    *Playing on PC*

Good gameplay (once you understand the mechanics).
Amazing world! I haven't played much of the main story yet (I think I'm still in the prologue) but I've managed to sink about 10 hours in just from side quests and exploration. Few bugs here and there but I'd say no more than a Bethesda/Obsidian gamr

In all honesty the game is good but not what many of as expected, the biggest problem right now are the bugs which will with time be solved. The main story is all right. In my opinion it should have been a longer and at a certain point it just died. On the other hand Night City is just breathtaking it is clear from the moment you enter the open world that CDPR really put a lot of effort in the making of Night City. Driving is good to some it will be bad but it is solid, combat is also pretty good but a word of warning to all you out there how have played Tom Clancy's The Division you now what I'm talking about. Hacking is also not to bad. All in all the game on PC is good, there are some pretty good aspects of the game and some need more time polishing. The score is 6.7 out of 10 because it just didn't live up to the hype. And I really hope that CDPR will take notes from this and learn from there mistakes. Expand

But why you give it to 0/10. Follaout 76 was total crap, really TOTAL CRAP, it has paid subscription it its still better according to some people then CP2077.
They will fix all the issues, give free DLC - this game has no microtransactions!!!!!

I must be very lucky because I’ve had zero relevant bugs, performance is rock solid, and the game systems are fun as hell to me. Story and characters are better than in any other game I’ve played. This is on a high/mid tier PC. I hope performance increases on base consoles, as there seem to be issues with them. That said, I cannot factor that in my review as I cannot confirm that myself.I must be very lucky because I’ve had zero relevant bugs, performance is rock solid, and the game systems are fun as hell to me. Texture looks ok, but the framerate is terrible. The water looks horrible. The fading issue is very obvious, no matter if you are running or driving.
Above are the less important issues. Now here is more important issues.

UI sucks and the logic to control the controller is weird, very weird. Navigating between different UIs is very difficult. Some of the UI won't go away in the right bottom corner, which totally make me unable to see what actions I can do in current mission. Driving experience sucks, really sucks, you better run to the destination other than driving. Driving a sport feels like driving a truck, can you believe that? And the car is so stupidly slow! AI driving on mission is unacceptable, it's so slow that your character walks faster! And in the car, when the AI wants the say stupid thing, you can't fast-forward! You have to listen to those nonsense! And even the car is slow, the AI is dumb, they won't hesitate crash into any pendastrianer! How did those suckser got their driver license? Rendering is very weird, there is a mission that goes into completly black! The game has a lot of features, but no tutorial will tell you how to use those. And I can't pass the thrid toturial mission, because of some weird bug, can you believe that? With patch 1.04, now my game won't run two mins without crashing, wtf?

Bugs can be excusable when talking about project of such scale (and none of them are game breaking for me, just a few flying phones and disappearing people in the crowd). GamePlay: The Level Design, or in this case The City and the nomad lands, looks great. The city really feels like its cut in sections that the 3 “categories” Corp, Streat kid, and the Nomad. The Combat System was something to get used to, in my opinion, melee just sucked and didn't feel that rewarding to get into. Why choose that when a gun feels like it's doing 10x the damage a melee weapon will do. Didn't particularly like the stealth mechanics in this game, I don't, it feels like I got spotted too easily at times. Now the RPG Systems, Did some crafting but not much of it as i picked up a lot of the stuff often. Didn't buy a new car as that was too pricey for my blood so to speak. Did see the vendors, found it to be very pricy, and you will constantly get new stuff anyway. Narrative: Dialogue is alright, I frequently experience that the NPC I'm talking to and my character are talking over each other, which gets annoying after a while. Visuals: Ended up having to go on the High Graphic preset, which was the one that stayed most stable on both gameplay experience and recording quality. Cinematics/Cutscenes still lags slightly though. Story: This game got 3 Life Path choices, Nomad, Streetkid, and Corpo. The only difference between these 3 lifepaths is the prologue, other than that the story is pretty much the same. The story was interesting, the first few hours was basically a setup for the main event of the story. The main part of the story. The plot is that a heist goes wrong, resulting in you installing a biochip that ends up saving your life, then you will find out it's killing you and you will begin your story of getting it removed without killing yourself in the progress. Replayability: The replayability potential of this game is huge. It got content like side missions, and event that makes you potentially play this game for many hours. Pros & Cons: Pros: *Strong RPG Mechanic that just works for the game. *Incredible writing throughout almost all of the main and side quests. *You have an incredible amount of variation to build your perfect playstyle. Cons: *Customizing your Character is also not as fleshed out as CDPR told us before. This is caused by all the clothes having their own stats and no possibility of transmogging outfits. *some technical issues/bugs, and some are Gamebreaking. "9/10 – Fantastic. I enthusiastically recommend that you add these games to your to-play list. As it does not hit the amazing score, It is still an extremely good game. I recommend getting this game." ~DeathKillerNOR~ ⚠️ IN MY OPINION ⚠️

