This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Series 2's ending was ruined by uncanny valley Luke CGI, stupid dubstep, stupid Stormtroopers that just stand there to get killed easily, and when Mando takes his helmet off wasn't powerful because he did it in the penultimate episode. Oh and Moff Gideon's hammy monologuing was a huge cliche (Like The Incredibles satirized). Why don't Lucasfilm use deep fake technology? Collider have shown how easy and completely convincing to use deep fake with SW characters. Overall this season was disappointing, but some nice moments so I'll take any decent Star Wars morsels, but I found it nowhere near as good as season 1. It seemed to be 50% filler and so many tropes that got repeated (Side quests). Much shorter episodes too. I can only presume that Lucasfilm were in a hurry to get this out, the writing was rushed. This was even pointed out by one of the directors who was given a 19 page script. Expand

We can obviously tell that The Mandalorian is about to become a much larger addendum to the Star Wars saga, given the latest episode involving a particular Jedi and a VERY popular villain. There's hope for something much more interesting. The Mandalorian culture itself isn't enough to hold up the show for long. Expand

It just gives the whole story more weight and you will connect better with characters, locations and story threads. If they keep the quality and don't bring in too much of the old lore (like connecting everything to every movie, book, video game...), I really see that tv shows suits Star Wars better than movies, especially if they are directed by people with so much passion and respect for the legacy. So far it's a perfect show for me personally. Expand

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. What an incredible surprise!
I expected nothing from the new Star Wars movies and series, and I were right in the main triology of Rei, but this one has it.
Yes, it has the essence of the old ages of Star Wars, where the galaxy was rich in especies, where the worlds of smugglers and bounty hunters were based on an old far west style and where the main characters are charismatic.

After three spectacular episodes and a trending little surprise, the show established itself in a more standard few episodes but turn again into a high level episodes in the ending (two last episodes), finishing the first season whith hype for the second one.

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Oh baby. Dive into the Star Wars universe. Ok, there is no Darth Vader, no Skywalkers and we miss the Falcon, yet this hit the mark. I could give it a 10, but when I rank it next to The Empire Stikes back, it isn't there. It is in that conversation, though.

I got hooked when our Mandalorian started disintegrating Jawa's. It has the darkness of a bounty hunter story and the lightness of the animated series, which is evident in the writer & director team. This is by far the best addition to the SW franchise since the original 3 movies. Why so few episodes per season?!? Cost of course, but it pays off so well.

It created strong characters that you care for, relate to and want to know more of. This is especially praiseworthy because the Mandalorian played by Pedro Pascal always wears his helmet. It works because it follows the “Show not tell” rule. You get everything by his body language, voice and even hesitation in some situations. The show is much like Sergio Leones western where they speak not much but the scenery, mimic, expressions and pacing fills the gaps more than enough. Then there is the strong additional cast. Lets start with “Baby Yoda” who is named officially as the child but the first name sticks to the character and will be used. He is mostly practical effects by puppeteers and works amazing. Strong chemistry with the cast. Carl Weathers as leader of the bounty hunter guild is a master scoundrel, trickster and interesting character. IG-11 the bounty hunting droid steals the show and he won me over. Kuiil by Nick Nolte is another favorite. Great backstory, smart and a noble soul;“I have spoken”;-). With former rebel shock trooper Cara Dune played by Gina Carano we have a strong addition to the cast. She is smart, kicks as and will win you over easily. Bonus points for Emily Swallow as The Armorer, Giancarlo Esposito as Moff Gideon who you will love to hate and others I wont spoil. The story is pretty good and it gets better and better as new characters were introduced, you learn more backstories and the development / interactions start. It starts with the Mandalorian picking a special bounty hunt that is granted under the table. He did not know that this changes his life drastically. More I will not spoil. It is also the lore and world-building that improves the show. The Mandalorian codex (This is the way), the outskirts of the Star Wars galaxy that are mostly abandoned by law, the bounty hunters (and their guild) and the remains of the Empire are grabbing your attention. There are also underlying philosophical aspects that can be argued about. Good vs evil and shades of gray of this. Nature and nurture or parenting and family. The sets and special effects are also top notch and I think they did an excellent job. Overall this has hearth, soul, great characters and you always feel engaged and want more. Easily a 10/10 and I am hyped for season two. That is the way and I have spoken;-). Expand

Slow, generally episodic with gaping plot holes (e.g. setting traps instead of using your spaceship to blow up a barbarian hoarde) and strange character changes (a bounty hunter suddenly doesn't want to kill certain people). Oh, and mostSlow, generally episodic with gaping plot holes (e.g. setting traps instead of using your spaceship to blow up a barbarian hoarde) and strange character changes (a bounty hunter suddenly doesn't want to kill certain people). Oh, and most annoyingly of all is that everyone has a catchphrase which they use to death. There are also a few nice merchandising opportunities. It's like a long trailer for a video game - there's 'the cave' where you go to resupply, get power-ups, etc, a kind of skill tree as he gets new equipment, characters that will give you side jobs but still a main quest etc.

