Summary: Nick Acropolis manages a numbers racket for Frank Nitti, but discovers that his wife Stella's brother Louis is embezzling from him. While he deals with Louis and tries to protect himself from Nitti, Nick discovers that his hired gunsel Frankie has plans to move up in the world...and those plans don't include Nick.
