Think of Fuller House as “Full House 2.0.” Same premise, same vibe, mostly same cast.... A winner, strictly for fans.

As revivals go it is more than usually successful and true to the spirit of its predecessor.

There are a few consistent bright spots, including party-girl Stephanie’s interactions with DJ’s annoying (sorry!) kids; the original series’ now-twentysomething fans will likely identify with her more than any other character.

I personally didn't have very high expectation for this show, except for being able to see how the characters have progressed. They kind of breezed though it in the first episode but, you do find out what has happened. The first episode was as predicted, full of reunions and all (ok almost all) of the cast returning to show their face. As someone who watched the show regularly as a child it was satisfying honestly. As far as the format for the rest of the show, it is a fairly decent show taken out of context. I think some individuals don't realize this is a show on Netflix and not a prime-time sitcom. Love it for what it is but, those who enjoyed the original will most likely enjoy it much more. Full Review »

Even though I watched Full House in my childhood, I was never a big fan, but honestly this show is WAY funnier than Full House. It's more adult oriented (probably bc the writers know their chief audience are millennials), and the writing is sharper, wittier, and the jokes hit more than they miss. The three main female leads (Cameron-Bure, Sweetin, and Barber) fill their roles effortlessly, and their line delivery is spot on. Sweetin is especially good. Maybe it's because I expected nothing, but I am impressed with how funny this show turned out to be. I say, give it a chance & watch at least 3 episodes. The third one was really funny, and that's what sold me on it. Full Review »