All in all, slow-paced and quite lame. And there's literally the worst lightsaber ever seen (seriously, was that CGI done by a child?).

I like almost everything about 'The Mandalorian' but then again the original trilogy was not perfect either, so it's almost as good as it gets! If I had any point of criticism, I'd say that when contrasting it with the movies it feels like it is lacking a bit. The budget that is. That is only a very minor point though because the CGI and the old-school style alien races blend together quite nicely all in all. The series has interesting ideas and subverts expectations on a small scale where it actually fits to keep the scenes fresh and the humor flowing. The music is good and very fitting. Heck, even the credits are nicely done! Great series! Must watch for every Star Wars fan and even non-sci-fi guys and gals can enjoy this. Take note future Star Wars movie directors! Expand

Don't put your characters in impossible situations if you want them to survive. Because when they do when they logically shouldn't, it completely shatters the viewers suspension of disbelief. The Mandalorian feels like something new, in that it adds to the universe of Star Wars, instead of being a repeat of other works within the universe. Excellent visuals, well played characters, and the series does not seem bothered by superfluous, too explanatory dialogue (like many other tv-series seem to be these days). The Mandalorian takes its time, but in the good sense of the word, as it allows its narrative and characters to unfold, and we get to know them mostly through their actions. I thoroughly enjoyed this first season, and look forward to more. Expand

However ruining the immersion, all the actors in armor ie troopers and the mandolorian looked unnatural when they were walking running or moving in general. As someone who wears awkward gear i know that after a while you become used to walking and moving in it. Also there elite former troopers moved like shell shocked new recruits who had never fought, beeen trained or born with a lick of self preservation. The sceene with the baby and 2 bike troopers was entirely on point though. Good concept horrible training and emersion breaking at points that a few hours of training could of helped with. Expand

II think I finally understand what Star Wars fanboys want. They grew up on the Lucas films so they think great special effects with paint-by-numbers plots, amateurish acting at best, and laughably bad dialogue is what makes great content. I grew up on Star Wars and loved it, warts and all. This seems like real Star Wars but lacks the most important thing: fun. This was boring. And I mean, really boring. Like so boring that I watched the first two episodes when they came out and just stopped. And only finished the rest six months later when I was injured and had to stay on the couch all day. And even then it was a struggle to get through. At least one episode could easily have been an episode of Xena: Warrior Princess. The new film trilogy has LOTS of flaws. But there were times during that mess that I felt like what was going on mattered, at least a little. Nothing that happens in this show matters at all. And while Adam Driver was the only actor to put in a solid performance in the movies, everyone in the Mandalorian is terrible. I know Carl Weathers isn’t some great thespian, but Rocky at least shows that he has some ability. He was so bad in this I thought that maybe it was supposed to be funny. The MMA fighter was exactly as good as you would expect an MMA fighter to be. And Pedro Pascal was wearing a helmet at all times. You could have gotten that performance out of Cleverbot. Maybe season two will be better. The production values are there. If they improve the writing and the supporting cast, maybe this show has a chance. Im hopeful, but not optimistic. Jon Favreau has never shown me that he is better than this. Maybe Kenobi Will be better. At least Ewan McGregor is a decent actor. Expand

The musical score is a incredible mix of electronic / brass instrumental and something new to the franchise that I absolutely welcome. All of the acting is great and they have brought back many of the alien races from the original trilogies (instead of not showing barely any! *cough* *cough* episodes 789). The Good:
The Mandalorian starts out great and allows for great plot development and character-building, along with a welcome return of solid practical effects.

