    I can just barely play this pile of dog sh!7 on my computer. And all I got was a MW3 Clone. My hopes dried up long ago for COD being good again, and Activision wants to keep the drought going.

    The moment I saw that COD had Eminem's name tag on it, I knew that I had to buy this game. The Campaign is amazing, the ending is suspenseful. Dammit you guys must play this game!!

The colors, the graphics, the weapons and uniforms are all so blue/gray that it blends all surroundings and looks too cartoonish. Sadly the best of the COD series remains COD4 & MW2. The weapons, movement, in-game fluidity are far superior in the older games and it this game lacks that realism.

    Sadly Activision could take MW2, enhance the weapon attachments, perk system, kill streaks, uniforms and add a function to personalize clan tags, etc... and drastically grow the map collections and have a far superior game! Why try so many changes while continually failing when you have a great game to build on? Sure you tried it with MW3 and it was a valiant effort but the fact is, you did it quickly and it is very glitchy.
    Activision is now trying to put out the new COD Advance Warfare after stealing ideas from Titanfall. The weapons are still junk and the maps are mediocre.    … Expand

    Call Of Duty Ghosts just rocks! Excellent plot, great soundtrack and very action packed and visual stunning single player campaign. Just fun to play as all the games in the COD series.

    Before I got this game, I was debating to get this one over BO2. After some time, I thought I'd give the COD series one more shot. Since Treyacrch did a way better job designing part of the COD franchise. I've been in love with the way Treyarch handled part of the series, and I will continue to buy their games. It seems as if they just care about making their money. They never fix anything. If they do, it's months later. Their new map pack is about to come out, and on the PC, there is NO ONE playing. It takes forever to find a lobby.I'm a fan of both BF, and COD, but bf4, and this ghosts, are awful. If you are planning to get this, don't. There is so much lag, the graphics are good, only if you have a really good computer to run it. I have a really good computer, I can barely run it at full graphics without it chopping up. I run every other game on my computer MAX graphics and still get 60-80 FPS. Even Assassins Creed. On top of all that, the guns are stupid. Once again, everyone picks the top gun, and nothing else. Since you will get outgunned every single time. The hit detection is great, the lag is what makes that look like **** I normally don't spend time writing reviews, but this game is terrible. I recommend it to no one. Not even COD fans. The reviews that are good, after playing this game, and giving it the benefit of the doubt, I regret listening to the good reviews. They honestly must be casual gamer's. The only thing I like, is the design behind the create-a-class. Please don't get this game. I wasted my money on the DLC like an idiot.… Expand

    CoD has been died with this game.I will never buy any CoD game anymore. Gameplay is so boring, Character called "Logan Walker" is so boring person, singleplayer is so bad, multiplayer is good but not enough.

    This game doesn't require a 64-bit operating system at all. It's still the same game, engine, everything. Considering they ran it on Xbox 360 and PS3 it clearly shows that it didn't need or have to be 64-bit on PC. If anything, I think it's just a cheap marketing tactic to trick people into thinking that the engine has been upgraded when it hasn't at all.

    The graphics are pretty much the same, fairly low resolution textures, the same shadows, everything.

    It's very disappointing. If anything, Ghosts is a step backwards because they user interface is slightly more confusing adding along a point system to save up and buy weapons to make everyone diverse in terms of weapons and equipment.

    As for the port, it's quite bad. The frame rate goes up and down like a yo-yo because it's been optimised poorly. You need to turn off a few options to get decent frame rate as well as set all the textures to 'extra' as they're blurry if set to automatic. Although, I will say I do like that they've added multiple options for anti-aliasing such as FXAA and MSAA as well as MLAA which I think all developers should include in their games as I really don't like FXAA because it looks awful. Although I will say the only game I think has done a decent job at FXAA is Bioshock Infinite but anyway...

