    The campaign is good but the multiplayer is a big heap of trash, it sucks. I'm always put inside empty lobbies and when actually put in a full lobby, it's infected with sweats and hackers. I legit saw people flying with aim-bot, it's not fun at all. DON'T BUY!

    I didn't like this piece at all. When people make arguments "This feeling of a weapon is real" or "The elaboration of technique and equipment is wonderful", but for me these are just empty words. I'm not a fan when your sight jumps from side to side, as well as a weapon that blocks the entire view. For some it will be realistic, but when on the other end of the map a guy with a machine gunI didn't like this piece at all. For some it will be realistic, but when on the other end of the map a guy with a machine gun on a bipod shoots at you without recoil, in my opinion, this is not realism. I want to play the game, not to hone the recoil of the cannon and not hide from the machine guns in the impenetrable bushes, I want to have fun playing the game. For me personally, realism is not so important to me as emotions from gameplay, and such factors as 'Realistic weapons' or 'Game conventions' are not at all interesting to me. Also in this game, in order to open a weapon, you must grind. This is certainly not a minus, but not a plus either. So my conclusion is: if you want to relax, this game is not suitable for you.

    Single player campaign is pretty good. Interesting plot, entertaining missions and... these are all positive sides. Multiplayer which is supposed to be the main feature of the game is absolutely horrible. I've spent more than 20 hours in this game and each time I was dead much longer than alive. You always don't know where the fire comes from and get immediately killed, then respawn andSingle player campaign is pretty good. Plus, being a soldier of infantry is much less entertaining than drive military equipment because you always get killed in open spaces by all of them. Shooting mechanic is also absolutely horrible, it's impossible to hit the enemy while he's moving because of bullet taking time to fly. This game also doesn't have any bots which I think can make the game more entertaining for players who don't want to become cybersportsmen.

    So, this game is complete waste of money and I deeply regret buying it. And I guess I'll never purchase any other part of the series again because the last good part for me was BF2.    … Expand

    It is fun game and all, but completely ruined by open maps and no sniper limit... It is only sniper/dmr/mg camp... Also infested by cheaters, they don't get banned. EA is so **** Meanwhile they are selling copies on NBA each year for 60$, just to get new player names. Oh they forgot to change 2019 to 2020 ops...     Decent and enjoyable shooter, even now. Good single player stories. At least half of maps are pretty balanced and playable, and beautiful of course. Tanks and planes aren't OP. No SJW contents and way better than BF V and even BF4. Speed of the game is acceptable for most players. But cheaters, unbalanced teams and remaining maps, which is not playable make this game average and awful sometimes.

    Incredible experience of world war. The gameplay is cinematic and brings immersion to a whole new level. Campaign is one of the best in the series because It mostly focuses on soldiers and people of the war rather than sides that they were fighting for. It makes you invested in characters even though you spend so little time with them. The multiplayer itself plays great. Weapons feelsIncredible experience of world war. Unlock system for the most part feels rewarding and gives satisfaction with each unlocked weapon because of how special each of them is. While some challenges feel tedious and might take some more effort to unlock they are worth the time. Maps perfectly depict war landscapes and use different and unusual settings. This an absolute peak for the series and even now in 2021 you’ll find tons of servers to play on. Personally I think BF1 brings immersion and uniqueness in depiction of war in games (or even war overall to a whole new level. Before I played it I never thought I’d get as invested in the game world while playing with other people as I did in this game. I thought it was a campaign role to deliver such an experience. I have never imagined that any multiplayer game could possibly bring me into it’s world so much. Battlefield 1 is not only a game. It’s art. And while it can’t be called a masterpiece because it’s flawed with a couple of balance issues but it most definitely is another step in showing the reality of war and immersion in video games.… Expand

    Masterpiece. Fantastic graphics and an engaging campaign to get you started. It's exactly what you would expect from a AAA title. Perhaps the campaign is a little too short but that is just a minor flaw.

    This game is great game-play wise but the problem comes with the thing that it calls itself a WW1 game, which no matter how it looks it is not a ww1 game, it is a weird fiction from EA and don’t even get me started on the SJW propaganda with for ex. black people in the German army on the western front, I’ve always liked the game-play but the inaccuracy just ruins it for me.

    One of the last good battlefield games. Multiplayer is fun but it doesn't have the same "Battlefield moments" like previous installments, it is because of the WW1 setting.
    Campaign is good but too short. It would have been much better if they included Russian and French campaign in the base game instead of releasing in the DLC. These 2 countries contributed the most in WW1 and suffered    One of the last good battlefield games. Multiplayer is fun but it doesn't have the same "Battlefield moments" like previous installments, it is because of the WW1 setting.

