Season 3: It's not a Mandalorian series anymore, it's more like a bad cosplay convention.

The first two seasons were totally amazing, but unfortunately, the third season is a complete joke. Pedro Pascal's Mandalorian has turned into a real dud, just like his character Joel in The Last of Us series. I mean, come on, Pedro, can you please play a hero that actually does something?

And don't get me started on the Mandalorian's pretentious gait. It used to be so cool and mysterious, but now it looks like he's trying to strut down the catwalk. The cinematography that used to make his walk look cool now makes him look like a joke.

The Mandalorian Brotherhood looked like a bunch of cosplay fans in their budget-friendly costumes. The worst part is that the show doesn't even feel like a Mandalorian series anymore. Some episodes revolve around completely different characters, and even when the Mandalorian does show up, he's not even the main focus of the story. It's like they forgot what made the show so great in the first place.

I'm so disappointed that I had to change my rating from 10 stars to one star. This garbage that they call season 3 should have been a completely separate series altogether.

I wish I could rate the third season specifically, but unfortunately, I can't.

Overall, The Mandalorian season 3 is a huge disappointment. I had high hopes for this series, but unfortunately, it has completely missed the mark. If you're a fan of the first two seasons, you might want to skip this one.

Expand

My issue with last episode is was that battle 50v4 battle in the open nonetheless and that was one of the worst scenes I've seen in tv shows ever. That's battle ruined episode 8 which ruined entire season, kinda like 8th season of GoT ruined tv show overall. Expand

This show has turned to complete poopybutt when Mando appeared in "the book of Boba Fett" and took a turn to utter ridiculousness in season 3.
This show should be called "The Womandalorian" for how they treat Mando in season 3. In fact, he isn't even the main character anymore. Bo-Katarn is and she constantly cu()cks Mando out of his role. Seriously, fk her and fk this "strong female character" bull. All this woke feminist pc diversity inclusion plague can kiss my fkn behind.

My advice if you really want to watch it, stop after season 2 and never watch the Boba Fett shi()tshow.
Even better advice: stop watching anything modern Disney.
Woke garbage is all they release these days.

Season 1: 6/10
Season 2: 5/10 (the last episode is 9/10 tho)
Season 3: 0/10

Consequently 3/10

This was the last good Star Wars show, the only one that made Disney any profit (everything else was a well deserved colossal financial failure) and they ruined it. This is what you get for not listening to the millions of (paying) fans and instead follow the extremist woke cult that doesn't even watch your movies. Enjoy going broke Disney, you idiots.

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. The Mandalorians aren't adequately cautious against dragon attacks, and lose one of their young. They then violently attack the dragon, threaten its young, and (indirectly though they bear responsibility) kill the dragon. The Mandalorians are to blame for all this. Sad to see such a large, beautiful creature destroyed. What disrespect for nature. What a terrible lesson for children. Expand

Kids get the usual Disney contents, moms get Baby Yoda, dads get Star Wars nerdy reference. The show almost feels like being made by a bunch of fanfiction writers with familiarity of the setting but zero sense of screen writing.

Storyline shows no complexity at all. In fact, most of them are fillers. You can skip 4 of 8 episodes and you'll still understand the story just fine. Characters are completely uninteresting. None of them are developed. None of them had nuances: protagonists are morally good heroes; antagonists are one dimensional evils. The show relies only on a cute muppet and flashy action, but has zero substance. Had a potential great world-building with some details, but they chose to abandon it for rule of cool (and cute).

