    I played to lvl 35 to try the game. I played on the PC client. The optimization was sub par at best, it felt like a mobile game. Cant change resolution, no real graphic settings for something supposedly made for PC.
    As for gameplay, its a average to bad diablo experience. Id much rather play diablo 3 or diablo 2 resurrection.     None of this matters when the pay to win is taken into consideration. 1/2000 chance to get a 5 star gem from something you get once a month from playing. This game does not want free to play players to do well. The divide between free to play and pay to win players will widen as money is synced into the game. If a game's claim to fame is 100k US for a max char, i don't want to play it and i don't want to be part of a community that supports it.    … Expand

    This game from a game play standpoint is the best mobile game i have ever played..... but it it is completely ruined by the unbelievable amount of greed Activision/Blizzard have put forth with this game.     Looks and plays like any other mobile MMO with a client for PC (e.g. Albion). Except the client is a bit janky, specifically when you try to click an ally to revive them.

    Pay to win garbage. Blizz lost their soul. Very sad because the game had a lot of potential. I dream of the day that Blizz changes this to a real game and not a quick cash grab. They should also fire the people who made the decision to turn such a potentially awesome game into a greedy cash grab.

    Most p2w game I have ever played. Once you hit 60, f2p is almost useless. The gap for p2w and f2p is massive for endgame that make no sense for f2p or even small whale to play.

    The extreme pay to win and predatory tactics used in this game are despicable. its fun for the first few minutes until your progress grinds to a hault to incentivise you to pay upwards of six figures to max out your gems.

    You're forcing me to play your game with your daily login system and it's no longer fun! On the contrary it's f***ing stressful! I have to login every single day otherwise I'm missing out on rewards. It' frustrating that you're forcing people to play it because they have to, not because they want to.

    You're forcing me to play your game with your daily login system and it's no longer fun! On the contrary it's f***ing stressful! I have to login every single day otherwise I'm missing out on rewards. It' frustrating that you're forcing people to play it because they have to, not because they want to.
    An empowered battle pass and limited time offers, really!?
    Manipulating people with the fear of missing out is genuinely grim. Let's say I'm on vacation and I don't want to engage with my phone or lap top. No you can't, otherwise you're falling behind and you can't catch up, because everything has an expiration date.
    Progression is painfully slow and repetitive unless you have legendary crests which no one does unless you're a whale. You can add 10 legendary crests into a single rift, but you only obtain 1 legendary crest every now and then! This is insane! I'm at the point where I'm grinding 10 hours a day and get the same gear over and over again and I get nothing valuable. In raids and dungeons only the one who kills the boss gets a drop. If you're going to make it like that, at least implement an assist system, so everyone gets rewarded. Gem drops are extremely poor and 5 star legendary gems are impossible to obtain unless you're willing to pay huge amounts of money, which most people don't have. I understand that free to play games are monetised one way or another, but this is infuriating. You blatantly lied that only cosmetics will be acquired through the shop with real money, but that wasn't enough for you, was it?
    I hope Diablo 4 will be a classic diablo game, because this P2W micro transaction s**t killed it for me. I played 1, 2 and still playing Diablo 3, but not this. You tried to kill Diablo 3 with the auction house and thank God that didn't work out. It's so sad that you killed a game I grew up with and so eagerly anticipated. You're business model is disgusting and I can only imagine how you're going to ruin Diablo 4 as well with your never ending greed. I feel sorry for the actual people who worked on the game itself, because you destroyed their brilliant job and you're killing gaming for everyone. I pre-ordered Diablo 4 an year ago, because I wanted to support the company in tough times. I also pre-registered for Immortal an year ago and bought a new phone just to play your mobile version of the game! That's how much faith I had in your company and you literally spat in my face.     The first bullet point is gameplay first. This game is the complete opposite to gameplay first.

    Yes this game is free and the developers and creators should be paid. But this is taking advantage of people. Basically 0 ways to earn the coveted legendary crests to run rists to get that amazing loot. Because after all thats what diablo is all about.
    You offer 1 during the questline, 1 a month in the hilt shop and 1 in the battle pass for free. This game is all about money and blizzard should be ashamed of themselves but i think wyatt should be the most shameful saying basically the complete opposite of what the game actually is. This is next level gluttony. The fact that they avoid the term loot boxes by simply adding a fighting sequence in between the randomly generated gem speaks for itself. Don't play this and don't waste amy money on them. Oh but i forgot to mention. If you do decide to indulge in their awful game, you better choose carefully on which character to buy the battle pass or cosmetics on because they aren't account wide.     They copied assets from 10 year old Diablo 3, ported them to a Nokia 3110, then ported them back to pc with the biggest cash grab the world has ever seen. I'm not excited about Diablo 4 anymore. The franchise is dead, folks.

