Running good on a 2013 pc build with 16gb ram, gtx970, i7 4790k, and a non ssd HD. I have not had any crashes yet (fingers crossed), My friends have had issues, but when not using rtx they had almost no issues.

I would not recommend the game if you do not like grinding like a DnD style game, Pathfinder KM, Underrail and other games like that.

PC version is fuuuull of bugs, popping, PS2 textures, bad performance... It's a pitty, as it is really a good game, but nowadays is disgusting to play it. 7 years and so many delays for this just aren't explainable. For now, it is a 0 for me. And I have to say I am playing the PC version at ULTRA settings, which is supposed to be the best version xd

I am excited and surprised by the world building around every turn. Additionally, I am completely invested in the characters I have met so far. The mechanics such as the driving, gunplay, and hacking may not be the top of their class in their own right but it’s truly astounding how good the moment to moment feel of the game is when so much detail was put into the narrative and open world. Also forgot to mention the rock solid rpg elements of character customization and narrative impact the player can have based on their choices. This game is truly special once players look past some of the blemishes that are inevitable with a game of this ambition and scope. Expand

It's an interesting premise but it hardly does anything interesting in the game. Mechanics are bog standard for an immersive sim, nothing that the new Deux Ex games didn't already do better 6 years ago. The bugs are easily the worst part, they are constant and throughout. You won't get through the first hour of the game without hitting multiple, very noticeable immersion breaking bugs. IfIt's an interesting premise but it hardly does anything interesting in the game. If this was an action or adventure game it would be passable but in an immersive sim it's unforgiveable. People walk into each other constantly, turn around on a dime, and only barely react to you when you point a gun directly at them. AI in cars are more buggy than functional, endless traffic jams where nobody is honking. Think when was the last time you were content to sit idling behind someone on an empty highway behind someone waiting for them to move. Cars and people pop in an out as you turn your head and replaced with different cars and people.

I asked for a refund and I think you will too.

Throughout speech options feel comparable to Fallout4 dialogs albeit with less interesting options. Gameplay on last gen consoles is riddled with framers drops, and bugs which complete break in game immersion. Cyberpunk plays like an abusive relationship teasing you with something good just ti smack you with a game breaking bug or glitch, but you keep going back hoping it will get better. For a game marketed as an RPG developers have back pedked to calling it an "open world action adventure game". Presumably because the massive cut of normal ROG elements such as significant character customization and modification in game(not just at the start). Additionally there are many questionable control and interface designs which make the game frustratingly hard and overly complicated to navigate and understand. Ultimately this game while full of visible potential falls flat and fails to deliver what was originally marketed. Furthermore on last gen consoles it is virtually unplayable. When it does work you get a mixture of Birderlands and Fallout4 with chunkier combat and looting with a couple of RPG elements sprinkled in. Don't purchase with high hopes. Expand

But, after beating the game and playing through the main endings as well as completing all the non-gig side quests (other than finding all the graffiti) I can say that this is 100% false.

Before the game came out many reviewers claimed that the main story was only a small part of the game and that the side quests will be where the real meat of the game is. But, after beating the game and playing through the main endings as well as completing all the non-gig side quests (other than finding all the graffiti) I can say that this is 100% false.

Completing all the side quests takes about the same amount of time as the main story. However, many of them are glorified gigs. And, the one's that do have a story do not rival the main story in any way. If you expected side quests similar to Fallout or Elder Scrolls then prepare to be let down.

There are a number "main" side quests that revolve around: Terry (Johnny's band member), Judy, and Panam. These are longer than all the others since they are the start to quest chains. But the chains are short for what they are. Then, there are 3-4 side quest chains with only 2-3 parts. And, the rest of the side quests are one-off quests that can take anywhere from literally only 1 minute to 20 minutes.

The side quests have slightly more choice than the main quest line. But, the choices have almost no consequences. It really doesn't matter what you decide or how to talk with the characters. Usually, you'll get a happy or mean text an in-game day later.

So, the game has: a good main quest with terrible endings, about 20 mostly boring side quests with only a few turning into quest chains, no impactful choices, and very little RPG elements in terms of life-path, attributes, and perks. Atleast, the map is really cool. It's a shame they didn't use so many of the cool areas they created for something other than pointless and repetitive gig quests. Next time you're driving in-game: look around. Look at all the cool places the designers made. Do you know how much of it is used to tell interesting stories? Almost none of it. What a shame.

