    I feel like a QA tester playing this game. I'm playing on PC with above recommended specifications and it runs like a unity project made by a small studio, I feel robbed.

    Followed the development of this game since announced in 2012. What a let down. I'm playing on PC (i7 9700k w/ RTX 3080). So much potential, yet you can clearly see where the cut content was suppose be. Lots of bugs. I feel for console players right now since this game was announced before the launch of the XB1 and PS4. CDPR (not the devs), you have let the gaming community down.

    Aside from a few bugs, this game is simply a masterpiece. And the game will age like fine wine just like the Witcher did.

    Cyberpunk 2077 is all I ever wanted from a sci-fi/vaporwave--like RPG. There are multiple ways of playing the game and shaping the story according to your decisions and/or performance. The game definitely has some of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt feel (duh), but in the same time, it's very different, especially when it comes to combat and character customization (both pre-game and during theCyberpunk 2077 is all I ever wanted from a sci-fi/vaporwave--like RPG. There are multiple ways of playing the game and shaping the story according to your decisions and/or performance. The game definitely has some of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt feel (duh), but in the same time, it's very different, especially when it comes to combat and character customization (both pre-game and during the playthrough). I would definitely recommend buying this game if you're a PC gamer... For consoles, yeah, I'd probably wait 'till the next gen gets released.… Expand

    Honestly the game functions. That is all. It has some cool things, but I had faaar more fun playing Deus ex Human Revolution and Mankind Divided / which was defiled and ripped in half by Square Enix thanks to greed /. Many bugs. If someone reads this review - if you reaaaally reaaaally want to play it - probably wait till CDPR patch the whole thing.

    A piece of junk. I cant even talk with Npc walking along the street. No planes, boats, hovercars in the game. Stupid Ai.

    10 hours into the game, it seems good and I, personally, have encounteres no bugs or performance issues. The game is pretty good and really entertaining and fun, I think it justhad too much hype for some.
    Shooting and stealthing is fun and works as well as any other game. I stayed away from melee combat as the lack of "Third person" makes it really hard for me to follow the    Xbox Series S:

    Also, but this is more personal opinion, I don't get why "Tech"is not good at hacking, whilst "Intelligence" is, it makes little sense to me, considering that "Tech" allows you to "Hack" doors and cars: Counterintuitive.    … Expand

    I'm runnaing a GTX 1070 Ti and i5-4670K at "Ultra"-Preset at constant 60 FPS. Main concern: My Mouse is too fast for the game, even with it set to the lowest sensitivity setting in game. And there is no way to change the cursor speed in the menus, so I either    I had some small issues.

You don't get any actual sliders to change the sizes or positions of your organs like eyes, ears or whatever, you just have to choose from a limited number of options. That alone wouldn't be a big problem if there were actually a meaningful number of options. The biggest gimmick was the genital part. You only get 3 options, a vagina, an uncircumcised penis and a circumcised penis. Breast and penis sizes are again limited choices. The way the genitals were added feels out of place or unnecessary. They could have had the genitals yet make it interesting to actually edit them if they added any actual character creation. As for other creation tools? Where the highest number of options you get is for the hairstyles, you don't get anything else in a satisfying number. This is Cyberpunk future and humanity has forgotten how to make good looking tattoos.

    Prologue in Witcher 3 had a meaning. It was linear too but it taught you the game, it introduced you to the characters, helped you make bonds with them and actually give a damn about the story or the characters. It showed us a glimpse of the ageing Witcherman's past and helped us understand his relationship with Ciri. Gave us a reason to care about Ciri and other characters. Prologue in Cyberpunk on the other hand? It is just to get extra game hours by making a boring linear segment. The characters know you but your only experience with such things is a cutscene and that's it. You are supposed to care about them for 'reasons'. It's impossible to actually remain invested in what's going on for more than five seconds before they shove a new character you don't have a past with but apparently already know down your throat and you cannot refuse to do what they want you to do. Spent around five hours so far, can't wait to see the actual open world and be done with this part. If I am already done with the prologue and this is the open-world...well, then it is just pathetic.    … Expand

    Loving this game. 13 hours in and only seeing a few minor bugs. I am on a 3000 dollar pc though. Only gave it a 9 because if I was a console player I would be mad. It was announced for the ps4 and Xbox one it should work on those systems. However I appreciate the time Nd work in them making this game so beautiful and fun.