The Bad:
The plot doesn't extend much beyond that.
Interesting characters encountered are often discarded immediately and the viewer is consistently treated as if suffering from acute dementia: (Repeatedly reminding them of past events or character's customs well after they've been established.)
The writers must have double standards: Star Wars tech is proudly presented with staggering demonstrations of power/force. But whenever this force turns itself against any of the protagonists it is conveniently swept under the rug. (Nope those enemy soldiers were never there! No, he can't be hit, he as plot armor!)
The Storytelling is reminiscent of the A-Team.

Unfortunately it becomesHaving finally watched the Mandalorian, I am pleased to announce that this is quite possibly my favorite piece of Star Wars media since the Original trilogy, although that doesn’t raise the bar exceedingly high. Unfortunately it becomes evident quickly that prior knowledge of the franchise, particularly the clone wars and rebels is required to understand many of the references, so despite the fact that this didn’t bother me, it might detract from the enjoyment of others. Pedro Pascal is absolutely phenomenal as a battle-hardened warrior with a strong moral compass, in fact he may be my favorite Star Wars protagonist to date, but once again protagonists have always been a weak point of the series so that doesn’t say much. To compensate for us never seeing his face, Pascal delivers a badass and also charismatic performance, which is always accentuated by Ludwig Göransson’s Kick-Ass score. The plot is pretty straightforward. Mando is a renown bounty hunter who after being sent on a rather questionable contract, begins to reconsider his loyalty to the bounty hunter’s guild. The series is only 8 episodes long, which is usually fine, but considering the episode lengths range from 30-40 minutes I’d say the show is a little on the short side. This is made worse by the fact that episodes 4-6 barely advance the story, which again wouldn’t be so much of a problem if it was a tad longer. This means that other than Mando, the majority of the characters, including the main villain (who isn’t even introduced until the penultimate episode), aren’t properly fleshed out. However, despite this I found myself caring deeply about the members of the supporting cast, particularly Gina Carano’s Cara Dune, and Carl Weathers’ Greef Carga. This is not because either of which are particularly well written, but because they are both extremely well acted. I mentioned before that episodes 4-6 stray from the plot, and therefore they are consequentially the weakest in the season. Episode 4 Is also a blatant rip off of Akira Kurosawa’s Seven samurai, a film which is given over 3 hours to develop its plot, whereas the mandalorian only has 30 minutes. However the saving grace of the episode is that it introduces us to Cara Dune, and therefore I am willing to forgive this. I believe Episode 6 takes inspiration from blade 2, as it features our protagonist teaming with those he would otherwise hunt, which leads to a predictable and inevitable betrayal, resulting in Mando facing each member of his team. Episode 5 is in my opinion the worst of the bunch, and the most heartbreaking thing about this is that it was directed by Dave Filoni. Nothing of interest happens throughout the entire episode, other than a short but sweet sniper hunt. Giancarlo Esposito also joins the show as an especially unmemorable villain, which is somewhat disappointing considering how amazing he was as Gustavo Fring (breaking bad), but to be fair there wasn’t a huge focus on him.
Now that all the bad is out of the way I can get onto more positives. The Mandalorian expands the lore in interesting ways, showing us more about life in the outer-rim, filling in the gaps of the Mandalorian’s (the creed, not the show) story, and providing some insight into how the galaxy evolved post empire. It’s also cool to see some really well filmed action sequences that don’t involve lightsabers for once. In conclusion the Mandalorian is a highly enjoyable ride from beginning to end, and despite its flaws, is generally one of the better pieces of Star Wars media. 9/10

This show is proof that Disney is capable of making amazing Star Wars. The main thing that works in the show's favor is how simple it is. The main problem with the sequel trilogy is that it tried shoving so much down people's throats that it made them hard to bear. With Mandalorian, it takes it time to tell its story and take its time fleshing out Mando (played excellently by Pedro Pascal). Also, this show has a very cinematic quality to it, and that's not just talking about the visual effects; the cinematography, the storytelling and the editing feel as that of a film. The Mandalorian is the best thing to happen to Star Wars right now. Even if you aren't a Star Wars fan, you will have a good time with this show. I understand if you don't want to support Disney+, but give it a shot. You won't regret it. Expand

Somehow, this series outdid the new trilogy as a whole. Excellent visuals, plot, and script supercharge the show and propel it above other recent miniseries, such as The Witcher. It left me eager for another season.