My biggest problem is the greedy microtransactions, it was pretty scummy that EA brought out microtransactions weeks after launch.     This game blew me away because Battlefield 1 being this so cinematic and atmospheric? Ah, it's amazing. The "black and white" WW1 feeling is spot-on, it's very very atmospheric, the soundtrack is godly, the campaign is just a short treat (would prefer it to be longer), graphics are amazing, and the large-scale fighting is very present. Weapon variety in this game is great. you have different types of weapons in their own category with reasons to pick one or the other. Gunplay and vehicle play in this game feels decent. The con in this game could be that it's not historically accurate in some places, but in my opinion this game was not made for history, so it's passable.     Puntos positivos:
    -Gran calidad sonora -Doblaje al español hispanoamericano en PC (Call of Duty siempre elimina ese doblaje en el port de PC en Steam) -En la campaña, no hay Eventos de Tiempo Rápido (QTE), algo que se valora mucho excluir. -Multijugador    Un poco decepcionado. Desaprovecha mucho la temática de la Guerra Mundial con esa pésima decisión de historias distintas por fascículos.
    Puntos positivos:

    Puntos negativos:
    - Temática desperdiciada: Se tomó la decisión de poner 5 mini historias de 1 hora c/u que desaprovechan la temática de la Guerra Mundial, ya que cada una dura muy poco y no termina de tener inmersión. La campaña es cortísima y mediocre. Pésima decisión. -Cinemáticas a 30fps. -Imprecisión histórica y sobredimensionamiento de mujeres y negros, los hacen ver como si fueran casi igual en cantidad que los soldados más representativos. Pasa algo similar en Battlefield 5. Aquí la portada es un negro, en el 5 una mujer... Cuando las portadas deberían de ser del tipo de soldado más representativo (un blanco, y un nazi o ruso, respectivamente). Este es un error muy típico de la actualidad para imponer su agenda de "diversidad e igualdad", una falacia enorme. En el multijugador no te sorprendas si ves más afros o mujeres más que cualquier otro tipo de soldado.
    -Gráficas e interfaz que me hacen pensar que es más un Battlefront que un Battlefield. No me convenció a pesar de ser un gran salto gráfico.
    -Multijugador con poca variación de armas y mapas estándar muy sencillos. Retroceso respecto a Battlefield 4.

    En resumen: Battlefield 1 posee grandes saltos en lo sonoro y visual, y llegaba muy prometedor con la temática de Guerra Mundial pero que se queda en multijugador como, especialemente, el modo campaña donde desperdicia de manera categórica la temática de Guerra Mundial. Una temática con mucho potencial tirada a la basura, al igual que pasaría con Battlefield V. Gran parte de esa culpa es la introducción de personajes forzados, de querer imponer una agenda, y, sobre todo, de la pésima decisión de poner mini historias que no te terminan de llegar nunca, que son cortas y no tienen la inmersión necesaria como para exprimir la historia de la Guerra Mundial. He prejuzgado mucho al Call of Duty WWII, pero creo que aprovecha mucho mejor la temática de la Guerra Mundial que la combinación de Battlefield 1 y 5. Cualquier campaña de los últimos Call of Duty creo que es mejor que el modo historia de este juego.

    - The weapons feel awesome and satisfying

    Cons:
    - Not realistic, but no big deal
    - Sometimes you meet with hackers but not often
    - Campaign should've been much longer, but it's alright since the multiplayer is the main focus of the game.

    Except for the fact that most of the weapons are automatic or semi-automatic, Tyrone wuz a german soldier n' **** and women are efficient combattants. This alone deserves a low score imo, but there are other issues as well.
    The campaign is not bad I guess, there's just too much of that good ol' AAA stealth to make me come back (and also **** the cutscenes). The multiplayer is    "WW1 game"

    Game story is enough for multiplayer game. You musnt play this game for a story. You must play for multiplayer. Multiplayer is very good and feels you a soldier in WW1.

    I've spent many hundreds of hours playing this game despite the many famous problems. If you are all about the single player campaign, then you won't be disappointed. War stories are executed well and depict the Great War brilliantly.

    The multiplayer is the main attraction and they did it so badly. Maps are gorgeous but the structure design behind them is horrendous. If one team captures point A they will also lose point B resulting in nothing but people joining the defending team or simply leaving the game. Vehicles in this game are exploited beyond belief, people abuse the broken system and developers are doing absolutely nothing about it. To be specific we are talking about tanks that stay behind the front line spaming mortar fires and huge bombers in the sky dropping bombardment across the whole map making escapes nearly impossible. With the graphics this game could have been a phenomenal game about trench warfare and tactics, instead it turned into a grave pit for people running around the map like headless chickens and ignoring objectives.    … Expand

    The most surprising choice of returning to WW1 from DICE and they made it works like a charm! One of the best Battlefield and first-person shooter game out there with action-packed, brutal, visually-stunning and amazing multiplayer gameplay.