If it was just the bugs, I wouldn't have cared. This game is horrible in every way. I thought it would be somewhat like GTA 5 or Borderlands, which has snappy, smart and funny dialogue/characters/cutscenes, instead, it's like watching a TV show so bad you're not able to watch it, it has nothing but dumb, superficial and unrealistic dialogue meant to sound "cool and casual". It's like a 15 year old wrote it to convince his mom he's a sci-fi author, and this 15 year old adapted it to sound appropriate to braindead corporate managers judging if it's good enough to pass as dialogue. The voices are also pitched low to make everything that's said sound like in a war movie the whole time, "we're so badass we can't help ourselves having this whiskey voice".

The "hacking" stuff is even dumber than that. It's unecessary and tacky, it's ridiculous. It's like a B-movie in which the main character has a "hacker" on his side that "hacks" the "CIA mainframe" in a few seconds because he's such an awesome hacker. It's like a 70 year old CEO who needs help to print a Word document decided "this feels like sci-fi". Some of the hacking turns into a minigame in which you click numbers on the right side of the screen identical to numbers on the left side of the screen, which is a brain-numbing, pointless waste of time, it's literally something a three year old could do, but if it was more difficult, it would be even more annoying, it's something that shouldn't be in the game, it's basically a punch in the face as to how unrealistic and stupid the game is.

Then there's the gameplay. I thought, "OK, this is a horrible game, but with the reviews in mind, the combat has to make up for it". The combat is slow, choppy and annoying and has you headshot people 5-10 times and they're still alive, and they're not bosses that are supposed to be hard to kill. They walk around slowly as if nothing's happening, like they're mingling at a barbeque, they're like sitting ducks that has to be shot 20 times. It doesn't feel like they're a threat, you can just arbitrarily take cover now and then to let the game justify that you survive. This is not "gaming console sickness", lots of console games has a million times better combat than this. Almost all of them, actually. It made me remember what it was like to play "Robocop" on the Commodore 64.

The graphics engine must be horribly badly made, I'm on a new $8000 dollar computer with the best Nvidia Geforce video card and the framerate is horrible. Having looked around in the bathroom where the game begins, I exited the game, stripped down Windows and updated the drivers just in case. It didn't help. Then I read on the internet about frequent framerate drops and a lot of other people having much bigger problems than me.

The stealth training session was an assurance that whole deal of sneaking around throughout the rest of the game will feel like a pointless and constantly annoying exercise. You can walk by a guard right in front of him at a distance of, like, 4 meters, and he can't see you if you duck down while you do it. There is, believe it or not, lots of other fantastically stupid things I could've brought up. Considering what judgements can be made about the people who made this game, it's certain there's not gonna be any redeeming features throughout the game. It's not suddenly going to start to get better later in the game. In a small way, it's like I knew that the moment I had to click "Breach" instead of "Ok" when I started the game, what... stupid... idiot... switched out "ok" with "breach" just because "breach" is a word used in relation to hacking? In conclusion: This is the worst game I've played and I was suckered into buying it by reviewers I'm never gonna trust the rest of my life. Since they all praised this game in unison, it's 100% clear now there must be some kind of system with kickbacks that rewards good reviews. I've asked Steam for a refund and there will be no place on this Earth for them to hide if I don't get it.

