    AMAZING GAME, RUINED BY MONETISATION.

    I've gotten to lvl 60+7 and even tho the leveling part was fun, and I tried to ignore the minor pay walls, it just dawned on me that in order to level my legendary gems up I will need to invest a lot of money in this game. The gems that drop on free to play are capped at 2 stars, so that means even if I grind them all I won't be able to get better    AMAZING GAME, RUINED BY MONETISATION.

    It's not about the fact that it requires you to pay money to go through the content. A company SHOULD make money for making a game, and you can absolutely do microtransactions right without making it this impossible to proceed without paying hundreds of dollars. I am saying this as someone who as always played p2w f2p games my entire life.     The old Blizzard who we all loved and grew up on is long gone. Diablo 2 LOD is my all time favorite game and this is just an insult to the legendary franchise. Blatant cash grab with no concerns about their players and complete disreguard for any ethical thinking.

    This game had so much potential, I'm genuinely upset because with a little bit of tuning and fixing up the PC port it would be good fun to play a few hours each day. I don't mind a lot more grinding as it is a game I can play on my phone whenever. When I enter a dungeon and kill a boss, I expect to see loot explosions everywhere, instead all I'm greeted with is a few blue items, unless IThis game had so much potential, I'm genuinely upset because with a little bit of tuning and fixing up the PC port it would be good fun to play a few hours each day. I don't mind a lot more grinding as it is a game I can play on my phone whenever. When I enter a dungeon and kill a boss, I expect to see loot explosions everywhere, instead all I'm greeted with is a few blue items, unless I buy the 800% value bundle, then I can experience the true Diablo feeling. This is just an embarrassment for the whole gaming industry as a whole.     I cannot recommend to any of my friends to play this game.

    WIthout monetization and all the hidden blockers this games could have become one the best mobile games. But in the current shape, stay away ... .

    It pains me too see an iconic game developing company go down the path of endless greed. I really dislike pay-to-win games but more than that I hate lootbox/gambling games. Unfortunately this game contains the worst of both worlds as it is P2W but also when you pay you basically need to still get lucky in order to get the items that you want… exactly like a loot-box mechanic… which isIt pains me too see an iconic game developing company go down the path of endless greed.     I got kicked in the groan by someone wearing steel toe'd industrial work boots. It was a more pleasant experience than playing Wyatt Cheng's Diablo Immoral. It's one thing to have a P2W mobile game with a mobile game exclusive company and / or EA. But Blizzard should be different. It isn't. They have been sharing the same morality as EA since Warcrud Refunded.

    Great game play but it is plagued by the Immoral amount of in-game purchases thrown at you. The psychological amount of damage and addiction it inflicts on the player is sickening. Never play this game unless you are the oil baron that has millions to blow on a greedy company.

    I have over 4k hours in D2, 2k hours in D3 (across multiple platforms). This cash grab farce is a disgrace to everything that we grew up with in the franchise, everything we grew to love blizzard for over 20+ years. They sink lower, and lower, and this is the absolute bottom of the barrel. Congrats Diablo team for really putting heart and soul into this one!

Effectively in the game it does not matter what you do, whoever spends more is the winner. FREE 2 PLAY, It did not make sense for blizzard to make a f2p game, they had the reputation, they could reach millions of players even if they sold the game. Even if you buy a Battle Pass, the game doesn't get a bit better or different - the few materials that are extra for it as well as the cosmetic items just can't convince. The chat is super toxic. Like, I saw racial slurs, death threats, anger, all because someone had a legit complaint for the game

    I feel the worst part is there is a solid lore with interesting NPCs to meet, both new and familiar, but the gameplay has made me not wanna go through the trouble.

    I really wanted to like this game. The combat felt nice but as I played more and more, I realized you could stand in every AOE, and just hold left click to win every fight. I got to paragon 8 I think, and then I got up to challenge rift 18. Every challenge rift before this was easy mode and it suddenly became impossible to progress. Not only are you required to use other gems to upgrade your gems, which is already nearly impossible as a f2p player, but you also have to upgrade a gem before you can use it as a material to upgrade a gem. Talk about ridiculous. I instantly uninstalled the game after discovering this. Blozzard can literally burn in Hell.… Expand

PVP had potential and could have easily been expanded on for more types of battles, like capture the flag, deathmatch, etc...     Diablo Immortal is a simplified and more accessible version of the series that can still provide hours of mindless fun and entertainment. Sadly, the games suffers in the long run because of all the tedious grinding and the greedy monetization system, making a game experience that starts as very enjoyable much less so as time goes on.