    Game has some bugs but for me I've had no issues with fps or crashes on ps4. I really have been enjoying this game. I haven't finished it yet but I sincerely had fun. I went in with no hype behind it, just out if curiosity and I do like it.     I want to take this space to congratulate CDPR on this stunning game. The storyline, meaningful characters, amazing city to get lost in, it's a great place to be. Granted there are some bugs to iron out and the game certainly benefits from some decent hardware (I am still running on an OC 1080ti 90% res scaling on 3440x1440 50FPS almost everything maxed though), but I have patience.I want to take this space to congratulate CDPR on this stunning game.     This game has lived up to my expectations , graphics are 10/10, story is very good and i have never experienced a world like this before. The game does have issues with bugs, ive had some crashes and mostly graphical bugs but that still doesnt take away from how amazing this game is. I trust updates will be released making it betterfor consoles

    Imagine RDR2 if it was optimized like crap and a lot of the small details and side activities were cut. You can barely aim on controller and the combat feels like garbage. It isn't without fun, IF you can get it to run as intended...

    Night City is breathtaking in both attention to detail and scale, graphically the game is stunning. The story is very entertaining, the characters are all well written and voice acting is top notch.

    It's occasionally buggy and you need a pretty decent computer to run it.     gta 3 has better AI than this. so many bugs. the game was clearly not ready. cd project blocked any info regarding the state of the game.
    the story and graphics are ok. other than that pure trash for a AAA game like this

    Extremely good game, the characters around the plot are amazing. Their arch is very polished and that is something that reminds me of The Witcher. I'm very happy with the main quest, it gets better and better. Although I have encountered some bugs, none of them were really annoying, the most annoying bug I had were some sounds not playing sometimes during some missions. And the soundtrack, just wow, the best I have ever listened to in a game, and no one is talking about that. In PC I must say that the optimization is amazing, the game with most impressive graphics I have ever played, all running at 60 fps in a mid range computer, though some drops in fights and very populated zones. I hope the game gets fixed in consoles as soon as possible to all of the people to enjoy it as I did. Meanwhile, I will be playing the rest of the content the game has to offer.     Now the graphics are really NEXT GEN on a PC of course and I will review the PC version because I only own the PC version purchased from GOG. The lighting is 10/10 even without ray tracing but with RT all shadows, reflection are getting a huge upgrade. The Ambient Occlusion is well made. I love that each NPC has his own character and how he acts every single one is unique. I love the small details the developer's have put in this game like each hair moving separately on is own really great physics or the alcohol the liquid moving from the glass when a character is moving the glass. Those small details really make the CUT the big impact sadly those details can only be appropriate on PC right now. Soundtracks are really nice and I love the sound effects. Each gun feels and sounds different and is really nice hear every single bullet dropping on the floor it is really nice immersion made from CDPR. Gameplay is fantastic it really is great and I love it! How I said befor each gun feels different sound different and has a different impact while shooting. It is well made and it doesn't feel copy paste like you see for games like CoD or Battlefield. Because CDPR never did a shooter I had fear but they made a great job. You have so many options to fight not only guns but also body modifications what are a huge deal in Cyberpunk 2077. You can have huge blades or a string what cuts everything. The gameplay is really nice it feels like a Doom game I appreciate the hard work and level of detail they put in the gameplay. Leveling up stars is not hard but also not easy it takes some time. Don't rsuh the game you can finish the main story in maybe 15 or 20 hours but I recommend doing side quests in between main quests and also just having fun walking around seeing Night City in his full glory! The city is well designed each detail is nice to see. On PC you can see 30 or 40 people in one street the city feels full of life it really is AWESOME. Now the big elephant in room the BUGS. I honestly will give this game a 10/10 because I love it and I ONLY saw 1 bug so far and it was a small bug BUT... I also saw many PC and console gamers, specially console gamers on base PS4 and Xbox One complaining about bugs. I only saw once a bug on my game and it was the T pose bug where a random NPC made a T pose with his hands. That's it that's the only bug I saw so far and I hope it stays like that.

