    Epic Game Store refusing to give me a refund.

    The game won’t run on my computer. it freezes during the claptrap load screen in both DX11 and DX12. I have a GTX 1070. I7 6700K, 32 GB RAM. Tried to refund the game but epic store didnt allow because i had more than 2 hours on the game. ( 2 hours trying to find out what the hell i cant pass the loading screen ). I learn that i will    Epic Game Store refusing to give me a refund.

    This is game is broken mess, with the fact It being an epic exclusive being the icing on the sh1tcake.
    Best part is, performance problems are caused by an anti piracy DRM. So in turn when the game inevitably gets pirated not only will they have the game for free, but they will have a smother experience than any of us who actually wasted    Have over 2k hours in bl1 2 and presequel combined.

    Finally, game releases. Was so anticipating this release.
    Unlike, the previous titles, this one isn't an improvement.
    Can't say I would recommend it at all. Knowing what I know now, I'd wouldn't have even wasted my money and time. Especially, after all the hype... Please, don't judge me. I am just a game addict and was hoping for another great Borderlands title. Couldn't keep    Finally, game releases. Was so anticipating this release.

    The little time I did play it for was just excruciatingly painful, the game is just pushing weird SJW virtue signaling crap on to the player, cringy as hell, had to get a refund, no way I was going to sit through 40+ hours of that. my brain can only take so much.

    Disable cloud save if you are playing on PC and using Epic, inconveniently Epic has auto cloud saving, but it doesn't actually save any of your progress. I repeat IT DOES NOT SAVE ANY OF YOUR PROGRESS. So after replaying the first 16 hours of the game again (yes I lost 16 hours of progress :D) I had the opportunity to really appreciate    I've never written a review before, but here we go.

The user inter face bugs, the dialogue cuts, the unskippable 5 minute cut scenes, the inability to turn in quests, inability to respawn quest vehicles, enemy AI somehow being worse than it was in the last game, inconsistent frame rates (across all resolutions), and my personal favorite items disappearing from the bank like they did in 2!

    Honestly I'm enjoying the story and the side quests feel like there was more effort put into them which is nice, but the game desperately needs polish. As someone who played Borderlands 2 over a thousand hours I consider my self a huge fan of the series, but at the moment the amount of bugs I'm encountering trying to do anything just frustrates me. If you are having a better experience congratulations but I doubt you are, you're just putting the blinders on and ignoring the bugs like I did my first 16 hours.    … Expand

    PS4 version, apart from numerous glitches and low frame rate had the entire system crash twice. I have put over 2,000 hours into borderlands 1/2/ pre-sequel, and loved them all but can not recommend this to anyone in its current state. With sufficient patches and DLC it may be playable if it is ever on sale with a good PC, but don't bother with PS4 version. This game is one I have beatenPS4 version, apart from numerous glitches and low frame rate had the entire system crash twice. I have put over 2,000 hours into borderlands 1/2/ pre-sequel, and loved them all but can not recommend this to anyone in its current state.     The gameplay has not evolved, the game is buggy and the humour is mean spirited. It's a continuation on the decline Borderlands 2 started and not a return to the high of Borderlands 1.

    Those 9 and 10 reviews are full of Borderlands fanboys, that's a shame, the half of these reviews give those ratings because are for fighting the others, that's really pathetic.

    And now, for the game. Is buggy as hell, the jokes are stupid before yes, but these are now cringeworthy. And the politics give his step at this beloved franchise. Don't buy the game.

    I really like playing with my boy FL4K. HE has great design and also HIS skills are fun. Sadly the game is pure cringefest in terms of jokes and lategame.

