I had the most experience with the games, and only then I've read the Witcher books. That's the reason I had some unfulfilled expectations after watching Netflix series. But during the process of watching the first season, I understood thatI had the most experience with the games, and only then I've read the Witcher books. That's the reason I had some unfulfilled expectations after watching Netflix series. But during the process of watching the first season, I understood that it's a completely different take on the source material and by tossing off my expectations I began to get as much enjoyment as I could get. Some mistakes are made but it's a nice adaptation none the less. Worldbuilding is great, the soundtrack is quite good too, but I'm a bigger fan of Witcher 3 stuff. Henry is great and it is very easy to spot his devotion to this role and this universe. I hope that the show will do even better in the future because it's clear that there is still some space for improvement. Currently, I'm again intrigued in the story I already know so good, so that's a very good sign I guess :) Expand

It's a good show, finally some **** with fantasy and quality. GoT is terrible example of fantasy and people still say that it's good in that way.

For me personally the main cast is perfect in their roles and I've enjoyed watching two seasons with my wife.

Personally the nudity and gore makes it occasionally hard to watch but I suppose that is what the source material is like. The story is also a bit hard to follow with all sorts of names thrown around here and there that you are expected to memorize at that moment.

Really looking forward to seeing more of this series in the future. The first two seasons have me hooked.

Slower beginning, but great characters, interesting stories and amazing fight scenes definitely made up for it. I think casting was done almost perfectly and I’m in awe of Geralt’s and Yenn’s actors acting skills. Wait for Season 2.

It had a lot of potential to be a disaster as Netflix sometimes manage to butcher some good source materials but it was quite surprising. It was definitely not what I expected having only played The Witcher 3 but I welcome this surprise. Sure, the cast could have been better but I got the same bold and sarcastic Geralt and the ambitious Yennefer I knew from the game universe. The first episode wasn't impressive and almost make me regret starting it but once the story starts unfolding for real I was hooked. Great music department and the visual effects were generally good too.. Expand

Don’t expect GOT, it has not the same budget and writers. The characters seem a bit shallow. But a lot has to do with the fact that it is written as an introduction. Also the world building seems at time a bit empty. But at times it hits the right atmosphere and gives me hope for what it can become. I like Henry Cavill as Geralt and the other characters are growing on me. If you don’t compare it with GOT, but with other fantasy series, I it is better than most of them. Expand

The only thing to complain about is, that it's full of racism. As a slavic, who is deeply connected with the slavic culture, it hurts to see that slavic people are played by colored and western actors. It's also not how the source portraits it. So to not be racist against the slavic culture, the actors should be swaped with actual slavic actors. It hurts to see my culture butchered like that by a western company. (I hope the ones reading that understand that you should not take that review very serious. I just wanted to show how the SJW sound. Pathetic. As a slavic, I don't feel offended by black people playing slavic characters because I'm not a looser of life.) Expand

The Witcher series has more potential. Season 1 was nice but was little bit fast paced.

First of, Henry Cavill as Geralt is the best part of this show. No doubt about that. The show is worth watching just for his portrayal. He really cares about the character. The fight Choreography is nice. Moments between Jaskier and Geralt were also nice. There were some bad casting choices like Triss, Foltest and the Driads.

All in all its worth the watch if you're a fan of the Witcher games/books. I can't praise Henry enough for his performance though. Seriously.

As a hige fan of the WItcher it was great to see and learn more about my favourite characters, but on the other hand, I can tell this didn't have the same budget as Game of Thrones. The cast itself was very good. Henry Cavill (Geralt), Anya Chalotra (Yennefer) and Freya Allan (Ciri) all did a great job in my opinion. And the action was also very good, the fight scene at the end of the first episode and the last episode in gerenal were both fantastic (action wise). However he negative of this series is the story. I had to look at multiple explanations online as it is pretty confusing and jumps around timewise. I think the fact that the episodes aren't in chronologial order does a disservice and once I properly understood the story it all seemed better, but viewers shouldn't need to look at recaps onlin, the sries should make it clear. Now as I said, I did enjoy the series as a whole and I'm looking forward to season 2, but I really hope they improve on the story and make it more logical because this series has potentiall and it would be a shame it it didn't live up to it Expand

Unfortunately not, but pleasantly surprised and not bad at all. Surprisingly, it's great. Putting Henry Cavill in the role of The Witcher was a good choice in my opinion, but what was not a very good choice is no offense to actress Triss, who is a black woman. I'm not a racist or anything, but I'm just supposed to be a white Triss character and I stand for it. On the other hand, Yennefer was most pleased. Her storyline was the best and, conversely, Ciri had the worst storyline, which sometimes had boring parts. . But overall, this is a great series that I can recommend.