    In the end YES I can understand if those console user scores get low scores because they deserved it. Low FPS, potato PS3 graphics, a lot more bugs... But guys the PC version is really really good yes you need a really good PC to run that game but the game also visually looks like a next gen game. It really is a great trade of. In the end the PC version didn't deserved those user scores but the console version definitely did.    … Expand

    Хочу стать на защиту поляков, игру не должны так поливать грязью, она не заслуживает таких категоричных 0 и 1 (как и 10 поставленных мною, но это я сделал для некой "справедливости)))" техническая часть хромает на обе ноги, тут не поспоришь, но сюжетно и геймплейно это хорошая игра.Хочу стать на защиту поляков, игру не должны так поливать грязью, она не заслуживает таких категоричных 0 и 1 (как и 10 поставленных мною, но это я сделал для некой "справедливости)))" техническая часть хромает на обе ноги, тут не поспоришь, но сюжетно и геймплейно это хорошая игра.

    На старенькой gtx 1060 полёт более менее нормальный (на средне-высоких 30-40 кадров в секунду). Именно из за фпс ставлю 9, а не 10. Так игра шикарна (баги есть, но они скорее смешные, чем критические)

Gun play is fine, I haven’t played COD since black ops two, this is as good as that but it’s an RPG so enemies are a bit more spongy. Driving is better the. GTA. Characters feel immersive. City is immersive if you don’t go looking for glitches which is what most negative reviewers seemed to do. This isn’t Mass Effect Andromeda (which sucked compared to the original mass effect trilogy. It’s a good game that has a few bugs... who cares? I play most my RPG games heavily modded and guess what, so do they. It’s not the end of the world to reload a save. Quit crying because I like these games. I’m tired of BS carbon clones like Fallout and new BioWare stuff. We can’t have nice things if idiots pile on because it’s not perfect. Do you like the Witcher? Yes? Buy it. Do you Like RPG’s? Yes? Buy it.
    Do you need your game to be perfect? No? Buy it. Yes? Wait a few months and catch the first steam sale once it’s been updated and buy it. It’s a great game that will only get better.     Just a great game I can't say anything more. Breathtaking. The main story is great there's a lot of side quests so there is a lot to do. The atmosphere of the city is chilling.

    The graphics are worse than Horizon , RDR 2 , GTA and has a smaller Map and Story but yet it runs like crap .What were those guys doing all these years .

    The graphics on high is good maybe seems like next gen but other factors like optimisation and bugs driving and gunplay is hooooorrrrrrrible.They cant even make the minimap efficient keep passing the turns because the map is zoomed so much.

    I enjoy the game with my RTX3080.
    There are some areas that need improvement, but it is absolutely impossible to get 0 score. Originally wanted to give 9, but too many people maliciously give 0. So I need to balance it.

This game took a huge risk coming out on old and new generation hardware at the same time. 6 months more development time would have made sure it is released in a better state especially if they would have been rolling out ONLY on PC. ThenAre there bugs? Yes. Is it unplayable? Not at all. Is the game full of content? Yes. Is the game breathtaking? No question. Will it get better? 100%. This game took a huge risk coming out on old and new generation hardware at the same time. 6 months more development time would have made sure it is released in a better state especially if they would have been rolling out ONLY on PC. Then another 4 months later to consoles.
    The scope of the game, from a design perspective, is just unfathomably big and they did make it run on everything! Hats of to the developers especially after all the media **llsh**ery they had to endure for the past months.    … Expand

    Just a masterpiece. Never have I expected so fantastic hours with wonderfull Future world in Night city. Some minor bugs but they fix the problem fast.it does not influence my joy of playing and admiring. I can not believe I play futuristc game

    As someone who does not play a lot of single player games I managed to complete the story in this game skipping most of the side missions in about 15 hours. The end game was fine. I'm a little salty that you don't get to keep your loot found in the final mission after completing one of several endings and are just rewound to continue doing more side missions and experience alternate endings.

    The story was OK. At some points I found it a little boring. I felt forced to help out a lot of dead end characters that didn't really advance the story much and was just filler. There were several events the game led you down as part of the main story that didn't advance the story of the character much but more told a story about the city or outside of the city. Areas that I didn't care about or were not exposed to long enough to care about.

    The character leveling system was interesting. The amount of EXP gained by completing the game doing main story mostly felt underwhelming. I would have loved to unlock more than 1 tree. I couldn't figure out how to refund points I invested into the trees at the character creation not understanding how they worked.

