    Game wasn't much anymore.. came a patch and he finished the rest..
    bad communication between players.. repetitive... slow to lvl up, bad balance between classes, the price is too high for what it offers, the end of the game few things to do.
    boring and repetitive. weak game play... big price.. Score 0 is good to him.

    Do not waste your money on this terrible MMORPG. It should be the game to provide the fun to player who bought this game, but this game is keeping treating player by nerf. It is unfriendly game and it will jeopardize your health (especially your brain).

    Im so convinced that the ppl who made decision don't play this game at all. The game has so much potential. But ruined by the those balance patches. Lots unnecessary nerfs make this game less fun to play. They really want ppl playing with their way. Why you do that to a almost single player game. We just want to kill some mobs and farm gears.     This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. It was an incredibly exquisite event that managed to deceive the media into giving the game high scores.
    The execution, however, was extremely rough and much worse compared to previous competitions. It seemed as though they threw away everything they learned from "Diablo 3" and decided to repeat the same mistakes.
    They adopted the disliked RNG (Random Number Generator) type from D3 and amplified it tenfold.
    The endgame design was extremely foolish. Imagine having only daily and world quests in "World of Warcraft," but your equipment self-destructs, and you have to replace it every week for no apparent reason.    … Expand

    Wow, where to begin. My PC is on the upper end of the spectrum, it's not tip top but it should easily run this game. My experience with this game since launch was one of constant massive frame rate drops due to a game breaking VRAM issue where the textures from zones would not clear as I entered new zones (I was running a GTX 3070). Blizzard refused to admit to the issue until veryWow, where to begin. My PC is on the upper end of the spectrum, it's not tip top but it should easily run this game. Blizzard refused to admit to the issue until very recently, making me and other players question if our system specs were to blame, but finally admitted to the problem and said they were going to fix it with the new patch. Unfortunately, the new patch basically broke the rest of the game. Sure, now I can play without all the frame rate drops, but now they want us to pay for the battle pass in a play to win scheme. If you want to have a viable character you are more or less required to buy the battle pass. I would have hoped they would have learned a lesson about this behavior from the Diablo 3 release, but alas, is seems they are doomed to repeat their mistakes. Even with the frame rate drops I would have been willing to continue playing the game and even buy the battle pass just for the aesthetic bonuses, but now given the blatant greed on display I will be moving on. I understand the need to fix game breaking builds like the druids ability to do a billion point hit, but the nerfs they introduced have broken legitimate builds that were fun to play. Hopefully they will roll back this nonsense in the upcoming patch, but until then I will be gaming elsewhere.… Expand

I had hopes this game would get better, but after the season 1 nerf patch, including the gimpy season one gameplay, I have lost all hope in Diablo 4.     Droga gra w którą nie można sobie pograć bez połączenia z Internetem.
    Dodatkowo podczas otwarcia sezonu, serwery nie wyrabiały wiec nie można było grać. Dodatkowo gra się wysypuje podczas grania. Gra serii AAA ale działa jak jakiś early access. Błędy w przeliczaniu skili i całe strony poprawek błędów. Ogólnie straszna lipa.
    Dodaje ocenę 2 ze względu na przyjemną fabułę.

    - Maximum boring missions
    - Boring dungeons - Very few new mechanics.     - Complete lack of sense to continue the game after reaching level 100, although in essence dibalo has always been an endless game in which you can always develop and grow. Here, of course, there is an opportunity to grow, but the chance of this is minimal..... better not even try.

It's insane that the massive company fixated on unnecessarily making this game an always-online pseudo-MMO can't get basic network stability right.

    Assuming you're able to log into    Diablo 4 has massive connectivity problems, half the time you can't log in, half the time you log in you get suddenly disconnected (RIP hardcore characters), there are even problems sending party invitations. It's insane that the massive company fixated on unnecessarily making this game an always-online pseudo-MMO can't get basic network stability right.

    Assuming you're able to log into this always-online wonderland, until level 70 or so the game is great, it returns to the gothic horror of earlier Diablos rather than the Saturday morning superhero cartoon of Diablo 3. The story and quests are interesting and contains subtlety that has eluded Blizzard for at least a decade.

