    Nice game to relax to, you won't understand the story without watching like 2h of videos, but the game is not about the story, it's about slashing and shines in that aspect.

    Best single player FPS I've ever played. This game is incredibly involved, and that will likely be a huge obstacle for first time Doom Eternal players, and it might even enrage them; it did for me. I highly recommend at least keeping visual tutorials on. I personally turned off the tutorials that pull you to the demo room, but many of you might be tempted to turn off all tutorials. TurningBest single player FPS I've ever played. This game is incredibly involved, and that will likely be a huge obstacle for first time Doom Eternal players, and it might even enrage them; it did for me. I highly recommend at least keeping visual tutorials on. I personally turned off the tutorials that pull you to the demo room, but many of you might be tempted to turn off all tutorials. Turning off all of the tutorials will likely make every one of your big arena battles absolutely miserable because they throw every enemy, that you're supposed to understand how to fight at that point, at you in a single fight. It is really fun and exciting when you know the enemies weaknesses, because you are firing on all cylinders and using all your tools in the right way. All in all, great visuals, great gameplay, interesting story, 10/10 game in my book.… Expand

    I have already beaten the PS4 edition on my PS5 and both dlcs, But I love this game so freaking much and to be honest the PC version is better the controls are easy to adapt to and I am running a solid 250 fps.

    Amp up the difficulty to get the most out of this game. Story is alright, lore is better, gameplay top-notch. Recommend getting the DLC on sale, but they are a must. At their worst, it feels like more DOOM; at their best, the base game feels like a tutorial and this is where the real game starts.

    I must admit, the extra controls compared to 2016 were a pain to get used to, especially as i am a grade 11 dumb ass with 3 brain cells, but when you get used to it, its a whole new level of fun and saying i love it is an understatement. I learned how to play a speedy game like this from Shadow warrior 2, and that only just    Fun and family friendly, unless your family worships Satan.

    I will be honest, i did start on easy unlike everyone else, but to be honest, i would recommend it because if you are mentally slow like me, take awhile to learn new play styles, or just want stress relief through shotgun exorcism, it's fine to go easy. Nobody's judging you.

    As a final note, strangely i got a weird vibe from the boss design that made me think of a lot of styles from past video games, like pre-2013 i think. it was fun to have a game where i didn't have to sneak around or avoid a nuclear rocket powered bullet sponge with a sword the size of Texas. Really helps to feel like a game rather than just dark souls with a shotgun or a political statement.

    Much higher octane than the last game. Also a lot more brutal, almost to the point of being too hard. Around level 4 or 5 is when it really clicked though. Very worth it.

    Was skeptical at first about the game, but I started playing, then I couldn't stop. It's just so much fun. Lots of secrets to unlock, the battles are super fun. I love it!

    I am LOVING this game. I haven't tried multiplayer because the single player is so amazing. I was shocked at how much fun I was having. Soundtrack of heavy metal to go along with the murdering of demonic forces is one of the best combinations ever. Highly, highly recommend!

Doom has always felt more of a "Gamey Game" to me, and Doom Eternal is a huge step up from Doom 2016 in that sense by returning too its roots.     It's just 20+ hours of absolutely perfected FPS. Don't go in looking for deep character development or an intricate crafting system - all of that would just take away from being a superb FPS.

    I remember playing DOOM 2016 when I was younger. Coming back to the DOOM series 5 years later, by playing DOOM Eternal it feels so nostalgic to me, ripping and tearing through demons, I highly recommend this game.

