Mary Beth definitely sees Abe's actions changing and she believes he's making an effort. Cara is admiring her wreath and upon learning Abe had to go to the hospital because he cut his hand while making the gifts, she snorts, "Well, you shouldn't use butter knifes to cut things." Realizing that was a low blow, she quickly adds, unconvincingly, that she appreciates the gift. Sitting up at the front of the RV with Abe, it seems that Christena is the only one who is making a full-fledged effort to get to know Abe.

Their next mission involves competing against a 6'5', 305 pound Island Warrior in a traditional strong man competition. Road Rulers must win two out of three events in order to complete the mission. Event number one entails lifting heavy stones onto a platform. The Roadies misjudge their strength and are unable to complete the mission faster than the strong man. They come back strong in the second event and smoke the Warrior in the 800 lb. tire flipping contest.

Peacekeeper Christena hurls insults and foliage at the Island Warrior while they are enjoying a break--the last person we'd expect these antics from. The other cast members tell her to zip it before the Warrior sticks his 305 island-ass on them! Next we watch the Road Rulers struggle to pull a semi truck 30 meters across a finish line, but they win easily and conquer the third mission.

At dinner later that night, Abe opens up about his ex-girlfriend, who he calls "probably the best girl I've ever met in my life." But the other cast members can't seem to take this Montana boy seriously, with Cara and Donell bursting into laughter in the middle of his story. Abe is clearly worn down by this behavior. Back in the RV, snickers are heard from the other bunks as Abe complains about his teammates to Christena, who comforts him.
The next morning Abe pulls Cara aside to apologize for his previous behavior and to tell her that he's willing to make an effort if she is. He feels like she's jumping on his case a little too quickly. She agrees and then turns into a 7th grader as she quizzes Abe on whether or not he's gonna talk to Donell too. Cuz he's, like, worse than her.

Abe waves Donell over to the conversation, but Donell, getting a sense for what's up, says he doesn't feel like talking. Cara pleads with him to join them and he finally agrees. Donell shows respect for the way Abe approached him about his issues and says he will certainly try to ease off a bit, but as soon as Abe leaves the conversation, Cara and Donnell bust up laughing.