    With about 20 hours in I'm not sure this game has an end game to keep me playing. I can do more side missions and max out my gear but I'm not sure what's the point when I'm already mowing down enemies with my sword in 1 or 2 hits. I'll be interested to hear about what DLC will bring to the game. I have a feeling that the game in 1-2 years from now will be the complete version.    … Expand

    Very few minimal details on pc many people complain about the console versión but remember that it was not much made with old gen consoles but oh well. Awesome music ambience etc. My only small complain is the driving experience

    car driving mechanic is bad, there is no customizing as well, and you don't even own a garage to store them , only you can call them.
    stupid AI and terrible NPC , they just stand there most of the time.
    looting system is very overwhelming , i find my self looting in each mission more than actually doing the mission clothing system is very bad , like my male character had to wear a female bra and biker helmet just for the stats till i found something better , like you cant get something you like without sacrificing your stats , and you cant even preview them in the shop!

    i can go on and on but a lot of people have already covered that in their reviews , its just a big disappointment ,to think that this game have been in development all this years and was scheduled to come out in April and in the end it came out in this way is sad.    … Expand

    Now here goes for the game review. To give more context when I'll complain about the smoothness of the game: I have a high end gaming PC with a 3080 and i9 9900k and finished the playthrough.

    The gameplay is clunky, not smooth at all. Using melee in this game is so hard due to the weird motion blur and the movements being gawky. Fist fighting is unfun as the NPCs basically teleports themselves when they swing a punch.

    Bugs, bugs and bugs. The game is so buggy, it feels like it's in alpha stage. The AI is also very "stupid".

    The story falls very flat, the main story isn't too bad, the side quests feels useless and without context, unlike in Witcher 3 where the side quests we're basically other stories of their own.

    Anyways, I could keep going but this is basically it. The game is awful, I'm giving a 1 just because the game is really beautiful. Can't deny that.    … Expand

    don't recommend this unless you have a really high-performance pc... the minimun requeriments are not real unless you like to play a 10 fps game. A game for the next-game generation because it's is unplayable in actual one.

У поляков получилось сделать крутую рпг в открытом мире и то что полоумные дауны представили себе игру мечты, такую себе гта в будущем где минимум думать и просто стрелять тир и кататься на мишинках, и что это которая пойдет хоть на телефоне это не проблема игры.


    С минусов баланс, плохая система лута, не самий
    лучшый интерфейс, тупых врагов, физику машин, и в некоторых моментах нету вариативности.

    Так то лучшее что вышло за последние пару лет кому не зашло идите кодлу играть и в гта( игру для школьников с iq обезьяни в цирке) а кто поумнее тому игра однозначно зайдет

    Mind-blowing. So far I've only encountered one minor bug in 15hrs of playtime. Combat is expansive and engaging. Story is one powerful gut-punch after another. World is the most beautiful yet created in games. And I'm playing on an old base model Xbox one.

    I an giving this game a 9. I've been playing on the Xbox One X. I've only had one issue when it shut down unexpectedly only.happened once and I've been playing for 11 hrs other than that it's been a great experience. The rendering is really good. It's a new game people what do you expect.

    5. Shallow build options - I dont have to play a lot to know this, looked at the skills, most of them are stat upgrades.

    6. Lack of choice - Ok this is sus, cause I only played 8 hours, but the utter lack of any player agency in conversations is alarming. My char has one line that progresses the story or I can add a stupid remark or question (so far). I dont even have a choice in how to react, not to mention decide how I wanna handle things...

    7. Driving is like its from a '90s game

    8. Uninteresting loot - The game showers you with so many (mostly irrelevant) loot, that its impossible to ghet excited about exploration. Moreover you gonna spend a considerable amount of time salvaging everything, cause ofc everything is worth more salvaged....

    9. Metric **** of bugs

    On the good side it ran like butter for me in 4k, the city and characters look and sound amazing, but that not why you would play a CDPR game for....

The ultrawide aspect was done properly where the sides are not stretched out too much. The game looks absolutely stunning with ray tracing. The only bugs ive encountered are random floating objects and rare occasions where its hard to pick up items. LOL at the peopleOh how I have been enjoying this game.     Gunplay is "OK" at best. Can't really describe it, but "the feeling" of guns is mediocre.
    Enemies are bullet sponges. Not a fan of such design.
    AI is garbage outside of battle.
    Hacking is mostly useless. Disable cams, steal some cash, maybe use other default abilities 10 or 15 times throughout the game.

    Most of the people rate the game so high because there are not that many AAA releases this year + hype + enormous expectations.

    I mean, I'm not that big of a fan of Witcher 3, but it's better than CB 2077 in every aspect except graphics (mods can fix that).

