So much better than I expected!! It is totally set for fans of the original so may not appeal to those who haven't seen it or were not fans. I loved everything about this reboot!!!!

After watching the whole season, I can honestly say that it's a really good spin off of the original show, with lots of references to Full House but also very unique spirit. I can't wait to watch the 2nd season!

It's no better or worse than the original, and that's okay by me. I'm 32, married and have three kids and it's nearly impossible to find something that we can all sit down and watch together. This fits the bill, though, and that's something that I'll take over a show that gets high ratings from critics and/or viewers any day of the week.

Some people are complaining about this... But this is what Full House always was. It was just a cheesy, light hearted comedy. If you like Full House, and you remember it for what it was, you're sure to enjoy this. Don't over analyze it. Just watch it, and take it for what it is. It's not bad at all.

I’m taking this show at face value. It’s just continuing Full House. They’re both corny but so what? It’s my guilty binge!

This show is not as bad as people say it is! As a Full House fan I really love it. It's hilarious at times and though cheesy in the beginning gets better. Honestly I think Critics are only hating on it to hate on it! The opening theme also isn't as bad. It's actually extremely catchy.

This is NOT Downton Abbey and no NOT expect it! Please.... this show was made for fans of the syrupy sweet show that we grew up with as children. It hits the spot and I found myself laughing at every corny joke. It is what it is. If you go in expecting high art or are not a fan of the original show, then WTF are you even watching!

Is it corny? Of course it is, it's a kids show! Full house was my favourite show growing up and I happen to think it's a great reboot and it's refreshing to see a family show like this around again that teaches good values. I will never understand why people who say they never liked the original show are even on here commenting. If you didn't like the original, why bother with this one? IfIs it corny? If you watch a film and you think it's rubbish, would you watch the sequel? I know I wouldn't. Fans of the original series will enjoy it and I think it has the same kind of charm as some of the better Disney channel series like good luck Charlie ( which funnily enough they compared to full house). This is a charming show for family viewing that's all you need to know! Expand

About time it happened! The negative critics is so unfair for the show its made for the die hard fans of Full House and the ones who just discovered the show. All the Full House elements are there what do you expect it's a sitcom not a Oscar show if that's what your looking for.

The first episode was as predicted, full of reunions and all (ok almost all) of the cast returning to show their face. As someone who watched the show regularly as a child it was satisfying honestly. As far as the format for the rest of the show, it is a fairly decent show taken out of context. I think some individuals don't realize this is a show on Netflix and not a prime-time sitcom. Love it for what it is but, those who enjoyed the original will most likely enjoy it much more. Expand

Watched this for the hell of it. It's actually funny once you get past the pilot. I agree with the other reviewer who said the 1st episode is the worst of the bunch. Kimmy's still weird and a joy to watch, the kids aren't as annoying as I thought they'd be- although Ramona's the weakest and probably least necessary character on the show. Some of her scenes are cringe worthy, while the two little boys are surprisingly capable actors.
It has potential, I hope they renew it for a 2nd season

This show succeeds in being funny despite having a focus on kids and family. I like the nostalgia and throwback jokes and catch-phrases, which I have been hearing others criticize. To those giving the show a rating of zero and explaining that they hated full house.. well then why would you expect to like a show that is a continuation featuring the same cast, writers, producer etc? Do you expect the producers to change everything that full house was and make a completely different show to suit an entirely different audience? I understand you're mad the show wasn't made for you but grow up, or at least use some type of cognitive function and get a grip on reality. Expand

By far the best series I have seen in a long time. This was a great way for us 90's kids to enjoy a piece of our history. I really hope they film a season 2. This has been a long awaited series and I look forward this this running for many many years. The series has many jabs at full house and some of its actors. The tag lines are amazing! HOW RUDE!!!!

I have been so pleased with the first season of Fuller House! I am so glad that there is finally a show out there that my entire family can watch without embarrassment, frustration, or muting. The standards for TV shows have gone downhill so much in the last 15 years I am excited to sit and watch it with my 9 year old daughter!

There are a few consistent bright spots, including party-girl Stephanie’s interactions with DJ’s annoying (sorry!) kids; the original series’ now-twentysomething fans will likely identify with her more than any other character.

The first episode does a nice enough job juxtaposing scenes from the original with parallel scenes in the present, but enjoying Fuller House will require a high tolerance for laugh tracks and corny sitcom humor.