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. The Witcher season 1 is ok . the good parts of season 1 are , I enjoyed the fight scene and the acting was amazing hennery carvel made Geralt real , the timeline was messy at first both after a few episodes it made sens and some of the monsters look rely real and the best part about the witcher is the story Geralt plot was a lot a short storesy
like the first book boht yennifers plot was the best how she had to overcome evriting and the ending ended kinda in a clif hanger the last tingh i wil say about the good parts is that this is beased on the books not on the games and I am a big fan of the games so this was a new story to me. THE Bad , there isnt a lot of bad tings bouth there is a litel ciri story was the most predictybal and some of the locations didn t look that fantesy .
the witcher is so underated .
it is a must watch for fans of the books or the games and for new people who don t know the story of the witcher

9 out of 10 - because there is always something to improve or change ...
As a fan of the series, I am 99% satisfied. I watched season 1 already 8 times and did not even think to change my rating for the worse. It's a terrific show and hope, after the horrific Game of Thrones finale. The only problem with The Witcher series is very little, despite the lengthy 8 episodes. The Witcher universe is too big and the story is very complex, so I understand the indignation of many fans who wanted to see a lot, but because of the cinema, it is impossible to show and tell everything. Nevertheless, season 1 showed a decent backstory and allowed those who were not familiar with the story to get acquainted with it. Great start of the series !!!
What we liked:
1) The cast. It seemed to me quite acceptable. All actors are well accepted in the role of certain characters, but this does not mean that the casting is perfect. There is work to do!
2) Acting in some cases, I was simply amazed at how well the actors convey the images of the main characters. Personally, I felt a strong resemblance to Geralt of Rivia as Henry Cavill, Yennefer as Anya Chalotra and Jaskier as Joey Batey - they are just great and well conveyed the emotions and characters of the characters. The rest of the actors were also pretty good to one degree or another, but it was season 1, so it's too early to criticize.
3) Narration. Even if it seemed confusing, but quite logically it revealed the beginning of the story without focusing on the main thing in order to make it possible to understand.
4) The series is filmed very well. Each episode is pleasant to watch, the scenery is pleasing to the eye, it is interesting to watch what is happening and there is nothing superfluous.
What did you dislike or embarrass:
1) Gnomes! Didn't the creators of the series watch The Lord of the Rings? The same applies to dragons, which were well, not at all like those images to which we are accustomed. The dragons in the show were more like a breed of dragons.
2) Costumes are weapons! This is an important component, but for some reason they save on it. especially the armor of Geralt in the photo from the filming of season 2 (in season 1, his armor was much better !!!).

Many thanks to all of us who filmed and starred in this wonderful series. I look forward to the sequel and the announcement of the season 2 show date.

Yes there is room for improvement and if your going into this expecting a "Game Of Thrones" level of awe and wonder then you will be disappointed. Geralt just broods and kicks ass, Jaskier cracks jokes and sings his heart out, and Yennefer selfishly seeks more power. There's no nuance to any of them, and I didnt really see their character arcs (except Yennefer, and it's short).

Most of the supporting characters are also annoyingly try-hard. Jaskier's jokes are supposed to bring relief but as the show progressed they became cringier. His whole persona is trite and robs scenes of their seriousness.

The main thing that I really enjoyed was the lore of the magic and monsters. Seeing Yennefer become acquainted with the rules of magic and learning about the monsters Geralt was hunting was entertaining.

Very good series. It puts new spin on the known witcher story and executes it very well. As a fan of both books and games I am very pleased and can't wait for more!

