    Blizzard had an opportunity to advance mobile gaming forward--to show the world that it can be comparable to playing a game on a PC or console. To prove all the haters at BlizzCon wrong. They could have easily done so because the game is actually... really fun.

    But the monetization ruined their chance.

    A pay-to-win game with nothing to "win." Enemies scale with you. So you can pay to become stronger but it just makes the enemies stronger also. What's the point? Also the reward for playing to the end game is... more stuff you can spend real money on! Did you buy the $5 battle pass at the start of the game? When you make it to level 50 you'll unlock an entirely separate 2nd battlepass for $20!

    The UI is so bad. Anything I do covers the mini map. And I cant bring the buttons on the right side to be lower.
    The game design is also kinda weird. Why do I have to click everywhere to get 2 cent reward anytime I do anything as simple of walk.

    While i have fun leveling characters and theory crafting builds I'd like to try, the monetization this game has is just absurd and kills what with a few updated would actually be an great game for phones/PC. Not to mention that any purchase you make isn't account wide, but tied to that one single character...     Good gameplay. All the rest is a whole new level of P2W trash and an insult to gamers. You have to pay for equipment and CANNOT obtain such equipment without paying absurd amount of money. Do not support such a business model from a company that turned from respectable to a dumpster fire over the years.

    Absolute Pay to Win Garbage. Was bombarded with asks to pay real money within the first 15 min of the game. Do the math and it costs then of thousands to get all 5/5 gems. Just a money grab by AB. Sad because there is a good game under it all. But after this even if they removed all microtransactions I will never play. They ruined this.

    Diablo Immortal has such great potential, but the horrific catering to whales makes the game pointless to play in end-game without spending hundreds if not thousands of dollars on Legendary Crests. It would take a Free-to-Play player years of grinding to get anywhere close to a functional build.

This is one of my most beloved IPs and I certainly hope there will be ZERO signs of this practice in Diablo 4. If not, I will never purchase another product of Activision Blizzard again and that’s final. There has to be a line, and for me this is it.     I'll give it a 1 because I got at least a few days of entertainment out of it. Without dumping loads of money. I dropped maybe 40 bucks on this game. Which I knew how much of a mistake this was. I was bias and instantly dropped money on the battle pass and stuff because it's DIABLO. but as I completed the story line. Reached a power wall. Meaning in order to do the next hardest thing , II'll give it a 1 because I got at least a few days of entertainment out of it. Without dumping loads of money. I dropped maybe 40 bucks on this game. As a FTP player I was grinding for hours as paragon 12 with literally minimum progression. Reports say now it would take 10 years to max a single character as FTP or over $110000 USD!! The layers upon layers of in-game currency means you need multiple items, many that can only be bought with real money, to progress. Blizzard took a beloved franchise and completely ruined it with greedy predatory practices. I am deleting this game and going back to D3 which you can do everything here and more for free...     To see the gaming titan of my childhood tarnish the esteemed name of Diablo is truly saddening. Diablo-like was used for decades to describe the action rpg genre (similar to Doom-like until fps was coined). To have it minimized to the lowest common denominator and contain all of the toxic and abusive cash grab tactics of our time is a slap in the face.

    Let's get this straight. You can play early to midgame as FTP. Once you hit max character and put on some paragon points, the only way to progress is to buy, buy and buy. As a FTP player I was grinding for hours as paragon 12 with literally minimum progression. Reports say now it would take 10 years to max a single character as FTP or over $110000 USD!!     The game itself is not bad at all(early game at least) - but has been totally ruined by a level of greed previously unseen.

Now we can ask them back "don't you people have customers?" in equally snarky tone. Blizzard continues on their quest to ruin their great titles. More p2w crap, but this time to an astounding degree.     Very disappointed of blizzard for that big big fail.
    The amount of the monetization is huge and unjustified. The game is a copy of Diablo 3 but cutted for mobile.

    This is just one of the worst Pay2Win games on the market. You will feel like trash being free to play player that gets bread crumbs every month. You will get owned in PVP by people who spend money. You will feel bad for your gear not being good because you can't pay money. This is just absurd.

    Blizzard did it again! Successfully ruined one of the best games! It’s entertaining at the beginning, then becomes the regular mobile grind everybody hate. And if you throw in the mix the enormous amount of micro transactions needed for a decent play is straight forward robbery. You can definitely play for free, perhaps it’ll take you a lot of years and time spent to get basic stuff.Blizzard did it again! Successfully ruined one of the best games!     Game looks good and feels great to play. great base for a diablo game . But why rate it so low despite it being a solid game? Simple they put very single sleezy mobile micro transactions that has ever been made. They make it seem like it will happen but they slowly try to groom you into it then bam pay wall.     I was very skeptical about the game since announcement, but went ahead and downloaded it on my phone. Graphically it looks nice but the gameplay is very shallow compared to Diablo 3 which is what it made me wish I was playing. Why I gave this a 0 though is due to the constant microtransaction nonsense and how you cannot get ahead without spending real money on it. I wanted to like it, II was very skeptical about the game since announcement, but went ahead and downloaded it on my phone.     Yeah, I have to agree with the many reviewers on microtransactions. You play this for long enough and you realise the sheer difference between you and the P2W players. No Diablo game should be like this, and it's placed a blemish, a scar, on the franchise. I even made an account here to review the game, as people need to understand what they're getting into by playing this game.

    THE GOOD: The gameplay feels solid, great effects, great voice acting, work on my iPad Pro (actually had few bugs where back buttons wouldn't render and I had to relaunch the game) as well as OnePlus 7 Pro phone. Possible to finish the game without paying a dime, but... THE BAD: So much    Could have been good... but its TERRIBLE. Avoid this game like the plague, it's not worth it.

    THE BAD: So much monetization in this game that it actually took me by surprise, starting after defeating the first boss (if my memory serves me right), and ramping up like a snowball through the whole game. Blizzard uses pretty much every psychological leverage to pump as much money as possible from you and creates a system which is clearly pay-to-win, no matter how you define it. A person who dumps money into this game, compared to free-to-play can reach 2,3 or X times stronger. No matter your time investment into the game, you won't be competitive no matter what you do, that is unless you are pumping cash into the game like mad. Just watch any YouTube video where people analyze it, or try playing yourself and see, I sure have. Some clans in game won't even accept you unless you are a paying player.

    This is a dirty stain on Blizzard's reputation and it will probably rub off on Diablo 4 and any other project they will create.    … Expand

    I'm bothered by the bland story of the world's destruction, which was vehemently influenced by the online nature and spirit of the game or the inability to change the camera. The game looks and runs very well, and you can also adjust the graphics settings on more powerful devices. I'd leave the disdain for the online elements of Diablo Immortal to the eternally doubting and overlooking, because just as you can recognize a good poem, you can recognize a fundamentally good game.     It is undeniable that Diablo Immortal's monetization system has problems and makes the more advanced stages of the adventure unpleasant, but the fact remains that the Blizzard title has brought one of the best experiences in the action RPG field to the mobile market, and it really is difficult to find on the App Store and Google Play Store another free to play with such high production values. Diablo Immortal is an excellent pastime for those who want to complete the long cooperative campaign and, above all, could represent the perfect entry point for those who have never approached the series: even without putting their wallet in, in fact, it remains a pleasant adventure to live while waiting for the fourth chapter to make its debut on the shelves.