    Overall, it's a fairly bad port, pretty much the same game, small maps, simply bad. Hey, guess what they're going to do in the next Call of Duty... That's right. The exact same thing! They'll sucker you into their marketing tactics just like Ghosts. That is, if you keep buying the exact same game every year which I hope you dont.    … Expand

    I attempted to play the free weekend on Steam. Many enemies were invulnerable as I shot at them, I was told this is a common bug. This is the 10th version of CoD released on the quake3 engine, and there still persist bugs like this. What has been done to this franchise is literally the exemplification of the destruction of the creative element of game design. The matchmaking sucks matching me with level 60s, the game was so bright that it burns my eyes when I was in the level, the team balancing doesn't exist, and the guns are too overpowered. And don't get me started about the "DLC" Because most of it is microtransactions,This game is the worst game I've played. And I'm not going to mention the graphics.     Ive trying to play this game. Even besides the flaws of the engine, this writing of this game is so horrible it quite literally made me want to vomit. I just wasnt able to play any more minute after round about ~30 minutes of into the game, only crying about the time ive wasted

    Just bought this piece of s&#t game. Tried to play multiplayer - after I saw what "bullet hole" textures are, I almost threw up on my brand new $2000 mSi laptop. After ditching singleplayer, tried to play multiplayer. Everytime I have to play, I have to shut off the VoIP - the voices of pre-teenage kids with their obscene language drove me completely mad.
    So after half an hour I    Just bought this piece of s&#t game. Tried to play multiplayer - after I saw what "bullet hole" textures are, I almost threw up on my brand new $2000 mSi laptop.     This game was dead on PC in about one month. No respect at all from IW for the PC community. No adjustable FOV at start, and max 80 after a lot of complaints. No dedicated, rentable servers, no steam integration... killed in one bullet... shame on you IW

    The single player campaign although a little unrealistic and over-exaggerated is entertaining and absorbing. I enjoyed the gunfights and the mixing it up with the dog, tanks, space, choppers, ships, etc. I found the campaign a little too short to justify the $60.     It's Call of Duty, but now you can turn contextual lean on. Pretty amazing i know. Well the game runs fine as always. Looks fine, but just cause it's not broken doesnt make it good. Boring unrealistic stories 4 life.

    So let's get that out of the way: The Singleplayer mode is quite entertaining. Nothing special, but better than in other modern CoD games. But the multiplayer is where all the problems are. - No real dedicated servers (You can't select which server you want to join, you can't rent them, can't modify them, cant moderate them, can't see them, can't feel    -Unplayable and unpleasant-

    So let's get that out of the way: The Singleplayer mode is quite entertaining.
    Nothing special, but better than in other modern CoD games.

    But the multiplayer is where all the problems are.

    - No real dedicated servers (You can't select which server you want to join, you can't rent them, can't modify them, cant moderate them, can't see them, can't feel them.)

    In this regard, Infinity Ward are plain liars.

    - terrible lags (I think others confuse them to be caused by lag compensation, but it's just regular good old lags. Get used to being shot dead at the frame you see the opponent the first time.)

    - umpleasant host migration

    - bad spawning position

    - prone is broken (You mostly can't go into prone or can't aim or move while in prone. Every small polygone around you seems to block you in this regard.)

    - losing complete conenction to a session (and by that all the unsaved kills and XP)

    - any teammate running near/next to you will block your movement, forcing you to go the wrong direction, simulating a really bad lag

    - your framerate can drop from a steady 90fps to a screen frozen for 3 seconds ramdomly at every moment

    - the "physics" are so bad, you constantly outcry in disbelief that what just happened made the the ragdoll behave like it did. Golden Eye 64 had more realistic looking deaths.

    - the Ripper (DLC weapon) feels like pay-2-win

    - your menu can have heavy, randome slowdowns

    - the audio is suttering

    - your mouse feels like it's skipping over the screen

    Even on a power-beast of a computer, this game runs like it's the leaked beta of Crysis 5.

    But the Graphics actually don't look that bad if you turn everything on ultra.
    It sure is o Battlefield 3, but I think it looks much better than Counter Strike : Global Offensive.

    It's really a shame, because if all those problems weren't, this game would have some nice multiplayer, and I would give it a 8/10.
    I really love the maps, the weapons and items, the mechanics and balancing, the game mods and timing. But it's just not playable. And Infinity Ward doesn't care about that. The game is out, they made some small patches, defended their lies and released some expensive DLC. Now they moved to their next project, leaving behind the idiots whom bought this game.

