter). If you are tired of linear FPS with low replayability, Far Cry 5 is a beauty. This is pure fun, with more realistic approach that you might think. Raids need some thinking. Shooting is fun, intense, driving is welcome and easy. You go through a nice mass land representing Montana with nice outposts, houses, roadblocks, … all of that at your own pace. You get various factions, VIP shooters (meaning stronger), choppers, planes on your road.

    By advancing, you get some perks that allows you to get a stronger character: faster, more spots for weapons, bigger magazine, etc. …

    Last but not least, for those who cares, the story is nice, the universe is realistic, the soundtrack (that you can hear online on places like Youtube) is pure gold, the scenery is gorgeous. One of the best FPS I have ever played, and again, with a really nice replayability when you just want to relax and drive and shoot.    … Expand

    Far Cry 5 is a nice and funny FPS that you’ll enjoy most in co-op. The well-proven concept would deserve a rejuvenation and adding a story that is adequate to the rest of the game. [Issue#285]

    This fresh take on the Far Cry franchise is clearly visible content-wise, but a tad more discrete on the style. If you're not bothered by the slightly repetitive formula, you'll enjoy the many strengths of this episode.

    Far Cry 5 doesn’t propel the series forward — it just refines all of its elements and relegates the infamous towers to the dustbin of history. So if you‘re allergic to open worlds from Ubisoft, don’t say I didn’t warn you. But if you’re eager to meet new wacky characters, complete dozens of missions and enjoy the sights, welcome to Hope County, sinners!
