    A glitchy mess! 2019 and still so many glitches that probably will never be fixed. I have been trying to play the game in 4k with HDR but that seems too much to ask from the game, the screen blinks black every 10 seconds, simply unplayble. If you turn HDR off then you have to deal with the game auto trying to turn hdr back on every time you start the game, glitching your system to noA glitchy mess! 2019 and still so many glitches that probably will never be fixed.     Even for free with my Origins Access account this game made me sick, literately, and figuratively. I thought this game was going to take it back to Battlefield 1942 with single shot rifles were every shot counted. Instead this game sold out and opted to use guns that are technically historically from the era but completely inaccurate.     not able to play a map from the beginning to the end.

    not able to choose a new match, you just get thrown into an ongoing one. Could be at the end, sometimes at the middle, somtimes at the beginning. operations choosing a 64 vs 64 still in a 10 vs 10 game second map always crashes for me, because of server disconnections. horrible optimisation, I've to disable a core to play    not able to play a map from the beginning to the end.

    Hi DICE/EA, remember the "wrong email or password" error that tons of Battlefield3 players reported to you since 2015 (even new reports this year) and you guys still didn't do anything about it?! Your support is unfriendly and unhelpful. Up to date Battlefield3 players cannot log into Battlefield3 because of the Origin/Battlelog bug, that    Don't buy Battlefield1! EA/DICE is unreliable!

    Hi DICE/EA, remember the "wrong email or password" error that tons of Battlefield3 players reported to you since 2015 (even new reports this year) and you guys still didn't do anything about it?! Your support is unfriendly and unhelpful. Up to date Battlefield3 players cannot log into Battlefield3 because of the Origin/Battlelog bug, that you guys KNOW of. You know that there are so many people dealing with such a significant problem, yet you resist to help or do anything about it, eventhough this problem did start mid 2015.

    Well, if this is how you deal with your customers, I can't recommend this or any other upcoming Battlefield to anyone.
    Guys, they will drop support after 1 or 2 years even if the game has a significant bug that prevents people from starting it. EA doesn't care about you, nor your problems. Just google "Battlefield3 wrong email or password". You will find all you need to know about how EA/DICE treats their customers.
    All they care about is money.

    Single player is too short, reminds dlc,
    camouflage for weapons erected in the absolute,
    the game does not create the atmosphere of the First World War

    The last bettlefield was Battlefield 4. Worst Battlefield ever made by Dice. Game has a great campaign, but multiplayer is complete garbage. Awefull maps, disbalanced and not effective weapons, disbalanced vehicles. The game shoud be called Starwars Battlefield 1, cuz it's same crapy **** as Battlefront. This game is broken and really disapointing. I will not buy single Dice game ever.

This is another Pavlovian game where you are presented with very narrow game sequences, where the gamer is "shoe horned" into doing specific things in a very specific way or no cigar. There's little ability here to really play the game and influence events in a meaningful and satisfying way. Indeed it feels more like a mildly interactive film where the gamer is more spectator, than player.

    Worse still are the horrible weapon physics, where you can shoot something many many times and it simply does not fall down or blow up. This is married up to impossible scenario's, where you are bound to loose again and again. Others expect you to loose and just feel like a waste of time. Of course we are getting a moral history lesson about the futility of war but hey its supposed to be a game too right? Chance to have some fun? No such luck.

    Just as annoying is you can not play as the other side. The Germans, Turks, etc are simply targets. If this game wanted to show war in its entirety then why not let the player, play both sides?

    This game is pretty but then so are most modern games. This in itself is in no way enough to justify what is a clumsy effort, that simply lacks the fun and interactive factor gamers want and I believe have a right to expect.

    Too many snipers (30-90% at all times) and no ranking system. Origin doesn't even launch any more so have to start the game from chrome. If they put it on steam and limit snipers to 5% maximum Ill raise my review by 6 points.

And what a missed opportunity, the single player was a perfect opportunity for some authentic ww1 trench combat, yet you don't get it in a single mission, not even the intro one. The entire campaign feels like a 4 hour tutorial.

    Another glaring issue is the mouse input. It feels like there's always a tiny delay to moving your mouse. It's not enough to stop you from aiming, just from aiming well. To make matters worse it feels like there's a tiny bit of acceleration no matter what.

    I found the best way to play the game was to grab a shotgun, zig zag my mouse to dodge bullets with the absurdly high sprint speed, and kill as many people as I could before dying, re spawning and doing it again.

    Doing anything but running around like a chicken with your head cut off is foolish, as movement speeds are high and so is your accuracy whilst moving, even with an lmg. Even when I'm sniping I never dare crouch or prone, as you seem to die the moment you stand still and try to play the game tactically.