I like the fact that they took some times to show us more of the universe of SW. It is designed to be a western sci-fi with a good budget. The main character seems very simple but is complex like many of us. The asset is well done. All the secondary characters are often more interesting and offer a great support to the story. The effects are really good in space. More or less when it comes to the air flying. I give it a 90%. I felt it was a surprise that it was so good. Hopefully they can keep this up. Expand

I really really enjoyed this. The Mandalorians are my favorite thing in Star Wars and always have been. I was nervous to watch this... but i'm truly impressed. It's gritty and creative... it's just what the dying franchise needs.

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. The Mandalorian has been one of the most anticipated shows in the 2019 year on the new on-demand streaming service, Disney Plus. For the monthly cost of $6.99 a month, subscribers are able to watch the show. However, is it worth the hype? The Mandalorian brings a new type of genre to television and does it impressively. This space western show introduces you to Din Djarn, the Bounty Hunter and Mandalorian. He is a mysterious and maverick person, who was at first reckless then became prudent when he met a certain bounty, the child.
The child was certainly a show stopper in both the show and in real life. Din Djarn decides to take the responsibility of caring for the child when he realizes that the whole galaxy is after him. Along this journey, the Mandalorian meets strong characters that help him in his present and future journeys. Characters such as Cara Dune (shown below), is not in every episode. However, when she is, she is critical to the situation. This show was directed towards Star Wars fans. However, it became much more popular to not only Star Wars fans, but to almost everyone who owns Disney Plus. Not only Star Wars fans would be impressed, but normal TV watchers would be too. Critics raved on how impressed they were with the show, rating it a 95% on Rotten Tomatoes. Many focused their compliments on the characters. Watchers were impressed with the Mandalorian’s character specifically, and the transformation of his character throughout the first season. They were also impressed by one of the stars of the show, Baby Yoda. The innocent child stole the hearts of all the watchers and will continue throughout the series.
The Mandalorian takes you into worlds and stories that go beyond the Star Wars universe. It introduces you to a brave yet maverick Mandalorian, who is just trying to make a living in the galaxy yet his life gets crashed by a mischievous yet adorable child. It takes you on an unexpected yet incredible journey. So make sure to click on The Mandalorian next time you are on Disney plus, because as Din Djarren would say “This is the way”.

Had a good plot but there was no clear direction. It felt like it was slowing down during the middle three episodes but that doesn't mean they were bad. The main character the mandalorian is a great character that I enjoyed watching. The tone was a little inconsistent between episodes. For example a character would die at the end of one episode and the first scene in the next one there would be a VERY funny scene. The show overall added some great thing to the lore and expanded upon other things in the lore as well. The way they use the force was so amazing. Also baby Yoda might be the greatest character ever created in the star wars universe.
Overall, If you are looking a Clint Eastwood western in space with a high budget, cool characters, engaging story and Baby Yoda this is the show for you.

I love science fiction, good science fiction, like Aliens. But this series is an utter bore fest. The plots, course of action and outcomes are childish and predictable. The dialogue is infantile. I guess since it's a Disney production it has to be family and immature. I mean the hero runs around in a helmet for crying out loud and never takes it off because, "It's the way". How silly is that. This has got to be the easiest role Pascal has ever played. The little, green Muppet has more character and expression and he/she doesn't even say a word. The level of futuristic tech is on the same level one would see in the 50's Buck Rogers television series. I guess the producers are keeping with the Stars Wars theme and Disney is keeping for the Mickey Mousketeers fan club, I guess I'll skip season 2 because this Disney production is just too corny and prepubescent for my taste. The Mandalorian is probably the first Star Wars thing since Return of the Jedi That has accurately captured the look and feel of the original trilogy. The Force Awakens felt like it but didn’t really look like it, Rogue One looked like it but didn’t really feel like it, The Mandalorian does both! The action is thrilling, the episodes tell fun pulpy adventure stories with memorable new characters (with The Child - Baby Yoda - usually stealing the show), and it expands the lore of Star Wars in interesting ways. Some episodes go for long stretches with no dialogue, all visuals, very similar to Samurai Jack, but the show also feels like a spaghetti western. It is about bounty hunters and indigenous cultures and lawless, wild planets, after all. The effects are almost on-par with the movies, the music is probably the most interesting and unique Star Wars score ever written outside of the 9 movies, and it leaves you wanting more! This is my new favourite show, my favourite Star Wars project since Disney bought the franchise and it is well worth getting Disney+ for! This is the way. I have spoken. Expand

The stakes are always well grounded: a village under attack from raiders, a bounty worth collecting, a betrayal here and there; but the logic tends to fail. For all his experience as a bounty hunter, The Mandalorian seems to constantly fall for obvious betrayals. The bad guys seem to have tracker beacons that just instantly lead them to our heroes, removing any incentive for them to cover their tracks or try to hide. And the main bad doesn't even show up until the last episode, when he has them cornered and then offers them a day to come out and negotiate (a day? like, not a minute?). The show is a fun romp through familiar locales, but outside of the Star Wars aesthetic, there's not much going on. Expand

Like Disney's movies, this product survives only on endless references to Lucas' two trilogies (mainly the old one, as aging brainless nerds are still catered to), but brings nothing new to the franchise and doesn't expand it in any way.