Henry Cavill is back (as gloomy as ever) in the title role as a monster killer. He’s partnered with Ciri (Freya Allan), as she prepares to take her place in history. The first season was more rugged and raw. There were lots of silly names and exotic places, but the monsters were more prevalent and the action more intense. Season Two obviously had a bigger budget: The dramatic locales, exotic costumes and CGI effects are all greatly improved. However, the story is more disjointed with multiple locations, time periods and storylines to make matters more complex. There’s also too much expository dialogue and needless discussion that interrupts the flow of action and adventure. Still, it's one of the better current fantasy series. (First season of 8 episodes was released in 2019 and 2nd season episodes is playing with a 3rd season announced. ) Expand

I mean, it's not awful, but it's not particularly good either. It has style, but lacks substance. Most of all though, it's narrative is utterly confusing and the exposition of the characters and the world very poorly done. Half the time I had no idea what on earth was going on, and found myself to not really care either. It tries to do much and suffers from being far too overblown. If anything, this series shows how good Game Of Thrones was at character development and narrative storytelling, while gradually ramping up the wow factor as the series progressed. The Witcher is like a bull steaming at the gate with no idea why it's all worked up. Expand

I have also played all 3 video games including all DLC. As an adaptation the show stinks. The characters barely represent the original, in terms of visually (how they are described in detail in the book) as well as character wise. The plot deviates from the source material in absolutely MASSIVE ways, and not just in the "we have to translate it into a new format so have to change certain things" way, but rather changing and assassinating the absolute fundamental character traits and behaviors. And the plot just does not make any sense. The producer themselves stated they would rather create quick emotion fast-food because they believe the audience to be 0 attention-span ADHD tiktok teens who don't want any logical plot or character behaviour. The netflix show is the Witcher in name only. None of the plot, characters or characters are even remotely truthful. That being said, if one can watch this show while intoxicated and on a second monitor while browsing reddit or tiktok then it's not that bad. It's mostly well produced, so can still be entertaining if you pay no attention to anything. Some actors are really good (Henry Cavil is a phenomenal fit for Gerald, so is Jaskier and some others). The show is ruined by it's writing. It feels like the showrunner and writers just took a popular franchise and then immediately throw everything out the window to write their own story instead to feed their ego.

tldr; Can still be entertaining if brain is turned off. Terribly butchered if paying any attention - impossible to get immersed.

Honestly, That decision really dragged down the show and I hope they got for a more linear approach in season 2. Putting that aside, It was ok. The cast was solid and the first few episodes were enjoyable but I lost interest by episode 5 with the final episodes being an absolute bore for me to sit through. There was very little dialogue, Episodes were far longer than they had to be and the CGI left a lot more to be desired.

That said it's not as annoying and dumb as most of the recent American adaptations. It all boils down to - it's not the kind of Witcher I've fallen in love with but it's watchable. Yennefer is not really how I imagine her but the actress is great and her plotlines are the most interesting of the bunch. The cast in general, with the exception of Henry Cavill and a few others, is not really "my" Witcher but it's fine. It's an American Witcher after all. Still waiting for the real one though. Expand

So I really liked certain things about this show (enough to keep me interested in S2) but there are A LOT of stuff that is just . . . badly done. I feel this would be easiest to sum up in a list, so. . .

1. Cavill as Geralt is some of the best casting I've seen. He delivers his lines perfectly and his choreography is A+. I've never seen sword fighting like his except for in the games themselves.
2. The world is rich and deep with lore, characters, backstory and plenty of stuff to scratch that curiosity itch. I spent quite some time digging up stuff in the wiki about the show.
3. Special effects are top notch. The creatures look fantastic, have weight, impact. They've done their homework on the original content and it shows.

And now the things I dislike, which there are plenty. The 1st one being the biggest. I understand it is like that in the games but it's just a byproduct of poor writing.

1. FAR TOO MUCH SEX. I am far from a prude but my god the amount of sex is so overly abundant it becomes rote. There was an article in which the writers said the reason why there's so many is because it's a 'quick way to demonstrate their bond and why Geralt would chase after X___'. This is a piss poor reason. There could be thousands of reasons as to why Geralt would chase after someone that has nothing to do with sex but because of the lack of imagination, they just go with the basics. Geralt would be a much more interesting character if he wasn't thinking with his dick constantly.

2. The romance subplots are cringy. Most of them don't last very long and they're obviously just **** to get it out of their system which once again begs the question: why show all of them? Just get to the plot. Stop wasting 20% of the movie with dick and vag shots.

3. The entire scenario is incredibly boring and rather confusing to someone who isn't already steeped in the lore and the world. I had to use the wiki several times to figure out what was going on before I realized that there was MANY time skips.

4, Not nearly enough fight scenes. Normally I dislike them as they offer nothing to the story but the fantastic choreography really needed more time to shine.