    So 5/10 right now, 7/10 when and IF they fix problems listed above and release DLCs.    … Expand

    The start of this game is not perfect, that's a fact. Bugs appear. However, this is fixable and knowing CDPR will soon be over with some major problems. I play medium details in FullHD. I highly recommend this game, it will only get better with time as CDPR will introduce improvements and new content to the game. The game is huge and has a lot to offer. I approach it, as with any RPG, very calmly and first spend time exploring and side missions. Only then will he become interested in the main plot. I just started the game, I'm after 12 hours of gameplay. During this time, maybe I did 20% of the side missions in one district? I like crafting, I spend a lot of time on it, sneaking can be demanding, hacking has great potential, although you have to learn how to use it efficiently. Hand-to-hand combat can be chaotic at first, but rewarding. The shooting mechanics are at a good level, you have to remember that this is an RPG, not a FPS. It suits me personally. The sounds are at a very high level, both the music and the sounds of the surroundings and fighting. Acting at a high level. Character development is very interesting and encourages you to experiment. The mechanics of driving could slightly improve, so far it is not bad, but you have to be careful while driving so that you do not skid at every turn. Night City is alive and you want to be its resident. The game immerses very well. I give this game 9/10. I receive one point for a large number of bugs.     Yes a buggy mess but behind all those bugs is a truly fantastic game I’ve been hooked and it’s a tonne of fun. People had to high expectations but bugs all get patched out then it will really be something. Fantastic game 9/10 would be 10/10 if it was polished

    The game is excellent with a strong story that cannot leave its wonderful world and the characters are strong. I love the game very much, it deserves everything

    Sound 9/10. Had some early on sound glitches and bugs. Some sounds go through to many walls or play from to far away to be realistic. Only taking a point off for how far sounds play as the bug involved my end and fixed itself upon restart of the game.

    Graphics 10/10. The best of the best. Only thing I turned off was screen space ambient reflections as it had a grainy detail to it for    Sound 9/10. Had some early on sound glitches and bugs. Dunno if fixed but RTX on is amazing and turning on reflections makes the screen space reflections redundant. Can see the detail of rain on the car driving through a lighted tunnel that makes the car look like a movie shot.

    Gameplay 9/10. Some early on mechanics could be explained better and needs many more tutorials as I had to figure out almost every menu myself and how to craft or upgrade weapons etc. There is After initial load, no load screens I've encountered so far. Initial load is under 20 seconds on my NVME.

    Truly the best game iv played in the last five years. I played on PC and I dont know If I would get this game for a normal ps4 or Xbox. If you can run it you really should play it! amazing story, hacking and gun play. The first game ive played where the melee combat works well in first person!

But the biggest issue by far are the bugs, which pull you out of the immersion often and    tl;dr Will be a good game in about a year once all the bugs are ironed out. Until then, this thing is a mess.

    Playing on pc there are still some bugs. Fighting/ boxing has been the worst of everything. But overall the game is excellent. Have enjoyed ever second of it. Would recommend to anyone

    Biggest overhyped fail of all time? I think so. No game has been hyped up as some kind of miracle of gaming that will be ahead of time and what not. But reality is that it's one of the most generic and boring "open-world" games i have ever played.

    The best metaphor for Cyberpunk 2077 is Johnny Silverhand himself. A messiah, a mix of Kurt Cobain and Che Guevara, a talented singer who loves to shape his own legend and has a charming personality but loses the struggle with his own demons. The same goes for the game. It tells a great story and forced me to ask myself difficult questions, but many of its gameplay mechanics do not evolve and its technical state upon release was abysmal. Cyberpunk’s true hero is not a person, but Night City – a vibrant, living creature of great diversity. The beauty of the metropolis is striking. [01/2021, p.22]

    Cyberpunk 2077 is one of the most disturbing and mind-blowing RPGs in history, where every decision has a deep impact on our trail. CD Projekt RED tosses us to the center of a city filled with disgusting delights where every character deserves our attention in an immersive experience and overall, very rewarding. From the sarcastic and shadowy tone imposed by the countless scenes in the game, to the flexibility we have on the choices to face every situation that is presented, Night City is truly memorable. It’s a shame that the countless bugs spoil or diminish the impact of some resounding moments, but we are without a question, in the presence of one of the best games in 2020.

    Measured against the extreme expectations, Cyberpunk 2077 can't fulfill any of them. But all in all, despite the countless small weaknesses and inconsistences, with interesting characters, great story and dialogues or the freedom concerning gameplay, CD Projekt delivers a unique and great RPG that every fan of the genre needs to play.
