    Amazing Diablo fun that has come to mobile. Combat and gameplay are great. The microtransactions are kind of an issu, If your similar to the average user then this will not matter. It's all about the gameplay and I love it.

    Been a huge fan since D1. Played thousands of hours of D1,2,3. Refunded D2:Ressurected after a weekend of progression got rolled back. But I was never expecting such a disgusting microtransaction HELL, like this piece of garbage is. Mobile predatory gambling should stay on mobile and must never make its way to PC.     It's a real shame. The game could be quite an amazing mobile experience... But it's been ruined by it's disgusting business practices. Even being able to spend the amount of money this game tries for should be illegal.

    Yeah.. I'm a big Diablo franchise fan, but unfortunately for Activision shareholders not a very compliant cash cow. Also, I'm not gambling my hard-earned money, ever. What were they thinking ?? This is ridiculous and a freaking disgrace. Blizzard should fall into oblivion. They're on the right path for that.

    Huge disappointment. Cash grabbing blizzard taking advantage of its loyal fan base. Gameplay isn’t terrible however if you plan on maxing out a character you may want to get ready to splurge your life savings.

    C'mon guys. It's not bad for mobile gaming. I played about 6 hours and don't feel like I'm being forced to donate. May be it's so on high levels, but now I have fun with historical quests. May be it's not 10/10, but also it's not 0/10.

No one wants Diablo Immortal to be P2W. It's supposed to be a grindy game, where you can play as much as you want till you are sick of grinding/farming but never powerlocked/timegated.

    To those who said "You don't have to pay, you can still have fun". Yes and no. Yes, you can have fun until you realized there's nothing you can do to grow stronger but paying. No, there's no fun in grinding knowing that someone out there who's gonna destroy you just because he paid a lot. "You don't have to min-max".     A great game ruined by the most predatory p2w scheme in a mobile game yet.
    Game runs ok and feels good to play, but once you hit lvl 60 and start working on endgame, be ready to feel the frustration of always being gated and slowed down to compel you to use the real world money shop.
    Play it for free until D4 arrives, its alright if you dont mind being behind the whales and orchas.

I'll be honest and admit I was heavily biased against DI before it was released. That said I gave it a fair chance, both on mobile and PC (sort of beta at time of writing). I wanted to have a new, novel, and portable Diablo experience.

    I would have happily eaten my words if Blizzard had proved me wrong. But this was not to be. I would have expected this from a shovelware studio. More akin to a bad reskinned asset flip job. Go look up NetEase's previous title: "Endless of God". Wyatt said 'built from the ground up'. That was apparently not exactly 100% honest. The voiceovers are done well. The story is solidly good Blizzard-quality work. The look and feel of the universe is definitely DII or DIII astethics.

    But that's where the positive ends. Crappy UI/UX. Garbage navigation system. The MMO aspect feels tacked on and doesn't serve the greater game in any useful way. And the obvious elephant in the room: not-so-micro microtransactions. This alone should be enough to shelve the game for good. I don't mind paying for a game. It's not cheap to run a studio of that size. Assets are expensive. Voice work is time consuming. High quality graphics don't come from shutterstock. I completely expect to pay for the experience. 50? 60? 70? 80? Sure. Come up with a fair number. And then sell me a feature complete game. But this whale hunting nonsense* should be the domain of naked cash grabs from crappy mobile games. Netease, for sure. But not Acti/Blizz. (*the strongest word I can use here)

    I used to root for Blizzard. They were what you expected from a quality, professional, AAA studio. Now I'm rooting for their collapse. Hopefully someone else better qualified to do the job can buy the IP and pick up the mantle.    … Expand

    Set a predefined max time youll play it, eg. 10hours and then you uninstall and NEVER touch it again, then you'll be fine.
    Everything after that is the worst kind of #scamware imaginable.

    I grew up with this game. Diablo 2 specifically. I used to play sometimes 12hrs per day. It really saddens me what blizzard and Diablo have become.

    Great game, fun to play. It plays just like a mobile diablo would play. To say that this is a pay to win, is just stupid. In no way do I ever feel that I have to spend money to get further in the game. The drop rates are proof of this, even if you spent money to try to get ahead you will be limited to the same level as those who don't spend money. I say well done to blizzard.

Personally I've been waiting for Diablo as a live service game, and as far as it goes for those "micro transactions" they are not overly taxed on a player. You may pay or skip them entirely it's "your choice". I personally love to put my money into a game especially if i like what is done with the game. Only in past 2 years I've put probably around 1000 Eur in DLC content for games i bought and still play, also in micro transactions for virtual currency for cosmetics and additional content as the game developer's progressed them.
    Bottom line is STOP ATTACKING GAMING COMPANIES AND DEVELOPER TEAMS IF YOU DON'T LIKE HIW THEY MADE THE GAME. The planet is fortunately not revolving around you.    … Expand

    This game is high quality and exceptionally fun. You don’t need to spend money to play through this game. Since its free, its easy to coordinate with friends and play cooperatively with minimal cost. Its also great if you want to play something on your phone as the mobile integration is amazing.     Smells like Pay2Win when you first start playing with "buy this" and "gz now buy this" advertising. I was lucky enough to get a 2/5 star upgradable to 5 star gem.. You think, wow brilliant... Then you realise it costs 10x more to upgrade to rank 2.. 50 gems from rank 1 to 2.. Gems=power game lags pvp is a filthy joke with hacmers already.... Yikes!

    I'm bothered by the bland story of the world's destruction, which was vehemently influenced by the online nature and spirit of the game or the inability to change the camera. The game looks and runs very well, and you can also adjust the graphics settings on more powerful devices. I'd leave the disdain for the online elements of Diablo Immortal to the eternally doubting and overlooking, because just as you can recognize a good poem, you can recognize a fundamentally good game.     It is undeniable that Diablo Immortal's monetization system has problems and makes the more advanced stages of the adventure unpleasant, but the fact remains that the Blizzard title has brought one of the best experiences in the action RPG field to the mobile market, and it really is difficult to find on the App Store and Google Play Store another free to play with such high production values. Diablo Immortal is an excellent pastime for those who want to complete the long cooperative campaign and, above all, could represent the perfect entry point for those who have never approached the series: even without putting their wallet in, in fact, it remains a pleasant adventure to live while waiting for the fourth chapter to make its debut on the shelves.