TLDR: Buy the game if you think you'll really enjoy the main story. Don't buy it for anything else. The side quests, world, and lack of RPG elements will disappoint. Hell, even the main story's ending may disappoint.

I believe in a few months once the game is patched up every one will be singing its praises. I'm not excusing the bugs and CD Project Red clearly has their work set out for them, but we should judge a game off of what it is and not the fixable issues it has at the moment. I've noticed that alot of gamers online love to jump on the hate bandwagon of anything just for the fun of it (see The Last of Us part 2 leaks). And yes the game does have some bugs, for me it has been nothing too serious and game breaking but I do understand players frustration with buying a $60 game and getting a buggy first couple of hours. Games of this scope will always have bugs at launch and people seem to forget this every time the new shiny showstopper game comes out. Give the developers some time and patience (something alot of "gamers" seem to dearly lack) and this game will be up to snuff soon enough. Dont always buy into the hype both positive and negative, make your own opinion on games, dont just listen to Youtubers who are using this to get your clicks. play the game and finish it before you decide whether or not it is good or bad dont be sheep. I give this game a 9/10 on pure potential and 7.5/10 on current state of the game which will be patched up in no time. We all thought No Mans Sky was **** when it came out and look at how they turned that around. Good luck and have fun in Night City my friends. Expand

To make the game work they’ve depopulated Night City to the point that it’s an empty sandbox. It’s a fantastic city, beautifully designed. But without the horsepower to do it justice, the PS4 version feels hollow. All the graphical flourishes that bring the world alive? Forget it. It looks like a game from the early 2000s on a last gen console. The eye popping visuals are limited to the top 5% of PC spec. Everyone else gets “functional” It’s a shame as the CDPR magic is here, their strengths are all on display, but they should have just bitten the bullet and made this a PC/PS5/XBox X title. I will say, though, that this is a role playing game in name only. Apart from a quite involved skill tree, there aren’t the world changing decision trees in this game. Some of the dialogue options have one choice. What’s the point of presenting me with a single choice dialogue tree? Do they think I will miss pressing a button every couple of minutes? And there is a mission that’s basically a platform level. If I wanted a platform game I would buy an old Sega Megadrive and plug Sonic the Hedgehog in. The old hardware can’t cut it and they knew it, why else did they withhold console code from the reviewers? The way to play this is either on a high end PC or wait for the next gen console versions. CDPR should take a reputation hit for this. They’ve released a game onto a format that can’t do it justice and tried to conceal the shortcomings for short term profit. Any claims to being customer-centric die here. Expand

The player choice is off the walls. Even in the intro missions before the main store kicks in you can do at least 10 different options for just one mission. Kill everyone, do no harm, stealth, talk your way through, you name it. The gun game play could use some work but the complexity of the guns are above amazing. The smoothness of aiming a gun play is perfect for my play style. The character customization really needs to be re-done. You can customize your genitals but you only have 12 options for a hair and 6 options for a nose. Only a set number of options for anything you can customize no color wheels no size adjusters just set choices. The customization is lacking and I hope they change it in the future. The skilled trees are ginormous. The skill points in skill tree points help keep the game individually very apparent. The amount of guns and cars in the game are astonishing and the different kinds of people you interact with throughout the game NPCs of all kinds are diverse and very interesting. You can talk to literally anyone whether they will actually want to talk to you as the question. You can see people talking and you can walk up and snoop on their conversation. The cyberpunk body mods are so cool so much you can add to your character and customize. Boss fights don't feel like a traditional boss fight feels like you've just come across a very tough guy makes it feel more realistic. Don't get me wrong the boss fights are still as difficult as a normal boss fight they just don't look or feel like a standard Zelda or kingdom hearts boss fight. Overall the game has literally a 100,000 hours or more of repayability in it. if you like fallout Skyrim or any of the other Bethesda titles I bet you cyberpunk 2077 will be your next go to RPG. It has so much to offer I've probably barely scratched the surface just playing the hours that I've played. I'm giving this game a 5 out of 5 stars, because even with a little bit of errors, glitches and bugs that do see the game still outperforms all of those issues with its story, characters, role-playing, free roam, and pure and utter freedom to choose what you want to do. All that makes this game the best one I've seen in my life. I can't even put it down when I come home after work. Optimization: This game was launched with GPUs like the 30 series in mind. Do not get mad when you cannot run this at max settings with an older GPU, you would be stupid to do so. It would be like getting mad that you cannot run a game made for a PS4 on a PS3 with max settings. Accept that as tech and games progress your system many not be able to run every game at max settings and move on or upgrade. If you cannot run the game well enough to satisfy yourself on your own system but have solid internet and 5$ a month, use NVIDIA Geforce Now. It is worth it.