    This was the first CoD by Infinity Ward that I've bought.

    I really like this game, The campaign is nice, My friend has bought this game only for single-player and co-op. I like the new Co-op. We play it on an old xbox 360, Only the videos can lag a bit. I think this is the best COD since world at war.

    i despise this game soo hard i have been ripped off of 60$ over a game with a error that cant be fixed i have the minimum requirements met it just wont load even after they took the limiter off it still had same error if only i could get a refund over a crappy game that wouldnt even launch

I picked up Call of Duty Ghosts on PC and I've had a crazy fun time with it. There's over 2k 0 and 1 star reviews for the game from fans of the series, that's pretty puzzling. Its just the same thing from MW1. Full of 12 year old **** and it gets boring in a day. There is very little destructible environment compared to BF4.     This game is optimized very poorly. I have a 4gb 760, which is what Nvidia recommends for the game, and i can get over 45. And to top it all off, it stutters so much, the game is unplayable, and that's not even with the settings all the way up.

    Honestly why would anyone ever even consider this pile of crap a game worth while? I made a nice youtube review about it, explaining how utterly stupid it is from the get go, and pointing out why I uninstalled it and forced Steam to remove it from my game list.

    I had Call of Duty: Ghosts installed about a month ago but never really got into the game. At the time I was impressed with the visuals and the overall experience of playing the game. I am going to give the game another go and this time I will persevere at the game to get further into the game.

I know that call of duty is optimized for consoles running at 60 fps on Xbox 360 that is no excuse for next gen Battlefield 4 now runs at 60 fps on both next gen consoles and is a bigger game than cod: ghosts. that does not mean it was absolutely terrible the campaign wasa lot of you can agree with me that call of duty is just the same game over and over again and just a cash grab.     After waiting a few minutes because there is no much players avaliable i started the game.

    In the first few seconds i see an player running and crossing a door and i'm in his back.
    I just start running in his direction as i'm in his back he is not seeing me.
    What happen is when i cross the door he is aiming in my direction and shooting!

    Seeing the replay the player by nothing has just stop going in the direction and returning back to my direction aiming down.
    When I cross the door he just shot.

    Ok, coincidences happen.
    I play for more a few minutes and the player is the TOP in the team with zero deaths.

    OK, the player can be a super skilled guy with a long time of play in the map.

    But in the end what happens is that games like that doens't attrack new players and some old players that just enjoy a good action FPS giveup.

    There is a minority of super/mega/power players that must play in dedicated rooms with only themselves.

    Maybe we merelly mortals with normal skills deserve a game that we can play with fun.

    Just forget to buy this game.
    You will only see a lot of cheaters or super power players that you won't have fun.    … Expand

    Still the same tired mechanics and tropes. Terrible AI which walk backwards into firefights on the hardest difficulty, textures which made me feel like I've went back in time. The only part which reminded me it was past the year 2000 was the underwater segment, but it was hardly redeeming when I ran into a fish which were purported to be programmed to move out of the way.

All of these were so big that they took the Modern Warfare ones and duplicated them enough to make 4 "sequels," with one new release every year. In the big move to Next-Gen consoles, what do we get? Nothing. ILet's face it. Modern Warfare was an awesome game. In fact, MW1 was so great that they continued the series with World at War. After another big success, we got a second MW2. All of these were so big that they took the Modern Warfare ones and duplicated them enough to make 4 "sequels," with one new release every year. In the big move to Next-Gen consoles, what do we get? Nothing. I seriously took this game and checked in across from MW2, and to be honest, it looks like some really popular modder's "MW2 Advanced." It seriously doesn't even have enough changes to it to make it a great sequel. Speaking of which, has anyone heard of "CoD: Advanced Warfare?" It's already queued for release in November.

    Aside from that, the port is awful. It's clunky, it's badly optimized, it takes 40 GB of space (enough to install 3 Total War games and Battlefront II), and it still has bad graphics. It's just a bad game in general.