    The map design is fantastic, the colors are vibrant, the weathering realistic and this is where BF1 really excels. The sound effects are    One of the few games that manage to offer a fully immersing experience. As you spawn on the map, you really do feel like one of those unfortunate soldiers from the Great War, trying to hold or push the line while desperately trying to stay alive.

    The map design is fantastic, the colors are vibrant, the weathering realistic and this is where BF1 really excels. The sound effects are incredibly detailed and it's tremendously fun to down enemies with bayonet charges.

    Operations and Frontline are really the stellar modes of this battlefield, capturing the essence of the struggle between large armies.

    The War Pigeons, Supply Drop and Air Assault are rather unexciting though and feel more like an afterthought to fill in the mode count.

    Overall, BF1 sadly feels like a peak Dice has reached before descending with less impressive titles such as the ugly Battlefield V, where every color feels barren and almost a shade of an always present grey.    … Expand

    I really liked the campaign and the graphics but recently i cant play the game because of 1 cheater in a game and, the only thing we can do is report the account, and that is not good enough. The sever is more or less dead until the cheater gets banned or leaves, so we cant play the game online other than maybe unofficial servers that have a active admin.     Awful, just awful. Boring most of the time, cool graphics but the controls are pure garbage. They give you 100 weapons but will only let you carry 2, most of the weapons are useless. The fact that this crap game decides to give entire chapters based on vehicles, is just awful. The planes chapter was by far the worst, boring all the way, shooting planes that will keep flying despite beingAwful, just awful. Boring most of the time, cool graphics but the controls are pure garbage. They give you 100 weapons but will only let you carry 2, most of the weapons are useless. The fact that this crap game decides to give entire chapters based on vehicles, is just awful. The planes chapter was by far the worst, boring all the way, shooting planes that will keep flying despite being in flames, and just overall too easy and boring, no challenge to be had. I hate those cutscenes, cheesy and boring characters with no charisma whatsoever, and that brit accent is driving me nuts. The controls are terrible, and poorly optimized for pc, and it's sad to know that because BF 1942 was the first game of the series and started on PC. This game is an insult to the classics, having no music in the menu, which is already awful and too complex. The UI is atrocious, very small words and icons, I can barely see them. Also the only way to see the objectives is by pausing the game... lol. Shame on you DICE for bringing this crap and insulting the old BF games legacy, sadly there are hardly any other WWI games, so we gotta play this **** if we wanna play something WWI related. The graphics are great and the sound effects are decent. But the controls ruin the experience. Also the cutscenes are way too frequent and annoying, I tought I was playing a game not watching a boring movie. I will go a head and give this crap an extra point just for trying to be a decent WWI game.
    The game is so unrealistic and anachronic, most of the weapons shown in the game didn't even existed in 1917 or 1918. Planes were not capable of such maneuvers, and the part where the soldier takes photos with a 100+ yrs old camera, and the pictures are perfect, not even moved xD. That was impossible to do with a camera that had no eye stabilizer. Same applies to tanks and other guns, there was only 1 portable machine gun, and the game has like 10 lol. Not only unrealistic and anachronic but also pretty poor representation of WWI, the characters act like they are in a circus or out in a nightclub, really pathetic, I hate their egos so much. The scenes looks like they are from a movie instead of trying to represent the WWI as best as possible (laughable). I was liking this game until the planes chapter... omg... it's so bad it's laughable, the flying mechanics are a disaster, makes the game nearly unplayable, add that the cheesy voice acting with characters that act like war is a joke, and you have a combo for poor quality, way to handicap players Dice, with **** controls. First of all, I don't like planes, so why the **** they force me to play an entire chapter flying a crap plane with awful aiming controls while the stupid character won't shut up, yeah that stupid that thinks he is a winner for being in a fake war... pathetic, I hope people wasn't like that back in the day, **** ww1 who cares about that war anyways.

