Sep 23, 2012I enjoy(not love it) the game before Inferno, but after that you can see why people is against RMAH, there is no way that you can do it if you don't buy items because. And always online is a real pain if you lose connection just for 1 second(for example if you have a Router and it assigned a new IP) you are out. And it has a real story problems! In my opinion it doesn't worth $60

Sep 22, 2012Compare to Diablo 2 this game is just a farm field for making cash, using the most boring skill system ever being released, doing over and over same annoying events and quests, listening the most boring and annoying Music. The only Act that really really makes sense to Diablo game is first, rest are boring and annoying, Act 4 was released with Rush, feels very empty and boring.

Nov 4, 2012How can you take the Diablo franchise and turn it into this? I loved the original, like Diablo II even more, but this falls flat. (how many years did I wait for this?) Yes lots of clicking and killing things, but the story, or lack of it is a big issue. They took everything special out of the game and made it feel mechanical.. Not the Diablo I remember and love.

Nov 28, 2012It would be a good game, if the RM-AH will be removed. The RM-AH destroyed the whole game, because you can buy everything you want from there, also when you have no gold. And it´s also a totally gear based game. If you have no gear, you have no chance. This game was definitely designed like a free-to-play-game,

Apr 5, 2014This game became the victim of DRM and microtransaction greed. dont buy it.
I loved diablo 2, and i naievely expected diablo 3 to be an improvement on the diablo 2 system. i was painfully disappointed. I got this game free and i still want a refund. -

Jul 13, 2013Sigh. One of the biggest disappointments of 2012. BUT there is a remedy. Torchlight II. Go buy it. It's on sale on steam for $10 and will literally address every complaint you have with this mess.

Jan 4, 2013This game is one of the perfect examples of proof that "professional" reviews often get paid for high reviews. The consumers who actually buy the game have spoken. Broken balance, horrible story, pay2win, lack of hyped features such as PvP, online DRM causing constant offline servers, terrible lag...I really could go on but you have thousands of ratings that are list them all.

Jan 12, 2013This game is repetitive, not rewarding, and just centered around the RMAH. Also all the characters look the same and if you want to be any good you are forced to use certain equip and certain skills, another thing that contributes to destroy the fun.

Aug 31, 2012My one major complaint is that the game never feels very difficult, especially on Normal. There are frustrating moments, hordes of baddies, and increasing difficulty levels, but the same feeling of utter defeat never really happens as it did in the past.

Hyper MagazineJul 18, 2012For all the game's missteps, though, you certainly can't accuse Blizzard of phoning it in - if anything, the game suffers from the tendency to try a little to hard at times to evolve the design. [Aug 2012, p.61]

Jul 3, 2012When it works, Diablo III is the best of the Diablo games. When it doesn't, all it does is make you mad. [July 2012, p.54]