    However you'll spend the majority of your time in an endgame designed by people who are surprised that players don't like being chain-CC'd, oneshot from offscreen, or playing around on-death effects. For a company that helped create the ARPG genre and should have decades of institutional knowledge, not to mention years of iteration on the Diablo 3 endgame, this instalment appears to be created from scratch by amateurs who think that their 1997-era bad ideas are the most profound thing ever. Combined with Blactivision's unquencheable thirst for goodwill-destroying cash-grabs, your experience after finishing the story will truly be an eternal grinding hell of random deaths and worthless loot.

    World bosses are interesting until you hit world tier 3, after which they literally die in 5 seconds. The damage formula has obvious issues around stacking and build-warping and bucket accessibility, but Blizzard's galaxybrains couldn't figure that out during years of development, and need to be scolded by paying customers to understand. Seasons are an obvious content recycling scheme that would be less distasteful if they actually added significant changes, but it's a tiny questline and some legendary gems from Diablo 3. I wouldn't be surprised if the majority of the casual and hardcore players left before Season 2 to play a better game, really anything else.    … Expand

    I bought ultimate edition and very dispointed in this game. Too much bugs (big ping) . Season 1 it's boring. Premium battle pass is useless thing. Currently i don't feel that game cost 100€.

Almost no changes in skill functions, you only get bigger damage numbers.. There is so few unique items and most of them are not really fun. The stash tab space is also a big problem, but (Activison )The game is just unfinished and (Activision) Blizzard just wants our money. Items have so boring stats that i have never seen anything similar in a RPG game. The game is also not ballanced. This was my worst 70 dollars spent and i am a Diablo fan. I have playes D1,D2,D3 for thousands of hours, but this is ultimate disappointment. The quest and the battle pass has extremely boring quests. The game could be xxxx times better. I hope Blizzard will read some critics of their fans and will fix the issues. The list could go on, but i thing i have mentioned quite a lot of things which bothers me.     Failure and misstep after failure and misstep. Game looks great on the surface but after spending even just an hour with it you realize there just isn't anything there. No meaningful gameplay loop, no meaningful loot chase, no variation in maps literally nothing that makes an arpg an arpg. This was a flashy show for investors and media hype but there just isn't a game worth playing here.

The greed of this company is disgusting. They killed any respect I had for this company. Their support is nonexistent. I will never pre-order any Blizzard game ever again.     After s1, they sold a beta. Graphics/Sound/Story very good but... The gameplay is inferior to many current games, It's a game that ends at lvl 70, there's nothing interesting to do after that level, problems in the game system, damage, resistances, stashes, boss fights, repetitive dungeons... wait 1 year to see if the real game comes out.

You have a horse that should be fun riding it but is just annoying every time it clips with literal nothing and invisible BS, no trading system, scaling difficulties only make you not want to level up anymore ever again.     This game is trash. Maybe they improve it over time, but I imagine the only thing they will improve on is further monetization. PoE is better in every level. You could buy a 5 dollar game from a small developer that has more depth. The only great thing about this game are the pathetic few cinematics. I generously give it a two, because it is functional...ish.

However, it drags at times, and it can be too repetitive. it could have good replay value, as one tries out different character classes, but in its current form, I don't think the game play is rewarding enough to make such exploration rewarding. Given the wealth of other games out there to explore, this just isn't worth the time, especially for anyone with other time commitments.

    I think it is an enjoyable game, but for many gamers it is currently a 1-playthrough-and-done with a substantial risk that their character build is destroyed mid-story in a way that isn't going to happen in many other games. In its current form, it simply doesn't justify its current price. I regret paying more than $20 for this.    … Expand

    Game full of game breaking bugs. They break economy, class balances and every aspect of game. This incompetence of developers is absurd. They probably don't have any Q&A team. There are 3 out of 5 playable characters, gem which bugs all damage from everyone in radius which also throws any damage balance out of window. Also there was bug for infinity gold loop, so economy is dead. And I'mGame full of game breaking bugs. They break economy, class balances and every aspect of game.     Game deserved a 1 or 2/10 for having MTX and being a live service game. Simple as. It’s also poorly replicated the Diablo tone in lore and story, and ultimately is boring and unfulfilling. Everything about the game is designed to get you to buy MTX.