5. Last and definitely least as it's minor, but do we really have to constantly get gorgeous women and ugly them to go in the opposite direction? Really frustrating to see this constantly. Know this is really just me and not a big contestation but figured I'd mention it.

Characters are introduced with out explanation or naming, despite how "important" they are. The disjointed timeline is totally unexplained and leaves those without prior knowledge of the lore wondering what the hell they are watching.
2 of the 3 female "leads" are miscast, Cavill is... different, his performance improves in season 2.
I'd wager that if 'flix hadn't forked out millions for the rights and this wasn't The Witcher it would have been cancelled after 1 season.

Season 2 is better but not by much. More awful acting and atrocious dialogue. Dozens of intertwining stories get lost in the ether by bad writing and producing.

And the casting is something else entirely. I don't profess to having encyclopedic knowledge of every bit actor in Europe by any means, but if they've got the word "actor" on their CV Netflix has found them and put them in this show. I don't think I've recognised a single face apart from Cavill's and that Tormund from GoT. I've seen pornstars with better acting ability than this cast

The CGI in both seasons looks like something from the early days of Sharknado. And the sets look like, yes, rejects from Game of Thrones.

The Witcher TV show is wasted opportunity. The reality is it should have followed the games as much as the books. Watching the behind the scenes vignettes and the show runner thinks they are doing a bang-up job. They're not, The Witcher sucks and the only barely redeeming feature is Cavill as Geralt.

"The Witcher" is a standalone TV show, and it doesn't matter if it is an accurate transposition of the original novels or the videogames. Despite that, "mixed feelings" is the best way I could describe it.
The overall atmosphere and characters are fine, but it felt that storytelling was a bit too week, even for this kind of show. First of all, the lore from the books is never explained despite being far from obvious, leaving most viewers disoriented. Names and locations are also kind of hard to remember, and the show really does nothing to help us in that sense. They just go on with everything assuming we all took the necessary history classes. I played the videgames some years ago but still couldn't figure out a lot of the dynamics. The three main storylines are supposed to intertwine, but are not temporally parallel. Ciri has to find Geralt, but the other characters just travel aimlessly. Fights are well choreographed but also mixed with cheap CGI. A lot of the talking is boring, but the humor reminded me of "Hercules: The Legendary Journeys". Maybe the budget was not sufficient to make something better than this, but I hope the success the series got will help it pay for better writers and CGI artists at least. It's not terrible but if the plan was to make the new "Game of Thrones", then there is still a lot of work to do.

However it does have a number of issues that hold it back. Let's talk about the positives first. Henry Cavill as Geralt of Rivia is fantastic. He kills it with his performance as adeptly as Geralt could cleave a Nekker in two with his Silver Sword. His mannerisms and speech feel like he has been cloned from Witcher 3 voice actor Doug Cockle. Other standouts are Freya Allen as Ciri, Anya Chalotra as Yennefer, MyAnna Buring as Tissaia De Vries who also voiced Anna Henrietta in the Witcher 3 Blood and Wine. But the real surprise came in the form of Joey Batey who plays the bard Jaskier (or Dandelion for those who are fans of the games). "Toss a Coin to your Witcher" is such a catchy tune and he plays the part perfectly.

Other casting choices I am less sold on. The choices of Fringilla Vigo and Triss Merigold I haven't been sold on yet. Hopefully my opinion changes in future seasons. The set design and in particular the monster design and visual effects are all well done. There are some truly spectacular monster designs here. More than I thought we would get. The downside is that some of the fight scene choreography while fast paced and action packed? There are moments that really push the suspension of disbelief. And yes I know Geralt is a mutant. But stabbing a guy in the leg I don't think would be quite enough to dispatch him if his adrenaline was pumping. Geralt handles the sword and has it behind his back at one point. Then there is the amount of twirling which leaves his back open. The armor of the Cintrans and Temerians looks fantastic. However what has been done to the nilfgaard armor is absurd. Narrative structure is a bit confusing. You jump between multiple characters at multiple points in time. It's not until about the 5th or 6th episode that these disparate timelines are brought together. They show you scenes you had already seen but from a different perspective adding new context. It's clever but can be a bit jarring to some. It eventually does make sense as you see new scenes inserted into these familiar snippets you have already seen. It's non linear storytelling and fortunately season 2 from the sounds of it will avoid this. It's certainly worth a watch for any fan of the series and I will say that a 2nd watch does add some greater context.