Aside from ALL the bugs (in Jackie's last scene his gun floats to the middle of his head and sits there poking out both sides and he speaks his last words to me) it hard crashes every 1 hour or so. The driving is so bad, the physics are just garbage (you run over a person and your car leaves the ground 2 feet), its just not fun. I'm gonna wait a while for this game to be finished and I'll pick it up again and see how it is. But for now I don't think the game is ready and hopefully I can get into it then. Expand

I'm giving this game such a low score because they failed on every front except for aesthetic. This game at it's best, a clunky shooter disguised as an rpg. The intros were painfully short, the exposition is mind numbingly boring and the game struggles to let the player know where they're at or why the "plot" is important. The vehicle mechanics are bad, 90% of the music is annoying. ThereI'm giving this game such a low score because they failed on every front except for aesthetic. The vehicle mechanics are bad, 90% of the music is annoying. There are tons of scripted dialogues and events happening at the same time during parts of the exposition, and they bombard the players senses so that you cannot focus on anything that's actually happening. The writing is too theatric, trying to develop the jargon of this time period and attempting to give the characters depth, but it just comes off as pretentious. As a matter of fact, everything in this game feels either too pretentious or obnoxious. I'm well aware of the themes of the cyberpunk genre, and 2077 meets the aesthetic, but also makes a cheap date out of the franchise. Expand

I have a comparison of the game on low / medium settings, and on the maximum. On the first mentioned ones, I play on my computer (GTX 1060). In the second case, I play Geforce now, so I have a comparison of how the whole game behaves.

Overall, the game has an incomparable atmosphere, which draws us in without asking for permission to the charms of Night City. Story missions have unexpected twists and this is what I, as a player, expect from the game.

It is true that there are quite a few bugs, but I haven't come across any, I emphasize NO bug that would block me from playing. All the bugs I encountered were graphic bugs such as the NPC mouth not synchronizing with the sound, a box that was flying next to the hand, a phone or a cigarette that was left in the air. There was only one of the bugs that irritated me a bit, but maybe it's the settings (I played on my PC), namely the textures of the bushes in the wasteland (AV mission) broke through the others, so I didn't fully see my opponents.

Anyway, these aren't bugs that prevent me from enjoying the game and I know it's just a matter of time until CDPR refines everything in hotfixes.

CDPR is probably one of the only AAA devs that care about making a narrative driven world with incredible characters and an A+ story. Cyberpunk definitely delivers in this regards, I'm a little over 20 hours in and the Main Quests, Side Quests, and characters are just what I was expecting from the writing team. Once we dive deeper in, however, we start to notice cracks. Yes, there are bugs... a lot of bugs. I'm playing on a higher end PC so i've only experienced a handful (none of them game breaking) but I acknowledge the fact that some PC and console players are having a difficult time getting into the game because of all the bugs. Honestly, this was the case with The Witcher 3's launch. The only difference is that our standards for videogames have gone up some. When we buy a game, we expect it to be finished. Despite this, I have no doubt that CDPR will fix this game over the next few months to make the game that they want. With that said, the launch is pretty disappointing.