    I enjoy playing D1, D2... I dislike D3.... I was going to skip D4 but after I tried D4 beta, I general felt the fun with my friend. That makes me purchase a NV card and get the D4.

    I don't have much time to play, only a couple of hours every others day and some weekends. I have the fun similar to what I had in beta. Of course, with very little time I invested in the game, I level very    I enjoy playing D1, D2... I dislike D3.... I was going to skip D4 but after I tried D4 beta, I general felt the fun with my friend. That makes me purchase a NV card and get the D4.

Of course, with very little time I invested in the game, I level very slowly but it still fun to go after the story, do a few of side quests.... The fun stopped after story is finished. It seems all you have to do are dungeons.... But I have tons of side quests not finished yet and walking around the map killing "causal" monster seems doesn't matter anymore.

    And then the patch 1.1.0.... It seems intentionally trying to ppl like me... making the game from not so fun to become boring and frustrating...    … Expand

Multiplayer is horrible. End game is atrociously boring. Remember when there was a chance to get a COA unique drop on every Chaos run, well you can forget about that in D4. What you will find are 50 million legendaries with meaningless stats and skills that help you out 0% unless you want to spend 3 hours rearranging your entire skill “tree” and paragon point system for the chance that it might feel like you’re doing 1% more damage. However, By far the worst mechanic in D4 and I mean someone should be shot for this, is the parallel enemy leveling system. Want to feel OP like every other RPG at least some point in the game I.e approaching endgame. Well too **** bad, every enemy is going to be 2-3 levels higher than you so go f yourself. Best case scenario….Microsoft buys Blizzard, fires everyone and abandons all Diablo games except D2R servers.… Expand

    I decided to finish the main campaign before reading reviews and making a conclusion, so here it is.

    Just a note, I only played one class (Was recommended to play through a single class before trying a new one), and my hardware isn't the best, but also not the worst.     The Good:

    - Great Graphics (Also see "Bad" below)
    - Interesting enough Main Story
    - Combat is mostly fun (If you get your abilities juuuuust right. See below).

    The Bad
    - The skill "tree" (more like a linear line) is very simplistic. If you don't pick exactly some meta build, it's going to be a struggle bus all the way, hitting regular mobs with your builder at least 10 times before they drop dead as a druid, is not what I call fun. Being one-shot by a regular mob, as a bear druid, is not fun.

    - The passives on the skill tree don't change your ability in any meaningful way. Mostly just extra stats or "x is now y type damage". (Not like how they could change your ability such as in Diablo 3).

    - If you don't have a beast of a machine, you're going run your graphics on low, and it's going to look really bad. Like really really bad. There is no mid setting. You either have awesome graphics or Diablo II level graphics.

    - No offline mode. Why oh why am I forced to play online?! Multiplayer is great only if I opt into it, with the people I want to.

    - Treasure Goblins.... why even bother. The drop is less impressive than a regular chest.

    - Level scaling undermines any progress you think you make. You've levelled your character all the way to level 50, but somehow still feel like your struggling exactly as much as you did when you started at lvl 1.

    - Leveling is SLOW and unrewarding. Once you hit level 50, it is painfully slow to get to level 100. I hit level 50 around 2/3 through the main quest line and was level 51 when I finished it. This included doing any side quest I could find.

    The Ugly:

    - Game crashed a crazy number of times, sometimes in the middle of a boss battle.

    - Don't even THINK of leaving an area if you're in the middle main campaign quest. I followed a treasure goblin out of an area, lost the item I was carrying, and had to do everything again, including a boss battle.

    - Rubberbanding is real. Running somewhere, oh no you're back to where you were 2 seconds ago.

    - The online store. This is a big one for me. If I'm going to a premium AAA price for a game, to have all the "cool" appearances locked in the online store, that just feels very greedy to me. Additionally, said appearances cost coins, said coins cost really moolah, and at the end of the day, a single appearance can cost you almost as much as the game itself. Lunacy!