His enthusiastic portrayal of the white wolf is the best part of the show. I also enjoyed the choreography of fight scenes as well as locations an overall atmosphere of this series. Unfortunately the show has some fundamental flaws such as character development. Lack of it, to be precise. I believe they shouldn't have adapted the structure of the book so literally and jump around in time while separating the show to three different timelines. Instead of focusing on linear storytelling, most episodes felt like filler episodes wandering back and forth with the stories from "the last wish" that serve little purpose in pushing the main narrative forward. Forced diversity is also something that disappoints for someone like me who sees these stories for what they are which is Slavic folklore. I am still hopeful for season 2 to provide a more focused story and better character development, especially for Yen. Expand

The Netflix adaptation is not very bad, but not too good... in 2019 this is very few... :/ I think this is Hirsch & teams fault. Pro:
- Perfect actors/actress: Cavill (Geralt), F. Allan (Ciri), MyAnna (Tassaia), J. May (Calanthe), Appleton (Renfri), Batey (Dandelion), Levy (Mousesack)
- Bloody
- R rated & adult
- Some good fight scene, and some good costume

Cons:
- Big battles look sh*t
- Many CGI is sh*t
- The script and writing is not too good
- Idiot timeline jumping
- FORCED diversity everywhere
- Ruined Toruviels charachter (omg that “actress”)
- Nilfgaards armors looks black paper sh*t... “armors” :D - Some fight looks noobs (Geralt vs full armored Cintrian soliders)
- Striga... omg look sh*t...
- Some actors/actress not good
- Some episode directing and cuts is just bad
- Dwarfs not dwarfs, just little man. :/

I hope the Netflix teams learning, and making good season 2. But now in s01: this is not enough quality.

Let's get something out of the way right away: I never watched Game of Thrones, so there is no comparison from my side.

This show just didn't capture me. I wanted to like it so bad, Mr Cavill is one of my favorite actors, but unfortunately this show will not go down as a highlight of his career. I appreciate his enthusiasm for the character and the video game, he brought Geralt to the screen in a very good an authentic way. But it just didn't work for me. Nevertheless, he is the only positive thing that I can think of about this show.

I don't know what's the production budget, but so many times the entire thing felt like a B-category, cheap production. Poorly written dialogues, not so great acting from the rest of the cast (I didn't care for any of the characters) and casting choices. The CGI was okay overall the sword fight scenes were great. The editing of the plot progress timelines was confusing sometimes, made me wonder what the heck is going on, unfortunately not in a good way.

I'm not sure if I give the second season a chance after this.

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Having read the books (and played the games) I wanted to love this show. Instead I came out thinking it was just ok. I understand that things need to be changed around and shuffled when a work is adapted for the screen. However I never understood the need for unnecessary changes. The changes only serves to lessen the impact they had in the books (Renfri, the Djinn and the Last Wish, etc.). It all felt rushed and scattered and one dimensional. I'm hoping season 2 will be better now that the 3 timelines have converged and they dont have to cram 3 separate backstories into 10 episodes. Check out The Last Wish and Sword of Destiny books. If you liked the show, the books are much better. Expand

The main actor sound like he's putting on a voice and doesn't near as natural as in-game. Keep in mind, I have only played and finished the 3rd game and probably missed out on a lot of story, but I have no idea what's going on. Stuff just happens sometimes really fast after one another and some of them don't make sense. Each episode feels like a side quest but stretched out to be an hour long. This leaves me confused, not mad or disappointed just... confused

I'll give it a 4 for some nice action scenes and good looking visual effects. Other than that, it really hasn't much going for it.

Overall good concept, but the delivery is confusing for anyone who hasn't played the game, and the acting is stale.

The most painful part is the poor writing and lackluster world-building that is crucial for making epic fantasy shows palatable.

Instead, it ends up feeling and looking more akin to Fantasy shows from the late 90s like Xena and Hercules, rather than a big budget Netflix production.

