    The game is fun and really good, but just because of the horrible predatory monetization, this game deserves 0 and should be banned from all countries. I can't believe this is a Blizzard game.

    This "game" is basically a gambling pay to win system designed to exploit the 1% of gamers into spending ludicrous amounts of money to make their character better. It is abhorrent that this is allowed to be produced. More countries need to make the move like Belgium to ban these products from being sold with blatant gambling and malpractice.

    Have been a fan of the Diablo franchise for a long time but this is absolutely awful. with someone with crippling finance, I should not have to fork out a single penny to play a game after I brought it. what blizzard has done to this game should be illegal. I am extremely disappointed and hope and pray to god every night that this does not happen with Diablo 4

    Gave it a shot - 60 (P20). Not able to progress my character very well, walled off by paywalls and caps. lots of effort for little reward. If i did get a Gem upgrade I won't be able to level it as a F2P player as the amount required is insane. Yes I could get P30 but then what? Stuck with progression until P80 but that's 2 months away as it's locked behind server level. Then what? P100?Gave it a shot - 60 (P20). And it's unfortunate because the core gameplay isn't bad - I'd pay $50 once for this game, but I wouldn't pay literally tens of thousands of dollars in microtransactions for it.

    RIP blizzard.. I don't even really care about the p2w aspects of the game, which are obviously terrible. The gameplay is horrible. 0 challenge. Dumbed down to the max. its basicly a sclotmachine with graphics. Not worth anyones time, how people can spend money on trash like this amazes me, not worth a single penny and even moreso not worth a single second of your valueable lifetime!

    This is an online casino with Diablo theme, where you unfortunately win nothing.
    I liked the story, it was nice to fill the blank space between 2 and 3. Nicely adapted on Mobile, PC version still quite buggy.
    But after story concludes, its just endless grind and temptation to spend cash for a small chance to speed up progress.

    Even if the p2w aspects of the game were removed or minimized, the core game is a poor knockoff of Diablo 3. The game is designed so that you must play it every day or else you'll be punished, FOMO model + advantages you gain for swiping your credit card, F2P are whale food, plankton, krills, fishies.

    Legendary gems are the worst by far. If you don't spend a lot of money, you will never, ever, have even a chance of getting decked out in the best gear. Getting a desirable 2/5 star legendary gem just to rank 5 (out of 10) will cost you 475 one star gems AND 7 copies of the gem that are very rare to acquire in the first place. Legendary crests which guarantee a single legendary gem drop after an Elder Rift (the only place in the game they drop from, and they won't drop without a crest) can be acquired at the rate of 2-3 per month if you don't spend money. And most of the time, the crest will drop a one star gem. Given that there are six gem slots, and the above is for just one, you understand that you will likely grow old and croak it before you ever approach this goal.

    The game conditions you early on to spend money by offering you very cheap bundles that contain legendary crests. These bundles get progressively more and more expensive. To buy crests for the paid currency eternal orbs works out at ten for roughly £22. You can slot ten crests into a rift at any one time that will give you ten legendary gems (which will be mostly one star, with a 1/2000 chance for a 5/5 star). Even if you are lucky enough to get a very desirable gem after spending this money, all that lies before you is to spend even more money to rank that gem up (see the costs above for a rank 5 coveted gem).

    As a psych grad, trust me: this game looks and feels like Diablo, but at its core it is a casino where every system is designed to keep you paying. If you play this Diablo game like the previous instalments, in that you want the best for your character, understand that you cannot beat this system. Do not throw your money away. Enjoy it for what it is, but don't spend money you don't have. This game is designed to exploit you and to foster addictive behaviours.

    There are layers upon layers of pay to win mechanism in this game. Without paying hundreds of dollars, dont expect to progress. The in game purchases to upgrade is per character, not per account. Stay away from this game.

    Finished the main story and leveled up to 60 but the predatory microtransactions are the worst I've ever seen in a PC game, the end game is dominated by people who pay thousands of dollars and anyone else stands no chance.

    I am not writing this review because DI is a bad game in terms of gameplay. I am writing this review after logging enough hours to be paragon 17 during the first weekend of the game. I have looked at every angle this game is trying to fleece its players for cash. As Blizzard has worked hard to wreck their reputation already, there isn't much to lose for them on that front.     This game is a crisp slap in the face of all the evil manipulative **** that the gaming industry has become. That it comes from Blizzard is tragic. Playing this "game" feels like supporting the destruction of something you love. Like doing nothing and watching a family member lose themselves to drugs.

    At first I thought it's a decent game. But gameplay is repetitive and boring. The worst thing is that you are forced to pay for any substantial progress.

    PvP can't be won without investing thousands of dollars. Late game is grinding loot supported by even more thousands of dollars. You can't even get the best gear without spending thousands of dollars. 1000 years of uninterrupted    At first I thought it's a decent game. But gameplay is repetitive and boring.     I would give this game a -10, it is utter trash. Besides the fact that it would take a couple of lifetimes to get good gear(my grandchildren's grandchildren might make it if they keep playing with the same character i played with), it is not responsive at all, it doesn't register clicks a lot of the times, it has numerous glitches and if you don't pay up do not expect to have any sort ofI would give this game a -10, it is utter trash.     Diablo is the most beloved franchise to me. Trying this game and afterwards reading the comments of Whyatt Cheng was one if not the biggest gaming dissapointments in my life.|

    Shame on me that believed and whiteknighted for this dead shell of a company. Another client with a full blizzard library of games lost.

    Us mere mortals die while those who spent $20,000 laugh with the high end unobtainable gear. The concept releasing to market is an embarrassment made more so by those who are spending this kind of money.

    the pc port is not really working right most of the times and you will end up tanking attacks because you can not get away because a click on the ground can be seen by this games as a click on an enemy!
    then your run click can easly get stuck and you might not be able to control your character which is also a bug they still havent fixed seeing that other also and still got this problem!
    it mostly looks and has a story like diablo but its maps are so short with the story and all that it just doesnt feel right to me as also the loot is very much missing most of the times(i had no loot except from quests from level 1 to 12 nothing from mobs) and so i can not acknowledge this game if its even a game and not just a bank for blizzard which doesnt need to pay anything back or give you jack... as a diablo its just missing in my eyes far too much and is a greedy and player unfreindly product!    … Expand

    Diablo Immortal is a simplified and more accessible version of the series that can still provide hours of mindless fun and entertainment. Sadly, the games suffers in the long run because of all the tedious grinding and the greedy monetization system, making a game experience that starts as very enjoyable much less so as time goes on.

    Diablo Immortal seems like a project created with the sole purpose of using the good name of Diablo to rub the players of their money. Definitely one of the worst games ever came out of Blizzard.