    Behemoths are a joke, especially in operations. Dice decided that instead of using good map design for balanced attack and defense gameplay like in bc2, they could just give the losing team a **** blimp. The blimp is basically a low flying ac130. If their are no tanks planes or aa guns (very likely as the defending side) you pretty much just have to let if kill you, or sacrifice the objective.

    Speaking of maps, some of them are pretty bad. All of the desert maps are awful, especially suez, though fao fortress can be fun if you just feel like sniping with one hand and jerking off with the other. Let me reiterate though, Suez is perhaps one of the worst maps in ANY battlefield game. A hill placed on only one side of B means the Ottomans will pretty much always win. Nevertheless, 3 flags in a straight line should never be acceptable for 64 player conquest no matter what.

    I'm giving this game a 0 even though it deserves a 3, but other reviewers are being far to generous since they immediately give a 10 to any pretty explosions.    … Expand

    The multiplayer is lacking in content, too few weapons missing key weapons used in ww1 and instead substituting guns that were never used. The multiplayer is completely unbalanced, with planes being very overpowered along with tanks, the light machine guns being weak and the sniper (still) being the best class, with only them getting bolt action rifles (unlike in ww1). The maps are pretty poor, with many either turning into mortar spam or sniper spam, some are good, but the broken balance and OP elite classes really ruin those few good maps. No hardcore (aka the good game mode) on launch. The melee system is beyond broken, with your guy's feet becoming glued to the floor to enter a receiving of a bayoneting (several of which I have seen go through walls).

    If you have to buy it buy it on sale. I really wish I could get my money back.    … Expand

    It has been 13 days since the launch and I am yet unable to play the game without having it crash every 20 minutes with a DirectX error. Both EA/DICE and Nvidia know about this issue but have been unable to find and fix the cause of the problem. Paying AAA price for a broken at launch game is becoming a really annoying standard with those large game companies.

For the amount of money I paid for this game.... and after the absolute crap fiasco Star Wars Battle Front was (and the fact that Battlefield 1 uses this garbage game interface) makes the game unplayable. I have absolutely no patience of a company that will release a game that will remain stable for 85% of a 1000 ticket game to crash in the last 2 minutes of the game... then not allow me to receive any credit for the game play, any perks or anything else is frankly BULLS***. That is the last time I pay over 100 dollars for some piece of crap collaboration between Dice and Origin. I am mad as hell and will not be paying good money for any of this Dice Origin garbage in the future. Fix your GD game guys, or at least let me get credit for the freaking game play I actually get to do.     Battlefield 1 is reskin of battlefront with no balance of wapons. They needed month to present hardcore serwers... it's sucks only 1 thing they did is to remove HUD, 2x damage and that's it. No sniper limit and hardcore become static game... EA did poor job with this game. There is no chace that you will find serwer with diffrent settings... EA own's it all.!     I've logged 10k + hours on all Battlefields; my favourite ones being BF2, BFBC2 and BF3.

    I do not like BF1 as the maps are extremely confusing and leave little to no room for strategy and ground control.

    Also a game about WW1 without featuring France on release? No thanks.

    Negatives: - bad gameplay - too much bugs in a 50€ game(100€ with premium pass...) - rly poor weapon configurations - bad servers - ?skins? - etc etc.....

    In my Eyes is this not a Bf like Bf Hardline, they changed the game to hard, that has nothing to do with bf,
    only "€" want they see.

    This franchise are down grade every new BF since BF4 this BF1 are content less fewer guns,mods,gadgets ETC not recommend to buy in full price should wait until below 20 USD and after for quite some time i can say this game is very unbalance aircraft is too hard to kill and pistol damage is op i use 20 lmg to put 1 down while pistol is about 3~5

    Eh oui, regardez la jaquette du DLC russe "In the name of the Tsar" ou la jaquette du "Battlefield 1 Revolution" (la compilation de l'étron), regardez attentivement le visage du personnage, ressentez ce malaise pesant et profond, ce visage ni masculin ni féminin mais 100% transsexuel. En Russie, ils doivent être contents, tiens, d'être traités de la sorte...

    Mais ce n'est pas tout, revenons à l'autre jaquette, celle du jeu principal, celle avec un Noir dessus, oui un Noir ! quoi de mieux qu'un Noir pour réprésenter en une seule image la quintessence d'un jeu sur la Première Guerre Mondiale ?!... et avec une cape, c'est tout juste s'il ne va se pas se transformer en Super(black)man sauveur du Monde Libre !

    10 millions de morts et combien de Noirs morts au combat ?... ah non, pas d'amalgame et pas de statistiques. #Vivre_Ensemble.