    Conclusion

    The game had enough going for it that I wanted to finish by the main campaign, however, it was a struggle all the way, often taking a break every couple of days between rounds. Ultimately, running through big packs and killing hordes of mobs felt frustrating rather than fun. The regular crashes were frustrating, and having the online shop constantly rubbed in your face almost completely detracted from any good this game had. The dark oppressive horror remains, but ultimately the spirit of the game is gone.    … Expand

    Fun for as long as the campaign lasted, end game is atrocious, gear progression atrocious, dungeons stale, and build variety lacking. You'd think with all their time on a series they'd figure out a few things. Just go play Path. You will find its a little harder to grasp at entry, but pays off sooooo big at endgame.

    1. The plot is weak, and the logic is nonsensical.
    2. The late game is boring, just grinding in nightmare dungeons, hmm.
    3. All sorts of balance claims to let players enjoy the game, but you nerf anything that makes players happy. Secretly altering equipment affix priorities, polluting the affix pool with junk affixes – I spent billions of gold coins refining four rings and didn't even get a decent roll!
    4. Bugs are everywhere, and you're taking forever to fix them.
    5. Dozens of gems are holding up the trashy first season. There's no fun, if you're having trouble sleeping, play Diablo 4; it'll put you to sleep for sure.
    6. Arrogant attitude. When players pointed out that the dungeon designer doesn't even know how to play Diablo, you swiftly closed the comments at the speed of light. In the face of numerous suggestions and criticisms, all you do is host campfire livestreams, making empty promises without ever making real changes!

    before season 1 everything is okay, it's fun to play but when season 1 begin evething falls apart. blizzard can't even keep the server stable, lag and disconnect everytime i play. characters became unbalanced in season 1. It's not a bad game but blizzard destroys their masterpiece.

    The only good thing about this game is combat feel and non Black/white character as Lilith.

    All good hack n slash fundamentals have been thrown away for the sake of cashgrabbing techniques. Have fun being beta testers with annual paid dlcs.

    I've played the Diablo franchise since its inception, and this version is, by far, the most boring and lackluster experience of them all.

    Now that i have shared my summary of the review, I'll add a few more details to my opinion. PROs - 1. Graphics are pretty and the open world concept is to be applauded. I really enjoyed being able to move across the world, as it is large. 2. The    I've played the Diablo franchise since its inception, and this version is, by far, the most boring and lackluster experience of them all.

    Now that i have shared my summary of the review, I'll add a few more details to my opinion.

    PROs -
    1. Graphics are pretty and the open world concept is to be applauded. I really enjoyed being able to move across the world, as it is large.
    2. The campaign was one of the better in the series and I actually enjoyed playing through it. It was very easy, but enjoyable.

    CONS -
    1. This is a live service game, meaning it requires a constant internet connection, and you are at the mercy of Blizzard having the servers operational. They control the game and any changes, and you are just a player in their world.
    2. Combat is beyond boring, and loot is as well. Plenty of comments have been made about these two aspects so I'd recommend you read up on them as well for a more detailed analysis.
    3. After you beat the campaign, the real part of the game begins, and this is where it fails miserably. To summarize why it is fails. When you beat the campaign at level 50 or so, there is no reason to level further. Loot and power stays relatively the same from level 50 to 100. The game does introduce "paragon" points to help give the player some semblance of power increase, but the game also increases the power of the monsters you fight, making it a pretty similar power creep between the two. With the latest patch 1.1, the developers felt it was necessary to decrease this power creep for you, so it actually becomes harder and more of a slog to kill and enjoy the leveling process.

    As the game stands now, it is in terrible shape. Avoid until Blizzard figures out how to make this game actually fun from level 50 to 100. The game is enjoyable for the campaign only, but not for the asking price of $69.99    … Expand

In all honesty, this is my first Diablo game and enjoyed the first 40 hours with my friends, but realized I wasn't getting anything back for my time. The legendaries and good loot wouldn't be enough for me (Sorcerer) to be viable in the ene game content compared to other classes. When you've done all the statues and main story, things fall off after level 70 because you're left with nothing new to do. Tree of Whispers becomes repetitive, world bosses don't spawn enough, helltides are now bugged. You're left grasping for straws trying to get a unique in hopes it will being back the dopamine of fun you had in the beginning.… Expand

    I feel bad for those who designed the graphics and gameplay cause they did a great job.
    But those who decide everything else, it is so bad. All releated to menus, items, is atrocious. But what i hate more is the Stash, it is so limited i cannot play the game anymore cause i have no space to keep my loot.

