Summary: Cara's Complaint of the Day: The RV smells like dirty feet. Most of the other Roadies are tired of her nitpicking and think she needs to lighten up and just have a good time. It probably wouldn't hurt if Donell put a hose to his feet every once and a while too. Most of the other Roadies are tired of her nitpicking and think she needs to lighten up and just have a good time. It probably wouldn't hurt if Donell put a hose to his feet every once and a while too. Always playing both sides, Dave says he loves his roommates, but "some of them bitch so much, I can't even believe it." Translation: "Cara is a bitch."

And so the unlikely duo of Cara and Dave decide to spend the day together in Wellington. Cara, in what looks like an attempt to flirt with Dave, says today her mission is to get to know Dave better. Aww, that's cute and not bitchy at all. What she doesn't know is that if she fails this mission, Abe will return to the RV. (Just Kidding, Cara!) Dave says they bond during Cara's "mission" and he is glad he got to know her better. He understands her more and admires her for saying what's on her mind. The final verdict: she's one of the "funniest coolest chicks I know" he declares.

Later, Donell, Christena, and Chris bitch about how Cara adds a huge negative weight to the group. With a newfound respect for Cara and a constant desire for people to like him, Dave defends her. (We like you Dave; we really do.) The Roadies accuse him of kissing butt.

Smelly feet and kissing ass aside, it's time to focus on the mission. The Roadies take a helicopter to Fox Glacier and learn that their mission is to successfully traverse the glacier by sunset or they will have to vote someone off. Guy Cotter, who has summited Mount Everest twice, is their mission mayor and explains each obstacle they must complete.

Donell is doing well, except he's moving slowly and the Roadies begin to worry that they might not finish the mission in time. Meanwhile, Cara is doing an excellent job and it looks like she's even having fun.

The last obstacle they must complete involves rappelling down a crevice and then climbing an ice wall (with only an ice axe) to reach the top of the glacier where they'll finish their mission. Chris goes first and aces it. Mary Beth struggles but completes the obstacle as well. With only an hour remaining until sunset, Donell begins his decent. Nearly a half an hour later, he is just getting starting on the ice wall. Donell knows he's not doing well and while his teammates are encouraging him, they know that they are going to fail this mission. And that's precisely what happens. Donell is upset and very apologetic about his performance.

Now comes the part where the Roadies stop being polite and start getting real. The "Road Rules" state that the Roadies must say the name of the person and why they made that decision. If they fail to reach a majority decision, they will forfeit their handsome reward and a random person will be voted off.

Stressed by the importance of this decision, the Roadies scatter to form their opinions. Cara's thinking that Donell should go because he lost the mission for them. Donell is sure he's headed home, but is voting for Cara. Dave leaves the RV to not think about the vote-off. Christena and Chris discuss what's more important, heart or physical ability? Basically it looks like it's going to be split down the middle and it's going to be up to non-confrontational Dave to cast the deciding vote.

Mary Beth informs Donell and Cara that the votes are basically split right now between the two of them. And the two decide to say a few words to defend their right to stay.

Donell's defense: I've given my sweat and my guts no matter how injured I was (oooh, crack aimed at Cara!), no matter how bad I didn't want to do it, I've done it. I have a lot to offer as a friend and as a teammate; I've shown that.

Cara's defense: I think that I have proved I have been f---ing real (oooh, crack aimed at Donell!). I've carried my weight in every mission. Curiously, Cara says these two statements with a huge lack of conviction and even looks like she's about to snort Capri Sun out of her nose. She's either nervous or amused by her own testimony.

They all vote and it goes the way we expect, which leaves it up to Dave to make the deciding vote. He squirms and takes a long time to give his final answer. So long, in fact, that we have to wait until next week to find out what it is. Damn him. To Be Continued...