    I played this game and had Quake III Arena flashbacks. You can appreciate what id have done here by merging the classic Doom gameplay with it's hundreds of onscreen demons and mixing it with Quake III-esque maps. Then they've tweaked and balanced the weapons and gameplay systems so that each wave will result in a huge number of satisfying chain kills in an extremely fast-paced and violentI played this game and had Quake III Arena flashbacks. You can appreciate what id have done here by merging the classic Doom gameplay with it's hundreds of onscreen demons and mixing it with Quake III-esque maps. Then they've tweaked and balanced the weapons and gameplay systems so that each wave will result in a huge number of satisfying chain kills in an extremely fast-paced and violent fashion. The end result? Something absolutely amazing. Visually this game will smash your GPU and produce some amazing visuals. There's a thumping metal soundtrack (if you like that sort of thing), and an incredibly playable and balanced game which lets you play-how-you-like with the huge number of perks you can add to your suit and weapons.     I've only completed the game on the easiest difficulty because I do find it quite challenging. Doom Eternal does such a good job of making everything spectacular. The gunplay? Amazing. The arenas? Always varying and great. The pace? Amazing. Incentive to explore every part of the level? With ammo drops, health/armor pickups, codex entries, collectibles and cheat codes, absolutely. EveryI've only completed the game on the easiest difficulty because I do find it quite challenging. Doom Eternal does such a good job of making everything spectacular. The gunplay? Amazing. The arenas? Always varying and great. The pace? Amazing. Incentive to explore every part of the level? With ammo drops, health/armor pickups, codex entries, collectibles and cheat codes, absolutely. Every level is so incredibly detailed, the scenery beyond the structures you walk around is stunning. Platforming isn't perfect, but I think it provides a little break between big arenas, and helps the flow of the game (this is a pretty controversial thing tho, some people are okay with it, and some people hate it). You can really formulate your own playstyle with the weapon variety and weapon mods that are accessible to you. It's fun, gory, fast-paced old school FPS game. Unlike DOOM 2016 it's not that dark atmospheric in-door game, it's more arcady (which I really like). This doesn't mean that I didn't like 2016.

    DOOM: Eternal is my favorite video game ever. This is due to the fast combat, the "combat loop" (the ability to use many different weapons for different types of combat, and the jaw-dropping graphics. This game introduced me to its franchise and stays true to its original designs. Good job to id!

    En fait, l'un de mes jeux préférés auxquels j'ai jamais joué et il peut encore être amélioré avec de **** changements. Il a certains des combats FPS les plus amusants jamais créés dans un jeu vidéo, il a non seulement une mécanique phénoménale, mais une conception ennemie complexe et une IA pour vraiment tester ces compétences. La direction prise avec l'histoire est bonne, mais peut êtreEn fait, l'un de mes jeux préférés auxquels j'ai jamais joué et il peut encore être amélioré avec de **** changements. Il a certains des combats FPS les plus amusants jamais créés dans un jeu vidéo, il a non seulement une mécanique phénoménale, mais une conception ennemie complexe et une IA pour vraiment tester ces compétences. La direction prise avec l'histoire est bonne, mais peut être améliorée en définissant davantage Doomguy comme un personnage et en rappelant aux gens pourquoi il est un maître chef fou qui veut tuer tous les démons, certains flashbacks font des événements de Doom 1,2 et 64 aideraient et donnerait également plus de répliques à l'acteur sous-estimé de Doomguy pour montrer à quel point il est capricieux. La valeur de rejouabilité de ce jeu n'est pas portée par le contenu post-jeu simplement par la force de la formule principale, je continue de jouer à tous les niveaux de ce jeu et c'est du dlc encore et encore et cela n'est pas encore ennuyeux. Le jeu est non seulement visuellement incroyable, mais aussi incroyablement bien optimisé pour un jeu de génération actuel (la taille du fichier est d'environ 20 Go de moins que le jeu précédent). La bande originale de ce jeu est vraiment emblématique, qu'il s'agisse de pistes de combat ou de morceaux d'ambiance, il n'y a pas un seul mauvais morceau de musique dans ce jeu, et cela vaut également pour la musique dlc. Je me surprends à écouter les morceaux du DLC en dehors du jeu plus que les morceaux originaux.… Expand

    Juego muy sólido. La música es para matar (y lo harás en abundancia). Si es nuevo, al principio se sentirá un poco abrumador, pero lo dominará rápidamente. Es un juego que sin disculpas te hace dominado. Es refrescante sentirse así si juegas juegos competitivos la mayor parte del tiempo. No puedo pensar en muchos protagonistas que sean tan rudos como Doom Slayer.