Bugs: So far 33 hrs in, I have encountered some minor visual bugs such as a lighter appearing as floating, a gun appearing in a hand when it shouldn't during a cutscene, and similar issues. I have never encountered any game-breaking bugs (those that would soft-lock the game) or major bugs of any kind. I do not believe that the minor visual bugs I have encountered detract from the game.

All in all, great game. If a review comments on bugs or optimization, please keep these points in mind.

I’m having a super fun time getting into guns with a silence revolver and doing big headshot criteria and then finishing guys off with a machine pistol. I haven’t gotten to far into the story as of yet but all the side missions, gigs, jobs and just all the chatter of random people walking the streets and the crowds that form has been good it gives the game a sense of life. I’ve heard people say the driving in the game isn’t good, I haven’t had a problem with it and to me it’s seems to be dependent on what you are driving. I love the motorcycles compared to the big tank cars or the small beaters which I think are hard to drive. As for bugs on the PC or technical issues I haven’t seen any or had anything that sticks out to me as game breaking. I’m glad I bought it and I’m gonna be happy to spend a lot more time in this world. Expand

This game has been everything it was hyped to be. Tons of stuff to do, looks gorgeous, and is a ton of fun! Has some bugs, but for less than a week old that's to be expected, and none of them are game breaking (most certainly blows out anything any other AAA developer has released in the last decade). I'd recommend the game to my friends, but they've all already got it too!

The game is great, the combat, the voice acting and also the ending of every lifestyle you pick as a player. The only bugs I've run into so far are a couple phones floating in the air and some object/characters appearing out of nowhere. Graphics are amazing, and the city is a constant wonder to me. It feels like every inch of the world was crafted with love, and it's hard to imagine the time and effort that went into making it feel like that.

The gameplay is similar to a more fleshed out Deus Ex game, which I find extremely satisfying (the original Deus Ex is one of my all time favorite games). I started CP2077 on hard, and found it actually challenging in the early hours of the game. Once I started building out my character though, that early challenge made me feel extremely powerful, in a way not many games do well. Either you get overpowered early on and things feel cheap, or you don't start getting actual power until way to late in the game. I felt like I had to think and invest wisely to get to the point I am at, and it felt amazing to me.

The one thing I haven't really enjoyed so far is the brain dance activity. The training bd was fine, but the second one in the penthouse was just frustrating. I searched and searched and could not find anything else when it said there was more. I continued along assuming I was just missing it and stopped caring after like 10 minutes of flying around a room looking at every nook and cranny to then find what I needed later in the bd... but the previous things were still showing as needing to be found. I went back to be sure, and still couldn't find anything. Not sure if I missed something or if it was showing incorrectly... but it was NOT fun. The several dances I've done after that one have been fine, but I've dreaded bd's whenever they have come up after the penthouse.

It's really unfortunate that not everyone has had the experience I have had. There are definitely game breaking issues for some people, and I'm happy I've been able to enjoy the game right away. Hopefully it won't take too long for patches to show up that fix these issues so that everyone can see the beautiful game that I've been able to experience so far.

The story is also great, not to spoil anything but the starting chapters does not yet show the main plot of the game. It is only gets phenomenal once johnny silverhands (keeanu reeves) shows up.

For thr customizations, you could dress up your character, you could customized your guns or melee weapons, you could do many builds with your characyer like create a cyborg ninja or a one-shot headshot handgunner, or even the famous silent long shot archer in skyrim (snipers in this game).

