    About time people are standing up for this masterpiece not only on Steam, but also here. How is it even possible that best version of AC Unity has worst user score? What matrix is this? Great game, highly recommended. Here's a newsflash for people who think this game has bugs : they fixed it in 2015. Welcome to the future.     If you don't like this game, then i don't like you. It's that simple. That's how seriously i take protecting this game. It has one of the most beautiful cities from the actual past recreated, insanely amazing visuals for 2014. Absolutely amazing parkour. This game doesn't have greatest story of all time, it has just okay story that has tons of fun missions. Ac 4 combat was fine, but hereIf you don't like this game, then i don't like you.     Ubisoft has always made quality games, they are obviously no Rockstar Games, but neither are other companies and that's a fact. I remember how people whined about Ubisoft games and acted like "Cybermiracle 2077" will be flawless and amazing and we all know how this turned out. Now all CDproject fanboys are quiet. Good. Unity is solid game, better than 3, Odyssey, Rogue, Syndicate (even thoUbisoft has always made quality games, they are obviously no Rockstar Games, but neither are other companies and that's a fact. I remember how people whined about Ubisoft games and acted like "Cybermiracle 2077" will be flawless and amazing and we all know how this turned out. Now all CDproject fanboys are quiet. Good. Unity is solid game, better than 3, Odyssey, Rogue, Syndicate (even tho Syndicate was solid effort and worth a play) and to me even better than Origins. But that last one is about personal taste, because Origins is very well made game and looks stunning. I just find Paris way more interesting and i like time period more, so that's just my choice, but Origins is also great game. Anyway to put it short, i would very much recommend Unity.… Expand

    Amazing game! Paris looks extremely good, parkour is better than ever, great combat, solid story and characters.

    Easily one of the best Assassin's creed's. Parkour and combat alone make this game amazing, but it's also graphically stunning.

    I would say Unity overall is very good game, it had some issues at launch, but that was like million years ago. It always had solid parkour, solid combat, nice characters, amazing graphics, beautifully designed Paris. It was never broken lie like cyberpunk 2077. When Unity's bugs were fixed it was amazing. When cyberpunk 2077 bug's will be fixed, it will still have amateur level policeI would say Unity overall is very good game, it had some issues at launch, but that was like million years ago.     Positives - Graphics, Main character, Side Characters, Map design, Combat, Parkour
    Negatives - Story could be longer, Side missions are not very interesting

    Great game, Paris looks incredible (on pc at least), gameplay is not perfect, but it's a lot fun anyway. I like it way more than older ac games, but ac 4 is better than unity.

    Why is this user score so low, what the hell? Unity is not perfect, but it's still amazing in many ways. Parkour, combat, design of Paris, etc.

    There's something special about Unity, i'm not even sure what exactly. Maybe just this darker, more serious tone. Black Flag had something similar and i like both of them equally.

    Overall i would recommend it, if you like AC series.

    Hopefully one day Ubisoft either remakes or remasters AC Unity and adds some new stuff like new side missions and also make Élise playable character and give her some extra missions. That would be amazing. This game clearly has huge fanbase, so why not. Even tho first i would like to see remaster of AC 4: Black Flag.

    I'm super confused, because why does it have so bad user score? I understand that there were bunch of trolls and angry people combined when it launched, because it was buggy, but it works perfectly now. So while i get that it has negative reviews, every game has those, where's all the positive reviews? While Cyberpunk got over 17 000 positive reviews in like two months and had way worse launch than Unity. I'm just wondering, if AC Unity fans just don't care about this score and if that's the case, why cyberpunk 2077 fans care so much about that score? It's weird.… Expand

    Overall: Graphically stunning, best parkour, great combat, had bad launch, but got fixed, overall it's one of my favorite AC games.
    Ranking: My second favorite AC game.

    This and watch dogs 1 are both great games that came out same year, but for whatever reason they are both super underrated. Even tho seems like in recent years those game have got way more attention and fans, or idk, maybe they were always popular. Maybe there was just bunch of haters who tried to lower the scores and actual fans just didn't care about the scores and just enjoyed the games.

    Very fun assassins creed, one of the best cities in whole series, even tho London was also cool. Black Flag is obviously better game overall, but Unity is great in it's own right.

    This game had bad launch, but ironically it was in better shape already than Cyberpunk 2077 and let me remind you, that was 2014 not 2020. So yeah and they fixed it pretty quickly. Overall it's great game, not best AC game, but still very good.

By the way, PC version of AC Unity is best version of this game, so it's kind of ironic that it has worst user score out of all versions. The way some churches look from both outside and inside is just incredible. They fixed most game-breaking bugs by early 2015, but 6 years later some people still wanna pretend like it's in bad state. No it's not. I have been playing it on and off past 6 years, i play it pretty much every year at least once and it's great. Best parkour in whole AC series, combat is actually difficult (in a good way) and very brutal. Graphics are amazing for an 2014 game. Highly recommending this one, if you are interested in 1790 Paris, AC game with good parkour and some really cool missions.… Expand

    Newfound openness of Assassin’s Creed demonstrates just how inadequate its AI really is for a stealth game: pampered nobility usually simply ignores a bloodied body on the dance floor, and guards don’t care much either. At least they’ve learned how to fight: unless you “cheat” with smoke bombs, it’s highly unlikely you’ll survive a melee against a group. [Jan 2015, p.62]

    As I write this, Assassin’s Creed: Unity is a bugfest, but technical problems, however annoying, can and probably will be fixed. It is not cracks in textures that it is the most worrying thing about Unity, but the cracks in game design and writing.