Don't put your characters in impossible situations if you want them to survive. Because when they do when they logically shouldn't, it completely shatters the viewers suspension of disbelief. Honestly it feels like 90% fan service and the other 10% cheesy storytelling. Major letdown of a show. Expand

I love science fiction, good science fiction, like Aliens. But this series is an utter bore fest. The plots, course of action and outcomes are childish and predictable. The dialogue is infantile. I guess since it's a Disney production it has to be family and immature. I mean the hero runs around in a helmet for crying out loud and never takes it off because, "It's the way". How silly is that. This has got to be the easiest role Pascal has ever played. The little, green Muppet has more character and expression and he/she doesn't even say a word. The level of futuristic tech is on the same level one would see in the 50's Buck Rogers television series. I guess the producers are keeping with the Stars Wars theme and Disney is keeping for the Mickey Mousketeers fan club, I guess I'll skip season 2 because this Disney production is just too corny and prepubescent for my taste. I did like the first episode but it went down hill from there, with only a few moments that brought it up a little at the end. “Cash grab” is the only way I can accurately describe it. I did like the Easter eggs and the attention to the lore, but most all the introductions and additions felt forced and unnatural. Overall, it felt like a ploy to introduce more toys to sell. Of course with Star Wars you’re not going to get the most intelligent sci-fi and you’ll have to learn to suspend your disbelief, but to me this was just a little too much and just felt like convenient story telling. II think I finally understand what Star Wars fanboys want. They grew up on the Lucas films so they think great special effects with paint-by-numbers plots, amateurish acting at best, and laughably bad dialogue is what makes great content. I grew up on Star Wars and loved it, warts and all. This seems like real Star Wars but lacks the most important thing: fun. This was boring. And I mean, really boring. Like so boring that I watched the first two episodes when they came out and just stopped. And only finished the rest six months later when I was injured and had to stay on the couch all day. And even then it was a struggle to get through. At least one episode could easily have been an episode of Xena: Warrior Princess. The new film trilogy has LOTS of flaws. But there were times during that mess that I felt like what was going on mattered, at least a little. Nothing that happens in this show matters at all. And while Adam Driver was the only actor to put in a solid performance in the movies, everyone in the Mandalorian is terrible. I know Carl Weathers isn’t some great thespian, but Rocky at least shows that he has some ability. He was so bad in this I thought that maybe it was supposed to be funny. The MMA fighter was exactly as good as you would expect an MMA fighter to be. And Pedro Pascal was wearing a helmet at all times. You could have gotten that performance out of Cleverbot. Maybe season two will be better. The production values are there. If they improve the writing and the supporting cast, maybe this show has a chance. Im hopeful, but not optimistic. Jon Favreau has never shown me that he is better than this. Maybe Kenobi Will be better. At least Ewan McGregor is a decent actor. Expand

Oh, and mostSlow, generally episodic with gaping plot holes (e.g. setting traps instead of using your spaceship to blow up a barbarian hoarde) and strange character changes (a bounty hunter suddenly doesn't want to kill certain people). Oh, and most annoyingly of all is that everyone has a catchphrase which they use to death. There are also a few nice merchandising opportunities. It's like a long trailer for a video game - there's 'the cave' where you go to resupply, get power-ups, etc, a kind of skill tree as he gets new equipment, characters that will give you side jobs but still a main quest etc.

All in all, slow-paced and quite lame. And there's literally the worst lightsaber ever seen (seriously, was that CGI done by a child?).

I hope Lucas buys the Lucasfilm again or that the Disney decides to reset the canon it introduced, and then to restore the canon prior to 2014.

It's sad when you find out that not only is John F and Waititi involved in this show but that it's this awful sad excuse for a SW project that follows suit to these last three terrible terrible movies they made.

How can it be a gritty show and still be a kid show on Disney?

Did anyone think about anything other than profits when they decided to make a gritty PG13 show those two don't go together.

Also there is a scene when Mandalorian children are running by and every Mando in the bunker is wearing their helmet in doors.

Did any of these morons making this actually ever read a comic or novel with Mandalorians mentioned in it?

If they had they would realize how that doesn't make any sense, even to help them with their silly attempt to make us feel good about never showing the Mando main characters face.

Also not a good idea to have a show with a character we cannot see and bond with, you have 8 39 min episodes, 8.

Congrats Disney keep ruining SW and Marvel and humping it's corpse for every cent you can. One day you won't be able to coerse and manipulate the fanbase you didn't build into buying your **** anymore.

You are without shame and without vision and that can't last for ever.

Well done hacks!