Plot-wise, the Mandalorian is empty. Filled with cheesy lines, each episode is a package of played-out filmmaking cliches - the hardened warrior having feelings all of a sudden, the noble protagonist joining a band of misfits "for one last job" and getting betrayed, etc. The story is structured like that of an old bad videogame - the protagonist gets a quest from an NPC (you need to capture the kid - you need to free a prisoner - you need to help the peasants, the list goes on), completes it and gets a quest from another, the story doesn't unfold on its own in any major way. A few paragraphs could be dedicated to the stupidity of both supporting and the titular characters, to how dumbly he falls into any trap laid before him, and how he tries to be a badass in one scene only to be beaten up in another, but this is getting too long anyway.

Finally, I don't understand the necessity of Pedro Pascal's involvement. The titular character never shows his face, and playing him doesn't require any acting abilities, you just read the lines blandly. IMDb's trivia even says that he doesn't appear on screen at all in episode 1, it's all body doubles. I would just fire him and save some budget.

I've read people say "this finally has the right vibe". The only thing likening this to the old movies is how cheap it looks compared to modern feature films.

There were definitely some great moments within Season 1, but unfortunately, these great moments were too few and far between. One of the biggest issues hands down is the acting which can range from tolerable to downright torturous at times- this is easily some of the worst acting performances we have witnessed in the Disney era, but there are definitely a few standout performances. In addition, the story with the exception of "the Child", who has been dubbed "Baby Yoda" isn't that interesting. I feel like The Mandalorian is about as generic as you can get which is a shame because overall it seems like a missed opportunity. Instead of interesting known Star Wars favorites such as Bossk, Boba Fett, IG-88, Dengar, etc we simply were given an unknown character who quite frankly isn't that special (or that interesting for that matter). This seems just like another attempt from Disney to bury just more of what George Lucas created and it doesn't work that well. Sure this offering is better than The Last Jedi, Attack of the Clones and the mediocre Solo film, but compared to other films within the Skywalker saga and compared to other Star Wars TV shows such as The Clone Wars and Rebels, The Mandalorian simply isn't the slam dunk that many people claim it to be. As a Star Wars fan, it is worth a watch, but it isn't really worth the cost of Disney+ subscription on its own merits. Expand

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Okay, at the moment I didn’t really like the series. I will explain why. Firstly, the action is quite slow. Yes, I understand, he is a professional, so he does not fuss and all his movements are clear and well-developed. But can you not always do this? Are you a catwalk model or a bounty hunter? Around the middle of the 1st series, it really starts to get very annoying. Further, I want to note indecently cliched battle scenes in the bar and in the camp. The bandits, like the legendary imperial stormtroopers, cannot get into the high droid and its huge head. Seriously, he just stood there and “distracted attention” while the Mandalorian tried to open the door and never hit him! Well, even with a machine gun he got a couple of shots. The character himself does not cause any feelings so far - the entire first series he was no different from the droid-hunter, and only in the end we see a certain manifestation of feelings in the scene with mini-Yoda, which, incidentally, turned out to be impossibly cute and cool. Let's hope that the Mandalorian, in the course of events, will reveal itself more and more as a person and we will learn more about him, all the more there are already prerequisites for this. Finally, I really did not like the soundtrack of the series, despite the fact that it was created by an Oscar-winning composer. In many moments, he simply did not guess with the accompaniment, and the main theme turned out to be not expressive and uninteresting.
Now I would like to say about the advantages. The Mandalorian outfit looks very good, and in general, all the props and special effects in the series turned out to be really good. A good acting in a scene with a customer and a guide, easy and appropriate humor, pretty good remarks of the characters - all this gives hope that in the future the series will draw the viewer to itself and make it sink. Yes, it’s really better than what Disney has done lately (apart from Rogue One and the Fallen Order) although the Obi-Wan spin-off series is still more desirable for me

If you signed up for Disney+ because you wanted more Disney/Kathleen Kennedy Star Wars, the Mandalorian is for you. If you HATE Disney/Kathleen Kennedy Star Wars... the Mandalorian might also be for you.