It's basically straight at your opponents up the gut. Only in stupid zombie games and Call of Duty do you see maps more restrictive as to where yo can move. And the gun play is ridiculous. You can only pick up certain enemy weapons. You run out of ammunition easily because even on Easy setting you some times must shoot an enemy 5 times to bring them down. The two sniper rifles I've seen so far are garbage. With one of the sniper rifles II shot an enemy in the chest with with open sights from about 20 feet away. And he didn't go down. Whether or not you get kills seems to be completely haphazard. I'll shoot a guy like 9 times with a rifle and he won't go down. Then I'll get 4 one-shot kills in a row from about the same range. I'll shoot directly at an enemy's chest and he won't go down. But then I'll just aim in the general direction of another enemy and he goes down right away. It makes no sense. There are explosions going on all around you with no indication of where the fire is coming from. I was hoping for a more realistic shooter. If you want satisfying gun play try Sniper Elite 4. The multi-player is really stupid but the campaign and co-op are great. And where's the co-op in Battlefield 1? Oh, that's right. No co-op. Most people will play this game for a little while and then quit. I finished my first campaign section and said to myself, is that it? Really, that's it? It lasted like 30 minutes or less. That means you can probably finish all of the campaign sections in several hours. Pretty content, but not much of it. Critics talk about how great the campaigns are but don't mention that they are so brief. No wonder EA started giving this game away. Shallow eye candy is a good description.… Expand

    I would love to give an in-depth review of this game but the constant crashes even 1 month and a half after the game came out make it impossible to do it or to enjoy it. I absolutely enjoyed the singleplayer well-made storytelling, significant characters etc. The ascents from the last game are really refreshing to see. But the pleasure kinda ends when you play multiplayer. Some maps look like areas from SP that you should see but not go to and it's bland open spaces in terms of next to no cover which is the key point for spawn killers and many times there's nothing for cover in some cases it really makes the multiplayer more frustrating than entertaining. I have been trying to play the game in 4k with HDR but that seems too much to ask from the game, the screen blinks black every 10 seconds, simply unplayble. If you turn HDR off then you have to deal with the game auto trying to turn hdr back on every time you start the game, glitching your system to noA glitchy mess! 2019 and still so many glitches that probably will never be fixed.     I know the guns had been buffed since launch so for me the ttk is perfect.
    I like the skin system in the game and some of the gold inlay skins are very nice.
    Great weapons variety and I like the fact that they use prototype weapons that didn`t see action in ww1 .
    The sniper damage model based on the sweet spot distance mechanic is very fair in my opinion it adds some skill to the game rewarding the precise headshots and not allowing you to get kill by one bullet in any situation when you deal with an enemy sniper.
    The game has lots of noob friendly weapons but there are a few iron sights skill cannon weapons you can challenge yourself to get kills so you don't get bored.
    Great MP and SP

    Cons:

    Planes are way to overpowered , normal guns don`t do any damage and even support guns are way to weak , and it`s very hard to kill the pilot without a sniper . The only way to take down the planes is for all team to focus on them and to use stationary AA guns wich are not many on the maps and only support can repair , or maybe you have luck and your team has good pilots to hunt the enemy planes down. . AT rocket gun does very little damage and it takes skill to land a shot on a moving plane , the AA rocket gun it`s good but it`s useless against ground targets. To balance this if the plane is lower then 70m the damage should be increased and also the repair system should allow repair to max 75% to make it fair and require some skill not just repair and raid spam , only bomber should be able to repair back to 100% and by the way WW1 planes were made out of wood. Update:Incendiary ammo is very effective against air so i decided to bump the score +1 :)
    For killing tanks you have way more options and it takes only 3 assault players to take down any tank.
    The main problem is edge of the map camping with artillery truck and tanks and spawn camp , for mods that are attacker vs defenders only the defender shoud be allow to camp behind the lines .
    There is no team balance in this game . No test range map so you get dumb players who take tanks or planes who don`t know how to even drive them .
    The bypod on AT roket gun is buggy , sometime it doesn`t deploy and on the fence the angle of deploy and post deploy is way to small.
    Sound scratch bug , only alt tab can recover the sound to normal .
    When you fire from an eleveted position the bullet drop is strange when the enemy is near cover.
    Horses are supernatural in this game , the only way to take them down fast is using AT gun but not the horse the rider :) but I get it they have to make the horse a viable option.
    Shotguns range for 1 bullet kill is way to big , it removes the skill when you can snipe with the shotgun , some support machine guns have unrealistic accuracy over large distances and after the first 5 bullets they also have no recoil or random spread.
    EA doesn`t care about cheaters they never ban them , the auto ban system doesn`t ban even if the cheater has 100 kd and 90-100% hs accuracy with a lmg from across the map.    … Expand