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Когда-то давно в каком-то интервью я прочитал, что третья Бордерлендс будет похожа на первую часть. И знаете, так ведь и получилось: тройка вобрала в себя всё самое худшее, что было в первой:
    - скучные локации вернулись, и теперь они огромные и сопровождаются гигантскими картами, что искусственно растягивает время прохождения. В игре нет МАЛЕНЬКОЙ локации, кроме корабля, и то по нему необходимо ПОСТОЯННО бегать взад-вперёд, а по ощущениям он не такой уж и небольшой, так ещё и тёмный. Гениальный левел-дизайн так же предписывает выставлять яркость так, чтобы темно становилось ТЁМНЫМ. Из-за этого некоторые локации приходится проходить вслепую;
    - ещё более неинтересные поди-убей или подай-принеси квесты;
    - постольку-поскольку сюжет, в котором
    а) слиты абсолютно все, как протагонисты (Таннис растеряла долю своего задорного безумия, доктора Зеда нет вообще), так и антагонисты (Катагава совершенно ненужный персонаж, Аурелия в Бл3 и Пресиквеле — две разные женщины, близнецы Калипсо вообще персонажи неубедительные, они МэриСьюхи);
    б) некоторые персонажи и линии просто не должны находиться, например, Клэй и сопротивленцы + к этому что-то вообще должно из сайдквестов перейти в разряд основы (квест, где нужно послушать личные эхо-записи Катагавы, нпрм);
    в) лора и в помине нет;
    - умудрились даже стрельбу похерить! Перед выстрелом задержка, враги иногда не реагируют на попадания даже в мили!

    И так продолжать можно долго, ведь куда не ткни, всё плохо — сценарий ужасен, диалоги написаны ОТВРАТИТЕЛЬНО, лора и шуток нет, персонажи картонные абсолютно все. Геймплей и тот похерен уродским левел-дизайном, работой сражений, жирнотой врагов, инпут-лагом и ужасной оптимизацией даже на хороших и топ-системах.

    Ну что это такое? За что этой игре ставить 10? 9, 8, 7? Тут даже 0 ставить как-то неудобно — подобное поделиё оценивается отрицательными значениями.    … Expand

    AMD fx 8350 8 core 16gb ddr3 ram and AMD radeon R9 390x 8gb and windows 10 OS. 3 hours in and still trying to find a work around or fix to get past game crashing at opening cut scene. I have found the Epic support forums and player feed back very helpful in trying to fix the broken launch game issues.

    Borderlands 3 being epic exclusive was the worst decision they ever made, everything about this PC version sucks including optimization, texture loading issues, freezing, crashing, random stupid glitches that can be pretty game breaking and more, from what i can tell the console versions seem to be fine. if you want any advice from me, if you're truly desperate for this game, GET IT ONBorderlands 3 being epic exclusive was the worst decision they ever made, everything about this PC version sucks including optimization, texture loading issues, freezing, crashing, random stupid glitches that can be pretty game breaking and more, from what i can tell the console versions seem to be fine. if you want any advice from me, if you're truly desperate for this game, GET IT ON CONSOLE AND DO NOT EVER GO TO EPIC FOR IT, or alternatively wait for steam since they have forums and the community can help out there at least.

    Holy hell is this bad. Its like they didn't have a story idea since borderlands 2. The networking is somehow worse than the pre-sequel. I expected better game play or better story and i got the same game play as pre-sequel and worse story than borderlands 1.

    The score means, in essence, a degree of recommendation for the product by the reviewer. So, when the game is released on platforms that said reviewer and their community is using, perhaps the score will reflect the actual value of the product (if, by then, its existence is still remembered). Until then, it cannot be reviewed positively.

    This game runs like trash. Random stutter, huge dips in framerate and the occasional crashing. Great job 2k oh and the epic games store launcher sucks. Next time put your game on a good platform. Most of this stuff could be fixed with a optimization patch. But besides the issues at launch it's a really fun game and the guns, humor, story, movement and badassness is like all there otherThis game runs like trash.     I have an incredibly powerful computer but the optimization is so bad that if I try to use snipers the game starts stuttering like crazy. Barely playable on the lowest settings

    I rented the game from Redbox (thank God) no matter how I mess with the visual settings all I get is a black screen after the intro video. I don't know WTF the problem could cause this, but I am extremely glad I did not purchase this game. Randy Pithford is a seriation and his words are not to be believed.

