May 8, 2020Meh, not even close to 2016 one. always strugling for ammo, maps feels like they were made for mario... deleted if after an hour

May 6, 2020OUTSTANDING!
Rip and tear, until it is done.
Amazing gameplay, smooth as butter engine and an actual plot this time around, don't waste your time, go buy the game! -
May 5, 2020Holy **** This game is perfect. The soundtrack, the guns, the demons, the level design. All this together made me feel like a killing machine!

Apr 30, 2020Game COMPLETELY RUINED by gratuitous platforming that makes no sense.
Save your money. -
Apr 29, 2020A great game if you are cooped up in quarantine. Not so hard as to push people away, but challenging enough to make winning and pulling off things like combos rewarding. It could have calmed down with the cutscenes and cleaned the story more but the actual ‘game’ part is great.

Apr 29, 2020It's just **** the best I've been playing lately, waiting for the Doom 3 Remake !!!

Apr 27, 2020It's an OK game, but there's too much jumping around. The graphics are nice, the enemies are varied, but to me, this isn't Doom because of the mechanics.
Doom 2016 was WAY better, making this a disappointing follow-up. -

Apr 27, 2020It did everything doom 2016 did but more and better, i don't see why people are struggling with the difficulty and the the arcade feel is a bad thing.

Apr 26, 2020I have to hand it to id here, this game is **** brutal and great. The gameplay is one of the best parts of the game, there is platforming mixed with precise sharp and fast movement, also its carnage and then some, its a great great game to have some fun

Apr 25, 2020It's not fun to count every single bullet in DOOM game and to run every single corner in search of bullets instead of fighting. There are other issues too, even music is worse than in DOOM 2016. "Rip and Tear"? No, more like "Jump and Search ammo"! Disappointed.

LEVEL (Czech Republic)Jul 22, 2020The murderous amok simulator returns and is even more furious than before. Fantastic presentation and great fighting system are harmed only by annoying platforming sequences. [Issue#302]

May 1, 2020If you're looking for a deep and thought-provoking gaming experience that changes your outlook on life, look elsewhere. However, if you want a fast-paced, visceral shooter full of non-stop action and outrageous violence, you can't do better than Doom Eternal. If you liked 2016's offering you will love this follow up. It's a hell of a good time.

Apr 19, 2020Like Jason Statham’s character in Crank, Doom Eternal needs adrenaline every waking second. So long as you drown hordes of demons in their own blood, it feels like a perfect GOTY contender, but during quiet moments, Doom Eternal withers and forces you to ponder unpleasant questions. id Software needs to course-correct, otherwise we’ll be playing Super Doom Slayer’s Bros in a few years.