    Incredibilmente divertente da giocare. Ti richiede di imparare e di abbracciare le nuove meccaniche, ma una volta che lo fai è così soddisfacente giocare. Enormi quantità di divertimento. Ho appena completato il mio primo playthrough su incubo e non vedo l'ora di giocare ai dlc.
    Non ho avuto un singolo arresto anomalo e il gioco funziona perfettamente.

    Get the BASE GAME ONLY. Unless you want to slog through mediocre DLC. Like everyone said gameplay loop is really good and unlike some dumbasses say theres actually many creative ways to kill mobs. The combat tips aren't even the best ways to kill enemies just ignore it.

    I was surprised just how much I enjoyed this, being a huge fan of the old original Doom growing up. Fantastically optimized game that will look phenomenal even on older hardware. They've done a great job with this one, and I'm actually disappointed I waited so long to play it!

    Masterpiece for people who likes movements and dominating demons. It is however an ACT/FPS game. Which means if you do not like moving around, you might not enjoy the game as much as those who like flying everywhere all the time.This is one man army Titan Fall 2 with thousands of demons waiting for you to play with them.     I have never, ever played a game which feels this fluid, fun and engaging, this game deserves to be in history book, this should be what game devs strive for, not make a bunch of stupid option like stealth, loud ect, just focus on one aspect which is fun, and make you game that, I love this game to death, and I will always regard it as a master of game design and the best game of the millennium.

    The lore is simply wonderful, action and the usual Doom dismembering stuff. 11/10

    This game is amazing plays amazing looks amazing its just really good but idk i would recommend buying the first one before playing this one but not a necessity.

    If you like a challenge with smooth game mechanics, amazing graphics, ripping and tearing apart any and everything this is the game for you. While you are constantly killing demons the different opponents, glory kills, weapons, and difficulty keep it fresh and highly re-playable.     Doom Eternal is crack cocaine. I cannot recall the last time I ever waited for the night a game came out and waited until I could open it after preloading the game. I then played the game to near completion in one sitting until I nearly passed out from physical exhaustion as the sun crept through my window.     DOOM Eternal had a lot to live up to after DOOM (2016) and it beats it out in almost every way. All gameplay mechanics were taken up a notch from it's predecessor. The story is much more compelling and varying then the first title and the environment/atmosphere matches the game to a tee. DOOM Eternal is the best game to be released in the year 2020.

    I have enjoyed all the Doom games, this was no exception. After beating them I always liked using cheats to mess around a bit with. I dislike not being able to use them until after you neat a mish, and Only if you have gathered them previously .

    A great game for $60 and it is very replayable. The story is just as badass as the Doom Slayer. I played this game on Nightmare and it was refreshing to play a game that was well designed and optimized for fps.

    Doom Eternal is oddly a super refreshing throw back to the original FPS. No crazy convoluted story line. No dumb gimmicks. Just go kick some ass. And the music rocks too.

    Why dont they make more good video games instead of making more bad videogames i think that would be better maybe just copy doom eternal i guess because it was pretty good.

    If you're looking for a deep and thought-provoking gaming experience that changes your outlook on life, look elsewhere. However, if you want a fast-paced, visceral shooter full of non-stop action and outrageous violence, you can't do better than Doom Eternal. If you liked 2016's offering you will love this follow up. It's a hell of a good time.

    Like Jason Statham’s character in Crank, Doom Eternal needs adrenaline every waking second. So long as you drown hordes of demons in their own blood, it feels like a perfect GOTY contender, but during quiet moments, Doom Eternal withers and forces you to ponder unpleasant questions. id Software needs to course-correct, otherwise we’ll be playing Super Doom Slayer’s Bros in a few years.