So far I have played 20 hours in this game and I am not even done with the main story (I am mosly doing side missions like witcher 3 and fallout/skyrim) and just in the mid part of act 2. I just experience some minor bugs such as AI bumping each other/toppling over but I have not crash yet in this game so I could get more fps in this beautiful game.

Btw I am using a pc rig with rtx 3060ti and ryzen 5600x. Maybe they could optimize it more with future patches so I could have more fps in thid aeesome game :)

There are also a ton of side quests that are very fun (some of them) and you can easily lose track of time doing them.
The visuals are gorgeous - on PC at least, but you will need a beefy PC to be able to run everything at max and RTX ON. Even without RTX enabled the game still looks amazing!!!
Now the sad part...this is an RPG...but there are not so many guns or clothes to choose from. The crafting system is also weak, the customization of your character appearance at the beginning of the game is somewhat weak also.
...AND...It is a bug-infested game...all aspects of this game are riddled with bugs:
    - bugged main story
    - bugged side quest ( some of them)
    - bugged audio
    - bugged NPCs, cars, objects in the game, the AI, even the character you create has visual artifacts.
But bugs aside it is a very good game.

Cyberpunk 2077 fails to deliver on almost everything that was advertised and promised. First off the game is not an RPG, although it has RPG elements, You cannot call it a true RPG. The developers did change the official genre of the game on their website and twitter, But at first it was advertised and promised as an RPG. Now it is an action adventure fps with a linear story.
I'll start with the cons, which there are many of.
    - Very bad optimization issues, There is evidence that suggests the game runs better on intel CPU's and they did not bother to test on different hardware or lower hardware
    - No customized sliders for your character just a couple presets
-No way to color or personalize your weapon, Just the scopes and silencer mods including all the smart targeting optics
-Low vehicle variety, In which many vehicles are generic and repasted
-No garage to store vehicles in or anywhere to customize them in the game or upgrade them
-No customizable or purchasable properties that you can customize or live in, even your apartment is just a loot store, despite moving up and earning thousands of eddies you are stuck in a small apartment
-NPC's barely react and have no awareness to the game world. Giving overused one liners. There's little if any NPC's that have the option of talking to unless they are part of the main story. AI walk through walls and are non responsive
-Quests are just fetch and kill, steal this, infiltrate this place.
-No cop car chases in the year 2077 in a city that has a high tech specialized police force. Plenty of cop cars are seen roaming the street but they will not chase you.
-No option to rob vendors or stores, No option to break in. Vendors are just locked inside with no clear way to how they got behind their own counters, Their shops don't even have backdoors that are visible behind the counter
-Cops spawn next to you and if you're driving and running over pedestrians they spawn in front of you, They spawn out of nowhere and in front of you
-You don't carry a bounty for your actions even though almost every other character does
-There is no pathfinding or AI for the NPC's driving
-Lifepaths don't matter, There is no affiliation or roleplaying to a certain faction that you can choose even though there are multiple gangs. You will end up in the same story no matter what choices you take
-Your choices don't matter, and even if they did you don't have any options in the way you play, no viability
-Story throws dialogue and names of people you've never met in the first 10 minutes confusing you
-The story is weak and uncompelling, The characters have no depth and they are forced

    The pros
-The city is big and feels like a cyberpunk city when you drive around, the atmosphere and world design was done very well. This is where I suspect they spent most of their effort in development
-The combat is unique in that you can use an assortment of weapons, melee and tech. I was impressed by the smart targeting weapons.
-There are some memorable and catchy songs that fit well, my favorite was Namakopuri- Pon Pon Sh*t.

Overall the game is flawed not only from a technical look but also from just the gameplay. It fails to deliver on a true RPG experience as it was once advertised as which generated a lot of the hype. As an action adventure FPS it's mediocre and suffers further when you take into account the lack of depth in the gameplay.

I have a 1060 and a i5 and the game is very demanding on low end systems. Bugs have been persistent in some areas while others have played very well. I am not bothered by bugs as long as it is not game breaking so far I have not run into any that were that bad. What I have found are some of the best stories I have ever found in games. The gun play is way better then I thought it would be, the driving feels loose and could be better also melee takes some time to get used to it. If you are going to get this game I would suggest get it on PC or next gen systems as the older ps4 and xbox have been struggling to play it. If you are looking for a RPG this is the game you want, if you want gta or a fps keep looking. Expand

Неинтересная примитивная стрелялка на неинтересную тематику с неинтересной атмосферой, забагованная, неоптимизированная. Что тут еще добавить?