    Why does it not have a flat-out zero? It got one point because I really liked CoD 1-5, and even 6 a little bit. It also got one more point because they're not the only ones doing this. They're following suit with Battlefield, and even Assassin's Creed and Dead Space now. The fact that we find more from independent developers than we do AAA is just all around a horrible thing.     Yet again, a copy and paste game!!!! ThIs game is so bad when it comes to multiplayer. Bad community, lag, unbalanced weapons (like Black Ops RTM and MW2), etc. The singleplayer isn't that bad, but nothing special.

    So, I don't recommend this game. This game is even WORSE than MW3, which was rated as worst game of 2011 by many people.

    Personally, I think that this game is an upgrade from Black Ops 2. I'm especially fond of the new Extinction mode, it's a welcome change from the old Zombies games. The game is, although it's "the same as the others", fun to play. Sliding around the map avoiding the other team can be pretty amusing. What's so wrong with this game for it to have such a low score?

    Just played it on steam for free weekend. But deleted it after 5 minutes of playing. The graphics are so bad, cod 4 looks better. I also had fps drops, and to connect to a game it takes ages.

    The graphics are not too shabby. I'm not sure why everyone says they suck. Must be because they turned all the settings on low. On ultra, the game looks and runs fantastic. Again, I'm not sure why everyone says it's not optimized. No issues here. The campaign story was a blast. I had no interest in Multiplayer. All in all, it's not as bad as some make it out to be.     Main Problem: Maps are not as fun; too big and no UAV's
    Story was never as good as the black ops ones
    No options for buying indavidual maps for extinction instead of all the other useless maps
    Overpriced Weapon, Camos and character DLCs
    Michael Myers and Predator? What next? David Hasselhoff?

    Overall rating: 2/10 because you can slide and there are explosions in one of the levels

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. So here goes my in depth review of multiplayer only, because face it that is the only reason people play COD. So your thrust into a world with future weapons representing copy and paste clones of previous weapons with new textures. You can literally find copy and paste objects from previous installments of COD. Cars are indestructible btw.
    So I play and after a while I get the hang of it and start getting good because yes it does play a bit different. The only thing is that the killstreaks make no sense, except the dog, oh wait should I say wolf. Yes you can change your dog into a wolf. So I go on a miniature rampage and get a ten kill killstreak. Awesome right?! Sadly to say it is not. My "reward" for getting ten kills in a row without dying (if you hate dying 6-8 times in a row do not play this game) is a suit of armor. Sounds cool right? Nope because your armor removes all of your guns. Your left with only a knife. A knife. Yes. A damn knife. So ten kills in a row your reward is to be stripped down to a knife which you already had to start the match with.
    So I say screw that kill streak. Another good game comes. Go on a 12 kill awesomeness. What do I get. I get killed. Yes you get killed. Your own killstreak automatically murders you. And you get a sniper in a helicopter. So you have to drive a helicopter while sniping people who take about 3 shots to kill with a sniper. The dog riley is awesome though because if your character starts with 100 health Riley starts with aboout 800 health or so,
    So forget the killstreaks. Lets get into how the guns shoot work animate whatever. They do not sound like guns. For someone who goes hunting on a regular basis and has used fully automatic weapons these damn things are ridiculous. They sound like potato shooters. Camos are ridiculous. Cats in space camos and rubber duckies.
    Character movement is pretty fluid though and the slide is pretty awesome if you can master it. You can shoot while sliding which kinda makes you feel like Rambo mixed with an old Arnold Scharshanegger movie. Jumping over objects and sprinting is pretty smooth as well.

    So what you have in a single match is guys running around with a knife and indestructible armor, wolves on the battlefield, rubber ducky camos, and snipers in helicopters. Followed up by people sliding and shooting potato shooters.
    I gave it a 1 because of character movement.
    This game reminds me a lot of another game, Team fortress 2. But i am sure that they were not aiming for that when they made this game so that is why i gave it such a low score.

    The story is intriguing but ends on a terrible cliffhanger,the multiplayer is broken and how people can view this as better than Halo or Battlefield is beyond reason.The only reason Activision continues this series is that its an annual source of money.Dont buy it,consider other games like this.