    I enjoyed it the first time through the campaign, up until about level 60. It was then, I knew... this game was done. I am going back to PoE.

We are getting no QoL features, social features, interesting endgame/content, we are getting exp nerfs, helltide nerfs, damage nerfs, survivability nerfs, and class nerfs, plus i'm probably forgetting something.     The UI is a complete step backwards from Diablo 3. In game customisation and reforging is so expensive, you can spend your entire worth and still not get an affix you want. Unlike Diablo 3, the game doesn't tell you possible affixes you can re-roll.

    Diablo 2 and 3 has set items to seek out, with unique bonuses when you matched sets. Diablo 4 doesn't have that. God knows why? Maybe to keep as a carrot dangling for the future to keep people playing.

    Speaking of that. The game seems to have been designed to keep Daily Average Users. They have nerfed major sources of EXP that players found. They nerfed exp gain in general. They just nerfed all major classes in the game and reduced the power of all of the meta builds. They have held off adding set items. Why? Why nerf player power and progression, unless you wanted to slow it all down in order to keep people playing longer.

    Well the opposite has happened. We see this skinner box for what it is. It is a shallow version of the two better prequels. At least in Reaper of Souls, the Diablo team back then leaned into giving players a sense of power fantasy and let us have fun with crazy, powerfui builds. It was fun.

    Pretty and honestly was fun for main story. Latest patch made most characters unplayable and literally sucked any joy out of the game. The team came from World of War craft and failed to see that an ARPG is different from a MMORPG. Save your money and do not purchase this.

    They absolutely butchered the game after the first "major" patch. The character I have spent nearly 200 hours is unplayable now. Less damage and dies instantle when 2 days before I was having great fun. No thanks. Absolute garbage now.

    And as if to twist the knife, the game's pace has been further slowed down, the battles are now longer and more tedious, the experience gain has been reduced to a crawl, and we are confined to lower world tiers as if being punished for wanting more from the game we paid for.

    Blizzard's obsession with creating an imbalanced balance in a single-player PVE game is not just misguided but completely out of touch with what makes a game enjoyable. Their energies and resources, we, the players, feel, would have been much better spent on introducing engaging and immersive content.

    But as it stands, Diablo IV feels like a grand potential squandered, a beautiful idea ruined by apathy, and a monumental disappointment. The current state of the game is nothing short of a glaring testament to how not to treat a player base. It is an affront to every player who parted with their hard-earned money in the hope of an immersive and exciting gaming experience.

    I am not just disappointed but infuriated by the blatant disrespect this shows towards the community. The utter disregard for the players' feedback, the brazen indifference to the game's glaring flaws, and the audacious release of such a destructive patch has left me, and I am sure many others, absolutely livid.     Not since the NGE in Star Wars: Galaxies has a single patch so thoroughly ruined a gane. D4 wasn't good before this patch, and it's *terrible* after the patch. This team has no idea what they're doing. It might be years before D4 is in a playable state.

    The overworld is basically useless. Overworld doesn't drop anything of value. The Dungeons have absolutely no story line. Its just a bunch of random repetitive dungeons. The patch i don't even wanna go over that. What a joke.

But then the 1.10 patch came that made it a slog xp wise on the eternal realm, nerfed all characters in order to funnel us to the battle pass and seasons. So now it wasn't really fun before, but now its like a second job. I want to play on the Eternal Realm AND the Seasonal pass.     Have thousands of hours in Path of Exile and other ARPGs, had some hopes to maybe buy this game sometime after release. And after the latest patch notes.... those hopes are gone...

    Was not that surprised after OW2 disaster tbh, hopes are gone for Blizzard in general at this point...

    I feel that the developers of this game are totally incapable of making this game fun. In fact they are working hard on the opposite. They are really slow on making good changes but really fast ruining the gameplay. I am really sad that i wasted 70 eur on it :(

    While the future of the game is anyone’s guess, at present Diablo IV is a solid, but strangely unambitious take that fails to bring much new to the table. By the end of my travels, I was more than willing to put it down and take a break — somewhere amongst all the grinding, Diablo IV had unfortunately ground me down as well.
