    Feels like horse riding simulator cosplaying as Diablo game.

    All the fun aspect of Diablo 1/2/3 were ignore and put some random garbage thats was not fun

    This has been the worst gaming experience I have played in my 17 years of gaming. Developers are tone deaf to user feedbacks and constantly nerf game mechanics to make it harder for you to progress instead of offering end-game contents. It’s very disappointing to pay $90 for a game that feels very unpolished and constantly getting nerfed.

    Oof. What a monumental **** up by blizzard. How to kill your game in two months. 1. Ignore all player feedback. 2. Don't utilize the 20+ years of franchise experience in crafting great stories and gameplay
    3. Nerf all classes, builds, damage, defenses, resistances, leveling friends, group play, and overall game play fun. 4. Profit?

    Get ****ed Blizzard.

    I like it ok when it launched. I had it at 8/10 knowing it had flaws that could easily get patched out. But multiple patches later and Season 1 about to drop I cant help but update my review after the latest "6600 Word" patch (1.1.0). They made the game grindier, longer, harder, and less rewarding. Introduced gatekeeping of the more fun aspects of the game while not addressing any ofI like it ok when it launched. I had it at 8/10 knowing it had flaws that could easily get patched out.     Diablo 4 is what happens when you have 20 years of framework for a franchise, and then throw in greedy developers who don't actually play video games. The frustration of this game is similar to standing next to a lottery winner.     Poor game experience due to the latest update. The management team & Designer of Diablo 4 should review the details of the latest updates.

    Game company not consider players feeling. Only want to extend the game life cycle by adding more difficulties to players such as experience reduction.

    Yesterday came the pre Season 1 patch, that changed everything - for worse. It was nothing but one long nerf to everything that made our characters feel powerful and satisfying: character power, experience gained, loot (in a LOOT BASED GAME ffs). They even made a "teleport from the dungeon" action longer for some reason, lol. Why all this? To make people reroll to the Seasonal realms, in which the characters might find some paltry compensation for all that lost power in form of some borrowed power mechanics.    … Expand

    Boring endgame, Boring Season Content, low mob density, bad itemization, feeling of progression is lost etc. … instead of improving the endgame Blizzard just slows the progression. Latest patch is a joke…from goty to unplayable before Season 1 even starts.

    This game was pretty boring before the patch, now I have zero desire to play. How about making your game fun? Also, I would really like to know who decided it was a good change to increases the leave dungeon timer to 5 seconds. What a joke.

    They killed the game just before season 1 congratz blizzard. Every character is nerfed and with longer cooldowns nothing is fun to play anymore. We take more dmg, less exp. Hope they fix it or this thing won't be playable.

It's a bad feeling to think a company is feeling like they made a mistake by giving us too much for $100 and now they need to take some away. It would be great if there was a diverse amount of ways to do damage but this is currently a game where you work towards one specific min/max build for one month and never even perfect it due to drop rates just to have it nerfed tomorrow.… Expand

    Enjoyed the game at launch but no longer worth playing. The devs don't listen to the player base at all and can only assume have never actually played the game. With the 1.1 patch they just nailed the coffin shut ruining 100's of hours of grinding for tons of players. Don't waste your money or time on this game

    Grew up with D1, binged D2, skipped D3 because of AH and no PvP fiasco till later season, was hyped for D4. Got a couple hours in: 85 Barb & Sorceress in closed beta, all other classes in the open betas, 2x lvl 100 in the released version.

    Does it feel like a finished AAA game? Absolutely not.     QoL. I gave them the doubt of catching up to what people want, somewhere between "NO CHANGES vanilla WoW" masochists & people whi come from a more recent generation and ARPG games. Like PoE, Last Epoch, Undecember, D3, etc. I am not doubting anymore. I am sure now old Blizzard is definitely dead and it's name is just used by a cash grab company that cares about quick profits but not about making games for people anymore.    … Expand

    Do not buy this game if you haven't already. Diablo 4 is a broken joke. Still broken quests, glitches, bait and switches with their patching. Another game focused on grabbing cash instead a consistent, satisfied player base.

    These last two have been addressed very recently, but it cements the fact that THEY HAVE NO FORESIGHT TO COMMON SENSE ISSUES. This is likely to be the theme moving forward and further supports the feeling that everyone keeps stating: This is just another beta test.    … Expand

The ending was super lackluster and nothing about this experience felt rewarding and what they had left in grinding lvls or item hunting, is fully throttled and actively tweaked on the whim. If players find something that works, again, they patch it out because you can't have any classes designed to actually do well in this game. I can turn on Diablo 2 and replay it anytime, and have more fun, than anything offered by this brand new version. It's total crap.

    All was fun until they decided to kill the game. Sorcerer has been a pain to play since the game launched, and now their new patch made sure no one will ever touch that class again.

    While the future of the game is anyone’s guess, at present Diablo IV is a solid, but strangely unambitious take that fails to bring much new to the table. By the end of my travels, I was more than willing to put it down and take a break — somewhere amongst all the grinding, Diablo IV had unfortunately ground me down as well.