If you look past the bugs, which I hope they will fix, the game is very good. Story, characters and graphics are truly next-gen. Now let's hope they can patch the broken and missing stuff, this should have never released like this.

Extremely good game! Sure, it as bugs, but it's still really awesome!! The story is super interesting and very well written. And your choices have consequences, which a lot of games don't have these days.... Sadly... But all in all its a awesome game.

Xbox - My experience has had it's moments however I'm loving the game. Although I haven't played it on PC, which I think most of the reviews are on about.

Had they waited longer or maybe pushed a limited beta a couple months ago they could possibly have fixed the worst bugs for sure.

My recommendation for people wanting to buy this game is to wait a couple of months, it will be in a much better state since they are collecting bug reports and pushing updates to fix them.

My prediction is that this game could possibly become a solid 9 IF they commit and keep fixing stuff along the way.

As a hardcore CDPR fan (PC) who has supported and played their games for thousands of hours (Gwent time 1051 hrs alone) there are so many legitimate issues with Cyberpunk and CDPR's PR/marketing.

    2. Even top tier PCs cannot handle the game at playable frames at any given time.
    3. I spent 1500$ and my PC still cannot run the game and I kept crashing at prologue for atleast 30 times!
    4. We're all so caught up with crashes and bugs that no one actually dives deep to explore how horrible AI and police system is in this game.
    5. CDPR should NOT get away and must suffer for what it's done to players who bought game.

Horrible frame rate, garbage resolution, literally millions of bugs, dishonest developer advertising as the game does not match videos and screenshots shown, frequent crashes, game runs incredibly poorly even on PC, and due to all of the above the game is not fun at all. This isn't a game; it's a mess and the developer owes the entire gaming community a big apology.

Maybe it's bugged but this world... It catches you and don't let go. Remember Skyrim? 500h played and yet not even started with main quest chain? Yup, I got feeling that's what cyberpunk will be. And I'm sure CDPR will do their best to deliver all fixes necessary ASAP.

In the first 48 hours of plying, does it have some bugs? Yea. Somethings that could use improvement? Sure. Am I having a blast playing it, enjoying multiple storylines, and happy with my purchase? Absolutely.

Cyberpunk 2077 may have some flaws...There are bugs, and stability issues, also the random events in the world could be fleshed out more. Overall though, I know CDprojektRED are dedicated to making this game great. Having a ton of fun and that's all I could ask for during a really crappy 2020...As it stands it's a 9 for me, but bumping up to a 10 to balance out the salty trolls.

The best metaphor for Cyberpunk 2077 is Johnny Silverhand himself. A messiah, a mix of Kurt Cobain and Che Guevara, a talented singer who loves to shape his own legend and has a charming personality but loses the struggle with his own demons. The same goes for the game. It tells a great story and forced me to ask myself difficult questions, but many of its gameplay mechanics do not evolve and its technical state upon release was abysmal. Cyberpunk’s true hero is not a person, but Night City – a vibrant, living creature of great diversity. The beauty of the metropolis is striking. [01/2021, p.22]

Cyberpunk 2077 is one of the most disturbing and mind-blowing RPGs in history, where every decision has a deep impact on our trail. CD Projekt RED tosses us to the center of a city filled with disgusting delights where every character deserves our attention in an immersive experience and overall, very rewarding. From the sarcastic and shadowy tone imposed by the countless scenes in the game, to the flexibility we have on the choices to face every situation that is presented, Night City is truly memorable. It’s a shame that the countless bugs spoil or diminish the impact of some resounding moments, but we are without a question, in the presence of one of the best games in 2020.

Measured against the extreme expectations, Cyberpunk 2077 can't fulfill any of them. But all in all, despite the countless small weaknesses and inconsistences, with interesting characters, great story and dialogues or the freedom concerning gameplay, CD Projekt delivers a unique and great RPG that every fan of the genre needs to play.