The graphics aren't bad, they remind me of the way the Modern Warfare series looked. The new customization options are fun to mess around with.     This is quite a good arcade shoter game, but they kept the same gameplay for too long, and the only changes brought for 4 years are "this can level up, you can customize this a bit more" and that's all. That's what I expect when I buy DLCs or expansion packs, not a brand new game. Also, the skins dlc are what I expect in a free-to-play game, not a game I paid 60 €, I know that you don't need to buy them, but when you take a weapon from one's guy that you saw because -let's face it- you see those weapons from a mile away, you feel pity for the guy who paid for it.

    The singleplayer campaign is just like any COD singleplayer campaign. You don't get the feeling that you are the underdog that much. Speaking of dog, they really did put one in the game to say "if you don't like this single player campaing it's because you don't like cute dogs".

    Overall, this game feels like Activision stopped aiming at the pc market and aims at console fanboys who didn't see (yet) the same game with different models for 10 years.    … Expand

    Ghosts has great multiplayer, and it is getting better over time. However that doesn't stop the game community from ruining it completely.
    Glitchers, exploiters, aimbots, triggerbots, and hackers still lurk in Ghosts, and it takes the fun out of the game's Multiplayer, but it again is being cracked down on.

    I've never played the campaign, and I have heard of the copy-paste scenes from MW2, but right now, that's all I have now on the Campaign mode.

    The last thing that there is in Ghosts is the new mode, Extinction. And it involves shooting aliens to survive while carrying out tasks to do away with the extraterrestrial beings like drilling through hives, and defending said drill from the aliens. It's actually really fun once you get good at it. Overall, Extinction is a fun zombie-like mode, but it is REALLY hard on the first try.

    There are some things that I find in the **** reviews that boggles my mind, so I'll go over them.

    BO2 and Ghosts are made by 2 different companies. Bugs may not be addressed by the same company, so don't think that Ghosts will address the same issues, because Infinity Ward **** up a lot.

    Where can I start. This is by far the WORST game I have ever played in my entire life. It's also the only game I have ever regretted buying. I have a GTX 670, which I think is more than enough to play a game like this at 1080p with no stuttering, but no. The gameWhere can I start. This is by far the WORST game I have ever played in my entire life. It's also the only game I have ever regretted buying. I have a GTX 670, which I think is more than enough to play a game like this at 1080p with no stuttering, but no. The game stutters and freezes all the time, and when you ADS, it gets even worse. Then, there is the lack of an FOV slider. I don't quite understand what they were thinking with this, how can you make a game that is played in first person, without an FOV slider.

    After all the graphical faults, the game play is just as bad, if not worse. In previous Call of Duty games, you could lean by pressing a pre-determined button, but now that they have to add this to the new consoles, they decide to ruin it for PC players as well. There's also the unlocking system that was in some previous CoD games (not Black Ops 2) that nobody I know of liked, so they decided to bring it back... What are you thinking Activision? It's almost as if they are trying to make this a horrible game. Then, there are the mouse sensitivity jumps. I don't know what causes this, but seemly at random times, the mouse randomly changes sensitivity, making it very difficult to play.

    If anyone reading this is thinking about buying this game, even after seeing all these low scores, don't.. Just don't. I pre-ordered it, thinking it would be an improvement over Black Ops 2 (an amazing game) but came to realize in the first hour of playing it, that it was an awful game. I have tried and tried again to give it another chance because I want to like it. Maybe it's because I don't want to feel like I wasted $60 on a POS game, but I can't.

    Recently, I was playing just to get the last of my cards from the game, and maybe make $0.50, so I would have enough in my Steam wallet to buy Goat Simulator when it comes out. I played for under an hour, and the game makes my second monitor go black, crashes twice, and forcibly changes my Windows them from Aero to basic.

    Overall, I hope no one buys this game in the future, and I wish that I nor anyone else wasted there money on this game in the past. I will never buy another CoD game again, and I hope that Activision goes out of business after this fail of a game. (I know this will not happen, but one can dream)

However the severe lack of micro DLC held this game back at the start they've really picked it up with even £3 camo packs soon to come. If I had to find a flaw with this game it would have to be setting there FoV at 65 with no way to change it.