    Sinon à part ça, quoi de neuf dans ce jeu pourri arcade à chier sinon que ça crépite de partout et qu'on s'attend à tout moment à voir débarquer Dark Vador (merde, encore un "Noir" !) en personne ?     Looks great... and thats it. Gun play is terrible, spawning is a joke, and its the worst solo player game in history. I wouldn't really call this a shooter. Playing this game is like riding a bicycle from the 20's: For a minute it's fun but then you realize how much better they've gotten since then.

    I played BF1942 at a semi-pro level and followed the BF series ever since. This is the biggest loser game of them all. Extreme disappointment in multiplayer. Horrible physical model. Purchased content kills the game. Never again.

    Instant death from everything, grenade spam instant death, latest patch makes aircraft immortal (btw aircraft kill you instantly), nonstop assault run & gun shotguns / automatico instant death, behemoth instant death, building falls on you instant death, bayonet instant death.

    "Matching you with players of equal skill" and you wind up in a game against a full squad of 100s. Seems    Instant death from everything, grenade spam instant death, latest patch makes aircraft immortal (btw aircraft kill you instantly), nonstop assault run & gun shotguns / automatico instant death, behemoth instant death, building falls on you instant death, bayonet instant death.

    "Matching you with players of equal skill" and you wind up in a game against a full squad of 100s. Seems legit.

    Oh, and hackers are rampant despite the adorable little "Fairfight ban" that pops up occasionally - I guess they catch a few of them but it doesn't feel like it. The dude going 110 / 10 seems to show up every other game.

It's not really appropriate to compare it to call of duty unless you are just talking about how trash it is. Maybe it's ok on console, but it's horrible on PC. You need to spend WAYYYY too much money to be able to play that ONE supposedly "free" map, "Giant's Shadow", and there still has not been a statement by EA why this map still can only be played by Premium members (although BASIC game users should've been able to play that map since december!).     Looks good and is pretty fun at first but then you realize its same **** every match. Really casual and gets boring fast because the unlock system sucks balls i played to 50 lvl i had everything unlocked what else was there to do? Gameplay is not fun just brainless shooting with no teamwork.

    Pros
    -Very immersive -Good graphics -Runs smooth -Sound design is great -Campaign is pretty enjoyable Cons -Not many options in terms of guns/equipment in game -What little choices there are, only a few viable for a good score -Not a substantial amount of maps (but it's not too bad) -An insane game mechanic called "Behemoths" these are basically    Well where should I start...

    -An insane game mechanic called "Behemoths" these are basically crutches the game will give to the losing team, often stealing a victory away from a deserving team
    -A decent amount of historical mistakes in the campaign and campaigns

    Conclusion
    While this game can be very fun and immersive at times, you will get burnt out fairly quickly (especially if you're a long time Battlefield fan). There are times where you will just be pissed due to how the game will absolutely screw you for performing well, so if your team is well coordinated and do well, your opponents will be granted with a boon in the form of a map stomping death machine. The effect this can have on a map is immense, as usually there are tools that are on a map that help you deal with said threat. Some maps don't give you anything and you just get stomped because you simply did better than you opponent. Thus I can't give this game a good review, sadly, I must give it poor marks.

    The worst problem are the weapons, too many automatic weapons to play with a Rifle and at the same time those machineguns are just aimless. Feels like spray and pray is the only way to play.

    Cant say enough negative things about this game, will start with the unashamed cash grab that is the micro-transaction system, to the unbalanced multiplayer, to the incredible number of cheaters in the multiplayer. From beginning to end this game is a disaster and EA ought to be ashamed to push this as a AAA game.

    The Quick match is totally broken, everytime i try to join a server by quick match it puts me on a empty server, the servers are horrible, i join a match, 5 minutes later a connection error, the server list do not shows all the servers. Do not buy this game.

    BFBC2 - отлично шаг далеко вперед инновационный геймплей, BF3 - хорошо, разрушаемости меньше, но шедевральные карты и много оружия, BF1 - хорошо, атмосфера, разрушаемости больше, хорошие карты. Всё остальное мусор.

    I like the original idea of making a WW1 game, but the execution is very poor. The game hardly has anything to do with WW1. Its still a fun game, but inferior to BF3 and BF4. Go play those games instead if you want to have fun for a longer period, the servers are still full in those games

    A beautiful looking game. Amazing from the artistic point of view. Gameplay 7/10 as for Battlefield. However, recently multiplayer completely destroyed by cheaters. Bravo DICE. You're not getting my money for BF 2042.

    What's even worse, is the multiplayer. This pathetic excuse of a game allows for more cheating than CS. Your skills just don't count in this game, it favors cheaters and hackers.     The Game has a nice Soundtrack a good Multiplayer and it gives you the feeling to be in this war and it looks good better than Bf 2042