Graphics aren't anything to write home about so I'm sure the game shouldn't be running so poorly on a 2080ti. I hope they fix it soon, who knows.     Pure garbage, one of the mostly poorly optimized games I've ever played. Constant fps drops and microstuttering especially when aiming down scopes. What a disappointment, wish I hadn't spent hours messing around with the graphics settings so I could get a refund. Back to classic wow I go.

I’m going on a 2 week biz trip and if this isn’t fixed by then, I don’t even know how or if I can play the game. Please patch this with both vertical and horizontal co-op.     First background: I beat BL1 when it first came out and got some of the dlc. Then I have played through all of the BL2 main game and most DLC(currently OP9), so I love Borderlands. The thing is so does my wife, it’s the first and only game she’s played with me, so BL3 was going to be a family event.

    If you loved BL and BL2 and still play them, then you’ll love BL3. It’s truly more of    First background: I beat BL1 when it first came out and got some of the dlc. The thing is so does my wife, it’s the first and only game she’s played with me, so BL3 was going to be a family event.

    If you loved BL and BL2 and still play them, then you’ll love BL3. It’s truly more of the same, with life improvements that make it easier to focus on gameplay. And if your playing online, I’m sure it’s fine, but... local co-op is broken. On a PS4 Pro it chugs if to much stuff is going on, or heaven forbid you open a menu. Add to that you only can use Vertical split screen and the HUD and any font not subtitles are stuck at eye hurting size. On a 55 inch Samsung 4K 8000 series I have to get 3 inches from the screen to read. I literally missed how to slide as it was in a small box I didn’t notice. For now it’s fun for a bit, but I can’t keep playing in co-op, and when that’s why you buy a game, it sucks.    … Expand

So you are forced to hear the awful, unfunny writing and a few crude voice actors. Bugged side quests that just don't trigger the correct flag so they just never complete.     Poor performance. Not sure how all this got pass QA but delivered with a game breaking bug that forwards you through the story line if you use the matchmaking feature. Don't match make unless you want to skip content. Gameplay and story was fun but unplayable due to QC.

    Glitchy, broken and poorly optimized.
    Part of the new console wars brought to PC by epic game store and their unwanted exclusivity trash.
    Iconic characters have new voice actors, the sounds effects makes them sound similar, but it is impossible to not be comparing them to the old ones all the time... Very immersion breaking.
    Used to be a fan of the series, extremely disappointed now.

Which is very odd and dissapointing when compared to borderlands 2, which I have played through mkre than a dozen times. Where borderlands 2 didn't care ablut being offensive, borderlandsGameplay and sounds are all great. Why the low score?     Port of this game are actually horrible. I recived stutters and low fps on my i7 5960 with RTX 2080.
    The actual story line are decent, and jokes are mostly flat and less spicy as it was before. Talking honestly, even Presequel are better than this.

    Why zero? at first the game ive played with two friends was nice till we get to the first vault. Here one of my buddy´s game throw him out every time we entert the vault and as long as we were in there he cant rejoin. Trying to change almost everything and none works so we cant play further till they fixed the bug .

    Zooming stuttering makes it unplayable. Contacted Epic Games for a refund after 4 hours of gameplay (most of it trying to fix issues) and 2 days after purchase. Was denied. Spent $150 australian. Avoid.

    **** story only really saved by gun play, all the writing in this title is hilariously bad. The gun play is the alright but still lacks a bit as some guns sound like pea shooters still. Also bugs galore almost as many as fallout 76.

    The game is redundant. Take Borderlands 2. Add a few graphics updates. Add bugs. Mix in a bit of drama ($10 off... no just kidding) (Play this on Steam! No, just kidding). Finish that off with a retread humor, and you have Borderlands 3!

    This is a $29.99 expansion at best.