The video game has a way more compelling story told entirely from Geralt's viewpoint. With the books/show you get more tough to understand sub plots that expect you to know a lot about the world rather than explaining it. The acting and cast of characters is done perfectly, but the story could have been so much better. Expand

I was introduced to this world because of those amazing games more than a decade ago (still haven't played Witcher 3 yet, though, a mortal sin I know) and with the release of Season 2 coming up, I decided to finally give Season 1 a watch, especially since I started reading the books and finished The Last Wish and Sword of Destiny beforehand considering this season is mostly based on those two books. What I loved: Henry Cavill as Geralt of Rivia. He was perfect. He had the feel and style of Geralt nailed down and since he is a fan of the games, he emulated the voice from them and it was awesome. He gave a great performance as the famous witcher. He looked the part too albeit a bit beefier version. Also, some of his fight scenes were brutally thrilling and well-choreographed. The song "Toss a Coin to your Witcher" from Jaskier/Dandelion was an absolute banger and Dan Vasc's Metal cover of it is even better. Still can't get it out of my head. What I liked: Joey Batey as Jaskier/Dandelion (I wish they called him dandelion in the series), he was a fun companion to The White Wolf and I enjoyed their interactions and his injection of comedy alongside Geralt's dry wit. Would have liked it more if the writing gave him more smarts alongside the comic relief aspect as it is in the books but who knows, maybe in the next season. Anya Chalotra as Yennefer, might not look the part that well but I sure did enjoy her performance, she had some intense moments in this season and she brought out her acting chops. Freya Allen as Ciri wasn't bad either and whatever shortcomings I felt had more to do with the writing and not the actress. Seeing some of the locations such as Cintra, some monsters such as The Kikimora and Striga, and some magic with good production values was entertaining. Also, some events which weren't elaborated on in the book being shown in the series was cool. The soundtrack was good and clearly had influence from the games although not at that level. What I didn't like/Hated: The way the story was structured, I wasn't a fan of it for a lot of it. Instead of taking their time with Geralt's short stories they were adapting from the books and introducing the viewer to the world and giving them proper breathing room by focusing earlier episodes on each story, they half-assed it in order to cram in other characters and plot elements that ran concurrently alongside the witcher stories in pretty much every episode and because of that, so much was cut or altered, some downright butchered (Sword of Destiny, for one). Also, some decisions made with the out-of-order timeline felt extremely misplaced basically giving you a spoiler first and then building up to it and I wasn't a fan of it.
The visuals were very inconsistent. Some episodes clearly had more budget than others. Elements such as the Brookilon Forest and Dryads or the dragon from the story The Bounds of Reason looked downright bad (and the adaptation of these stories equally sucked). Overall, I enjoyed it for some of the elements I mentioned above but I was certainly hoping for better adaptations of the stories, which is something I wish they'd remedy in Season 2. Now, would I have enjoyed this more if I had not read the books? Perhaps, but I can never know that for sure, I guess one gives up that factor when one has experienced the source first. Anyway, if you haven't watched it yet, I'd still recommend giving it a try regardless of whether you have played the games or read the books or are completely new to this fantasy world. If Netflix doesn't screw it up in the subsequent seasons, this could have the potential to be as big of a hit as Game of Thrones and the books are finished so there's that edge as well. And if I were to rate the first season, I'd give it a 6.5/10.

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. It’s fine. It’s not great and it’s barely good. I’m not going to lie, season 1 I hated the Aretuza plot. But I started to like some of those Aretuza characters (mainly just Fringilla) in season 2. I wish there were more episodes in a season to get more monster hunting/Geralt stuff. You have Henry Cavill who is perfect for the role. Don’t waste that. Give me more of season 2 episode 1 type of episodes.

Netflix will never give this show the budget it deserves because they have a formula that every show is going to follow, for max profitability. Netflix should never have taken on the Witcher if that was their plan for this.

I've rarely seen those for shows. Then, Netflix, like many other corporations (and persons) who reached the top, is stuck in a power drunkness/we **** gold attitude and they'll prolly never be able to get back to seducing the audience with creative stuff. I mean it's pure stupidity to take over an established and succesful universe (that to avoid comparison with GOT) to lure fans in, only so they find a completely rewritten.. everything. On what planet can this have any positive outcome for Netflix...Anyway.. 1st season is pretty good, 2nd season also, but they started to rewrite stuff, and the 3rd is a turd, modern show pattern with 99% bland and useless dialogues. Nobody gaf about the rest of the seasons, it's dead with or without Cavill. Well what can i say... Netflix, just don't spend in one place the 2 months sub u got from me for Witcher. U won't see me again for years Expand
