    Doom Eternal is one of the best games I've ever played, and I've played a lot of them. Coming from 2016 Doom, it's basically just makes EVERYTHING better. The Gameplay: Faster and more challenging. The Weapons: Super satisfiying and immensely powerful. The Music: You already know has amazing it is. In every way, it's a step up from Doom 2016, and then some. But come with a warning, itDoom Eternal is one of the best games I've ever played, and I've played a lot of them. Coming from 2016 Doom, it's basically just makes EVERYTHING better. The Gameplay: Faster and more challenging. The Weapons: Super satisfiying and immensely powerful. You will die on anything past ultra nightmare, a lot. But it's really good at teaching you the way it wants you play.     This game makes you feel like a real badass once you master its mechanics. Music is great. Story is neat. Level design is great. Graphics are great. Gunplay is amazing. Sound effects are great. It's a real blast!

    I think this game is a masterpiece. It's absolutely gorgeous to look at, hectic to play and so cleverly designed. From one point-of-view, the entire game seems to be one gradually paced tutorial in how to become the ultimate Doomslayer; being able to utilise all of his extensive capabilities to annihilate demon scum at a frenetic pace without getting bruised. You will get bruised learningI think this game is a masterpiece. It's absolutely gorgeous to look at, hectic to play and so cleverly designed. From one point-of-view, the entire game seems to be one gradually paced tutorial in how to become the ultimate Doomslayer; being able to utilise all of his extensive capabilities to annihilate demon scum at a frenetic pace without getting bruised. You will get bruised learning how to do this, but by the end your competence in abilities will have you zipping around in a blur like an unstoppable, godlike killing machine with the viscera of your slain foes raining down around you in a mist of blood, giblets and fireballs. It's everything Doom should be. The Doomslayer is such a baddass, and he makes you want to become the baddest badass you can be, and that's the whole point. There is no action shooter in the same class as this, that I've come across. The soundtrack is perfect, there is a lot of depth to mods and upgrades and limitless replayability with hunting secrets, achievements and unlocking abilities of many, many flavors. Platforming elements have been introduced which serve well to add a new dynamic to the gameplay. I found this game to be a little intimidating at first, but stick with it and you will understand why it's so great. I also find it more enjoyable and less frustrating than it's precursor.… Expand

    This is, by far, the best FPS I've ever played! So much action and entertainment that I never want to stop playing. Lots of quick thinking and some problem/puzzle solving, both creating an amazing game; it has to be one of my favorites. Would 100% recommend to everyone!

    Everything that I could I've asked from a DOOM game and much more. In this era of corporate greed and games destroyed by p2w and toxic multiplayer there is one who middle fingers them and proves once in for all that singleplayer is still relevant.

    Oh my god.... So this game is great. its fun and just enjoyable really working upon what DOOM (2016) laid down. But god, oh holy great one this game can get hard. im trying out a %100 Nightmare run and im losing my mind. and im gonna try Ultra Nightmare that is nightmare but one life the whole time. i dont know why im commiting so much but i must.

    Pretty much improves almost everything from Doom 2016 to be one of the best shooters of all time. The flaws of bad third act, game getting repetitive, combat lacking depth and being too braindead are gone. Anyone who prefers Doom 2016 is only nostalgia riding a good but heavily flawed game. Eternal is objectively better game period.

Я слушаю музыку из дума заместо другой. Я играю под неё (не только в дум), я тренируюсь под неё, гуляю под неё. Я Действительно могу перечислять плюсы (по моему мнению) этой игры, я могу рассказывать часами о том как обожаю играть в неё, хочу сделать себе тату с печатью Зверя, как мой дом заполняется мелкой атрибутикой а мои друзья каждые несколько дней видят от меня смс "Я прошел дум". Но зачем, ведь каждый для себя все сам решает. Я лишь хочу сказать спасибо создателям этой игры, создателям ДУМа, за те прекрасные сотни часов что я провел, занимаясь тем что РВУ и КРОМСАЮ демонов, пока не иссякнут. Вот уже 2 года для меня это лучшая игра (снова же, наравне с хл). Оно такая есть, и такой будет. Мой вам поклон, разработчики!… Expand

    I have to confess that I'm not a big fan of Doom. And Eternal didn´t change a thing. To me it´s just a generic boring shooter which feels quite a bit to long. To monotonous and after playing Doom from 2016 I really don´t see enough differences. None related to the gameplay, which is okay but in my opinion it should've developed furthermore. What bothers me more is that the levels are justI have to confess that I'm not a big fan of Doom. And Eternal didn´t change a thing.     A grand experience, just mindless killing and fun that is for the story mode and dlc. The bonus horde mode added recently adds a good challenge for the endgame players. The only bad thing is the battle mode which is rough around the edges and a bit unfair to the slayer player.

Ammos for guns are intentionally low so that you can keep on juggling them and create even more mayhem. This way combat never gets stale and it's brilliant. The music keeps pumping you on as you slaughter horde after horde. Surprisingly even the storyline is brilliant. Somehow they connected literally every DOOM game into one continuity, hence Eternal. There were so many "Holy **** moments, I couldn't even keep track of them. Can't actually believe it took me this long to play it.    … Expand

    This game is better than the prequel in almost every way. Its level design is as good. It has a variety of environments and even more enemies. More weapons and attachments to make the gameplay loop more satisfying. My favourite mission is the one on mars where you have to get the BGF weapon as it is a chaotic atmosphere.     WHAT A GAME. Banger a must play for sure, hype after hype after hype climax the final boss fight and everything was on point only thing that hindered the experiance for me was couple of bugs and 4-5 crashes but other than that was great enjoyed it alot.

    The combat mechanics are perfect. The story is a tad bit lackluster but this game puts gameplay before anything else. The fast-paced combat mixed with arenas that get more and more difficult as you progress. It's great. The marauder might annoy some people, however the game shows you how to fight one the first time.     Do you like parkour? Do you like micromanagement of resources? Do you like restrictive combat and never having any administration? Then you'll love this game. However, for me, this is the worst Doom game ever made.

    This game has an incredible campaign, some really nice fast paced game mechanics, the glory kills never get old, and this games' sountrack is absolutely amazing. Gun switching with the Doom series has never gotten old, and the weapons absolutely destroy. Nothing like killing the Demons of Hell.

    Better than 2016 Doom. Story added more depth to it and world felt more immersive than 2016 Doom.

    If you're looking for a deep and thought-provoking gaming experience that changes your outlook on life, look elsewhere. However, if you want a fast-paced, visceral shooter full of non-stop action and outrageous violence, you can't do better than Doom Eternal. If you liked 2016's offering you will love this follow up. It's a hell of a good time.

    Like Jason Statham’s character in Crank, Doom Eternal needs adrenaline every waking second. So long as you drown hordes of demons in their own blood, it feels like a perfect GOTY contender, but during quiet moments, Doom Eternal withers and forces you to ponder unpleasant questions. id Software needs to course-correct, otherwise we’ll be playing Super Doom Slayer’s Bros in a few years.
