His attitude about women in general: "It's a beautiful thing and it's just the hugest pain in the ass sometimes." Christena worries that Abram is too set in his ways, so she gives him a short course on women while they're chilling in the front seat of the RV and later she half-jokingly tells the girls that they each have to take turns educating him. Abram responds with a resounding "Noooo," but even a guy as clueless about women as he is knows that he's not off the hook yet.
Abe makes it clear that although people may not like his personality or some things he does, he's gonna throw down and get the job done come mission time. En route to the location of their second mission, the roadies come upon six large Fijian men dressed in black, holding shovels. It looks like the grim reaper has multiplied. Mission mayors Irene and Russell tell them that this challenge involves a heavy dose of trust and teamwork because they are all going to be...buried alive! Dum, Dum Dummm. While most people are afraid of heights or bugs or small spaces, Marybeth says she actually has a fear of being buried alive. Cara is not far behind in chiming in to say that she has a fear too: claustrophobia. The team must choose one "seeker" and the rest will be buried. Marybeth pleads with her teammates for them to choose her as seeker. They all agree and Cara's only stipulation is that she gets dug up first.

The rules dictate that the seeker can take one other team member with them to help find the other Road Rulers. Each teammate must take note of how they are being led to their grave site so they can use a walkie talkie, while in their grave, to describe to the seeker where they can be found. They have three hours to finish the mission and enough air to last that amount of time. If anyone freaks, they have the option of blowing an air horn so they will be rescued from their coffin, but that will result in their first failed mission.
Six feet under, Abe worries that he might not get rescued from his grave because his teammates are pissed off at him. Waxing philosophical, Abe later confesses he wants to see the midget Olympics before he dies. Unable to communicate with Marybeth via walkie, Cara freaks out when she learns that Marybeth has to go after Donell first. But she hangs tight and doesn't let her fear get the best of her. She is rescued second and later even helps to locate Christena. With the help her teammates, Marybeth successfully finds everyone, with only Dave and Abe left. Dave is extremely hot in his grave and suffering from anxiety. He is unable to give Marybeth clear directions, so Marybeth and Christena dig up Abe so he can put his Boy Scout training into action to seek out Dave. With only nine minutes remaining they find Dave, complete the mission and receive another piece of the tattoo.

Later, it becomes clear that nothing Christena said to Abe earlier has stuck because he's hanging out at a bar after the mission talking about Marybeth's, ahem, enhanced assets. Cue another heart-to-heart in the RV with Abe and all three of the girls. Feeling a little ganged up on, Abe is slightly defensive and although he's also apologetic, it's clear that he's not sure what he is doing wrong. The girls also don't seem to realize that Abe makes certain statements just to get a rise out of them. In the midst of the conversation, Christena teases Abe and tells him that maybe it would be easier if they all died their hair blonde. Abe's response is not exactly what they want to hear: "It still wouldn't work out baby, you'd still be my bitch." Alas, there's no hugging at the end of this heated discussion; the girls throw their hands up in frustration and leave the RV. Abe knows he is skating on thin ice with the girls, but he also knows exactly how to end a conversation he'd rather not be a part of.