But I'm not disappointed with the actual game by any means. The game I'm playing is the one that I expected and hoped for. I wasn't expecting a fully dynamic city where each NPC has unscripted routines and personalities (i've learnt from Bethesda that stuff like that just wont happen). I wasn't expecting incredible gun play that would revolutionize all of gaming. I wasn't expecting driving mechanics that top GTA or an open world feel that could rival RD2. I WAS expecting an immersive RPG set in the Cyberpunk universe that delivers an incredible narrative and story, with in game choices that allowed me to play the story the way I want so that everyone could have a unique experience. That's the game I got

The game is going to run smoothly in PS5 and the small glitches here and there will be fixed in a patch soon. That's what happens always with big and complex games. Now besides the technical part, we have to judge the game AS A GAME! Cyberpunk in terms of story is quite simple but still enjoyable to follow. The graphics are BREATHTAKING, there are a ton of small details and the voice acting is on point. The soundtracks are catchy and the action overall is just fine. Nothing too fancy neither boring. Moreover, the multiple choices that you can make in the game, make it very enjoyable to play since you decide "to a degree always" what is happening. Something more that's very cool is the "streamer mode" that can make the game streamable without having fear of demonetization. In general, I like the game and I can easily recommend it. If you have a good pc or a PS5 then go for it without hesitation. Cyberpunk's worth your money and time. On the other hand, if you have a ps4 or a really old/ weak pc and CDPR cant fix the game so it can run on old-gen systems, then.....welcome to the "My old system cant run the game" club. Expand

Game mechanics is annoying and unsatisfying. I can't point out exactly what the issue is, in my opinion overall feeling is just bad. Storyline is very meh, not really engaging. There are plenty of bugs but those are irrelevatn, just some minor hickups in animations, textures, dialogues etc. Interface is overly complicated and not very user friendly. Car handling is unbearable. Feel of the city - empty, bugged, synthetic, unnatural.

I forced myself to play for about 10hours, of which every next one was more annoying than previous. I played soooo many similar games, the overwhelming feeling of duplicity followed me on every step. Perhaps something fresh was what i lacked the most

For C2077 I was waiting for a long long time, probably as everyone else but I am so disappointed about this game that I quit raged today and asked for refund from GOG and here's why.

First of all I find the colours and graphics too shiny and "epileptic". It hurst when I look at it and driving a car is sometimes not possible due to sun rays gleaming at my eyes.

The game is not user friendly. I consider myself an experienced gamer but it really is all too much for me at once. The mechanics as gunshots and targeting, especially when You use a controller, is so bad that I couldn't even take a good shot at somebody, so how can I win a gunfight? I use nVidia Shield with nVidia gamepad and it is an unbearable torture. Car handling is taken from some cheap 1$ racing simulator i believe.

Then there is the Night City... I don't like the construction of it at all, it is too big for my liking. I loved the vastness of Witcher 3, RDR2 or Kingdom Come: Deliverance where You can wrap Your head around the locations but the Night City just gives me a headache and I don't feel the slightest urge to explore it and believe me, I always try to explore every single place to get all the findings and lore.

At the end: the plot.... honestly I don't know the plot. I spent couple of hours doing some prologue and first act but the game is so annoying and not well thought of that I quit before I was even able to divie into it.

To wrap it up, I am so upset, frustrated, disappointed and sad that the game I was hyped for is not playable for me. Maybe in the future, after the game has been updated I will consider giving it one more try, but as for now I just wait for my refund and look for something else to play.

Shame on You CD Project, shame on You....

The only two complaints I have is that some side quests feel really repetitive, most side quests are actually great and intriguing, and that the game would've clearly needed some more time in development to fix bugs and minor issues, but this is something I can't really blame CPDR for because of all the complaints they got from people to finally release it already. All in all it's clear that Cyberpunk won't revolutionize the whole gaming industry but it delivers what it promises, at least on PC. Expand

Greatest game ever in my opinion!
You HAVE TO play on PC! I don't understand how anyone expected this to run well on last gen consoles! PS4 was released in 2013!! And even then it was like a medium range laptop. So of course it can't handle it like a decent gaming PC right now! But with all that being said, looking back at Witcher3 we are all sure that CDPR will update and patch this very soon!