Not only are the graphics gorgeous, and the gameplay fluid and satisfying, it also portrays the first world war, while not entirely accurate, in a fitting light. Also the Singleplayer missions are the best ones besides the ones in Bad Company. The only thing I don't like about it is theBattlefield 1 is one of the most compelling Battlefield games I have played in the past years. Not only are the graphics gorgeous, and the gameplay fluid and satisfying, it also portrays the first world war, while not entirely accurate, in a fitting light. Also the Singleplayer missions are the best ones besides the ones in Bad Company. The only thing I don't like about it is the prevalence of minor, but still annoying, bugs even after a few years of time. Also it isn't really fun playing on your own, you will definately need people to coordinate yourself with.
    Still a great game both on the side of Single- and Multiplayer, if you want a Battlefield game, I cannot recommend this one enough!    … Expand

    The games is divided into chapters or episodes, each one has a different hero and takes place in a different part of the world. Some missions will be on foot with your gun and some others controlling a vehicle can be a tank or a plane. As well some missions will have some large scale battles like the introduction level which is great but then the rest of the games are about infiltrating enemy lines and not being detected (if you want), that end up being boring.
    Visually the game looks gorgeous, the Frostbite engine manage to do a good gob at rendering large scale maps with full detail and destructible environments.
    Take on mind that Battlefield 1 is a CPU hungry title so... it will consume 100% of it's usage, in case you don't have a really capable CPU you will struggle with some FPS here and there.    … Expand

    This is the Battlefield I have always been waiting for.

    Finally, I don't feel that "fat character lag" that I always experience in the past BF.
    Now it's as fluid as a Counter-Strike or COD can be.

    All that with amazing graphic, building destruction, and all the tank etc...

    Finally a game that is polished at launch !

    The game is a masterpiece by Dice, both his campaign (although a bit short) and his online, the only bad thing that I see, is that there are almost no good servers in South America, but besides that, the game is quite all right.

    The game was bad. The menu was trash. I couldn't find an game but when i found one the teams were unbalanced and i was always put on defensive side when i wanted to try out attacking for once, but no im defending. One thing that was decent about this was the gameplay when rarely the teams were balanced and i actually found an game. I didn't enjoy my time "playing" this. Don't buy this evenThe game was bad.     This is a good game, BF1 has a short story (Single Player) but its great bcuz show us WW1 that its a few games about it.

    I have started playing BF series with BF3. Liked BF3 a lot and did NOT like BF4 too much. When I saw BF1 trailers and initial gameplay, I was mesmerized. Game looks, plays and feels amazing. Bought it in June 2017 after I changed my PC - it is to me one of the most addictive games I played so far. Truly beautiful, rich in details (look at the soles of fallen soldiers, even there they putI have started playing BF series with BF3. Liked BF3 a lot and did NOT like BF4 too much. If you were ever into WW1 there, movies, books etc, you will love this game. Well, I am older generation, 43 years old now, so maybe that's why I like it so much.

    On the downside - game still has some bugs, especially for planes or some graphic glitches. This is however 0,01 % of the gameplay, you barely notice it. Game was also substantially changed with introducing ttk 2.0, which is kind of update to the killing engine - it is faster than in original gameplay which I do not like. But after so much time I got used to this, fine.

    Overall this is amazing game. I have life, work, no time to play it all the time, but I played much to see this is truly great thing. Compared to BF V at which I cannot even look, it is disgustingly awful piece of c***, BF1 is true gem. I am sure that thanks to the failure with BF V , servers will bve fill for next 2 years at least and I am very happy about it.

    9/10 because of small bugs and changes such as ttk 2.0, but normally I would rate it 10/10 or close.    … Expand

    DICE is to be commended for taking the risk and returning back to historical wars as a setting for their Battlefield games and Battlefield 1, for all intents and purposes, is a solid FPS: it has beautiful graphics, a glorious orchestral score and multiple gameplay improvements. The single player campaign also reminds us why World War I was so important to the evolution of warfare yet alsoDICE is to be commended for taking the risk and returning back to historical wars as a setting for their Battlefield games and Battlefield 1, for all intents and purposes, is a solid FPS: it has beautiful graphics, a glorious orchestral score and multiple gameplay improvements. Unfortunately, the game does have minor issues (e.g. laggy cutscenes, dumb AI, poor level design, etc.) and it seems to be even less authentic or realistic than previous Battlefield games in terms of pacing, the battles and the weapons – so much so that it's the first Battlefield game I really didn't get into.… Expand

    There is no servers in CIS countries. And you will not find any info about it before you buy.

    Нет серверов в СНГ, играть не комфортно. Игра ниче такая, но не советую, особенно если вы живете на востоке или центре России.

    The Quick match is totally broken, everytime i try to join a server by quick match it puts me on a empty server, the servers are horrible, i join a match, 5 minutes later a connection error, the server list do not shows all the servers. Do not buy this game.