    I could run this game on PC, unlike on my Android gaming phone just to find out the game is like running through prepared tunnels from point to point and we were told in one review the players who pay to win will not be favoured that mutch, but they are, it's a piggybank and a shadow of the Blizzard we remember from old years.

You won't be hitting a soft wall while playing this game, it will be a hard wall,I was already disappointed when I learned that Diablo Immortal would be a mobile game at E3, and I had expected a large amount of greedy microtransactions anyway. However, this goes way above what I had even anticipated. I mean, holy f***, the microtransactions in this game are so numerous and so invasive. You won't be hitting a soft wall while playing this game, it will be a hard wall, and the game will make sure you suffer.

    What makes it even worse is that the core gameplay loop is actually pretty good. You can tell that whoever developed the game was passionate and wanted to make it fun. However, the crippling focus on microtransactions and the pay-2-win late-game make Diablo Immortal such a waste of solid foundations and potential.

    So, good job, Blizzard. Thanks for f***ing us players over again. I won't be playing anymore Blizzard titles from now on because of your myriad of recent screw-ups.    … Expand

    What could be a good Diablo game is ruined by forced MMO features, time-locked instances, limited daily quests, and a breathtakingly predatory and expensive P2W system. The only good thing about Diablo: Immortal is that the core combat is good. You'll soon get blocked by requirements to join a clan and warband, and dungeons that are solo on normal require parties on Hell 1 and Hell 2. ThatWhat could be a good Diablo game is ruined by forced MMO features, time-locked instances, limited daily quests, and a breathtakingly predatory and expensive P2W system. The only good thing about Diablo: Immortal is that the core combat is good. You'll soon get blocked by requirements to join a clan and warband, and dungeons that are solo on normal require parties on Hell 1 and Hell 2. That means there is friction farming dungeons for legendaries and set items. The P2W legendary gem and resonance system is absolutely predatory. Whales are spending thousands of dollars on "legendary crests" which are thinly disgused gacha boxes for only moderate increases in power. Any real progress on the legendary gem system take tens of thousands. The shadow vs. Immortal system requires PvP so players who aren't spending will be pressured by their clans or left out of that aspect of the game. It's such a shame because Blizzard could have had a massive, long-term success with a MTX shop that just had cosmetics and battle passes. As it is, most people will quit because a major aspect of character progression is blocked, and the whales will quit once they have no cannon fodder to steamroll in PvP.… Expand

I played this game for eight days and reached and game continent in the top level clan however quickly became disgusted by the Design of the purchase system. I played this game for eight days and reached and game continent in the top level clan however quickly became disgusted by the Design of the purchase system. The gameplay on PC and mobile is actually fairly good With some interesting integration of raids in PVP along with rifts, However the financial manipulation and tactics used in sales are utterly disgusting and caused me to quit this game very quickly. The company clearly has studied psychological patterns of players and appears to be preying On gamers by the way the loot system is designed. You will not be able to compete in endgame continent without spending significant amount of money. You will also hit a significant gear and development wall and less you spend money to buy eternal legendary Crests To acquire gems. The sales tactics used appear to play on several psychological factors of gamers and also I believe praying gambling like addictions to some extent. I encourage everyone willing to look further into this issue and many helpful videos have been posted. I would’ve gladly paid $60 upfront to play this game without any additional pay to win features but seeing this game in the current state with the Diablo franchise name attached to it is absolutely disgusting.… Expand

    As a avid Diablo/blizzard game player since I was around 10 years old, this game is a slap in the face. Diablo 2 is one of my favorite games of all time. I even enjoyed Diablo 3 for what it was even though I wasn't the biggest fan. I got to about level 45 before uninstalling. I felt like I could not progress through the game any further without paying.     They said that "the game will not be pay to win, you cannot buy gear" and then made gear irrelevant and added this predatory, disgusting and shameless gem system.

    I'm at the point where simply playing the game makes me feel like crap because I know I'm being taken advantage of. I will never play another Diablo title again.

    I have been playing Diablo since Diablo 1 released for PC. This game is nothing but a disgusting cash grab that makes progression impossible in late game without spending money. If anyone tells you free to play is possible they haven't made it far into the game.

    The gameplay is pretty good, but it's impossible not to mention the pay to win model. I suggest you install and play and ask yourself if PvP battles are fair. Unfortunately, it's a game for those who want to feed their own EGO.

    Diablo Immortal is a simplified and more accessible version of the series that can still provide hours of mindless fun and entertainment. Sadly, the games suffers in the long run because of all the tedious grinding and the greedy monetization system, making a game experience that starts as very enjoyable much less so as time goes on.

    Diablo Immortal seems like a project created with the sole purpose of using the good name of Diablo to rub the players of their money. Definitely one of the worst games ever came out of Blizzard.