I honestly think this might be the best game ever made. However, I do agree with some of the criticism the game is getting. It should’ve delayed the last gen ports another six months. However, besides that, I didn’t have any serious complaints. Yes, there are glitches. There are visual errors. There are probably errors I haven’t even seen yet. Personally, in game development, a game needs to come out at some point. So when people say the game should’ve been delayed another six months. Well, in that time, what are artists, story writers and people in non programming positions suppose to do. Begin to work on DLC? While the game is in development? Heavens no.

So then what. They start thinking of adding more to the core experience, and this introduces more bugs, which the programmers then need to squash, and the cycle continues.

Or, I guess people in non programming positions could just sit on their hands for six months getting paid to do nothing. More likely though in this situation they’d just be put on leave, and might not come back when it’s time to work on the DLC.

The game had three separate delays. There comes a point when you just need to release it.

I would've loved to give this game more than that, but...
After waiting for 8 years of development, comes out a $60 title, that on my Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060, 6GB, Windows 10 64-bit, can't even launch the game itself. Even after doing all of the woodoo around drivers and other software updating, game just decides to not work further than its launcher.

By others' reviews it seems, that game is extremely unpolished and bugged, but as a person who really wanted to play it for this entire time, it breaks my heart, knowing, that CD Projekt Red, out of all people, would release something so unbaked as this to the point that game can't even be launched.
There are people who are sincerely enjoying the game right now, but I have to evaluate the game from my personal experience.
My PC is far from being a potato and can run modern games on ultras with 60+ fps no problems. I periodically update my software and drivers, so that I could use various programms for work. At the very least AAA-title should've at least let me in to the menu, but it can't do even that.
I'm very upset that developers, who are known for a very positive reputation towards their community would release their product in such a state.
I'm sorry, but from my experience this game should've been in development a few more months, if not an additional year.
There is no saying if the game will start on any device whatsoever, so the best recommendation would be to wait a few months for more updates and patches to come that would fix game breaking and visual bugs, before buying.
Cyberpunk2077 gets 1 point for letting itself being downloaded and then infinitely crashed. What a shame.

The flavor is there but the stupid industrial decision to realese it and then fix it is something VERY VERY BAD. Is worst when you think that CDPROJEKTRED said that they were different and they aren't, just another company that uses marketing and sells stupid buggy ****
The story is good but we are not stupid the game is UNFINISHED.

This is the worst game I have ever played, this company has stolen us all, it does not deserve any mercy, much less recognition, they have made fun of the entire community of console players. The optimization is disappointing, its graphical instability declining. this company should be sued for hoax and scam..

The best metaphor for Cyberpunk 2077 is Johnny Silverhand himself. A messiah, a mix of Kurt Cobain and Che Guevara, a talented singer who loves to shape his own legend and has a charming personality but loses the struggle with his own demons. The same goes for the game. It tells a great story and forced me to ask myself difficult questions, but many of its gameplay mechanics do not evolve and its technical state upon release was abysmal. Cyberpunk’s true hero is not a person, but Night City – a vibrant, living creature of great diversity. The beauty of the metropolis is striking. [01/2021, p.22]

Cyberpunk 2077 is one of the most disturbing and mind-blowing RPGs in history, where every decision has a deep impact on our trail. CD Projekt RED tosses us to the center of a city filled with disgusting delights where every character deserves our attention in an immersive experience and overall, very rewarding. From the sarcastic and shadowy tone imposed by the countless scenes in the game, to the flexibility we have on the choices to face every situation that is presented, Night City is truly memorable. It’s a shame that the countless bugs spoil or diminish the impact of some resounding moments, but we are without a question, in the presence of one of the best games in 2020.

Measured against the extreme expectations, Cyberpunk 2077 can't fulfill any of them. But all in all, despite the countless small weaknesses and inconsistences, with interesting characters, great story and dialogues or the freedom concerning gameplay, CD Projekt delivers a unique and great RPG that every fan of the genre needs to play.
