May 17, 2012Asia server keeps crashing every evening and only comes back on at like 3am. For people who have a job, this game is impossible to play. So yeah, unless you actually let me play the game I paid $60 for, this is going to be a zero.

May 17, 2012I've played King's Quest I (released in 1984) with my young girls and had a great time doing it. What do you think the odds are people being able to play this game in 30 years due to the always on DRM?

May 17, 2012I loved D2, and I considered buying the game to just playing through it in single player. I live in an area where my internet connection is very slow... if it works at all. I guess I won't be purchasing an online only game.

May 17, 2012Fairly boring, button masher with a significantly dumbed down character system. Making level isn't the exciting event it used to be where you really had to think about your choices. Now you ding and it's like, "Oh, well the system automatically just gave me new stuff." Yawn.
Worst of all is the horrible DRM that makes the game a useless pile of bits if you try without an Internet connection. -
May 17, 2012Funny thing is most of you either pre-ordered or purchased the game on launch even though we all knew about the negative points of the game most of you are voting it down for. Next time use your better judgement and save your money for a game that is worth spending it on and not just for its title.

May 17, 2012I can not in good faith give this game a score higher than 0 with the awful DRM. With DRM games gets a 0; without DRM game gets a 3. And the only reason I say three is because the background music to the installer was good, the rest of the game is a watered-down, WoW dungeon crawler. This IS NOT DIABLO. Pass on this one and save $60

May 17, 2012What can you do with a play that constantly boots you although you're playing with a gamning machine and have tried a number of possible solutions? Nothing. The game was obviously rushed out to meet the deadlines and the idiotic idea of this once great company to oblige single players to log on has proved a disaster.

Aug 31, 2012My one major complaint is that the game never feels very difficult, especially on Normal. There are frustrating moments, hordes of baddies, and increasing difficulty levels, but the same feeling of utter defeat never really happens as it did in the past.

Hyper MagazineJul 18, 2012For all the game's missteps, though, you certainly can't accuse Blizzard of phoning it in - if anything, the game suffers from the tendency to try a little to hard at times to evolve the design. [Aug 2012, p.61]

Jul 3, 2012When it works, Diablo III is the best of the Diablo games. When it doesn't, all it does is make you mad. [July 2012, p.54]
