May 18, 2012Lackluster graphics, game play, story, and skill trees. DRM to play a single player game? What are we paying for then? HUGE disappointment. If you want to own it, pirate it. You don't get what you pay for.

May 18, 2012What is the point of buying a game if you can't even play it? I saved up for it, just to play by myself. I'm not a big multiplayer user, so I bought it for the singleplayer. Turns out, it doesn't matter. I can't play it without being online, which is horrible since I don't always have internet. Also: Error 37.

May 18, 2012I would like to be able to play the game I payed $60 for whenever I like, not whenever Blizzard decides to have their servers running. This always-on DRM is absolutely ridiculous.

May 19, 2012I have never played this game, but after seeing so many bad reviews and waiting all these years for it, the game has made me so mad, its almost like I've played it and I absolutely hate it. 0/10 Blizzard is bad.

May 19, 2012Disappointment. After so many years, Blizzard managed to make a great game, but due to stupid options (extinguishing the offline mode), they completelly ruined the gaming experience. Right now I regret the money I spend to buy Diablo.
-
May 19, 2012Why should I have to be online to play the game in single player? Why should I have to accept downtime for server maintenance for a single player game? If always online DRM is the future of games count me out, epic fail!

May 19, 2012There is no way to play the game offline, even by yourself. You can't customise your character - stats, skills or appearance.
The story is confusing.
And, last but not least, the servers go down for scheduled maintenance at 10:15pm EST Saturday night the week it comes out. -
May 19, 2012I would give 8.5 if you could play offline, but I have to keep stopping every moment, either because of bugs or long maintenance of own blizzard, this type of treatment the client can not get away

May 19, 2012tengo que estar online para poder jugar individualmente, esto hace al juego inservible si estoy en zonas que no tengo conexión (viajo bastante), nunca me interesaron las partidas multijugador

May 19, 2012Look at all the sheep defending always online drm bleeting that angry consumers are entitled whiners. Tell me, if pokemon, halo or GTA had always online drm would you bend over and let them ass rape you as long as they put in an auction house? Screw D3 and the blizz fanboys. Enjoy your server crashes, connection failures, lost game progress, gold farmers and lag monsters.

May 19, 2012Dont buy it. The grafics are not so good, the gameplay is kinda dead, you must play online for singleplayer, there are lags all the time, the game does not last so much, and so on .And if all that was not enough, there is a marketplace with real money, so you must pay more money to get the good stuff, since the game itself dont give you much rare/good itens...

Aug 31, 2012My one major complaint is that the game never feels very difficult, especially on Normal. There are frustrating moments, hordes of baddies, and increasing difficulty levels, but the same feeling of utter defeat never really happens as it did in the past.

Hyper MagazineJul 18, 2012For all the game's missteps, though, you certainly can't accuse Blizzard of phoning it in - if anything, the game suffers from the tendency to try a little to hard at times to evolve the design. [Aug 2012, p.61]

Jul 3, 2012When it works, Diablo III is the best of the Diablo games. When it doesn't, all it does is make you mad. [July 2012, p.54]