The first episode is very poor and as a result I almost did not watch any more. My review of the first episode follows:

There is no denying the Mandalorian carries the veneer of Star Wars and contains some good action. The problem is there is little else. The story is extremely weak. A wooden lead that never takes off a helmet is impossible to care about. The ridiculous backstory details sound like they were made up during a game of Mad Libs.

This is alternate universe/bizarro Star Wars. The writers heard of this thing called Star Wars, watched a couple trailers and figured that was enough information with which to write the series.

So much is wrong. We get a whole new misuse of the word 'parsec'. A sentient creature roasted at a market stall. Captured bounties are frozen in carbonite, because Han was (even though in the OT we were led to believe that was not the norm for bounties), and using an ancient yet surprisingly portable alcove fitted unit. There is so much to groan about.

Dave Filoni's participation starts and ends with directing two episodes. He obviously had no creative control or these and other ridiculous things would never have happened?

Don't believe me? Apparently Mandalorians now never take off their helmets. Huh? Bobba Fett did in the prequels. Even in Filoni's own "The Clone Wars" and "Rebels", Mandalorians are often seen without their helmets. I should also point out, Disney considers both series canon.

So why did I continue? The same reason you'll watch the series: Baby Yoda (the species not the actual Yoda). I'll admit it, I would watch an entire series with just Baby Yoda being Baby Yoda and nothing else. Like a Star Wars Yule Log video.

The lead character fills the quote for maximum allowable non-incompetent white males. You can extrapolate the rest of that because: Kathleen Kennedy/Bob Iger.

The action is still pretty good. There are MANY terrible actors that are of the quality you'd expect from a self-funded independent film.

The Mandalorian can best be described as an animated Star Wars series... but live action.
Definitely overrated. Not worth a Disney+ subscription alone.
It's a solid 2 and a half 'meh'.

I did like the first episode but it went down hill from there, with only a few moments that brought it up a little at the end. “Cash grab” is the only way I can accurately describe it. I did like the Easter eggs and the attention to the lore, but most all the introductions and additions felt forced and unnatural. Overall, it felt like a ploy to introduce more toys to sell. Of course with Star Wars you’re not going to get the most intelligent sci-fi and you’ll have to learn to suspend your disbelief, but to me this was just a little too much and just felt like convenient story telling. My main problem with the show though is it is somewhat predictable and it seems to take a lot of safe routes and episode 4 did seem to steal from a Star Wars the Clone Wars episode. But these problems are definitely easy to ignore since it's still so fun to watch and really well made! Definetly worth spending $7 to get Disney Plus. Expand

It has the old Star Wars vibe and it's pretty well-done. I loved it.

You should check it out.

Sometimes it's movie-grade scene with superb costumes and special effects, The next it's amateur stand-up theatre. Action, action, action, now stop for a few minutes because I have to explain something. Ok, that should have done the trick, let's go again and action, action, action. Aaaaannnnnd stop you stormtroopers just wait right there for a few minutes. Time for a supposedly emotional scene now, and OK, go go go ... It just doesn't flow at all. On the one hand beautiful special effects, with some movie quality scenes, on the other hand boring exposition and some dumb and childish plot choices. The baby is cute, some of the acting is really good, some is really bad. As a whole it just doesn't flow, that's my main problem with the first season.
Still, it's visually nice enough to look at, so not a total waste of time if you're looking for a Star Wars fix.

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. The Mandalorian is a good show, I really wanted a star wars show the deals with the bounty hunter, clones wars the cartoon did a really good job with it, my problem is that the character is really boring and the idea the mandalorian don't Remove their helmet is really stupid, in the show rebel and clone wars they show mandalorian without their helmet. Best thing of Star Wars that we have today. Hopefully Kathleen Kennedy will step aside after Episode IX fiasco and Jon Favreau or Dave Filoni will take the lead of Lucasfilm. Probably this will be the beginnig of a new saga... I have spoken.

Just wow. Better than any of the modern Star Wars movies. At this point they sjould stop making crappy star wars movies and focus on this type of series instead. Wouldnt mind longer episodes.