    Borderlands 3's best feature is its combat. It feels great to attack enemies in this game, just as it probabaly felt great for Randy Pitchford to assault a Gearbox employee in the hotel lobby of a gaming convention.

The optimization of the game is a mess, the dialogue is a mess, the fps on a 2080+6700k is barely 60 in fights at medium. I think Borderlands 2 was pretty good, although a lot of bad humour.     This game is fun....when it works. Crashes, bugs so often that I cant play the game now. For real, I start the game and within 3-5 sec my game crashes. Started a new playthrough and happen again. Can't hate the game but Epic and/or Gearbox has ALOT to work on. Releasing the game on Epic was a mistake, big mistake.

    This game is much worse than BL2 or pre-sequel. The villains are unconvincing, the plot is disappointing, the humor (ass-related jokes) does not appeal to mature audience, and you cannot skip the boring cut-scenes.

    I liked how gearbox and 2k made 6 month beta testing for this game to be sure that the bugs/other issues are fixed for the steam release. Maybe I'll buy it on steam (if I can run it whit my just bought 1400 euro pc) and I sure do hope 2k doesn't send some men in black suits to my house to investigate me and force me to delete this review along with everything else i have in the interwebz.

    some returning characters barley appeared in the game itself that you wanted more from which just pisses me off, the campaign itself has the same amount of missions as the bl2 campaign, its about the same size but longer because there is a lot of travel or waiting for npcs to do something
    its clear there was a major rewrite after the end of tales and pre sequal. the villains and the story dont fit at all with the way bl2 ended and the new bl2 dlc was so that they can have a 7 years too late change of heart
    if u play borderlands for the story dont buy this game
    the over 1 billion guns is also a lie, there are like 20 parts for each gun that can rotate so its 1 billion gun combinations. on the start of the game i looted a sniper from a chest and in that same minute i got the same gun as a mission reward. more dups throughout the game
    tbh the best part about this game is the ice t cameo
    and they spoiled most of him in the demos they sent out
    still havent played the endgame, did proving grounds once and it was meh
    oh yeah jokes, again thats why ice t was the best part about the game, he had the best jokes. all those jokes traveled between boomer to ok, rarely will make you laugh. the only good parts were spoiled in demos. i honestly find it hard to believe this took them 5 years to make because the big change in direction couldnt have happened right after tales ended
    the wrost joke is after u kill someone of something big things go south fast and it says to be continued in bl4 and i didnt believe it but it drew on for half a minute or even a minute and with the greed of 2k and randy dickfork i started believing it near the end and was about to punch the first computer related thing i could find
    it honestly doesnt feel like a borderlands game as much as 1 2 pre and tales and tales wasnt a borderlands game
    story is week because u dont care about anything, they hold hostage everything u hoped for through the entire story and almost all of it wont be shown

    The game is just a performance mess on day one. I got 8700k and RTX 2080, and i drop below 60 fos no matter the graphic settings due to the game apparently only runs on 2 cpu cores where i can't get the game to use more than max 40% cpu or 30-35% average with gpu usage at 50-60%, 40% when the fps tanks during combat at 55 fps.

    So no, this game at launch is just a broken mess.

    Gearbox has a problem: the fantastic Borderlands 2 is too good to be beaten. But in the case of Borderlands 3, it is still more than a worthy successor. The filmmakers brought many pop-cultural references, maybe pushing too hard on how they want to be “modern”, but otherwise it's a great game again. [Issue#298]

    Borderlands 3 offers a generous experience, with colourful characters, neat gameplay and a charming universe. Its formula, very close to that of the previous episodes does not revolutionize the show but its small new features bring a little freshness and the scenario makes us want to go to the end of the adventure. Its dynamism and nervousness make it a choice piece for adrenaline-ready FPS lovers and license fans.

    The fun, humorous storyline, some great dialogue and theatrical accents of the diverse characters, beautifully varied locations and the same great gunplay that Borderlands is renowned for, means that Borderlands 3 becomes another must have title in the series.
