    Yes just please try out this game at least once, I recommend playing doom 2016 first then playing this game, this game allows you to play in many styles it's amazing.

    I'm posting this review since it will permanently say that I had 69 hours at time of review. Good game, fun core gameplay loop, decent-ish story, well optimized. Very very very rarely drop frames outside of Super Gore Nest even with most settings on Ultra-Nightmare and in the year and a bit that I've been playing it on and off its never crashed on me.     This is what video games should be. Fast, precise, wide array of gameplay, tactics if you want; a good story thats makes sense for the overall pacing and has very interesting lore thats told through the environment n such. Ambient audio, etc. They put heart into it - its fun. Truly fun.

    I struggle to find anything to take issue with. After a decent learning curve, de-programming previous DOOM muscle memory and play styles, you get into such a flow of ripping and tearing. It's satisfying and thrilling.

    This is the best dang DOOM you are going to find. The combat whips ass, and so does everything else. The lore is enormously stupid but in the way that the liner notes to a prog metal album are enormously stupid, which is to say it fun and rules. If this game were a person I would marry them immediately.

    This is what a quality game is. This is without a doubt my favorite game. I've bought this game in its entirety 2 times and have played the campaign at least 5 times since its release. There is not a single thing i dislike about this game, it can present a real challenge at times.

    This game is a MUST have:
    1: Graphics are AMAZING I have never seen a more detailed, crisp and dark enviorment like this before.
    2: It´s optimised as hell I have a mid tier PC and this game runs at 1440p, max settings with constantly 144fps
    3: Story hella great
    4: Pacing: EXCELENT pacing, with intense battles and a great story
    5: Glory kills: Do I even have to say something?

    This is my favorite game! The gameplay is fast paced and have a lot of emphasis on movement. All enemies and weapons are very well designed and fits into the combat loop nicely. You need to have good situational awareness and plan your attack within a few seconds of entering an arena, and good ammo management is very important or else you will be running out of ammo a lot.     Brilliant, fast paced and pure FPS. I have been playing doom since around 1996. I play through Ultimate and Doom 2 yearly and this game easily scratches the same itch.

    The best way I could describe this game is that it is pure testosterone fueled mayhem. The music is great, the gameplay is great, and the graphics are great. You actually start to feel sorry for the demons in the game as you rip and tear your way through everything. 10/10 would play again.

    Worthy sequel to Doom 2016. Improves on just about everything that made the first game great, but the added complexity causes some issues.

    There is a bit of a disconnect between the speed of the game and how many options you have at any given point, especially as the game progresses.     Doom eternal takes everything from doom (2016) and expands on it and makes it better the music weapons story are all so good and it has a lot more to do than doom (2016) like exploration,challenges (like slayer gates).

I consider myself good at shooters, but this one is devilishly hard and I have no idea how anyone could beat this at nightmare or even the 2nd highest difficulty. The new enemies are interesting, the Marauder though ...Intense action where every battle is also a bit of a puzzle? Doom Eternal is great, absolutely. It's faster better and harder than Doom 2016.     Doom Eternal and The Ancient Gods might be the best single player FPS I've ever played. It is a cross between classic Quake/Quake 3 deathmatch and Bayonetta/Devil May Cry.

    This is the best FPS I have ever played. After playing this everything else feels slow, frustrating, and not adrenaline pounding enough. I would recommend this game to anyone. This is absolutely my favorite game. ID out did themselves.

    Fantastic game. A little disappointed there isn't an achievement for completing campaign on a harder difficulty. Guess I wasted some time and frustration on a higher difficulty that didn't have a payoff. Oh well.

    Truly the renaissance of a franchise. DOOM 2016 was the beginning, but DOOM Eternal sealed the success of the franchise with fast paced gameplay, quick reflex learning, great graphics... As a FPS gamer I had to relearn how to move, shoot and control the arena. Also the difficulty gives you a solid challenge for veteran gamers (aside from part 1... My god...).

    These addons for DOOM are HARD AF! Definitely play the first campaign on harder levels before even attempting this! If you are up for a challenge, though... this right here is LEGIT. It's very fast paced and will get you holding your breath at tense moments and your heart rate up. I can't even play this game unless I am well rested! Definitely worth it across the board.

DOOM Eternal is a refreshing break from all the modern fps games that are all just more of the same. The music is fantastic and easily the best of any game I've ever played. I would recommend DOOM Eternal to anyone who plays video games, and even some people that don't.

    This game reprogrammed my brain to the point where I can no longer play any shooter that expects me to stand still for more than five seconds. There is so much verticality, so much polish, so much fun with the game in the GAME. This game is a masterpiece, end of discussion.

    I am really impressed by how good this game is. It is worth of all the praised its received, and they have a killer formula to move forward with. The battles are intense and exciting; I was constantly on the edge of my seat. Even better than Doom 2016, which I thought was great at the time.

The level design is fantastic, the gunplay is even better, and the new challenges you get make it all the more satisfying when you beat the final boss.

    The difficulty is much higher in this game, as you have much less ammo, enemies hit you like a truck, and there are a lot of new enemies to keep track of. If you're new to Doom/Shooters in general, I recommend setting the difficulty on Hurt Me Plenty. (I beat it on Nightmare on my first playthrough cuz I'm just that good)

    The Movement is a gift from god. You got double jump instantly, dashes, climbing, swinging on monke bars, the Meat-Hook, ect. It feels so good to zip through the map while blasting demons to dust.

    The only thing I can criticize is that the final boss's first phase is kinda annoying, and that's about it. The game reviews who said this game wasn't as good as 2016 just didn't care enough to try and get better. This is one of the best games I've ever played, and will continue playing in the future. There is so much to this game that makes it great that I haven't even talked about. Just get the game

    Damn good game. I'll be playing through it again. The soundtrack is perfect. Fast paced and non-stop action.

    I ripped and tore, until it was done. Lots of fun, some parts were a little too much but I had a good time all around.

    If you're looking for a deep and thought-provoking gaming experience that changes your outlook on life, look elsewhere. However, if you want a fast-paced, visceral shooter full of non-stop action and outrageous violence, you can't do better than Doom Eternal. If you liked 2016's offering you will love this follow up. It's a hell of a good time.

    Like Jason Statham’s character in Crank, Doom Eternal needs adrenaline every waking second. So long as you drown hordes of demons in their own blood, it feels like a perfect GOTY contender, but during quiet moments, Doom Eternal withers and forces you to ponder unpleasant questions. id Software needs to course-correct, otherwise we’ll be playing Super Doom Slayer’s Bros in a few years.
