    The punchlines fly thick, fast and pointed in Kevin Can Wait, and enough of them land to make it a diverting, if unenlightening, experience.

    Kevin Can Wait is neither as bad as you may have feared nor as good as you may have hoped. It’s squarely and innocuously in the middle.

    The larger issue here is that James and Hayes are pretty much all Kevin has.

    I was looking forward to this. King of Queens was great and I still watch reruns sometimes but this new comedy is loud and so far nobody thereI was looking forward to this. King of Queens was great and I still watch reruns sometimes but this new comedy is loud and so far nobody there has any character. Nothing sticks out. The wife is nice and the older daughter has the right charm but her boyfriend is over the top geeky and Kevin's cop friends are flat. I don't know, but I was annoyed during the entire episode. Will watch 2 more, but if I stay this way I will stop. It takes awhile till the characters develop I guess (hope).… Full Review »

    First thing that jumped out to me was the issue with age difference - how did the producer (s) not see this???
